I need sports wear, but cant try on anything. Lucky took it home and it fit, so I didnt have to waste time taking it back to the store if it didnt fit.

Staff was very rude. I bought water shoes for my son and grandson. All shoes had 19.99 sale except one style that was mixed in the assortment. It was 39.99.Of course that was one we had picked out.Not separated in any manor.When I asked why they couldnt tell me. I will never shop there again.

Shoe department gal was excellent and knew exactly what was in stock! Cashier was polite! Price well within my budget. Great job!

Watch out for the mask police here. Weird vibe from the staff as well. Did not feel welcomed here whatsoever. No wonder no other customers were in the store. Will never shop here again.

Got such good help that I ended up buying 2 pairs of shoes.The young woman was under great pressure in taking care of at least 5 other customers but she ended up pleasing all of us since everyone brought 👍

Very disappointed at Big 5 today. My wife bought me some slippers for Xmas but I needed a smaller size. The ones she bought were $55, on sale for $25. So they gave me credit for $25. The ones I picked out were same brand (clarks) but retail was only $40. They were on sale b4 Xmas but not now. I had to pay $15 more even though the slippers I chose had a retail price $15 less than the ones I returned. I complained but it was wasted breath. Disappointing.

I like the selection and how helpful they are! They have good sales sometimes and are great with returns! I had some sandals that I bought in California at a big5. They ended up coming apart and these guys (in mesa Az) traded them out for me with no hassle whatsoever! The new ones came apart in the same spot and they traded them out too!

Horrible customer service. Its almost like I was the only one in the store for 30 min. I finally had to go up front to the cashier to get someone to help me, only then did someone come out of the woodworks to help me, and was very unfriendly. I just left. I was there to purchase 2 running shoes and weight lifting sets. Ill spend my money elsewhere. Not going there again.

All Different sports needs.

Today, 1/26/21, went into the Apache Junct, Az location. I asked for help from the blonde girl at the front to regarding the 10% discount received by email. She just lazy and blew me off stating, if I have it she will accept it! Then I when to the manager on the floor and asked the same thing with same answer. I was asking help in getting the discount which I always do when I go there.In short, just a bunch of lazy staff including the overweight manager! Hope someone incorporate sees this.

Terrific sales! Lots of different sporting equipment and products. Decent selection, not the greatest selection. Helpful staff. I picked up some new hiking boots 50 or 60% off. Thick socks were on sale as well. Clean, well stocked, and not pestered to death by the sales peeps. If you are working with a budget, get their weekly ads. Camping season is upon us!

This store capitalizes on difficult times 😑 150 rnds of 556 for 99.99 last Wednesday I bought the exact box of ammunition for 69.00 if you enjoy paying more then you should, Big 5 is your spot to shop...

Very hostile. Employee followed me around the store, staring at me. And opened the storage box I purchased when checking out to see if I was shoplifting. Made me uncomfortable, will not be supporting this store in the future.

Went for some skating gear, and found the set my kid wanted and i got it, and it had a very good brand called- K2, I had it before and it stood up to some serious abuse for hockey hits. Nice staff helping us.

What a great little location! Staff was helpful and friendly. I like this store bc it’s not a huge one and stuff is easy to find. I needed some swimming goggles for my granddaughter and called ahead to check if they had any. They did and it was a wonderful selection. Was able to get some for only $10.

Great deals on shoes, IF they had more sizes... if youre not a size 10 or below, dont even bother to walk in the store. Better help in the shoe department would also be of great assistance.

My go-to place for anything activity related. Good. Popular brands, good prices, and staff who is usually willing to go out of their way to help. (Usually. There was that one time when one associate was far less than helpful, but hey, everyone has a bad day....right?) I love this store!

One of the last chains of sporting goods retailers. I am sure they have a web store but never have checked it out. For me there are things that before I buy them, I like to look at them and maybe try it on like clothes, shoes, eyewear, mountain climbing gear.Staff was present but not all over me. Fairly large span of items in the store. Its a place that I go to when needed.

The Service was fantastic! I was just shopping, and said so, whenever help was offered. Instead of bothering (Up-Selling) me, I was always given a polite and professional Let us know if you need anythingWhile the Service was fantastic, some prices were higher. One knife: Wal-Mart $50, Big 5 $55. That being said, had I found a pair of work/hunting-boots, that met my criteria, I would have bought there.

Is the good location but they always seem to be out of everything I go in for I always have to travel to power McDowell location and get things there. Itll be nice to see if they upgrade their quantities of stock.

I stopped at Big 5 off Main St & Signal Butte, to purchase some exercise clothes and found rack all marked $19.99.However, there were several styles of tops on rack, squeezed between other discounted items, making one think they were also $19.99. Until I got to register and found they were not.So why were they not on separate rack, or card above them stating their price, so shoppers know they are not included in discount?BAD SALES BAIT & SWITCHI will find another place to shop.

Karen and the young man with her in the front (didnt catch his name 😔) were so AMAZINGGGG!! From the moment we walked in the young man greeted us! We will DEFINITELY be back, now thats OUTSTANDING customer service! Kudos to that store for great employees!
