I had a reservation with U-Haul and this place was running a special for one month free (although theres a $25 admin fee so theres nothing free about it). They said it would include a moving truck for free for the first 30 miles. However, what they did not tell me, is that he moving truck would be located at another location (another 21 miles away). That was frustrating enough, then I go to their other location to get the truck, and it doesnt even have a amp to load/unload, so then I had to reserve a truck last minute from uhaul and drive all the way back home to Frisco from Allen, and then Garland. Complete waste of my time and day. I will never be using this place again. Although they are cheaper than U-Haul, you get what you pay for! Then their district manager gave me a call only to tell me that there was nothing they could do, the audacity! I am not one to complain, so when I take the time to do so, its very reasonable! I will leave it at that! The choice is yours. Dont say I didnt warn you!!!!

Just moved out after 4 years and they have been extremely helpful and easy to work with. There were zero signs of rodent, bugs, etc when we moved our things and swept up. Highly recommended!!

I love this storage facility. My belongings have always been safe, Ive never had to worry about it.The people who run the facility provide excellent service and are very kind.

Kathryn is very rude she was upset that I didn’t like the storage because it is not multi-levels and spoke to me in the most condescending tone and hung up the phone on me. Would not recommend go to extra space storage on greensville rd it’s multiple levels and the customer service is great

Life Storage has been a Life Saver for me! I had been renting storage here for about 5 years, and gradually upgraded my storage space over the years. The staff has always been available, kind & accommodating. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I needed a place to set up a place to workout because the gyms had closed. They immediately upgraded my space to allow for this, and now I see them every day and am getting great workouts. The staff has been hassle-free, courteous, and even supportive! I have a few friends that work out in my storage gym, and the staff is friendly and helpful to them as well. I wave at the front office when coming and going and always see a hand go up to wave back. I can honestly say that when the gym opens back up and we all feel safe to go back there, that I will miss my partners at Life Storage. Thank you guys so much!

Honest storage without pests. No rodent droppings or dead insects on the premises. Management is courteous and accommodating. Want to store in a safe location with clean facilities. Life Storage in Allen is a sure bet. Michael.

Good prices and spacious storage units

Needed a storage room ASAP. Called around and found this place. I work out of town and was glad to hear they allow online payments. Application was basically painless, but the lady working there answered my questions. Location is a little out of the way from where I was hoping to find one but the service could not be beat.If you are looking for a storage place that has great protection and online bill pay, this is your place.

Place is amazing!!! Staff went above and beyond to make sure my unit was ready when i needed it. I was in a hurry due to some life issues and the staff here was absolutely on point. I could not have had a better experience with a storage company!!!

Awesome customer service and interaction on phone and in person! Did not have a problem getting me in quickly. Life Storage team was fun friendly and informative when I had questions!I called/online to find a place that would not charge outrageous storage fees since I only needed it for 1 month plus a week, everyone wanted to charge me a full month for that week and other fees. Life Storage gave me the 2nd month free and waived the $25 fee!Great job, thank you!!!

They installed an electrical sign on our unit without a permit or inspection from the city. There were three holes that leaked water into the unit. Water plus electricity, GREAT! Damaged property that State Farm doesnt cover because it was an improperly installed sign by a subcontractor. Several months later, sign still leaking. When speaking to the Area Manager he constantly cut my wife off and berated her on the phone and referred her to the corporate legal team. Gave her no phone number or names. I could go on, but you get the point. My wife left a review, which somehow they keep getting Google to disappear. Well work on that.

We have had a gr8 experience with both owners. The new owners were able to solve our auto pay issues and were always helpful.

Everything was great until I got charged for a month that I wasnt storing my stuff there. I filled out the paperwork and I still have not received a refund and it has been almost 2 months.

During a global pandemic this place is still charging late fees and threatening to put a lien on folks storage prime example of a company that doesnt get it SMH...

This is a horrible place to store your items in. Read the contract!! You have zero rights. They can do basically whatever they want to your unit with no consequences. I had such a bad experience with them, I will write bad reviews about them till I die.
