Today I asked if I could stop by without an appointment to pick up my hearing aid that had been ready for several days. I was without my normal hearing aid for 7 days and was anxious to get it back and feel normal. They were able to fit me in to the schedule, for which I was extremely thankful.Unfortunately, my experience picking up my hearing aid was frustrating and extremely negative. The audiologist who approached me was Damian, he was rude and abrasive. He began to lecture me about my decision to only wear a single hearing aid instead of two. He even went so far as to criticize the technician I was previously working with (Chrissy Pease) and let me know that she should have “pushed harder to get me to wear two hearing aids”. He did not let me explain my situation and immediately put me into a defensive situation. He also belittled me and spoke to me in an extremely patronizing manor and made me feel like I didn’t know what I’m doing.I’ve been hard of hearing my entire life and am a grown adult and should not have to explain myself or my situation. If he asked me why I choose to only wear one hearing aid, I would have been happy to explain but that would have been too pleasant for the cantankerous man who helped me.After he attacked me about my choice of a single hearing aid, I removed my loaner so I could try my hearing aid on. When I removed the loaner and was messing with my hearing aid, he continued to talk and I had to explained to him that I could not hear him as my hearing aid was not in my ear. He then pulled his mask down and continued to speak to me.For someone who works with hard of hearing folks for a living, you would assume that he would know to wait until the hearing aid is in their ear. Usually, you can tell when someone is ready and can hear you – but that’s just me, someone who’s been dealing with this for their entire life.I have never been treated so unprofessionally and insensitively. I will no longer be doing business with Sound Choice for my hearing aid needs.

A pleasant physical environment and personnel made this a relaxing visit. The hearing test, explanation of results, and options for addressing my hearing problem were presented professionally and with clarity. Costs were outlined and clear. It was a plus to have a week to try out the hearing aids before committing. After a more thorough discussion of costs and agreement I was eager to proceed with acquiring and paying for the instruments.

A great experience. In many businesses, your relationship with the vendor begins and ends with the sale. With SoundChoice, your purchase begins what seems to be an indefinite ongoing relationship. If you have problems with your hearing aids, you can get an appointment the day you call them or very shortly thereafter. If possible, they will resolve your problem during your visit. If not, and they have to send your hearing aids off for repair, they will provide loaners of the same quality. Even if you never have a problem, they will contact you every few months to have you come in for fine tuning your hearing aids to your specific requirements.Chrissy Peas and Damian Castillo are warm, friendly, professionals, who make each visit a pleasure.Being a military retiree, with a service-connected hearing loss and free hearing aids available from the VA, I have chosen to pay for hearing aids from SoundChoice for a number of reasons, not the least of which is their staff responsiveness.

I bought my latest hearing aids at Sound Choice, and they are Oticon aids. Why Oticon? That is the hearing aid of choice of Damian Castillo. He wears them and since he is the hearing specialist and owner of Sound Choice, Im satisfied. I wore them pheasant hunting last fall in North Dakota in minus 15 degrees chill factor and blowing snow. No problems For me, I like the surround sound, Im sure other companys have the same, but where Sound Choice excels is service. I just came out of my second six month check. I had my ears cleaned and my aids cleaned and checked. Cost to me zero! No maintenance agreements, just good conscientious service. Always as I leave Damian asks if I need filters or ear buds you cant beat it . Best family run business Ive seen.

SoundChoice was wonderful! I was convinced my ears were clogged due to earwax so I reached out about a cleaning. They were super fast getting me set up with an appointment. Everyone was super friendly and the office was clean and taking all the good Covid precautions. I highly recommend them!

This was a nice facility, with high tech testing equipment. The test was complete in just a few minutes and identified a need for hearing aids. After a comprehensive discussion about hearing aid types, the process for financing the set offered several options that were satisfactory. Impressed overall!

My husband went in for what we thought was ear wax removal need (which was performed). However, during the visit, it was determined that his years of working near loud noises necessitates hearing aids. Hearing aids were placed on him, he has been able to hear things he has not heard in years. We thought it was just ear wax blockage.....What a difference. The Dr and staff were extremely helpful with safety in mind, great office etiquette, etc... We are very happy with this new found solution to the issues experienced. Thank you!

I heard of Sound Choice hearing from my local radio station 770kkob. I went in and was immediately treated with kindness. Sound Choice hearing has EXCELLENT staff and quality service. Their equipment is modern and the products they offer are fresh off the market. I even got to demo some hearing devices for two weeks! I highly recommend Sound Choice hearing to anyone!

My husband has used this place since 2013 and Damien and his staff are the bees knees in customer service. They went out of their way to help us then and today they went beyond the moon to help my husband obtain new hearing aids so he could continue his employment. If i could give a negative star I would, this place has rude and unprofessional employees that do not know what they are doing. Not to mention the fact that when you correct them on their mistakes they get upset and ask you not to send them any business. Very obvious they do not know how to run a business
