I LOVE MY COUNTERTOPS! They have done such a great job, it is worth every penny to get rid of that awful laminate - such a juicy color, feeling like sleeping on my countertop! Marie was a gem - i am by nature a typical ex New Yorker who distrusts companies and while there was a hiccup (had to buy a remnant on top of the slab), I chose to trust the process. Raul and his crew are so talented and thankfully A type workers so it looks pretty darn perfect. After going to several places, i went with them and AM GLAD I DID! Gratitude to a great local company. Oh! The way to go is to buy a slab - less expensive - instead of by the foot. There is a wide variety!

We had a wonderful experience with M and R Granite. The service from start to finish was personalized, professional, and they took care with the installation overall. Raul even sourced an extra-large piece of granite for our island so that we did not have to have a seam in a central part of the kitchen. I would recommend them for your kitchen/bath/project needs.

First of all, I want to say Maria was extremely helpful in educating, coordinating the project and working with my budget. The cost for granite and installation was reasonable. As for Raul and his crew, they were very professional, definitely ensured the measurements were accurate, template was made and the outcome was absolutely beautiful in my kitchen and two bathrooms. They worked hard until they completed the project. So happy and delighted with their workmanship and attention to detail. Thank you! I have a beautiful fireplace with a curved wooden mantle. I wanted a 2 cm matching stone top for the mantle.I took the mantle to M&R Marble and Granite. They have a good selection of 2 cm remnants and I found a dark granite slab at a good price, $100.I left the mantle there as a template. Two weeks later the stone was ready. The curves in the stone perfectly matched the wood and the edges and electric box cut out were just right. This is a very nice piece of custom stone work.

Maria and team are super knowledgeable, friendly, easy to work with, and very competitive price wise. We remodeled a small bathroom, and had never installed a countertop, so we had a lot of questions. Maria and team treated us like our little countertop was as important as much bigger jobs, answered all questions without making us feel ignorant, and gave us a beautiful countertop, exactly what we asked for. Plus they did it in a very reasonable amount of time and at very reasonable price.

M&R has been incredible to work with! They brought me in when there were questions about the granite and we were able to work together to figure out what would be best for me as the homeowner! And Raul does AMAZING work! I am so very impressed by this company...I can’t recommend them enough!

Very professional. Their tech made meticulous forms of my old counter and installed a beautifully and precisely cut granite counter. He checked and doublechecked his work and explained care and maintenance to me. There were no issues or miscommunciations with the business owners and the project was smooth and timely done. The granite in my kitchen and bathrooms is beautiful! The demo and installation took one day. My only regret is not having my own plumber on call to install the 4 new sinks but we got through it.

A great family owned business that is honest and hard working. We had M&R do a remnant for the vanity in our small powder room. It came out so well that we hired them to do the vanities on the other two bathrooms in the house. All came out great at what was a very fair price. Could not be happier!

I highly recommend M & R Marble and Granite. My Husband and I built a DIY laundry sink with a homemade Stand. I wanted a stone piece for the top. I found M&R Marble and Granite on my search and gave them a call. This local business was absolutely great. They have a “boneyard” and I was able to find a remnant piece of stone for my exact desires. They treated me as if I was their most important customer. Clearly they were busy with bigger jobs. My stone was very fairly priced and the custom cutting came out perfect . We are extremely happy with M&R and will definitely go back for any future counter surface upgrades.

They offered very competitive price compared to other fabricators. The granite work was well done. My kitchen was big. Raul and his team worked very hard. There was only one problem - the plumbing to my dish washer was not connected properly. I ran my dishwasher twice without knowing that the water was not even turned on. After two times, I see my dishes were not washed, and the soap was even dry. Only after I requested my husband to have a close look at the plumbing connection, we realized the water for the dishwasher was not turned on. Finally we can run our dishwasher, but the water was leaking all over the countertop. So we had to change the connection to prevent water leaking. Now I just hope that my new dishwasher didn’t get damaged from running without water. I think if I had asked Raul to test the dishwasher before he left, I wouldn’t have the follow-up problem.

I needed a cooktop cutout widened on my granite countertop and wasnt sure who to call. I contacted M & R Granite. Maria was very nice and even though it was a small job, she fit me in their very busy schedule. Raul came out to my house and did the work. He did an excellent job and went the extra measure of actually placing the new cooktop in the countertop even though that wasnt part of the deal! I highly recommend this company and I will definitely use them again for any of my granite needs.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with the look of our new countertops. The granite Raul installed gave our 30+ year-old countertops a beautiful facelift. Both he and Maria were a pleasure to work with. We switched our choice of granite twice and also the square footage, and Maria graciously modified the estimate.
