The AT&T store in Alvin is an excellent wireless communication store. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable. This location was very clean. The place wasn’t crowded with customers. I was able to get in and out. Of course the Apple accessories are expensive. I updated my wireless plan. Every question i asked, the employee answered. They explained and broke everything down to me. I would recommend visiting this AT&T location.

If they offer something for free at no extra charge. It’s a lie nothing is free. We got 2 simple iPhone upgrades and paid 200$ in taxes on the phones and our phone bill was 550$ the month after because they said we got the phone upgrades at the end of the month. On top of that they also said the free hot spot they where providing us was going to be free. It was an extra 50$ a month, I had to call to get it removed. Att in Alvin is worthless👎🏼

Customers having issues? Glare at them menacingly instead of greeting them when they arrive, eavesdrop when the customer explains his case to the worker who cared to provide service when you didnt, then act upset that the system is broke and your customer is making your life a living hell by requiring assistance! Thanks a bunch, human service representatives.

Went in to the Alvin AT&T store to get my in-laws phone working. Sat down with a guy named Donnie. He was very knowledgeable about how to fix the phone. Got it in no time. Then he figured out how to get my phone back to working normal. He deserves a raise. Ive taken the phone to other people and they couldnt fix it. Thank you again, Donnie. You do deserve a raise.

This store is a joke. I went in a few months ago to upgrade my phone. A young women helped me with getting the phone I wanted. She told me she could save me some money by changing my group plan to a newer plan. Under this said plan I would receive hotspot on all lines and a sim card that i could place in a tablet or old phone just for hotspot. I asked is it free! Well a couple months later I noticed that my bill was 50 bucks higher so I researched it and found that for 3 months I was paying 50 bucks a month for a line I never wanted or even used. I first tried to go to the store and talk to the mgr, none were there so the guy I talked to couldnt bother to look up my account or even get out of chair to address me he just told me I would have to call customer service. When I called them they were helpfull and cancelled the line for me but said I would have to get refund from the location I purchased from. Fast forward a month later after 5 trips to the store and a phone call nothing has been done. When I talked to the G.M of the location he acted as though he was never informed. The assistant gm is tellling me that the district manager has go refund it. Either way customer service at this location is terrible. They will lie and mislead to make $.

I don’t normally write bad reviews unless something is so messed up that I feel that I need to warn others, hence this review. I guess the closest comparison that I can relate to this place is a used car salesman in the 70’s. When I went to upgrade my phones, I was told that I needed to open 2 new lines to do that, but that I wouldn’t be charged. Well, $400 extra charges later, I had to pay off the very high remainder of the phones just so that they would stop charging me for the lines that I had never used, and was told that I wouldn’t be charged for. Needless to say I am pursuing this through the AT&T fraud department. It is a shame that some people can’t do the right thing anymore. FYI, the store management is aware of this and the assistant manager told me face to face that he gets “1000’s (his words, not mine) of these complaints. They still decide to do nothing about this.

Everyone is fine there except for one worker/manager and I never have issues. I came in twice because of an issue and my dad was gonna go through the same thing because we went twice so I KNOW what needs to be done and telling me to calm down SO LOUD that people have to hear you say it.. IS DISRESPECTFUL. Because in the end, they WERE gonna mess it up until I pointed out the issue and telling me you got it but really dont, I think the worker needs to be more patient and understanding of what the customer is trying to tell them.

Jzach was a delight as well was the whole store. When I came in everyone working including the manager helped me as I was the only person in store. Left with my bill dropping a little bit and a new phone. Definitely recommend Jzach and the Alvin ATT.

At&t was so good to me I dont even know where to start! The manager Romi was so good to us! He gave us great deals and great customer service I wouldnt go anywhere else again. E helped me understand my lines and devices I was very satisfied. We also received help from another worker Jz....he helped set up our phones and get them connected and started. He was very helpful, so respectul, and friendly and I will always return to him for any help I may need with my devices!! Loved the 2 of them and Ill defend be coming back!!

Louis! He was such a wonderful help to me as I made the switch from Sprint/T-Mobile to AT&T. He worked hard for over an hour so that I could keep my number. If you ever need to go in the store for assistance do yourself a favor and ask for him. He will do what it takes!

This guy named Cam was 100 percent on his game and he helped me save so much money bundling my cell phone and Internet together. He knew what he was talking about and there wasn’t one question he couldn’t answer. If you have a bad taste from this store from a previous experience, it’s probably because you didn’t get helped by Cam. This store is great..he gave me his full attention regardless of the store hours and was absolutely dedicated to representing AT&T as the absolute best in wireless and internet service. 10/10 would recommend to my friends (ask for Cam)

Just would like to thank the store manager Jon, who just got me and my family new phones for the new year, this gentleman has just done something that 3 major stores from other companies could not nor would mot do for us,He saved us money, for starters, and helped us pick out the right plans for all of our new phones. Some of the employees are not knowledgeable and rude, they get upset if you dont buy the phones from them. I took a phone to get it set up and they refused to do it. this company is expensive, the lease they can do is provide you with a good service.

The one person in the store was to busy playing on their phone. Barely looked at us. Didnt bother to activate a new Sim card. Then by attitude, gestures, and words said he wouldnt help us. Thankfully when you call att they know what customer service is, and they took care of us!

My wife and I went there yesterday, had to pay bill an renew year plan. Mo was most helpful, he was able to get us new nice phones that fit our needs. Mo went above and beyond with great customer service and even saved us money, we very happy an highly recommend or we wouldnt of renewed, an he even told me how we can save money with net an cable, an we will be back next payday to have Mo sign us up. Thanks again cant wait to do business there again.

Would leave zero stars, but it wasn’t an option. I called to have internet hooked up my new place. First they told me they had it for my area, then they told me about a cable/internet package deal that they were having. Went ahead a did the package deal. Paid $240 for a “down payment”. Waited 5 days, they canceled my 1st appointment for the technician to come out, then here comes Monday for them to tell me they canceled my appointment AGAIN. I called customer service.. Come to find out they don’t even offer it for where I live. Will never to business with them again, and I DEFINITELY do not recommend this store. Switched to Xfinity immediately I HIGHLY recommend them.

My phone suddenly lost all my carrier settings & service for 5 daya I tried everything connected to wifi hoping i could at least make a call to AT&T or go online for help no can do, so i went to the retail store & 3 different employees couldnt figure it out took my sim card out & said it was outta date gave me a new 1 went online & added it to my account & still no phone service told me to go home connect to WiFi & do update to see if that worked & nothing i got to reading & dble checking the settings moved my sim card to slot 2 & phone started working. I think i should get a credit for days without service but its not worth sitting on hold for 30mins plus to plead my case. I think it is time to find a more reliable provider with better customer service & appreciatoon for their paying customers ! Did i mention i have the poorest signal & internet connection so i have to connect to my home wifi so i can get online wuthout it buffering or losing connection & webpage cant load always getting message please check your internet & try again What exactly am i paying for AT&T

I have been using your service for years. Yesterday I had no service for no reason the phone would not connect to the Wi-Fi I could not call 611 I went into town to the store at the store I had good reception that tells me one of three things you have a tower down you are cutting back service on prepay or your cutting back service on 4G trying to force people over on to 5G the person I talk to at your AT&T store was of absolutely no help had no interest in helping put a little effort and to helping. Tomorrow is Monday the Verizon store will be open and I will go see what they have on prepay account right now my phone is useless and I need my phone to work I dont know what youve done but its definitely on your end when I drive down the road the barge start changing right now theyre at zero at my house as I drive closer to town they go up

We had the pleasure of meeting Omar and having him help us with our phones. He was professional, personable and knowledgeable. After we finished our business and went to our car we discovered it wouldnt start. Omar came outside to help us. We just came in to move our phones over to T-Mobile and he still came out in the heat to over assistant with a smile and kindness. AT&T you need more representatives like Omar! The store is very clean and smells nice too.

Tried to add a 2nd line to my existing account and buy a new phone for my wifeApparently, my SSN was entered wrong by ATT) when I originally signed up. So it would not let them add the 2nd line. They could not figure this out. I did, on the phone with ATT, 5 hrs later after talking to 5-6 different people...it was the worst customer service Ive ever experinced...EVER!!! My wife now wants to utilize a different carrier!!!😡

I’d like to leave a review for the Alvin AT&T store I had to come in yesterday and replace my phone and I had to come back again today so they could do a backup for me and I’d like to leave a comment to add that they handled us very well. Dustin the store manager,. Helped us and it was done in a polite and courteous way the store was busy but everybody bent over backwards to help us out and to make our visit in more complete and comfortable .I will be back and I highly recommend AT&T to anybody that needs any kind of service Or cell phone purchase .

The guys here very helpful, Isiah and Dustin ( the manager) went way above to help us, we are in process of moving and traveling back in forth from California to Texas, we decided to cancel our TV and Internet until we get back into our permanent residence. Calling in was not working b/c of a birthdate issue that no one could fix. These guys in the store did amazing and managed to get everything taken care of! Thank you so much!! AVOID this location. I was even told by AT&T Customer Service to avoid going here, apparently this location is a aftermarket retail chain and is not corporately owned. Walked in to replace a sims card for a new phone.. literally 3rd time Ive done it in this month alone. Income Tax=Phone upgrades for the family! Spoke to a short, fat mexican who didnt even know his own login and was using a coworkers, ended up getting me locked out of their system due to incorrect pins and told me I had to go to a different location!? I called customer service and they told me I am authorized on the account and they are not even allowed to ask for any pin numbers, only my ID. Drove to the Pasadena location and was in and out in less than 3 mins. No pin number required. The employees here are not properly trained.

My parents went into the store for help with getting a new screen protector on their iphone8. My mother is 85 soon and my father is 90. The correct screen protector was not available and Dustin (the manager) was no help. There was not another customer in the store...so he should have had plenty of time to help. Not sure what the reason was. My parents have gone to that store many times in the past and there are usually some young people working there that help them with whatever their questions happen to be. I was so upset after talking with my parents (because mom was so upset) that I went into the store. He was not available but I did get his name. This is unacceptable.

Worse customer service by Chris after he sold me the WRONG product for my in home WiFi that over charged me $600. I asked him why he would sell a hot spot for MY HOME WIFI he told me that he didn’t remember selling me the product and he couldn’t fix the problem. This new AT&T location takes poor customer service to a new level. Their manager today named Dustin showed absolutely no initiative to defuse a confusing situation, assist his employee, or more importantly assist a customer in need.We went to go purchase a new phone case and screen. One customer service representative came and found us immediately and was of solid help. However, when he went to run out card their processing system froze up. A statement was billed to us saying the transaction went through, but according to AT&T it was not showing on their side. After waiting through 20 minutes of confusion we were asked to run the card again. Dustin assured us that the previous transaction would be refunded in 3-5 business days, but would need to do it again. As if this wasnt sketchy enough already, we waited 20 more minutes for their system to crash again. Meanwhile Dustin was nowhere to be found and offered no apology. In fact, when asked about the charges Dustin got hostile and talked back to us. Not once were the phrases, I apologize or were very sorry issued from Dustin.Following 40 minutes of waiting and hostile talk back from the manager on duty he sent one of his coworkers to tell us that we couldnt leave with our already purchases equipment. Rather than taking ownership of the situation Dustin showed poor customer service skills and revealed himself to be a coward. Dustin finally intervened when I loudly asked where the manager was and informed us that after being charged twice we could not leave with what we purchased because the statement wont show up on their computer. Basically they wanted us to return when the transaction showed up on their side. We left with nothing and are awaiting two refunds after spending an hour inside of the store for a quick and easy purchase. (So we thought.)Why this place gets 1-star:1. Dustin is a disgraceful manager and should be reprimanded for his customer service skills. As a manager in my own line of work, Ill gladly talk to any AT&T representative about my experience.2. If the internet goes down at your establishment do you not have a backup plan in place or do you just lose all of your sales for an entire day? Telling a customer they cant make a purchase is unacceptable and poor business. We had transactions on our card via electronic billing that said PROCESSED3. When a customer is dealing with a situation, a staff generally apologizes or throws in some sort of gift for their troubles. Dustin preferred to do nothing of this nature, and must reflect on bad business morals from his superiors.In conclusion we will never shop at this location again, and hope the AT&T takes a hard look at who they are using to represent their brand. If Dustin is the best they can do, they are in trouble.

Had an issue signing up for new service online, called the 1-800 number, the lady over the phone undid my order and almost had me lose out on the gift card you get for online ordering...needless to say I was a little frustrated after that. I decided to call this store to see if he could help me out. Ended up making an appointment and he made our switch very easy!!

This new store layout is a terrible idea. My visit went well. I didnt have any issues with my transactions. What I disliked about it was the employees seemed to think they were in a lounge or coffee shop, laughing with customers and sharing stories, being friendly, which is usually a good thing. Customers kept coming into the store and they were piling up FAST. The employee returning from break was very slow and didnt seem concerned with the line of people waiting to be helped. The store floor had boxes piled up, visible to everyone that walked in. There wasnt a very good selection of phone cases either.
