Great coffee and vibes. Theres a small coffee menu but it keeps it simple and not overly complicated. They offer some baked goods and cold bottled drinks as well. It has a convenient location in a shopping center not fair from local freeways. Overall, great coffee and great space to relax.

Love their seasonal lattes and shakers! Sometimes I drive from Pasadena just to grab a coffee and treat myself and I do stop in whenever Im in the area. Definitely worth the drive to check it out if you’ve never been bring a friend or two they have cozy little patio area outside and a nice little bar top area inside

Best coffee in the DMV area. Even beats some of my fave spots in Richmond. These roasting geniuses spend so much time doing QC in the lab, and it really shines through on every batch. The tasting notes are always spot on, and every blend is unique. The flavors really come through. And the environment/vibe here at Riva is warm, comfortable and great customer service. Love stopping in.

Ive had Ceremony Coffee at local establishments but never directly from a Ceremony coffee shop! So this was super exciting for me.Both their drinks and food menus look amazing. It took us awhile just to decide on coffee drinks. We ended up trying the Lady Baltimore and a standard soy milk iced latte.Both drinks were soooooo good. The Lady Baltimore though.... TO DIE FOR. Its Espresso, almond milk, sour cherry, lemon zest and vanilla bean meringue. Again, TDF.Prices are so reasonable for the wonderful quality.Service was alright. They could be friendlier and smile more.A nice little spot to have breakfast, grab coffee or do some work from.I am definitely going to be coming back often!

I love this little, local coffee shop! Its my go-to place. They have amazing seasonal drink options that give you that warm fuzzy or cool refreshing feeling. The pastries are always fresh. There are coffee and tea options to satisfy everyone. The staff is super nice.

I only wish this shop was located in a quieter Annapolis area instead of in such a crazy busy shopping center...That would make it perfect for me.Otherwise their coffee is always great (I go for the latte--no foam, please), and the staff is very helpful and super friendly. So, its a two out of three for me, thats why the 4-star rating.

Favorite spot for good coffee. Whether iced or hot, Ceremony has a good selection and offers quality coffee. They also have Soy and Almond milks for dairy alternatives. Great atmosphere and good music. Great for some school work hours or just to hang out with friends.

I remember visiting the first time a few years ago and fell in love with the coffee and the vibe. Unfortunately, now it just feels like a run-down Starbucks. The store could use a deep clean and overall sprucing up. The staff is young and more concerned about talking to each other than making a good cup of coffee. Ceremony now has competition in the area (Curate and Il Grano). Both have better coffees now and I find myself choosing them more frequently.Oddly enough, my criticism is limited to this location. When going to Ceremony in Baltimore, I still have the same excitement I had on my first visit at Riva. I hope someone will reenergize this one soon.

They have the BEST iced lattes. After picking up a mobile order that I thought was incorrect, I called to clarify my order. The manager on duty was beyond professional, courteous, and patient while I figured out I put the order in wrong. She was incredible, I was beyond embarrassed, and the drinks are still delicious. I definitely recommend Ceremony coffee over any coffee establishments around!

The service was so fast, and it made me impress with them. I couldnt ask for more from them! They are the best! Five stars for the excellent service! I was so happy with the taste of their cappuccino and their red velvet cake. The taste was so delectable and satisfying. Strongly recommended to everyone!

Nowhere near as good as the first time I visited. They were out of biscuits and avocados werent ripe enough for avocado toast. (First world problems, I know.) I much prefer the Ceremony Roastery on Russell St off of West St.

We were a little nervous when we went to Annapolis because as avid cold brew fans we hadnt heard of a coffee shop in the area other than Starbucks. Luckily our concerns we assuaged when we found Ceremony Roasters a 10 minute drive from the city center. We had the poached egg and avocado toast as well as the ham and cheese for breakfast and both dishes were delightful. The star of the show however was the cold brew. Sent from nitro heaven, that cold brew was easily one of the best Ive had on this planet. Cant wait to go back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

My husband and I have always loved ceremony coffee. Its one of our favorite places in Annapolis. We were super pleased to find out that we could order and have it shipped to us now that we live out of state!

Just really good coffee.

Coffee is good. Professional baristas make your coffee with fresh roasted coffee beans. However, the cafe is super dirty. You’ll see the dust and bread crumbs all over the floor, chairs and the tables. This kind of shows how they manage hygiene. Hopefully they care the cleanliness of their cafe as much as their coffee.

This is my go to place for whole bean coffee. It is NOT cheap...but you get what you pay for.

Coffee is awesome, this particular location could use some power outlets along the wall.

Very cute little coffee shop with tons of places to sit, unfortunately we were there during a busy time and had to sit in the windowsill. The lattes were very tasty and cute. It wasnt the best latte ever but it was definitely unique and worth stopping in.

I just wanted to say thank you to the gentleman that took my order today. I’m currently going through some things and he spoke words of comfort to a complete stranger. I am very thankful for the fact that he didn’t have to care about a customer, but he did anyway.Also, my iced matcha latte was super refreshing.

Not too impressed with this place. The best thing about this place was the toast and raspberry jam. The mint mocha was not hot...nor my husbands mocha. The sandw iches came out of a hot box.

Unlike the top-notch Ceremony in Baltimores Harbor Point, this one left me cold.On a first visit, unfriendly staff were disinterested in talking about the coffee (nobody in line). The homogenous late-morning crowd all but filled the smallish store with their presence, but not with energy. Strange for a place that should be heavily caffeinated.I selected a mini-bundt cake from the meager pastry offerings. Asked if it could be warmed up, was tersely refused with no explanation. The cake? Well, it was unfortunately adhering to the gluten-free trendiness, and tasted like it was made by someone who once saw a bundt cake. It might have been better warm...Add in the bizarrely twisted, cluttered parking lots of this heavily paved part of suburban Annapolis, and the place had all the charm of an airport Starbucks.Skip it unless you work nearby.

Best coffee in town in my opinion. They filled my reusable mug with a smile and the coffee itself is very drinkable. This coffee convinced my non-coffee-drinker husband that black coffee doesnt have to be unpalatable and bitter. It has actual FLAVOR 😱

This is my third visit. I just drink regular coffee and it’s pretty good as is the service, and venue.

Absolute worst experience, coffee (and not the first time!) Ordered a dirty chai expecting a chai latte with 2 shots of espresso as confirmed when I ordered... I got coffee with chai flavoring and in the wrong size! Way too expensive for pretentious employees and terrible coffee. Thanks, no thanks. Last time visiting this location.

One of the best coffees in the world. I dont like the uncomfortable chairs though and because of that I dont really hang out there, which is probably fine with them because its always packed. Pretty noisy when full. They really take their coffee seriously.

Only downside to this place is, I like to do work from coffee shops, and there are limited power outlets. You have to sit along the wall. But otherwise, it is a nice and cozy spot to enjoy a coffee beverage

Delicious coffee and great breakfast choices. The staff is always super helpful and kind to everyone. It warmed my heart too because when I was there once they helped an elderly local who comes in get his cab to his other stops for the day. Wonderful coffee and wonderful humans here for sure :)

Super Great Vibe this place! I love the minimalist, wood-centric design. There is plenty of space to work and chat. Light menu, but off-the-beaten-path selections that are tasty and health conscious. The only thing here Im not impressed by is that the Square station is set up to automatically request your tip amount before you sign--even for takeout. It just doesnt FEEL optional. 87% of Americans dont tip on takeout so dont feel obligated to tip at the prompt! Enjoy!

Went in hoping for Turmeric Tea and Avocado Toast. Didnt have the tea but I did have black tea and the Spicy Avocado Toast!! And it was delicious!! Glad I stopped in. Next I want to try one of their bowls.

Very happy. This is the only place in about 30 miles we have found baristas that really care about their craft. They make actual foam and espresso thats wonderfully balanced! Go here if you want to know what a cappuccino is supposed to taste like.Comparatively, every other shop nearby should be charging 1/3 of this place

Fantastic coffee house, neat vibe and chill place to get some work done. Locally roasted beans, deep and rich espresso. Probably the best latte Ive ever had!

Very nice atmosphere. Cozy and quiet. Coffee and pastries were great. Definitely a more adult feel than Panera or Starbucks. I especially appreciated the small touches of how they finish their beverages with interesting serving ideas.

The 2 women working were sweet and very patient.

VEGAN OPTIONS HERE! Their delicious whole grain toast really seems to be unique to this cafe, and their salad bowls are great too. Coffee is good and they have almond milk. Their menu is mainly very healthy. Wait time for food is quick (5-10 mins) and they will bring the food to your table. First time visiting and i will surely come back for the spicy avocado toast. Please add a vegan sandwich to the menu. Also the seating could be better, but thats the least of my concerns since im going in and out quickly.

This coffee shop is a great alternative to the chain stores. Their espresso drinks have a unique, full, flavor that is a really nice change from other shops. We come here whenever we can.

Always good sandwiches, and great coffee. Perfect place to escape the cold. You cannot be in a rush as there’s only one Chef. But it’s worth the wait.

Always great, the custom brewed coffees are fantastic, As are all the sandwiches. Much better than any other place in the area. Its right next to Panera bread and a few other restaurants but this is definitely the best choice.

This place has a good reputation, so I had high hopes for the coffee here. The first time, the coffee flavor was just...off. I chalked it up to an isolated experience. I went again a few weeks later and did a pour-over with a different roast. Still...the flavor was off. I tried it a third time, and have come to the realization that I just dont like their coffee.Genuinely confused what the fuss is about.

I havent been here in awhile so this visit was excellent.The barista was very busy but once he helped me with my order, he was helpful in answering my questions about some choices. Coffee wasnt super hot but was very smooth and excellent taste. Non acidic.

Nice place for my day-off routine--grab a couple bags of roasted whole bean coffee, a delicious medium latte, and a newspaper. Even has outdoor seating.

They did the best they could to optimize seating with the small footprint.Customer Service: I go here often and am always greeted with a smile and someone who is knowledgable on the Ceremony product.Product: I have had everything from the standard drip coffee to the artisanal pour-over to the signature drinks. Theyre unmatched in Annapolis. You wont find a better cup anywhere.

I spent the morning in hospital getting chemotherapy and stopped at ceremony to treat myself a latte. When I picked it up I knew immediately it was not as hot as I liked. The barista was not very friendly so I hesitated to tell him, but I knew that if I did not I would not drink it. So I nicely asked him to heat it up he said there was no way to heat it up and he would have to throw the original latte away and remake it. He seemed quite angry and in. A condescending tone said, youll have to wait. Then he proceeded to make 3 drinks of people, who were behind me in line before making my latte.... He didnt apologize. He didnt smile, he didnt say please or thank you. He just slammed the newly made latte down and walked away. And of course, he didnt make it any more hot for me. I just took it and walked away. Too weak from getting chemo and sad that one week before Christmas, I was treated so poorly by the young barista at Ceremony Coffee Roasters.

The coffee here is amazing. The prices for nonspecialty or seasonal drinks are decent but the seasonal and specialty drinks are small and overpriced. Some of the best coffee I have had.

Ive been coming here since it was Cafe Pronto. Amazing coffee! The baristas are kind and knowledgeable. I stock up on coffee beans and take them back to school in SC! Enjoy!

Best light roast coffee. Best espresso. I am so spoiled by this place. This place changed what I expect from coffee. If you are an espresso drinker you must try their Destroyer espresso.
