Great Coffee! And awesome staff! The place had lost its shine in the last few years but recently new owners took over and seems like the place is thriving again! Highly recommended if you want great coffee and their cream cheese danish are delish!!

I honestly love Dunn bros coffee, but I do not recommend that you go to this location. Recently, a long time employee quit because he was overworked. They do not treat their employees properly. Do not support them!

Our favorite coffee shop south of the river. Always the friendliest staff and quick to help. Make the best Americana with SF Almond & Chocolate. Our go to spot whenever we want to treat ourselves with a delicious cup of coffee and a scone.

DB is by far one of the best places to get your coffee in MN!! They roast their beans in-house and you can smell and taste the difference! My fav is hot or iced nirvana with pistachio and white mocha flavor.

Excellent coffee, and this location is no exception. If you’re not from the area give them a shot (ha).This location has always had friendly and helpful staff every time I’ve been through.Only downside is no drive through, but that can’t be helped!

The young lady taking our order was patient and accommodating and answered all of our questions thoroughly. All staff was friendly. One of our drinks was made incorrectly and they corrected it immediately with no issues.Social distancing and masking in place, clean establishment and you are able to sit inside.

Lavender tea with almond milk and pistachio muffins are good! Good place for a date with friends or even families!

My guilty pleasure is an iced nirvana! Vanilla is the standby, but banana is out of this world when they have it.

Not a Dunn Bros. regular so I didnt know their menu and had to ask for advise. Staff listened to what I wanted (cold, creamy but not a thousand calories) and made two quick recommendations. Payment was easy, service was rapid and the recommended drink (iced Nirvana) was delicious! A bit surprised to see staff was not wearing masks. Everything looked clean and sparkling. Social distancing was followed between staff and customers; not really enough space for staff to distance between themselves. Well, you do what you can with what you have, right?

Great experience. Helpful staff. Allows indoor seating but has several tables available outside. And the coffee was very good!

Great little coffee shop! Always greeted with a friendly smile and good attitude. The coffee is awesome! They use a two-shot standard for their small drinks and the coffee is quite a bit stronger than Starbucks. As the residential Community has grown up around this place it has gotten a bit busy. Just be prepared to wait if youre going at a very popular time.

Great food and drinks. My only issue is that when it’s slow and the employees have nothing better to do they tend to talk quite loudly and aren’t exactly professional. I’ve also witnessed them sitting on the counters where they prepare food and drinks.Also the bathroom is almost never clean.

No drive through. A little crowded definitely people within 6 feet. NOT COVID 19 safe. Bummer.

Oct 7th, 2020 at 10:30am. Poor service while ignoring customer (me). Two girls at the counter, both chatty with each other and with their “friend” customer. Girl at cash counter kept chatting with a woman in front of me, ignoring that I was waiting. Barista just dumped coffee on counter without acknowledging me, all the while talking with other girl.Not normal for this location, normally they are very helpful.

Great place to meet on Saturday mornings. Usually not too busy and always at least a couple seating options open. I feel its usually quieter than the typical Caribou or Starbucks, which is nice when youre trying to have a conversation. Staff are always super friendly and I appreciate that theres usually someone there asking if they can get my drink started if theres a line for payment/ordering.

Really a much better option than the major chains. Coffee is toasty, with out nearly as much bitter/sharpness. Fresh roast FTW. Breakfast sandwiches are handmade, not out of a plastic bag!

Dunn Bros is my favorite as its fresh roasted.My wife likes the cold-press Infinite Black. She makes her own foo-foo in the mornings and saves time and a few bucks each day. I especially enjoy the stronger drinks as DB adds more shots of espresso than the competition!

Nice store and helpful, friendly team members. A bit of a smaller store, but still very nice. Always tasty drinks made exactly how I want them! We really like Dunn Bros! Tip: Download their app and sign up for their emails! They do BOGO emails every once in a while, or trivia with a dollar reward! If you like sweet coffee drinks, try a Nirvana (any flavor)... They are super good!

A coffeehouse chain that has a mom and pop feel, Dunn Bros specializes in coffee beans roasted fresh each day. The signature Vanilla Iced Nirvana is a perfect cool down on a hot summer day. I also really enjoy the breakfast burrito and sandwiches, though they are pricier than most coffee shops. This location offers comfortable seating as well as a small patio.

Got here 2:55, before closing but were unable to order mocha because they shut down the espresso machine in anticipating of closing at 3:00.....which means no espresso either....they need to amend their closing time or post a last call time like a bar does.

This place is wonderful and its mainly because of the baristas. If you have the chance to get there when Reagan is working, youll get a good amount of laughs while youre being served. Shes super witty, so dont feel bad if it takes a moment to catch up. The coffee...wow! Outstanding!

All of the employees at Dunn Brothers in Apple Valley are extremely friendly! I come to this location very frequently and have never had a bad experience. You can tell they do their absolute best to give great service!

The staff are super nice every time I come in. I am pretty picky but they are very patient. They even bring the coffee to the table for you.The Tea Latte here is very good.And this is such a safe place! I like to be on my computer here. Lots of elderly and the atmosphere is very quiet for you to study. Starbucks sometimes lots of loud customers and Carribou is just always noisy.Best place to sit down and relax!

I had one of the best services I have ever had in a coffee shop at this Dunn brothers today! The man working was super nice and very genuine! I had my three toddlers with me and it could have been a stressful stop but was very delightful! He helped me make up my mind on what coffee to order. I usually get a vanilla iced nirvana and he told me I could put any flavoring in place for no extra cost and recommended a few different flavors. Went with salted caramel iced nirvana!!! He made my drink while I fumbled to get to my payment feature on the Dunn Bros app. I walked out a happy mama with happy kids! Thank you for your great service!!

The staff, service, and coffee at this Dunn Bros location are phenomenal. I have interacted with almost all of the employees and the manager, and they are all friendly, helpful, and skilled. They go above and beyond with regard to service. When I visit other coffee shop chains (in the rare event), I am usually a little disappointed because I am spoiled by the amazing staff and coffee at Dunn Bros in Apple Valley.After living on a street referred to as Coffee Row in Austin, TX and spending a lot of time in those wonderful establishments, I was concerned I would never find a coffee shop in MN with the same level of service and comfort, but Dunn Bros is so exceptional that I think it surpasses those coffee houses.

The staff is so helpful. They were out of a muffin I wanted and the young lady immediately suggested to other options, which were delicious. We had a hard time deciding on a coffee drink and there was a line. She was very pleasant and never made us feel rushed. Another sales person jumped in to help the other people. Coffee was outstanding and the manager even told us about a special Friday morning if free coffee before 10am! My new hanging place!

I honestly can’t figure out why anybody would choose Caribou or Starbucks when Dunn Bros is right down the street. Not only do they use premium coffee beans, but they are also freshly roasted IN THE STORE. Not to mention they their breakfast sandwiches and most of their bakery items are made fresh in the store every day. What I DO love is they there are still some folks who are swayed by Caribou marketing or Starbucks drivethru, which means that the lines are shorter here. But it’s really a shame because this place is the tops. (And super friendly staff, too!)

I cannot say enough great things about this fantastic staff and their accommodations. They always make certain I get what I want and I always feel relaxed when I leave the establishment. They truly epitomize customer service!

We stop here from Kansas City every time we come to Minneapolis. Jake and the staff take such good care of us. The service is great and we always take several pounds of their delicious coffee back to Kansas City to share with her friends.

I love this place. Weve been coming here for over 5 years and it has always been our favorite spot for coffee. The coffee is by far way superior to Starbucks or Caribou, the food is delicious, and the staff is very kind. The only minor complaint would be that the lounge like area has always been a little dirty. However, the rest of it far outweighs this.

Dunn Brothers can improve by not giving excuses and getting an attitude when a problem they caused happens. I dont not need to be sarcastically told that it is busy as the reason why I had to wait almost ten minutes for a pre prepared cold brew to be poured while others who were served after me got their drinks before me.

Ive been going to this Dunn Dro for a least 10 years! I like the coffee and the staff has always been wonderful. Their coffee is my favorite. My wife and I start our weekends by going there... like a mini date.

Dunn Brothers is my favorite coffee in town, especially their cold brew. You can’t beat the fresh roasted beans! The staff here is always friendly and knowledgeable on their menu. My only complaint is I wish they had more options for food like the larger Dunn Brothers locations.

Can you really beat coffee beans roasted in house? Coffee is Fresh with a capital F. The crew is laid back but hard working, and excel in customer service. Community information board is always updated, letting you know about current events going on in the city. They have quite the selection of pastries and breakfast sandwiches but havent tried those yet, although they look amazing!

Hello,I was here today because I needed a quiet environment to take an online class. At a shift change on 11/18 I was cut from the internet without even being spoken to.despite being polite as possible(I always do) I was bluntly laughed at when I made the Batista when I exchanged a very crispy dollar I put in their tip jar because I just wanted a the crispy one. They acted as though I was making it seem I as though I had tipped when I hadnt.
