After shopping around for a vehicle for a few months we decided to go with Brown Subaru not only for the quality/safety features of the cars but also for the quality of the service that the staff provides. John Reighter was our sales associate and he was amazing. He was kind, attentive to all of our questions, and very thoroughly explained all of the model options and features available. Would absolutely recommend him and Brown Subaru to anyone looking for a new or new to them vehicle.

Was passing through Amarillo on a road trip and got an oil temp light; called them on the phone and they were extremely helpful, and even though I made it here only 45 minutes before close, they squeezed me in and were able to diagnose and fix the issue, saving my roadtrip plans.Great folks, would highly recommend. Our whole experience was excellent! Our sales person was not pushy and he was very knowledgeable. Actually, we were just starting research for a new car and did not plan to purchase that day, but everything we wanted was right there. We love our new Subaru!

Im traveling across the US on a road trip and realized that I needed my routine maintenence done to keep my warranty valid. I called the day before I would be in Amarillo and the service department was able to get me in early so I could continue on my trip! They were so friendly and had nice accommodations like coffee and creamer, snacks, and free wifi!

The salesman (Chad) was great. We had lots of trouble getting our tags though. We called multiple times and didnt get a response. Our dealers tags actually ran put before the registration was even received by us.

I am biased, because I know the guys and gals at Brown, they treat us like family since we purchased our first Outback several years ago. I dont know how they do it, but they are always friendly, and remember us when we come in for service or a new car. Tom Hagar is on the GMC lot, but helped us out with our new Crosstrek. Not your typical car salesmen, they listen and are not pushy. Brown is a different car shopping experience. Give them a try. Thank you

Excellent customer service. I called to have my windshield replace and they got back to me the next day. My windshield was replaced in no time. Elizabeth at the body shop provided excellent customer service as I was informed every at every step along the way. I highly recommend this place. Stay away from Scoggin-Dickey Subaru. They never called me back considering I was very patient. I waited almost two weeks. I should have called Brown Subaru the first time.

I took my car in to get my tire patched and they told me that the tire wasn’t leaking air. I know it was leaking air because I’m always having to put air in the tire. So they patch it anyways and I pay for it and later that same day I get a low tire pressure light. I take it in again to get it looked at and later on the light comes on again. It makes me wonder if it was even patched in the first place.

Its nice to see there are still professional people who care about their customers in this world. Wow, a used car salesman that is honest, fair, and caring.

I was traveling across country and my cooling fans stopped working. Brown Subaru took 3 hrs to diagnose the problem, then told me it would take $1200+ to fix it and the parts wouldnt be in for two days. In fact they told me you cant find any parts between Denver and Dallas. I asked about after market parts and they said none were available in town. I drove down the road and found a local mechanic who diagnosed the problem immediately and had the parts in 20 minutes. They fixed my car for half the price of what Browns would have. Browns mechanics were slow, the receptionist knew nothing about cars and was the one who relayed my concerns to the mechanic who I was not allowed to talk to directly. They mislead me by saying that no parts were in town when clearly there were. And to ad insult to injury there was a sales guy who, after overhearing how much it would cost to fix my car offered to sell me a new car off the lot. All I needed was two new fans, not 4 hrs in a Subaru dealer followed by a salesman eager to pray on a wounded driver. I would not recommend going here.

Got my oil changed here a week ago, and it was a nice experience overall. The waiting area was stocked with sodas and water, plus snacks and coffee. The lobby has a bunch of lovely Subarus on display that you can check out, and the staff was both friendly and responsive.

We have bought 3 Subaru vehicles here, one for us and two for our sons. Subaru makes a great car. Well engineered, great use of space, quality materials. Our two sales people, Mitch and John, were very helpful.On the other hand, the service department is so bad we wont be buying another Subaru Our son in Austin is pleased with his service there. But this place needs to be redone. We have had one vehicle less than a year, five flats and one tire had to be replaced. No warranty, no customer concern, just a bunch of excuses. We dont buy new cars to be treated like this. I have driven my cars for 30 plus years without a flat. 5 in a year, thats a tire problem.In my business, this is a no brainer. Replace the tires and send them back to the manufacturer. The dealership has leverage, I have none. I dont pay a new car premium (3 times) to be told what the dealership WONT do.Sales and product 5 stars. Integrity and service ZERO

Very disappointed in the finance department. They ran our credit 8 times which showed up as hard credit checks on our credit report. I would have walked away from the deal and bought somewhere else, but the new dealership would have ran our credit as well which would have made a worse dent on our credit. When I confronted them about it, they said that since my score was so great, it wouldnt hurt it too bad. I never gave them permission to run it more than once, but they did it anyway. Not happy with them at all. T

These guys are shady to say the least. A while back I was looking at buying a new Subi from them. They were selling cars on their website that they actually didnt have on the lot yet. As someone that lives an hour away from the dealership, that was annoying, but I still looked at some others they had. I decided not to buy at that time. I just now requested a quote on a used Subi from them and deliberately did not include my phone number because I didnt want a phone call. The quote they sent back said, Please Call where there should have been a price listed. Then the called my Ex-wife, then me using the numbers they had from our previous visit. This to me, is shady. If I wanted a call, I would have listed my phone number. And if you arent going to provide an actual price quote when you give people the option to request a quote online, then dont make it an option. I will never purchase any vehicle from Brown dealerships. This is a glaring red flag on the type of dealership they are and I wont do business with shady people when it comes to this big of a purchase.

2015 forester purchased new from them.I complained at my first oil change that it was using oil 1.5 to 2 quarts between oil changes (6000).Corky told me this was normal, that the 0w-20 oil “ is so thin it evaporators with the car sitting still”.At 70,000 miles I complained that it was now using one quart per 1000 miles. I was told i needed a new engine and i would have to pay: $5000.00 or so.Took it to a subaru dealer in Rapid City South Dakota. They did an oil consumption test snd then replaced my engine at no charge to me.Because the engine WAS FAULTY from the beginning.I dislike being taken advantage of and lied too.Thanks to Subaru in Rapid City for salvaging the brand integrity.I will buy no more vehicles from this Amarillo dealer, or its associated honda dealer. I have purchased two, my father one.

The whole process was fast and quick for me. They werent trying to push and pull you into doing something you dont want like some other dealerships. They dont make you sit and wait a long time to *negotiate* with their managers. GABE also called me after my purchase to make sure I was happy and extended to help me if I ever needed anything. Overall great experience here.

I told salesman/friend, John Reighter, that I needed a car, and days later I am driving the sexiest Dodge Charger with a low payment and luxurious amenities! Being on a budget, I figured there was no way I would be able to get a high end automobile. John found this beautiful used Dodge with low miles but a GREAT price, helped me through financing, and VOILA! Its everything I asked for and MORE! John was very dedicated and caring, and had to go above and beyond to push the deal through. It actually took a team of managers and sales force to get this deal done, yet it was painless. I know they treat all their guests with the same care and attention, thats just how they roll!! Thank you, guys so much.

I was looking for a honest Subaru dealership but I found Brown Subaru. I thought I was going to have good quality and honest service. Corky, the service advisor wasnt very through about my issues. I had to ask multiple times about getting a detail invoice with prices. He quoted me outrages prices for the labor and parts (rear wheel bearing). I wanted an aftermarket part but he told me the price was more than the genuine parts and he charge me the max for the labor at $275/hr for 2.2 and it didnt even take the entire time to do the job. I even call around to find out that AutoZone and OReilly had the parts. I wanted to leave but he told me the job was started already. This place doesnt have the best customer service or even seem to care if they charge the customer high prices.All they want is your money. I would not go to this dealership again. I rather drive farther than go to this place again. I gave them 2 stars because he did end up giving me a 10% discount after I looked for it online and wash my car. You guys have to remember what if it was your daughter or family member being treated this way. I would not recommend going here.

I called a week in advance due to my 3 hour drive there and back. I was told the job would take 4 hours. The job was not even started after 4 hours. I was stuck in Amarillo for 9 hours instead of the promised 4, due to management having a mandatory surprise employee meeting that started at 1pm I dropped of my car at my apt time of 9am. Very dissatisfied! Will not return. Corky did not call me, or let me know, and for 1 of those hours I was in the parking lot waiting. I will not purchase my next Subaru there. We have had 7, and this never happened to us at Subaru of Bend in all our 26 years there.
