My husband I have have rented storage units here on two separate occasions and had excellent experiences both times. The best part about BeeSafe was that I could access my unit at my convenience. Elevators to help me loan and unload items was also a plus. Whenever I had a question, they were always available to answer my questions and address my concerns.

Very smooth experience when signing up, I did everything primarily online. The units are extremely clean and climate controlled. Unfortunately, the experience was not as smooth when vacating. Their customer service team and their local staff need do not seem to be on the same page with their information. Getting in contact with the local office is nearly impossible. I called several different times today and was mostly unable to reach anyone in the local office, but was sent directly to either customer service or a voicemail box. I spoke to someone in customer service two different times today who told me each time that I had until 10pm this evening to remove my lock in order to avoid being charged for another month tomorrow. Then, I received a call back from a local staff member at 5:45pm telling me I only have 15 minutes to come and take the lock off or I will be charged tomorrow. Thankfully, my bf was able to go right away and get it done but it was very frustrating to be told two different things. Despite this confusion, the local representative I spoke with was very nice and patient and listened very carefully when I expressed my frustration and was willing to wait until 6:15pm for my bf to arrive to remove the lock. I really appreciate this type of customer service and I feel like she went above and beyond to help me. I would just like it to either be easier to talk to a local team member or have the customer service team understand the policies of the local office more thoroughly to avoid confusion.

You get what you pay for i guess. It is clean, but do not expect any level of customer service. Entrance is usually blocked and push carts are hard to find. Staff only seem to be there to unlock the office and keep up on FB.Price did go up recently, regardless of a signed contract. So may be time to start looking at options.

Facility in Apex is good for storage standards, but what I dont like it is how they bait and switch you with their charges and dont tell you everything until youre there at move-in with your truck and have no choice but to pay the extras like using their insurance, locks, etc. They dont tell you that you can use your homeowners insurance either to avoid using their insurance as well! The final straw for me which will force me to move after only 5 mohths; they are increasing my monthly rate by nearly 20% even though Ive paid on time and regularly, etc.

Manager, Ginger Swanson inaccurately scheduled the truck rental for my friend the same day we confirmed the unit with a third-party representative. (SN: I was also on the line the day Ms. Swanson inquired of his time and availability for move-in and rental transportation.) Today moving in, she said they had him down for Monday and wouldn’t be able to rent the truck because they lost the reservation! She then “sporadically” recovered the reservation saying pricing didn’t entail the truck. Although my friend mistakenly forgot his cash deposit upon arrival—by the time he returned [AT HIS ALLOTTED appointment time], she informed him their systems were down and not ready. When I called to acquire more information before this post—she took no accountability for her mishaps, continuously spoke over me and had the audacity to say my friend lied about their computers momentarily being out of order this afternoon! Cherry on top is he isn’t even guaranteed a FULL REFUND for the headache and poor service received. Ginger is a pathological liar and youre better off renting from a facility with PRACTICAL prices and Staff that actually possess basic COMPETENCY to be a Manager let alone do the job!

Manager (Denisha) is very knowledgeable, very helpful and very friendly. Very thorough in showing us all of our available options. Because of the unavailability of the unit size we wanted, we were upgraded to a larger unit at the same monthly rate. So far, the process couldn’t have been any smoother.

This is the second time I have rented from them. First was during a move and had a large unit. This time I had a medium sized unit as I was painting and reorganizing parts of the house. So to make room, I moved items in and out of storage. Very clean place and nice people to work with.

Great staff. Very helpful. Great communication. Had a 15 x 30 unit. First month rent was free. Only ended up needing it for 29 days until I closed on my new house. Only paid of admin fees and the padlock. Felt bad that they really didnt make any money from my rental. But still, I would highly recommend. Plus you get to use their moving truck if you need it for only 10 bucks.

The lady in office is helpful and polite. Building is safe with cameras locks passwords. Air is nice when moving things around to.

We have been renting a 10 x 15 storage unit from Bee Safe storage since October, and we have been completely happy with the experience! The management team here is friendly and attentive and keeps the facility immaculately clean. The facility is well lit and easily accessible. We have indeed felt quite safe keeping our belongings here, and I would highly recommend Bee Safe to anyone looking for a self-storage location.

This is a fresh building so it is extremely clean. The staff there were very helpful and covered all the details in our rental agreement as well as the rental of their truck that we used for half a day. its only been a few weeks but so far were are pleased with the decision to use this facility.

Very difficult to get your stuff inside. It would be helpful to have more doors to enter into building. Everything was clean but my biggest complaint was we had a long way to carry furniture.

Would give 0 stars if possible - incompetent local management. I was given a locked unit that could not be opened until the next business day, costing a day of work and an additional day of truck rental. There are a number of outstanding storage options in the RDU area, there’s no reason to risk issues with Bee Safe Storage in Apex NC.

I selected this storage facility because of the close proximity and convenience, but I would drive out of my way to use them. Yes, it is a new facility so clean should be expected. But it is the people who have made the stressful time of moving such a positive experience. Denisha Williams goes out of her way to be accommodating and friendly.
