I go here often for coffee orders and to buy beans. There is an attention to quality and supporting other local businesses that can’t be matched. The coffee is great, the bagels are delicious and coffee cake and scones are the best. They have provided excellent service during COVID and it will be nice to get to sit inside again when we can. Also it is very convenient to have the delicious Tiffany’s Bakery right next store. I am proud to support these two locally owned small businesses.

I so enjoyed my latte. So delicious, that I didn’t need to add sugar! The staff were incredibly friendly, and I was able to order outside and not even enter. Appreciate the caution with COVID!

Echoing one of the other reviewers, the quality of the coffee itself was not good. I took a picture of my cold brew so you can see how there is way too much foam and oddly the rest of the drink is flat. Something is not right in the way this drink is dispensed, but worse, it actually does not taste good. It tasted...watered down? It’s also a weird space. For a company that’s been around 10 years (that’s what they said when I asked, because the store has a bit of a not-settled-in-yet feel) I can’t quite capture the sterile feel of it. At least they have WiFi I guess.

Wish Id found this gem sooner! As I self proclaimed coffee addict I can appreciate good coffee and these people are doing it right. Hopefully I get to come at least once more before leaving for Jersey.

They bake the coffe here and very fresh price is very reasonable, has some table to chat with friend. Even have wifi, service is good.

Honestly, super weird experience with the staff for a mediocre cup of coffee. Was looking forward to trying it out because I’ve been looking for more coffee culture in the area but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Beanetics is an absolute blessing to have. Weve been purchasing our coffee from them for years. Weve tried different blends; but we keep going back to the Costa Rican coffee from Naranjo...which tastes just like home.

Best roaster in VA. Extremely knowledgeable employees. Always enjoyable to go there. Usually buy many pounds of whole bean coffee from them, always have new and interesting roasts to try.

They roast beans on-site, serve coffee and tea, limited pastries, free Wi-Fi, and coffee related items like Aeropress coffee and espresso maker. There are a few tables for seating. Its a local gem. My absolute favorite bean is Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.

Coffee is very good, service is not, no to many options of pasties.

Ordered coffee online (Thursday) And was charged for the order via paypal. Order should have been ready the next day (Friday); No email, text or phone call Regarding my order. Attempted to call on Saturday, the phone line was busy or no answer (Store closed on Saturday ??). I await update on my order. Maybe on Monday???

Being a coffee roaster doesn’t always mean the coffee is good, and this is a prime example. I got an iced latte and the person I was with got an americano. We didn’t finish either of the drinks. The staff were very friendly and quick to take our order and get the drinks out. It seemed they had a good selection of food as well. Overall, I wouldn’t go back.

Have been buying my coffee from here for years. To be able to buy small batch locally roasted beans is unique. Often I find myself driving past 10 other coffee shops to stop in and get my beans for the week, well worth the drive.

I went there because my friend recommended me and today I went there for two days in a row!Their coffee is amazing. I had hot mocha yesterday and Lucy brewed coffee today. Both were amazing. If it were closer to me, Id go there everyday. I would definitely recommend!

Delicious coffee roasted fresh in-house! Their beans are some of the best Ive ever used, and if you dont have your own grinder they can do it for you. Their iced lattes are absolutely lovely, and any coffee you get can be enjoyed without any sweetener---though they have a nice selection if you want one anyway!

I really enjoyed the coffee in this little roaster. It’s a nice, basic coffee shop with good tables for working, fast WiFi, and plenty of outlets to keep your devices charged.

This was a pretty lucky find for me and I couldnt be happier to have a local supplier of fresh roasted Kona and Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. If you really love coffee then theres nothing like getting coffee this fresh.The staff was super friendly, the prices were more than reasonable and the coffee was top notch. I cant wait to get back and try some more of their offerings.

This is the best coffee shop in the Annandale area that Ive been to. They roast their own coffee beans, which you can also purchase to take home. Ive only had the cappuccinos here, and 9/10 they are money. Every once and awhile Ill get one with that slight burnt milk flavor, but its usually very good. Its in a small strip mall where there is a newly opened Aldi. Im sure Ill stop here first before any visits there.

This place serves brewed coffee but that isnt where it shines. Their beans are the best.

I brew my coffee every day with the beans from Beanetics. They tend to roast darker than other coffee shops, so if you like a rich, full bodied coffee, than this is your place.

Great staff, great beans, clean store. The only thing I could possibly complain about is how 1/20 of their coffee cups will leak from under the lid some. Ive been a regular here for a little while, for a reason. There are many regular customers from what ive seen...which says something.They have a great selection of beans, with some rotating depending on the season and a few other things. All the beans seem to be roasted to Full City+ or second crack, which is great for some beans, but definitely not all.They try to have fresh beans and fresh coffee ready for everybody that walks through the door. It definitely works out quite well.Iced coffee is cold brewed, and is absolutely fantastic.They also have a table set up at the Falls Church Farmers Market, which is definitely a nice touch.

These guys not just sell fresh coffee, they roast it. I mostly buy Jamaica blue mountain coffee here.

Best beans in the area

Hidden in a nondescript plaza in Annandale, an excellent selection of reasonably priced beans, roasted in-house, vacuum-sealed, and DATED. Theres only one other shop I know of in northern VA that dates their roasts. Kudos.

Giving it 2 starts as a protest rating. I like the roasted beans Ive tried (Lucy, Atomic Espresso, and one other one with a name I cant recall). Problem is theres no info on whats in these mixes. The back of the bag gives a creative story that has nothing to do with whats in the package.You guys are bringing a quality freshly roasted coffee to the area. Why not raise peoples knowledge by actually describing what kind of bean, its characteristics, and roast level is inside the bag? You can keep the cutesy names, maybe just put a poster on the wall describing the different coffee beans/mixes you offer?EDIT/UPDATE: I changed my star rating, really hate to beat up on a local small business roaster. I still wish they had more info describing the mixes (I havent been there in a few weeks so maybe they do at this point).

Best coffee in northern Virginia. They have the freshest beans for making coffee at home and they make the most delicious lattes in the shop.

If you dont have good coffee nothing else matters. They start with just plain old good coffee. What more do need? No frills, amazing coffee here and a chair...Oh and red velvet biscotti!

Great iced coffee! I hate the after taste most ice coffee has, but theirs is really smooth. They are not a huge store front but have like 6 tables to sit at. If you are lucky you can get one.

This is the spot! These folks roast their beans daily and mark each bag with a date. I purchase the blends and single origin beans for my espresso and drip habits here. Atomic blend is my favorite, with Lucy a close second. On the single origin front, there are beans from Latin and South America regularly, with Indonesia and Africa showing up as well. Sometimes I am happy to see Peaberry from different parts of the world. Their specialities are Honduras, and Hawaiian beans. Oh and they sell coffee drinks and even have some cold press. A must for any coffee aficionado.

Its the go to place to buy coffee beans, theyre fresh within days of roasting on site, and dated. 3 stars for being great roasters.No coffee experts on site though -2 stars for service provided. Dont expect someone that tastes, tests, or experiments with their beans. Nor anybody with barista experience. When you order a latte, youll get a scorched low qual cappuccino instead. Again, have no expectations on expresso drinks.

I absolutely love love love this place. I found it accidentally a couple years ago while being lost in annadale, VA. It has the best coffee ever. Move over, Starbucks !!! This place has a variety of beans. That roast their own stuff. Im about an hour away so its not always convenient to drive over there to have coffee unless I happen to be in the area. So I ordered my beans online. Thanks to the post office (not!!) they lost the package !!! I emailed beanetics and they promptly sent me a replacement. This is the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERRRRRR!!!! I this place !!! Btw, the Cro magnum beans are the best for making cold brew. Soooooo smooth !
