I was in Mount Pleasant camping and noticed a nail in my tire. I used the online appointment scheduling late on a Saturday night to schedule an appointment for when they opened on Monday. They confirmed my appointment early Monday morning and got me in at my first requested time. I was in and out in less than a half hour. Everyone was super friendly too.

Exceptional service. Needed an innertube for a riding lawn mower tire. Walked in they took the tire, 20 minutes later I was on my way home to mow my lawn.

Dont know what they are talking about tried to convince my wife that there was alot of problems with our vehicle that werent wrong. I have had it looked at by other machanics and three other machanics said the same problem with the vehicle but they didnt have big enough equipment for my truck. I would not take any vehicle to them. The only reason I gave them one star was that was the lowest I could.

On 2/22/14 a friend and I drove 5.5 hours North to Alma MI to attend a memorial service for a beloved friend. After the service and luncheon, my car would not go from park to put it in gear. It literally would not move. I alerted one of the men attending the service who alerted another person, who alerted someone from Alma tire ( I wish I would have taken names, but I was too tired from poor sleep on a hard motel mattress from the night before and the emotion of the memorial service). Alma Tire had already closed on this Saturday, but lo and behold, someone showed up, then took my car back to the garage (already closed), and then they fixed my car so that we were able to drive home that night. The kindness and professionalism that was shown that day, will never be forgotten.Thank you,Susan B Coleman

I am a young women who is not very car savvy, so finding a place to take my car in a city I havent before is always a challenge. I was calling around to get a rough time and cost estimate and to see how reputable places were when I called Alma Tire Service.Not only was the worker rude, he refused to even talk about my car until I made an appointment, while I understand no place can truly get a good estimate until the car is there, his unwillingness to help, and refusal to do anything until he made money was abhorrent.But!! If youre in the area Dagwood Auto Repair is who I ended taking it to. They were very friendly, and gave me a few different time and price guesstimates, while clarifying it may not be exact.Tl;dr: Alma Tire Service is money hungry jackasses. Take your car somewhere else

I took my car knowing it was old and had rust issues however,they refused to work on my brake line because of rust issues all I can say is wow! (Must have not been a new enough car for them to make a bunch of money on) I took my car to J and J Standards and they fixed my brake lines with no problems and no questions asked! Thank you for them and I will never take a vehicle to Alma Tire again.
