Always a great experience shopping at Home Depot. They allow dogs so its a great place to bring my little dogs when I shop the garden section with my wife. This last visit I was looking for a smart thermostat and had a much better experience than that other site with the blue logo. Was able to pick up the exact model my client was looking for.
I give it 2 stars for the ordering/delivery side of things only because the associates worked so hard to try and fix the issues it caused. The ordering system they use is a joke. Good look getting anything you order in bulk right now... better off going store to store to pick what you can.I asked to have it signed for and the delivery driver dropped it off and said if anything is missing its not my problem. The next day they drove onto my neighbors and my front lawn driving over sprinkler heads(not sure how none of them broke) and dropped the pallet on the middle of my walkway. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN. EVER.Future bulk orders will be done elsewhere or I will individually pull everything I need and some my time as I have lost 3 days waiting on this order to be fulfilled when the materials were all available day 1 - never got pulled aside so now they are gone and I cannot get what I need to get the job started.
Myra, the sales associate in the appliance dept, did a fantastic job in helping us select our washer/dryer & refrigerator. She was very patient, answered all our questions, and helped us to find the best deals for what we wanted. Highly recommend this Home Depot!

I will never shop at the Allen location again.The store is located at the bottom of a hill meaning the shopping carts that are left in the parking often roll down the parking lot and hit parked cars.This happened to me. I reported it to the manager bc I thought a couple getting in their car might have done it.Home Depot had their insurance company look in to it.. When they called me back to tell me they are not responsible. They also told me they couldnt really see anything on the camera. Which is all fine. I dont really see them as being responsible except for knowing their parking lot is on a hill and should keep the lot clean of carts.
It was great! Knowing that Lowes is promoting a form of CRT Ill never shop there again.

The only about this HD is that I always seems to find no stock and always running out of inventory. So I end up going to the Plano location by US75.

Looked up items online to see location (aisle and bay provided for in stockItems) walked straight to what I needed took to self checkout paid and was back in truck in less than 10 minutes. So much easier knowing exact location. Home Depot is not a good place for me to wander around searching I get sidetracked and lose track of time.
I purchased a 4000 Samsung refrigerator and Home Depot delivered it damaged in March of 2021. It is now almost July and no one will replace it orEven call us back. Dents allOver front and back. They keep giving us the run around. I just don’t get how they can get away with this. I want my refrigerator replaced and working. We have called for months and nothing.

I went today morning in this location to exchange a bulb that I bought yesterday. Mr. Charles came in to help me to find the right bulb. He stayed with me the whole time, until I found something that will help me most. also, he took to me to another aisle and recommended me an adapter, so I can have the option to use regular bulb to that lamp as well. he was very courteous, friendly and professional. Mr. Charles has provided an outstanding customer experience. Thank you Home depot for always being very helpful and friendly.
Good selection (better than Lowes). Staff seldom available to ask questions; if you see a clerk in the aisle, they usually have tunnel vision unless you ask them to help. They do require face masks still, abiding by federal guidelines to protect you customers and employees.
The employees are always too busy with their daily tasks to offer to help. I literally had 2 employees walk away from me after I had stood there for 3 minutes waiting for them to stop yacking. That has been the standard treatment and attitudes for years, in my experience. The Lowes/Home Depot monopoly is real and they truly treat you like it. This is treatment Ive received in all stores. Im not saying the big orange/blue boxes dont have good people working for them, Im saying the floor employees always have too many other priorities in their day and are treated too poorly to have any interest in giving good customer service. If you can buy anything anywhere else, do it.
They pretty much have anything and everything that you would want. The biggest problem is that its difficult to find things. The good news is that if you ask the wonderful sales people for help they are more than happy to help you find whatever you need. Also, a quick way to find something that you are looking for is to look it up on the Home Depot website. It will then gives you a aisle and Bin number to look for whatever it is that you are looking for at the store that youre at.
This very specific store is nothing short of great. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The management staff even is very respectful and knowledgeable. I have been in this store several times and they have gone above and beyond to take care of me. I have never seen a Home Depot ran like this specific store. There is a Home Depot about 5 to 10 minutes closer to me that I could go to but I will not, I will continue to drive the extra time just to come to this specific store. Thank you to all the staff and whomever is responsible for the great customer service.

Even though they have a sign requiring masks, they dont necessarily do much to try and enforce it - there were numerous individuals walking around with no mask in sight.That said, the inventory is plentiful and the employees are very helpful when it comes to finding what you need.

I had a frustrating problem with my online order, and the manager on duty, Mat, resolved it. He listens, has excellent attention to detail and makes a big box store feel like a neighborhood store. Becky was also helpful during the first part of this ordeal.
Went to paint today. Got 7 gallons of various colors. John was quick and helpful. Quite happy with the trip.
My wife and I went to Home Depot to choose paint for our home. We looked at a couple of options and were advised that we could get samples to check out. I purchased the samples and went home. We decided on the color without using the samples so I went back to return the sample paint 30 minutes later. The gentleman at the paint department told me I needed an approval from manager. I asked customer service and they said I needed an approval from people at paint. They asked a manager and apparently the manager didnt budge even though I was purchasing 5 gallons. The samples were never opened. I was never told I couldnt return the samples. It seemed like nobody wanted to take charge or help. The people at customer service were more interested in talking to themselves.
Service could use attention. Lots of confusion but they often go off on their employees and start arguing in front of the customers. So they loose lots of credit here.

Everyone was GREAT! Couldn’t find dollys, and Home Depot employee walked me out to garden center & showed me where they were. The cashier, Peggy, was so friendly, smiling, laughing. Made me forget we are living in a pandemic! A young man, employee, helped me decide on a garden hose reel. Great experience!
Been a while since I’ve had issues with customer service, but this has been a notable complaint. We went through the store and found what we wanted. We go to check out and are caught off guard by gibberish garbage, acting like we don’t speak English. I can’t even articulate what was said to me because it sounded like how one would encourage a donkey to move out of the way. Great store but consider finding employees with English vocabulary.
Customer service is outstanding! The knight at the door was an exceptionally beautiful person to have assist us with our cart! I would highly recommend this location for his service specifically!
I appreciate ALL Home Depots. I recently moved four times in one summer and to a different towns/city each time. Im glad that Home Depot was in or near in each town.
Review is for HD extended warrenty issues not the brick and mortar store.Good luck entering or viewing your receipt for an extended warranty. This should be something easily done from your account while in app.In this day and age it is presumed the difficulty of this process is intended.As of 4.01.21 you may need to take a picture of your receipt and send it to Allstate via text message.Its stated you will not be able to see your receipt but not to worry it will be there if ever needed.This leaves nothing tangible for you see.It was such a pleasure and very easy when you could pick the receipt from a list and add it to your extended warrenty record from your Home Depot account.Allstate suggest to keep your receipt next to the item.REALLY?This could be 5 years!I despise the complexity and believe the intentional out of sight out of mind in hopes people just forget.Why else would they go from finally having a system that shows the customer they want you to know they are there for you if you need them and it will be hassle free back to the antiquated way of we cant find anything on it blah blah blah.
There always friendly and ask if they can help you They let me return my self-propelled Honda lawn mower when the belt burn up after two weeks i’ve since learned there is an adjustment on the handle to tighten the belt so if you smell rubber burning stop using yourself self drive until you tighten the belt
I was surprised to find out that if you buy a pallet of flooring, you can only return full pallets. I had purchased 3 pallets with 30 cases of flooring per pallet, I had 17 cases leftover. They would only give in store credit...at the cheapest price they had sold the item for...about $60 less than I paid for the flooring. While the workers are very nice, I felt like I was taken advantage of.

Excellent! I used curbside no contact pickup, instructions were followed to the letter, will use curbside pickup at this location again! Taylor was very polite and respectful, she instructed the crew who brought my pave stones to my trunk with extra plastic just like I asked, crew was on point, a big thumbs up!

Very low on stock throughout the store. Couldnt get 6 items on my list of 10.I get a few items as they were just of stock/sold out but most showed in stock on the app and had simply not been pulled down from above. Staff was present but seemed to be too busy listening to earbuds or talking amongst themselves, and didnt even look my direction despite me asking for help.Look to the Wylie store for a 5 star experience.

This is the best place to get your random outdoor items or even a project. I recommend it because they provide a great selection and variety for whatever it is that you may need/want.
Same problem at this store, poor custom service, it must be in the training, cause to go to different store and get the same poor service takes skill, you must have a lets teach poor service class- your doing great job at poor service is there a master class?

Very helpful staff. I came in with a water filter needing some reducers and the staff helped me find them quickly.
Curbside pickup is a no go. Waited 30 minutes for my item and then finally went in. Oh yeah, it hasnt worked all day. Maybe post a sign in the pickup area or turn off that option? Just a thought.
I simply asked for help in getting a hanging plant off the rod that was raised above other plants. The clerk questioned my need for help indicating I could handle this on my own. She was right next to the area only having to walk about 8 steps. She then climbed on the table to get the plant and told me I could have done that myself.
Got plumbing piece i needed and a couple cull lumber pieces that will work for a little project Im going to do.

OK, bright spot that I must mention: CARLOS! This guy works in plumbing and he is GOLD, I tell you! Knowledgeable, helpful, courteous...Home Depot, give him a raise. Best service Ive had in years. Ive had dumbfounded looks on some of the faces of the old folks here that I wish would just find a different line of employment and while I feel for them in this day and age when our country requires the elderly to go back to work to survive...I digress.

Tired to get a paint color. Chipped off a piece of the wall so I would have a piece to show them. They mixed it, lost it, and lost chip. Their attitude was so what? I had to call manager and he sent someone to make me another one. The girl attending the paint area made it clear she didnt care and acted like she hadnt waited on me. The guy who went to mix it used the wrong paint. I just left. Too many places to go where they are friendly and want to help the customer. I gave them 2 stars and Loews has more selection. She said she saved the chip but I saw her throw it in the trash as I went to finish shpping. She lied. I didnt buy anything there. Ill get it somewhere else.

This branch, has the worse customer service, and always short in people.Items all over the place,I tried to use less this branch, than the other ones around.

I love the home depot, the paint desk and plant section are better than the competition.
Good store but they wouldn’t match the price on an Echo edger that a brick n mortar store down the road sold for $50 dollars cheaper. I went to the Home Depot on Central in Plano and they matched the price without hesitation.
Assortment of different bit drivers had a bunch of empty slots but other than that no complaints

Had 2 workers find a very hidden item i was looking for. They were not familiar with the item i needed but knew about where it was located. We found it and i was able to show them this neat kitchen gadget.
To be honest this is my most favorite place in the entire area, just love that store!The employees are friendly and most are very knowledgable and provide guidance for any project i had in mind.I don’t like couple of the guys at the paint department who always have opposite attitude to the rest of the employees but even they couldn’t make me take a star off, simply best store i ever visited!
Chris in gardening was extremely sweet today. He was helpful when it came towards purchasing gloves for a smaller size hand that were almost impossible to find. Probably the best employee of encountered here over the past 10 years I’ve been here.
I have been shopping this Home Depot for 20 years and have consistent good experiences. They are knowledgeable and courteous and are helpful in steering me in another direction if they can’t help me solve my issue. I have conversations with many of their associates (including Steven the manager), many of whom have been there for most of the time that I have shopped there. The store is easy to shop, generally always has what I am looking for, and has helpful and attentive staff.

This store fails consistently in customer service. This was my second poor experience here. Staff cant be botherd to say please or thank you. When challenged, staff reply was I say it a 1000 times a day. Well 1001 wont kill you.Spend your money across the street at Lowes, much better customer service.
Store is well stocked employees however are not knowledgeable, and store just seams unappealing (dark, messy, dated,) the alternative is lowes across the street but expect to pay a bit more for your items. Although I have found very good deals at lowes at times.
