I needed to replace my 35 fireplace logs and called BBQ Galore in Allen. Josh took the call and invited me to the store to look. He showed me my selections, recommended on unit and showed me exactly how to install it. My wife and I purchased everything we needed and had it installed and running in about 2 hours! Its looks great! Thank you Josh for your help and guidance! We made the right choice at the right store! Highly recommend Josh and BBQ Galore!!!

Just had the best experience with manager Josh! So knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me understand the parameters for replacing my built-in grill, walked through different manufacturers, and explained installation considerations. Super friendly and without question very well-versed in his business! Highly recommend!

Josh at BBQ Galore is GREAT! In todays age, finding someone in retail who knows his product and understands customer service is rare, indeed. I lucked out shopping at this store. The grills and equipment they sell are top notch and the prices are more than fair. Couple that with the expert assistance you get as you are selecting your grill and equipment, and you have the best winner in town. After the sale, same thing. Josh is there to help and make sure that the customers are satisfied. Great store and a great guy! It would be impossible to recommend them more highly.

I was in the market for a DCS Grill. I had spent all day calling around to see who around town had any inventory! I was being told I needed to wait anywhere from 8 weeks to 20 weeks until I called Barbeques Galore in Allen (on 190 E Stacy). Josh Bowery – Answered my call and let me tell you, as a business owner myself I wish every organization had someone like Josh talking to their customers. Josh explained how Barbeques Galore is different than the rest and why they keep the inventory they keep. Josh knew exactly what I was looking for and assured me that he indeed has the inventory at his warehouse, and I could pick up in two days. From start to finish the impression Josh gave me makes me go back to the Barbeques Galore in Allen for everything I need even if I have to drive 40 miles and pass many of their competition. Make sure you ask for Josh – he is honest, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

Last Sunday we bought an XL Green Egg and several accessories from BBQ Galore in Allen. The manager, Josh, left no stone unturned to make sure we had what we needed, and most importantly that we understood how to use everything we bought. I hope BBQ Galore realizes what a gem they have in Josh as a store manager. I also encouraged Josh to make instructional videos on YouTube. I would definitely watch all of them!

Walked in the store with my husband for the first time today to buy a smoker. No one greeted us, if we needed help nor asked if we had any questions. There were 2 workers and 1 other customer in the store. After walking around for a bit I told my husband I’d rather take my business elsewhere. He bought something small and while the worker was checking us out he kept stopping what he was doing and just watched my husband as he looked around at things at the register. We left without them saying anything besides “is that it?” We got outside and my husband realized he forgot charcoal so we went back in. This time the person who checked us out hurriedly came over to the corner where we were and again said nothing until we turned to see him standing there watching us. He said again “is that it?” This time I asked him if they had a specific grill in stock, but he told me they didn’t but could order it. I declined, and my husband sat his charcoal on the counter. This time the worker started checking us out but then stopped to answer a question about clocking in from his manager. I started getting annoyed because it was taking longer than one item should take to check out and I catch him watching my husband who was tying his shoe. He goes back to putting something in the computer and my husband puts his card in. The card reader showed that it was done and the guy says absolutely nothing to us nor did he hand us our bag. My husband grabs it off of the counter and sat there waiting for him to offer a receipt, say bye, anything but he doesn’t. My husband then asks is everything good as far if it’s ok to leave and the guy says yeah. I’ll keep going to Premier Grilling in McKinney where they greet you and always willing to help!

We were referred to Josh Bowery at Barbeques Galore in Allen TX by the construction company handling our backyard kitchen install. The Allen team has been professional and Josh has gone above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. We purchased a larger grill than we were planning on purchasing due to the information that was shared during our first visit. We decided to build a Pergola with a cooking area in our backyard and we set the budget for $4,000 to $5,000 for the Grill and the Burner. My wife Googled Grills and BBQ Galore came up and we went to visit the store and we met a World Class Salas Guy his name is Josh .. the stare have so many great Grills but with out an A Plus Presentation from Josh explaining for us the benefits that comes with these Grills. After a Decent Hour we End up Spending close to 10K and we bought the DCS series 9 the Bad Boy of the Grills .. with out a doubt if wasn’t for Josh we Probably just bought what we set our budget for But We Met the Right Guy in the Right Place and we are Super happy.

Josh Browery, district manager, went above and beyond to fulfill the commitment to deliver and install our Grand Turbo grill island, refrigerator, sink and high intensity burner! (Despite setbacks due to delays and inclement weather). Josh personally ensured that our bbq island carefully matched the decorum of our covered patio including the color and style. Josh is knowledgeable about all aspects of the products. We can’t wait to start firing up the grill soon.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. The left hand has no clue what the right hand is doing. They will tell you on the phone they have something in stock, you’ll drive 45mins, then be told nothing is in stock. This is the job you take when you can’t manage a college education. The Wal-Mart of ALLEN.

Been here a couple times, Always greeted nicely then in turns to pure arrogance. The young guy especially thinks he knows it all. Continually wants to tell me how my ideas are wrong or infeasible. In fact my last visit I was talking with a nice older gentlemen and he continued to interrupt with I dont mean to argue but.... Wanted to tell me how I couldnt find orifices to switch my LP smoker over to Natural Gas or would be too difficult to mess with. Well as I type this I have my perfectly balanced NATURAL GAS smoker going that I converted in just a couple hours with basic items from Home Depot. Bought 2 grills from them while in Frisco but this new shop and new staff will NEVER get a dime from me. I take offense to some young punk telling me what I can and cant do and what I need and dont need. Oh yeah forgot, I am a trained chef and BBQ competition winner. He didnt bother to get to know me or my needs at all. I guess there are those that have more money than sense, apparently enough to keep them in business. Nice products there dont get me wrong but plenty of other places to buy that dont treat you like and idiot. Good Luck

Loved it. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and hooked me up with an NTBA discount. I think the selection could be better on a few things but overall it is a great location. I will deffinantly be back in for another round of shopping in the near future.

Horrible customer service. The young man placed our order with an incorrect number and the wrong patio piece was delivered after waiting three weeks!! Then he phones and says my bad- the difference is $1593. Had to get the manager involved. We paid the difference at pure cost which was only $300. So, still waiting for the correct piece to be delivered. The same young man phoned this week to let us know if the piece was in and we could come pick it up... After we already paid for delivery the first time that they ordered the incorrect part!! Still waiting to hear from the manager!!They resolved problem.... it did take some time but in the end the manager did all he could to make the situation right.

Needed a thermometer for a Char-Broil grill. They didnt stock anything. Condescending about it to my girlfriends father. Unable to order anything. As the name implies.. not really galore. I bought my BGE at years ago. So overpriced. Better luck using the internet and Amazon. Better prices and better availability there for all my gourmet BBQ needs. This sealed the deal for me.

I was looking for a small factor, patio grill and once I got in the d=store I was greeted by one of the salesman. He was knowledgeable but he wanted to show me only the high priced items (the T-grill). When I asked if they have other similar items he said no... when I asked for how much does he think I would find the same grill online he said I should check and turned around and left me with an attitude. Found a grill in the back of the store (the Weber Q120) which I liked very much!Although I want and like to support local business, I will buy that from an online store (prices are the same as the in store ones) since that attitude really bothered me...

Do not trust these liars. My wife called them to check on an item to see if they had it on hand. After being assured the item was in stock, my wife drove the 45 minutes (one way) to discover that in fact the item was not in stock. When I asked if she spoke to the same gentleman that she spoke to on the phone she said yes, he did not care at all.There are many BBQ specific stores in the DFW area, choose another one is my advice.

Browsed, read reviews, did some price checking on other sites, and ultimately bought what I needed on Amazon while I was standing in front of the Big Green Egg accessories before a salesman could be bothered to say hello to me (they never did.) Wow.I would suggest that you wear a Ping hat and a polo to get some attention here.

The negative reviews surprised me. I have been shopping here pretty much from the time they opened. I always meet eager salesmen looking to please. They are always willing to answer questions. Even if its knowingly just for information. Every time I go in I always look at the Big Green Eggs. (I am currently cooking on a weber, but the BGE is the dream barbeque.) I have never had to deal with a high pressure salesmen or had to fend one off. They are always respectful towards me, whether I am just buying charcoal (the store brand hardwood charcoal is AWESOME) or a few accessories. I highly recommend this store!
