Love the new Self checkout. I love and only use Self scan.... Thank you Thank you... :) Store is clean, instock and staff friendly. The only complaint is be sure to check dates as I have taken some items home that had expired. Thanks. :)

We stopped in for a can of pizza dough. Walked out with $30 worth of groceries!The flowers were beautiful, produce & meat all looked very fresh! My red grapes I bought are teasing me and I’m just thinking about them!The store was well stocked, spacious and well organized. The store gleamed!Our cashier, Stacy, was friendly and helpful and we signed up for loyalty card in a snap!!Best part of my trip was the 40cent peppermint chips I found (I haven’t been able to find them all Christmas season in any brand) and the 70cent maple pecan coffee I bought to take home for my folks!

Good selection and friendly folks, but they now offer ONLY self-checkout.I dont want to go shopping at the end of a long day and then have to work as a cashier. Not cool.

Clean store. Staff is not very attentive and tend to congregate. If you are trying g to save money, do your homework. Get the flyer and dont be afraid to buy items at another store. Meat is outrageous unless its on sale.

So easy to access, fully stocked and not too crowded. So many selections, organized, and clean! They also have a Quest Diagnostic inside ... so convenient!

Good store, very well organized and clean, shelves are stocked and neat, produce is of good quality, and all of it looks fresh and edible. Still slightly higher prices than other stores even with the rewards card. Still I prefer the quality of food items over the slight price difference.

Convenient and close by. Open until late and delicious bakery items to quench your midnight cravings. Produce is a hit and miss.

They post deals on their app and then delete them when you go to use them. Sounds like a scam. I have been a Albertsons/Tom Thomb customer for over 20 years but no more. Thank goodness HEB is coming to are area I will gladly drive to use a reputable grocery. I did contact the local store and called corprate office with no help or explanation from either place.

I was searching the web, Amazon trying to find Gladiolus for my mom for mothers day. Right before walking into hallmark. I asked and best service ever she had pink different colors and of course white as my mom loves. Such a blessing made my day🥰🙌

I was in the store a couple of weeks ago and Miss Lydia who was in the Deli couldnt have been nicer in helping me out, I havent seen customer service like that from any other store(Kroger). Also the lady in the Bakery was very nice and helpful when I asked about sweet potato pie, I didnt get her name though. Thank you ladies for your great customer service.😃

We always come here. They have fresh items and good service. Today was unexpected. At 8:30am all self checkouts were out of service and only 1 open register with 8-9 customers on the line. No manager on the floor, no rep at the customer service desk. They need to watch out.

I got my safety inspection sticker. So easy to do with Tom Thumb. I picked up a few extra items as well. Good service anf very friendly employees.

I find this location to be one of the nicer Tom Thumbs in the Plano area. They generally have the pretty good produce and lots of variety. Pricing is not bad either. The layout is typical of a grocery store but everything is pretty easy to find with all the isles being labeled. Its also never that crowed at this location. If you have to wait its not more than one person.

I had greAt shopping experience in Tom Thumbs in Alma, staffs there are helpful and nice!

I pass three other grocery stores to get to this location for the hard to find sauces and canned goods.

Only issue I have with this store is the layout. If I need something in Produce and have to run over while at the front, I have to go behind the registers. It makes me feel like I am about to steal or someone will think I am trying to when all I want is a package of rolls I forgot

Nice to shop here, the cleanness is a plus for me especially this time of the year also great customer service.

Charged me $60 some odd dollars for 2 loafs of French bread and a pack of Hawaiian rolls. When all the other bread in the store was sold out. This in the middle of power outages and lack of water. Not to mention the unbearable cold.

Store is clean and the staff are polite and helpful. Couldn’t quite give it 5 stars because I have found coffee beans and beverages on shelves that were past the “best by” date.

Tom Thumb has placed a kiosk called Coinstar (Coinme) in their stores. Its designed as a scam. Its advertised to be a legit Bitcoin purchasing location. This is a lie. They take your money, and will not ever return it. Coinme will not assist in accessing your account. Tom Thumb is directly to blame for not vetting this scam. Tom Thumb is preying on the public. I dont like leaving bad reviews. This is the location Tom Thumb houses the kiosk.

I like this Tom Thumb. Its clean, bright and well laid out with a friendly staff. The thing I really like about it is the self checkout. They have replaced the old (picky fussy) ones with new ones that make self checkout a lot easier.

Picked up a few items and out of there quickly.

The staff was very helpful and quick when I went there for my car registration, however the 4 staff members I saw were all wearing their masks beneath their nose. A lot of folks like me are high risk and greatly appreciate the use of masks and often make determinations on where we can go based on this. I’m hoping management will encourage the correct usage of masks during the pandemic so more high risk people can safely visit the store. Thanks in advance.

This Supermarket has many offerings such as a Deli counter and Bakery. Butcher shop and the produce area look inviting and you can special request your cake or cut of meat. So many things to pick and choose from. The Floral area is by far my favorite. Fresh cut flowers are beautiful and the arrangements are gorgeous. You can truly spend a little more time than usual at this place. Check it out you wont be sorry. Lots of variety and assortment to make it an enjoyable shopping experience. Staff is totally helpful and friendly and will help you in any way they can. My favorite place to shop.👏👏

DO NOT USE THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM!! EVEN THE STAFF SAYS ITS NOT ACCURATE. IF YOU NEED A MEDICATION, CALL AND SPEAK TO A PERSON. YOU NEED TO CALL A FEW DAYS IN ADVANCE TO LET THEM KNOW YOU WILL BE NEEDING YOUR MEDICATION EVEN THOUGH YOU GET IT FILLED EVERY MONTH BC THEY DO NOT STOCK ENOUGH MEDICATION TO EXPECT A REFILL TO BE DONE. I GAVE THEM FROM FRIDAY TO SUNDAY AND THEY HAD NONE OF MY MEDICATION. THEY CALLED THE OTHER STORE WHO HAD A COUPLE OF PILLS BUT THEY DONT ‘LOAN’. SO, I WAS SCREWED ON GETTING MY MEDICATION I TAKE EVERY DAY!! WHO MANAGES ORDERING STOCK IN THIS PLACE. THE OTHER PHARMACIES IN TOWN ARENT MUCH BETTER. I WISH I DIDNT NEED ANY MEDICATION. SO NOW ON SUNDAY ITS UP TO ME TO CALL EVERYWHERE TO FIND A PHARMACY WHO CARRIES MY MEDICATION. THIS IS A VERY COMMON MEDICINE USED BY MANY PEOPLE DAILY. NOT A RARE MEDICATION!!!!!

Went shopping at this location Friday after work, and while I’m getting my goods, I see a customer walking around gathering groceries without a mask. There is NO ACCEPTABLE EXCUSE for this. Wear a freakin’ mask, and ENFORCE your policies. I’m not shopping at a place that makes no effort to protect its customers.

I went there last night and I couldnt find tajin so I asked a girl who worked there for help. She was amazing. She looked all over for it and asked multiple people. They ended up not having it but it was amazing customer service and it was super sweet of her to help me look as hard as she did.

I️ live very close by and sometimes it’s just convenient to stop in. Unfortunately the service is pretty crappy and expiration dates are always near or passed, and while sometimes you can get some good produce, oftentimes i will find a cluster of mold in the middle of my bag of oranges of berry containers. Today I️ waited a good 15 minutes at the bakery counter for a cake for my daughter inside their behind the counter case. There was no price on it (it was tucked underneath) so I️ had no idea what I️ was getting myself into and my 4 year old was set on this cake for her birthday tonight. After someone from another department came over and gives me the cake all packaged up, I️ discover it’s $12.99 for this puny little cake the size of 2 cupcakes, but we’ve already wasted so much time so I️ just got it anyway. Turned out very bland and dry, the decorative edging was cracking in a not natural way that indicated to me it was quite old. I️ added some sprinkles at home because it looked pretty boring. Won’t be returning for cakes for sure. And check expiration dates and produce thoroughly!Also not this time, but a few times, checking out has been a less than mediocre experience.

Tom Thumb grocery store is alright. That particular store is very clean and they have a big variety of food items there. I dont go that often because its really out of my way. I was just there because I was running errands on that side of town. Their produce looks really fresh and their meat selections are equally nice. The cashier was really friendly because I didnt have a discount card but he used one at the register anyway for me and saved me money.

Produce young men wasnt helpful at all he said he was going to bring out more sweet corns so I went on and did the rest of my shopping came back to the produce section and still no sweet corn around. He was stocking up on watermelons which was already pretty full and well over stocked. I passed by him and he didnt even said anything to me.

One of the cleanest stores in Allen. Good produce and wonderful bakery. Very good meat selections... .always fresh.They need MORE self check out stations. The process is slow, especially if busy.

Fruits and veggies are among the best in the area. I especially like the cheap bananas in a bag (I freeze and use for smoothies), which I cannot find in other grocery stores. Central Market and Whole Foods does have slightly better produce, but also higher prices and harder to find common foods, so this Tom Thumb is a good balance for me as a one-stop grocery shopping location.

The store was clean and I was pleased to find some products I like that Kroger does not carry. I will definitely return.

The gentleman that helped me in the deli department was, without a doubt, the best service I have ever received in a grocery setting. He went out of his way to help me even when the deli was closed. I stay loyal to a place when that happens.

Great selection of high quality prepared foods. I dont really do my regular grocery shopping here, but when I am looking to purchase prepared foods for myself or for a gathering, this is my go-to.The store is clean, spacious, and their selection of prepared items runs the gamut from salads and soups, to sandwiches and entrees. Their selection of desserts is massive and tasty!The staff on weekends, the few times I have gone, seem preoccupied or disinterested. The checkout agents were rather dismissive. I now use self checkout so as to not bother with them.Great store, great products. I think I want to go today!
