We had a great experience while we were in the process of buying our new expedition (go figure). It was in our contract we got windows tinted and we were informed we would be given a loner while our car was being done. We sat there for two hours and talked to multiple people being nothing but ignored. No one could give me an answer on the vehicle we were supposed to get. They were all honestly rude and the one salesman we got the car from every time I’d try and walk to him and ask he’d pull his phone out and walk away. The only one that finally got me answers and did the best he could is named Trey. I love Ford but needless to say, we won’t be back to this dealership!!!

Was satisfied to begin with. Had to get our vehicle from another dealership. Got the vehicle at 9 at night. We offered to drive back to amarillo and get the vehicle, when they were supposed to deliver it to us. We were rushed to get the vehicle. It didnt get an inspection, We had to come back the next day. We were promised a tank of gad, and that didnt happen. It needed an oil change when we received it, and there was a squealing noise. We made it aware to the sales person and the fiance manager. We called to get the issue resolved, and the manager We spoke to was absolutely rude, we got hung up on. We bought the vehicle August 28th, and we still dont have the paper work on it, or information on the extended warranty we purchased. I have text messages, emails and recordings. They made us feel so good to buy there in the beginning then it all went to hell. Wont be going back there again. Still, we have not had any issues resolved

Trey Farmer recently sold me a new 2022 Hyundai Tucson! I wanted to thank him and the team that helped me purchase a new car after my recent, and pretty serious car accident that I had in my Mazda. I was considering getting a new or used Mazda or possibly other vehicle. I went to many different car lots in Amarillo, and drove some cars I was considering.. This review is specifically regarding the service department. I scheduled an oil change for 10:30am with the expectation of it taking 30-45 minutes. So, I get to the dealership and they tell me that it is going to take 2 hours (ended up taking 3 hours). Well, I needed to be at work at noon, but Im getting ready to go on a road trip so I had no choice but to wait. I needed the oil change before I go. They didnt offer to take me to work and I could pick it up later, either. When I asked, they said it was too far. What is the point of making an appointment if youre not going to honor it? 3 hours for an oil change?!?! With an APPOINTMENT!

One of the worst experiences at a dealership. Went in for a repair and recall, after a “test drive” through the parking lot they tell us and the dealership I bought it from that the break down was not due to the recall. How can you tell what the issue is from not performing an internal inspection of the unit, but instead draw conclusions from your technician’s test drive. Having truck transported elsewhere. Will never return here nor recommend to anyone. Epitome of poor customer service and an absolute scam.

The service department, our sales person, Trey Farmer, & Wacey Williams in the finance department deserve kudos +. They took a difficult situation & saved the day. Our engine gave out on I40 as we were going back to Michigan. The service department Idd the problem & since we were at the end of our lease, Trey found us a new lease vehicle so that we could continue on to Michigan. Were amazed at how quickly they were able to help us & showed real concern for our predicament. They deserve 5 stars all the way & I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new or lease vehicle.

My salesman James Diaz and Landon were great, they had a truck similar but not exactly what I wanted, when I told them what I was wanting they searched and found what I wanted, exactly what I wanted actually and the truck was actually at all star so they went and got it for me, I took it for a drive and loved it. I would like to start by saying that Joel, our salesperson was professional, considerate and honest. Unfortunately the general manager, Tim Turly was none of those and has no business in a management position. We were about to leave when we were unable to come to an agreeable price when Tim Turly came out to stop us and asked what it would take to make it work. We told him and he said done and we shook on it. I signed a paper saying I agreed to the negotiation and signed the Carfax. We left all our information and insurance card so they could start the paperwork and went home to get our checks. I even called our salesperson Joel to ask him to fill the vehicle up while we were gone like he promised and he did. When we got back 30 minutes later we sat and waited. After about 20 minutes or so my husband went to see if there was a problem. Tim Turly finally came out and told us they sold the vehicle to someone else. We later found out they got a better offer than ours so they did not honor our deal. Our salesperson was so upset he quit. We will never do business with this company again.

Im doing a cross-country trip and my check oil light came on or change oil light came on, so I looked it up and found this Ford dealer and since I drive a Lincoln its probably you know I dont trust these oil change places I want it done right. So I called him up and the lady on the phone told me it was right at $45 to do an oil change and a tire rotation I thought well its a little pricey but oil change and tire rotation sounds good. I pulled in there the young man took my information he was very friendly the whole staff was friendly for that matter they took my car they did an oil change took about 45 minutes or so and I was happy about that but they said they did a 99 point inspection, and they didnt give me a copy of the inspection or didnt tell me what they found so that made me pause, so I called him up because it didnt show on the service ticket that I got a tire rotation, and I would think for 50 bucks Id get an oil change and a tire rotation like they said but the person I talk to said that they didnt do a tire rotation and its not done unless its specifically asked for. Well that kind of irritated me that and the fact that I didnt get a copy of the service ticket so I asked him about you know the 99 point inspection and he said oh we dont give those out to customers and if the mechanic sees something theyll tell us and then we explain it to the customer so that makes me wonder if they in fact did anything but the oil change did they do the 99 point inspection did they correct the tire pressures did they check all the other fluids and stuff so in my opinion I know this is a long review I would check carefully before I left the place to make sure everything that you wanted done was done.

I selected one star because zero stars isn’t an option. I made an appointment online at Tri-State Ford of Amarillo to get several things fixed and new tires, along with oil change, balance and rotate, fuel filter, fluids, wiper blades, Blu Def, transfer case, and general maintenance service. Long trip coming up and really needed this list of stuff done.They had my vehicle for 3 days and changed a door seal, which was not on my list. Literally NOTHING on my list was accomplished. Even with a low expectation of customer service- this place is surprisingly well below that. Whoever has trained them has failed. I have been there three times total, and their customer service is consistently abysmal.

Top Notch Service Dept!Cameron was our service tech and Bobby was the mechanic who replaced the DPF. I’ve been buying Ford vehicles for 32 years, worked w/ a lot of service dept across the country. Cameron and Bobby gave me one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Polite and friendly, informative and educational, never once did they make me feel as though I was being condescended to. Service department are crooks. I needed to service my company vehicle while working out of town in Amarillo. Specifically told them I wanted an oil change and a tire rotation. Guy told me no problem. After leaving I noticed my truck had more DEF than when I arrived. I looked over the invoice and noticed they charged me for the DEF. When I called to ask why they did something to my truck I didn’t ask for they said it’s part of the service and next time I need to ask them not to. They are the only dealer I’ve ever been to that charge for things they don’t make you aware of up front. The service lady I talked to was rude and you could tell she has had that conversation multiple times before. Go anywhere else, this place is too crooked.

August 3, 2018 is a day that I will always treasure. The staff at Tri-State Ford here in Amarillo were the model of professionalism. Michael Bishop (sales) made my experience more than enjoyable. Tim Boggs (Finance) was efficient and very through with the financial end of my visit. He not only double checked but triple check the paperwork to ensure every faucet of the deal was complete. Just the opposite of Texas Dodge. The manager kept trying to talk me OUT of the Wrangler I was looking at (the few times he spoke to me) and into a new & MUCH more expensive Mustang. Beautiful car & fun to drive but it cant tow a trailer and there is absolutely NO room for my dogs. My husband kept telling the mgr that he wasnt the one making the decision but he still ignored me. Definitely not a place Ill go back to no matter what they have on the lot or how good the price is.

Came in 01/19/19 and bought a 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid. The experience was marred by shady tactics and outright lies. We came in with financing already and were GUARANTEED theyd be able to beat our current interest rate...GUARANTEED. But what do you know, when we get back to do the actual paperwork its the EXACT SAME rate. Not even .01 less. The exact. Same. Next thing we know, the finance guy is giving us a monthly payment thats MUCH higher than what the salesman quoted us from HIS boss. (his boss had personally written a number out on a sheet of paper and had us sign it to show we were committed to the price) So when we point that out, the guy had the AUDACITY to imply I AM wrong in this case. EVEN THOUGH I have a paper WITH HIS BOSS HANDWRITING ON IT WITH A NUMBER CIRCLED THATS DIFFERENT THAN THE ONE HE HAS. So instead of saying let me get this straightened out and picking up the phone literally sitting on his desk and CALLING HIS BOSS like any professional would, he argues with me. He argued with me until I had to LEAVE HIS OFFICE AND FIND THE SALES GUY I INITIALLY TALKED TO AND BRING HIM BACK THERE to get it sorted out.So not only was I lied to, then called a liar, I had to do someones job for them. Real classy.

Do your research, to get the best deal dont be afraid to walk away it could save you 3k to 6k dollars. Shop around! Amarillo is notorious for low balling your trade and higher prices than Vernon Auto Group/Holiday Auto Group. Go to you local bank ask to see NADA trade value for your trade, have your financing in place so the dealership either will match or beat your local bank or credit unions rate. Happy shopping.

Very professional, helped me with every question I had and broke things down to helped me get a better understanding since it was my first experience buying a new car! Ordered cruise, actually gave me better price than what they quoted. Went back because the low tire pressure light would not go off. They found nail in one tire and fixed for nothing. Will definitely be going back there. Nice to know good customer service is still around. Especially when I am working out of town.
