I came on Monday the 25th for an oil and filter change, he told me that he could not attend me that I had to make an appointment, it was scheduled for today 1 Nov at 2:30, I have been here since 2:12 and it is 2: 50 have the doors closed and there are several cars outside but they do not open the door to serve me

I was on my way to Scranton for work and my low tire pressure light came on while on the NE Extension. Not a good sign. Fortunately, I was near a rest stop to put air in the tire. However, that wasnt going to work without the tire being plugged. I looked up the closest tire shop and Monro was the place. I stopped in near the end of their day and they had me up and running in no time. I greatly appreciate their effort to help me. Folks, these are the places we want to take our car to for maintenance. Good work and good people!

I went here for a brake issue. I mainly spoke with Darrell and they went above and beyond to make sure my car was safe and good to drive before leaving. There were some minor set backs but they were very detailed in making sure the problems that came up were fixed and told me everything along the way. Thank you so much!!

I went for an inspection and oil change last week. One of the workers named A.G. quoted me a price about 743.00 to pass inspection. Saying I needed new brakes, control arms, and a wheel alignment. I have a 2015 Nissan Rogue, no issues all year so I took it to another shop, and they told me my brakes were fine and I passed my inspection. There was nothing wrong with my vehicle, they saw a single woman and thought they would hustle me. Such a shame! Never going back there again!

Made an online appointment which didnt show up in their system. They said they could fit me in for a quick oil change. 1.5 hrs later it was done. Tried to charge me $50 for. Standard oil change but I saw online on the monroe site oil change is $30 until 4/1/21. When I showed them then they gave me the correct price. Becareful here to not get overcharged

Manager is pretty knowledgeable and the service is snappy. Even if you have to wait for your cars work to be done, rest assured itll be done correctly and problem free.

I enjoy coming to this shop. Darryl is one of the best mechanics I’ve ever encountered he does not do shotty work he always Does a great job no matter what I ask him to do he always takes care of it at no extra cost I recommend this Shop to anybody who wants an honest person working on their vehicle. I send everyone I know that has an issue with their vehicle to Darryl because I know he’ll take care of them.

Went to the shop to get front pads installed on my car and found out I needed rotors too. Daryl explained very thoroughly and answered all my questions. Couldnt be happier with the work.

I came in with almost no advance notice with a screw in my rear passenger tire. Darrell, the manager was very kind, calm, and understanding. He put my car on the lift right away and fixed it immediately. He communicated additional parts on the car he noticed will inevitably need work but did not pressure me to do it on the spot or make an appointment. I will certainly be back for subsequent service for my vehicle.

I had a flat tire while I was at work and they were not only able to take it on my lunch break and plug it but I also had it back by the end of day! So grateful they could take care of it so quickly and inexpensively!! Theyre also very polite.

Editing my review:1 star because I started having problems after my oil change!!I’ve been living here in Allentown for the summer, and I need to get my oil change before I drove 800 miles back to Tennessee.About 60 miles in, the oil light came on. My car engine started making a strange noise. I stopped at a truck stop and checked my oil. The oil tank was empty and my car was leaking oil!!! I have no idea what these people did, but I am going to call them first thing in the morning. This is highly unacceptable and I do not recommend anyone coming here

Great service! They try to figure if ur covered for the work before starting it, theyll give educated rough estimates to give an idea of how much something costs prior to looking at it. Dude gave me like 6 different case scenarios and the amounts they would run for my pockets for my vehicle. Amazing! They also have plugged in the data do-hicky thingamabob down under the steering wheel where the safe driver discount thingy goes to see whats wrong with my car and didnt charge me a dime to do that like other places do. Good people serving humanity with kindness!

Snowing out and needed plug due to spare tire issue. Service was quick. Had emissions and oil change done as well and no complaints.

I made an online appt and when I arrived everything was smooth and professional. My state inspection was done in an hour and all issues that needed resolving was clearly identified. No Hassel and no pressure. I will definitely keep coming back to this location.

I use to have such great experiences here but then I realized any time I got an oil change or inspection or brakes there was ALWAYS new workers and never a same face. I also tried to bring them business and got another family member to set up an appt but when she showed up for her appt they never had it written down. And didn’t offer to squeeze her in. I called a couple days after I got my inspection done and left a voicemail and NEVER got a call back. So I took my car to another shop right next to Monro’s and got my car fixed for almost HALF what Monro’s quoted me. I been going to Monro’s for over two years and got my sister and girlfriend to go there also. After not returning my phone call this last time and getting my car fixed for HALF of what they quoted I will not be back and either will my family members.

So far a great experience. My brand new tire blew up in the middle of the highway. Tire manufacturer sent me to Monroe to inspect a tire and verify that it was a a defective one. Monroe manager made it and easy process and got me on the road as quickly as possible. Thank you guys. It is truly appreciated.

Monro on Lehigh St. in Allentown never fails to provide me with great service. They worked on my car at the time of the appointment and were easy to do business with. I even had a slow leak in my tire and they saw that it was a nail. So a very simple fix. I recommend anyone to get their work done here.

Left my car there about 5 or 6 weeks ago. Told them there was a loud noise when driving between 40 and 60 mph. They call me up and tell me it’s my muffler. I have dual exhaust. They tell me usually we take out the whole pipe but we can weld this muffler for you to save you money. Only 500 dollars. I immediately noticed the problem was not solved. Honestly don’t think i needed a muffler at all. Went to a family friend and he told me I needed passenger and driver control arms. Doubt this place even did any diagnosis. Very disappointed in the effort and waste of money.

Josh and Gil do their absolute best every day while only being a two man crew. The fact they can still handle as many people as I can see go in and out of the door in the short time I’m there is amazing. It’s kinda upsetting though they can’t get the equipment they need (I asked if they could do a press in wheel bearing but their machine was stolen.) either way, they are the best crew of two I could ever ask for!

I went into the Lehigh street shop for an oil change, inspection and emissions stickers. The service was great! I was treated with respect, and the service was done right and in a timely manner. The manager there greeted me and went over the work done and answered all of my questions. I was very pleased with my experience. I will definitely be a repeat customer at this location!

Veryyyyyy over priced and in my experience the other day...very dishonest. i had noticed that my tire was running low with air. Stopped by and parked my work truck in their parking lot and they said they were going to get to it that day. I told them it was very important I needed it for work the next day. They waited almost til closing to tell me that I had a bunch of little holes in my tire and absolutely needed a new tire. For a new tire they wanted $350. Didnt sound right so i told them to not worry about it. Called Mavis up the street and they told me $250 for the same tire. I then decided to go to my dealer in Hellertown PA a couple of days later since it was a slow leak. My dealer told me there was a nail and they patched it for free. Had to get my oil and inspection done anyways. Monro never even looked at my tire that day because the nail was hard to miss. Just trying to scam...Ill never go here again

Terrible terrible customer service I called this past Friday to set up and oil change for my girlfriend, after the one on Broadway was booked for todays appointments. I had an appointment for today at 9am my girlfriend shows up they say “nope we don’t have his or your name down on the paper” how is that possible after just speaking to someone on Monday. I will never go there again

Chris greeted me at the front counter from atop a majestic stallion. After indicating the work I would like done, my car was moved into the garage for said work. Chris rode out and using the power of Thors hammer, summoned one of his mechanics to complete the work. The mechanic moved like a thing possessed to complete the work. Shortly after, the work complete, Chris again rode out to my car. He lifted it and hand fed it a bottle of fresh engine oil. Chris then set the car down in a parking spot, rung me up at the front counter, and handed me my keys. As I left, I looked back to see the stallion rear up on its hind legs as Chris summoned lightning using Mjölnir. It was amazing. My car has been running fine since I visited his shop.

Our family of cars have been going to Monroe specifically for their impeccable service and have actually driven to shops not near our house knowing we will get the same service every time. We have been coming here for years even though we now live 15-20 minutes away. The staff is professional and timely. They have never disappointed us in the ten years we have been getting oil changes at this location!

Went here after being told repairs would be well over $1000 dollars at midas. When I came here they told me everything I needed to repair. The prices where cheaper and they even broke it into parts that made it more manageable. They even told me what I should prioritize when repairing. I also appreciate how they showed me simulations as they explained things to me since I dont know much about cars it was a good experience for me. I would go back again. Even the oil change was a great price ($20) including labor. Highly recommended, ask for Chris when you go. Hell definitely be able to help you out :)

These guys are great. Ive been coming here for about 2 years straight for 2 different cars. Ive no reason to go anywhere else. Im always in and out and theyve worked with me when I had issues on my trouble car. Fair prices and honest work.

Was drawn in by the oil change prices and what was supposed to a 30 dollar oil change turned into an 80 dollar charge for replacing an air filter, which I agree to before I heard how outrageous the price was. Then they offered a quick look at what my car would need done to pass inspection and I got a ridiculous 700 dollar amount for a job I knew was not anywhere near that amount. Almost 100 dollars to scan my car with the computer for error codes!!! Autozone does that for free! I understand people need to support their businesses but this is ridiculous to take advantage of people. Thankfully I knew the prices were a load of BS so I went to my preferred auto body shop for the job and needless to say it all got done in the same day at a quarter of the price.
