From the time we met the owners, who just happened to be at the door when we walked into the showroom, we believed this was the company we wanted to remodel our Master Walk-In Closet. They took time to show us the features and benefits of their closet system, the quality of materials and workmanship, and the ability to work with us on design attributes that were not necessarily part of their design package. They pointed out multiple variations where we could select the best solution for our needs. Even then, their design team visited our house to validate what was desired and needed as well as stepped us through the purchase process. The installation team was very organized, efficient and answered our questions throughout the day. Upon completion, they showed us how everything worked, where we could adjust shelving, doors, etc., discussed the transferrable warranty and made sure there was nothing left that needed to be done. Everything was left clean and neat upon their departure, inside and out. We hope to enjoy our new closet for many years to come.

We used Closet Factory to redo our bedroom closet. The entire process was easy, with no pressure and very helpful in making decisions. From seeing the actual showroom, looking and designing our closet, to even a behind the scenes tour of the factory floor (thank you MIke!!) all was painless.Installation went very well and looks great!!! From start to finish my experience with Closet Factory has been fantastic! My designer, Ann, came in and got to know me and the space very well before helping me design the pantry of my dreams. She had insightful input that was incredibly helpful in determining the layout of the pantry and never felt like she was upselling or pushy. Ann seemed to truly envision how I worked in the kitchen and perfectly crafted the pantry to fit my needs. The team was very communicative from start to finish. The installation team was prompt, efficient, and need little to no oversight (which was perfect because I was working from home and had meetings all day). They had me review the measurements and even noted important details that they wanted to make sure were correct and asked if I would like to keep my base boards or any of the materials being replaced. The team finished quickly and the kitchen was cleaner once they left than it had been when they arrived. This was my first experience with a renovation of this scale in my house but Closet Factory made it stress-free and affordable. I feel an overwhelming sense of joy every time I open the pantry and see the beautiful work that they completed. I will certainty be using them again for future projects!

Jen from closet factory was the consultant that worked with me on the my closet project and she was such a breath of fresh air to work with. She made my entire experience customizing my closet such a breeze. Once we finished customizing and quoting my master bedroom closet I was so pleased I ended up asking her to also customize my daughters closet. I described what I wanted for my daughters closet and they nailed it. The best thing about my daughters closet is that its something she will grow into over time. That was my main concern. I will absolutely be contacting the company for future needs.

I received a custom closet for my master bedroom. Our consultant Lisa was amazing, she was very knowledgable, flexible and did everything to make sure we received the closet we wanted inside of our budget. Plus, she ensured we had function as well as a beautiful aesthetic. Im very happy with my new master closet. Designer Lisa was very helpful in her design suggestions to better optimize the storage space given the unusual wall slant and height. She was responsive and knowledgeable and shared lots of insights from former projects. On installation day, I appreciated Marks willingness to make an in-process design adjustment to better accommodate a built-in shelf in the closet. It made the job (and his day) longer since he had to partially disassemble the work he had already done, but I know Ill be happier with the result in the long run. My only issue with Closet Factory (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) was the length of time it took to schedule the installation after finalizing the design -- almost 3 months.

Working with Kimberly was great...she was friendly, helpful and professional. Helped my kids figure out what they wanted/needed in a closet and offered suggestions and alternatives. Mike, the installer, also great. Very diligent in his work, professional, and made sure to point out a few suggestions. I highly recommend the company as well as these individuals.

Mark and Devin did excellent work! They were very professional and followed all safety protocols. I would definitely recommend them and closet factory. My only concern was that the base was left unfinished but it was explained to me that this was outside the scope of work. I would have liked to have known that in advance. Outside of that, an excellent job overall.

After moving into a house that was missing shelves in a bedroom closet, the kitchen pantry, and laundry area, we were happy to have the help of Closet Factory and designer Jamie Whitman to design and install shelves to help us organize and store items in those areas. We decided to get the walk-in closet done as well and we’re so happy we did. With the shelving and hanging rods designed for our needs, we have more than enough room to store our stuff and keep it neatly organized.

I highly recommend Closet Factory! Given the pandemic situation, our design meetings were held virtually. It was no problem at all. Designer works with you in 2D and 3D drawings to help you understand what you want and the space limitations. Our designer, Sarah T, was awesome. Our installer, Claudio, was very clean, respectful, and so detailed. The finish level is exceptional and outstanding. I highly recommend!

An excellent final product always start with a diligent design and thats exactly happened in my case. I hired Closet Factory to design and build custom cabinets for my Garage. Their designer Julia Page did an excellent job of converting my ideas and requirements into a tangible design. And I couldnt be happier with the final output. Julia was very professional, patient and responsive from design to final build. We had to iterate design few times based on my changing needs and we could do many edits real-time and visually over a Zoom call. The design that was presented to me was brilliant which helped me visualize exactly how my space would look with the closets. Julia was always available for clarifying my questions, gave me plenty of time to think through during each iteration and was never pushy. Kyle and team did an excellent job with the installation. I dont often leave reviews but wanted to recognize the entire team at Closet Factory for their outstanding work. Like many, our closet was something of an afterthought by the original builders. After removing all the previous shelving and rods and repairing and repainting the room I was going to build shelving and install hanging rods, until my wife informed me that she wanted drawers. Time to move to plan B. Closet Factory was one of the few companies that provided the option of having custom drilled holes for shelves, which provided a much cleaner and in our opinion elegant closet. Enter Shanna, our designer. We have a relatively narrow closet yet wanted to have a lot of shelving, hanging and even storage. Shanna was incredibly patient, positive and so kind - always trying to help us get what we needed (or wanted) in this small footprint. She made suggestions along the way that added big impact and werent all that expensive to implement. With years of previous design experience she also lent insight that we simply didnt have, nor would we have known until after the fact. I even visited the factory and met one of the owners which increased my level of confidence in the project. Amanda (Service Coordinator) was wonderful to work with regarding scheduling and payments and David and Michael (installers) were rock stars. Both had extensive experience in remodels and construction and had such a can do attitude, the epitome of who you would want to do any install. After they left for the day (day 1 of install), we realized that when viewed from the bathroom, the entire middle section would look much better moved to the right a few inches. Mind you, they had installed it according to plans, but this is just one of those things you cant really tell from plans and dont realize until installation. Even though they had affixed the section to the wall, when I told them about it, they offered, without any hesitation to move the entire 8 foot section over to center it with the doorway. Talk about customer service. Once finished we can honestly say this closet turned out better than we expected. Each of the people we worked with were outstanding and (no surprise) so was the final product. In case anyone was wondering, I was not paid or compensated in any way for this review. They did a great job and I wanted to pass that along to whomever could benefit from it!

She worked diligently to find for us the look that we wanted at a price point that was acceptable. As a plus, she is both professional and personable to work with. The installation went smoothly. There was no mess, they were quiet, and efficient.But the most telling point, for me, was that we had a small installation problem due to the customization of the product. Closet Factory worked diligently to correct this to our complete satisfaction. They stood behind their product and their installation. You cant ask for more than that. I highly recommend them.

Within a week I had the design. Start to finish did an excellent job. My consultant/design expert, Tracey was thorough and made excellent use of our space. Best customer service we have used closet factory for 4 different areas in our home. Sarah has the best ideas for optimum efficiency in your home. The only mistake we made was in our master closet. We opted for no backer on the system. Sarah did offer this option but we declined. Big mistake. So if you are offered the option take it because it makes a world of difference in your system. All the other installed systems we did install the backer system. Thank you Sarah, Mike and Sue for all your help and great customer service.

We worked with Tracey for our design. We knew what we wanted, but didn’t really see a picture of the design we were looking for. Tracey was able to create the perfect design for our needs. Our closet now has so much more space and is gorgeous! We had no idea how big our closet actually was. Closet Factory did an amazing job of taking advantage of all spaces. They also did a great job of staying in our budget. Our installer, Ryan did a wonderful job. He made sure we were pleased before finishing up and even made a change last minute with no problem. Where do I start? Was it paying a lot of money (which they requested upfront) for custom-made cabinets that - when they finally came to install - showed up without the hardware/handles? Or that the hamper top, which they made the wrong size the first time, was again the wrong size the second time (when they showed up to also install the handles they forgot the first time)? Or that the springs on the hamper make such a loud noise, our dog runs into another room and when we asked how to stop the noise, we were told Itll get better over time? Or was it the fact that once the designer designs and gets the invoice out, she/he disappears and does not keep up with the progress of the project unless you call to complain? It took forever to get this ill-fated project done, however, I will give them one positive comment: they are extremely adept when it comes to getting invoices out. Minutes after the technician left for his final (hopefully) visit, the invoice flew into my inbox. If only their design and production process was as precise as their billing department...

I cannot say enough positive things about Amy Brothers, my Design Consultant, and the Closet Factory’s staff and owners.Amy did a great job designing a dry bar to meet all of my needs and wants, while keeping the design aesthetically pleasing, and within my budget. I love my Closet Factory closet system. We had tried to plan our space on our own with systems from Lowe’s, etc. but couldn’t figure out how to make it work. Lou Ann Duun was wonderful to work with. She made the process of figuring out our needs easy and made our space more functional and organized than we ever could. She is a whiz at making the best use of the space. She was even able to offer suggestions that might make our design more affordable and looked outside of the box to find products that fit our needs better than the traditional offerings. It took a while for our scheduled installation but when the date got here it was a smooth and efficient process. Our installer was a gem, efficient and pleasant and attentive to keeping things clean. I wish I could remember his name to mention here.

During a busy time of year, Closet Factory was able to get me in for my very first closet redo! This means I had a million questions and concerns about the process, hahaha. Mike was very patient with me and took the “hours” to work with me (after business hours, no less!) and ensure I had the perfect closet to address my needs, my budget, and all of my questions and concerns. Lisa was very patient through out the entire process and helped us in choosing the right option that suited our needs and also our budget. Lisa communicated with us frequently to keep us updated on the timelines etc.The scheduling team also kept us informed on the installation details.The technician David Potter that came to install the closet at my house was punctual and showed up at the scheduled time.He was all by himself, still installed the closet with ease and on time. We did have an unexpected hiccup along the way but, being the professionals they, the job was handled and managed appropriately. I absolutely love my née home because of these completed projects.

Searched for a company to buy a Murphy bed. Searched for quite a few days and ultimately decided on Closet Factory. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have a very talented designer name Lisa that actually visited my home ........sat with me.......told her what I envisioned..........and she initially designed my Murphy bed. We met frequently via the web as she fine tuned my bed. I visited the shop just to see Sue & Mike the owners quality of work. I’d only seen pics on the web. As soon as I walked in the door I was reassured I’d selected the right company. The quality of the materials used for the closets & beds is excellent! Sue & Mike the Owners were very friendly....informative and engaging during my visit and answered all my questions........a big plus for any business! I was even given a military discount🙂. I can’t say enough about my designer Lisa! Professional.....talented.......funny.......enjoyed working with her. I don’t remember the guys name who actually put the bed in but he was better than good. I could tell he was a perfectionist and took pride in his work. Lisa Whitfield-Jacobs, our company rep, is magnificent! She was pleasant, proved very knowledgeable about the company’s product and very helpful from our very first meeting. She gave my husband and me time to process all info presented and compare with another company before we made our decision without any harassment. Once we decided Closet Factory was our choice, Lisa went into high mode in the most positive way. She asked thorough questions to make sure she would fulfill my every need for my closet. She returned to our home to help me inventory all items—clothes, shoes, jewelry, purses, hats, belts, etc—to make sure each would have a home in the new closet (she literally unpacked items from suitcases, folded and stacked them as I would on the closet shelving). She kept me included in every step. She had me tour the factory with her such that I could see, touch, question and understand all options. From there she designed my closet virtually (both 2D and 3D), allowed me to see and talk through it via our computers and we made necessary changes. The builders were thorough, neat (cleaned after themselves each day) and quick (completed the job in two days rather than three). We loved the work so much that we opted to use Closet Factory again for my husband’s office! Lisa’s help, once again was tremendous! She spent many days with us via our computers and pics I shared via texts until we completed the perfect custom design. The build starts in a week and we are confident it, too, will be great! We HIGHLY recommend Lisa to assist with any design! She will surely make sure you are completely satisfied.

Loved working with Lou Anne! This has been a project we have been wanting to do for so long! We looked at other companies and DIY options, but the process of designing it ourselves felt so daunting and we really wanted to make sure it was done right. Also we wanted to be sure of the quality of the materials used. Lou Anne was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable about her product and addressed all of our concerns while helping us to be able to stay within our budget. She really understood the style I was looking for and our storage needs and did all of the measurements for us and put together a beautiful design that accommodated everything. She walked us through the process from start to finish and we knew exactly what to expect. It was installed in 1 day and it looks absolutely stunning! My closet is now one of my favorite rooms in my house, and both my husband and I are so pleased with it. Highly recommend!!!

Removal of our existing closets was accomplished efficiently by Mike with little to no damage to walls, trim, or flooring. Installation of the new closets by Aaron and Derek was flawless. Very happy with our experience! We started with a few hiccups and the owners were extremely accessible and ready to do whatever it took to be sure we got what we needed. All of the office staff was also great. The product is amazingly beautiful and they were quick to honor the warranty when we needed it. You will not be disappointed!

Julia was a great person to work with. We have a fairly small master closet and she helped us maximize the space. Kyle and his crew worked quickly and efficiently installing and when we had an issue with one of the rods, he came out the day after my call to Julia and fixed it. I highly recommend them!

Lou Anne Dunn came to my house and carefully measured my two closets and assessed what my needs were for each closet. Then she drew up plans and elevations of the shelves that were going in each closet and made sure I understood what she had drawn. When the contract for the shelves came in, she made sure I understood that too. The actual installation of the shelves went smoothly and the only surprise was how wonderful they look. I now have closets I enjoy showing to anyone willing to look. Lou Anne did a great job!

I walked into the Closet Factory in Apex, NC about a year and a half ago to inquire about reconfiguring the closet in my master bedroom. I was greeted warmly by Jill Calverley, the Service Coordinator. She answered my questions & connected me with Julia Page, a Senior Design Consultant. Julia came to my house & worked with me to design the perfect closet for my needs. She had great ideas & was wonderful to work with. The installers were also very professional and made sure I was happy. My new closet is complete with shelves, rods for long hanging clothes, double rods for short hanging clothes, kickplates, a valet rod, & a sliding belt rack. Julia followed up after the work was complete, coming back to my house to make sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it. She even helped me move some clothes back in & helped me adjust the heights of the shelves. I highly recommend the Closet Factory for any closet overhauls or adjustments, or organizational needs. I just had Julia come back to see what wonders she could come up with for the challenging coat closet underneath my stairs.

Closet Factory installed pull out drawers in the kitchen of my moms new apartment in a retirement center. The kitchen has limited cabinet space, so making the most of the space is important. For the lower cabinets, Mom had difficulty bending down to see (& get out) the contents. And in the narrow pantry, it was difficult to tell what was in the back of the deep shelves. The pull out drawers fixed all that- everything is visible and much safer for Mom! Lou Anne designed the drawers to perfectly fit the existing space- and they exactly match the wood of the cabinets already in the kitchen. It looks great. Tyrone installed them quickly and well. We are so pleased with the results! Efficient, attractive, and cost-effective!

We had the pleasure of meeting our designer, Ann Mullins, several months ago in response to our request for a free design consultation for our large walk-in master closet. When Ann came to our home, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and was a very good listener as to what we were looking for in the way of organizing our closet space. Before meeting Ann, we met with two other closet companies for quotes, and neither of those companies could come close to the design and price that were given to us by Ann. So, we made our decision to go with Anns design and thus began the process of ordering our closet system. This turned out to be a wonderful decision!When the time came for installation, we received a phone call from the office to confirm our install date and received another call the morning of the install to tell us the installers were on their way. The installers (Mike and his partner) were prompt and courteous and worked diligently and carefully to install our closet system in just one day! We were so thrilled with the service, the communication, and how Anns design worked for us that a few months later we called the office again to find out when Ann could return to our home to design our walk-in kitchen pantry. Once again, Ann designed a great space and Closet Factory promptly delivered a terrific product. We are now considering having Ann return for a third time to design a system for our garage. I had an awesome experience from beginning to end with the Closet Factory. Sue Pail designed my closet after measuring, taking pictures, and getting a list of my closet wishes. She incorporated everything I wanted and needed into the closet design. It was installed exactly when promised, and beautifully. The installer was professional, courteous, thorough, and fast. He finished ahead of schedule, then came back on the last scheduled day for about an hour or so to tweak a few things that I probably never would have noticed werent perfect. I am incredibly pleased with the end result and the high quality of the materials used. I would definitely use the Closet Factory again for another project and I would recommend them to anyone!

Julia does a fabulous job, she immediately visualizes the clients needs, has a great talent when making the design and she cares after her client. Along with Jill they both kindly accommodated the appointments around my working schedule and I appreciate that very much. When a problem arouse, I was not expecting, the owner, Mr. Pail, would come to my house to fix it. As I read somewhere in these reviews, that type of attention and care is rare to find these days. When you order an in home installation, aside from the sales rep, it all comes down to the installer(s). Tyrone did our pretty large install as a real professional; courteous, detail oriented and very meticulous. A pleasure to deal with on a daily basis and always ensuring that we were satisfied before the day was done. He is top of my list!

Closet factory installed an organizer into my closet when I first moved into my house and I called them back again for an update!!!! I got rid of the dresser in my bedroom and Ann came in and created a new option for my closet. No more dresser!!! Thank goodness! She also created a new sunglass drawer which created a ton of room for my jewelry. A girl can never have too much jewelry. She pointed out a few other options that I cant wait to create., The installer was extremely fast and pleasant. I completely love working with them. If you have an opportunity, definitely give them a call. Youll be surprised with what you can do.BTW, they dont only do closets. They did a great job when they installed the shelving around my fireplace. It looks like it was built with the house!
