As a side not, I asked if they happen to have an espresso cup anywhere as there was none visible on the shelves. Few minutes later the gal came from the back with one in her hand. After being a customer of Perks for two years and experiencing poor service; I was deihted to come here. Great fresh pastries and bagels. I had the Morroccan mint tea and a couple of chocalate Maccaroons. This is a real coffeehouse with great service by well trained staff. The owner of Perks needs to get her staff trained properly. Look no further than the Grind on the corner of Apple Valley and Bear Valley.

The Grind was clean, well maintained, and the staff were very helpful & friendly. However, in my opinion, the coffee drink (an iced Salted Carmel) was overly sweet and I couldnt taste coffee at all.

A love this copy shop. They have a frozen drink called the freeze that is Blended frozen coffee drink made with ice and vanilla ice cream its to die for. Topped with whipped cream and cinnamon its perfect.

The drinks I’ve had so far all taste the same.Salted caramel doesn’t mean chocolate, completely ruined the drink. That butter brickle blond one I was super excited for and it ended up tasting so gross. I couldn’t even drink it. Pretty disappointed I wasted my money here when I could’ve went to Starbucks where they never disappoint. Also, I was the only one in this place when I walked in. 6 people came in after me and they all got their drinks before me. The workers seemed to know these people, and they prioritize regulars over anyone else. I won’t go here again. Starbucks is immensely better as their drinks actually taste good.

This coffee shop always lures me back to Apple Valley despite moving from the desert to San Diego seven years ago! Ive never had a bad experience here, and the seattle freeze drink is the single best coffee-based drink Ive had in any coffee shop of my life. Ive tried and failed to get anything like it elsewhere!

First time Ive ever been there and was impressed by the quality and service. Good job, especially to Tyler. He waited on us and was very courteous and helpful.

Absolutely love this spot. They have a variety of different coffee based drinks. They have multiple sugar free syrups, and if you dont like coffee- they have hot chocolate and cinnamon apple cider

I will never go to Starbucks again cause of how they treat their customers during the pandemic. I have one request for TG. I waited 32 minutes for a drink and no one even spoke to me. There were customers in and out. I ordered on Joe and it never said it was ready. Yet I find out it was made and put in the freezer. Whomever makes drinks needs to clear it or say its ready please. Thank you for your delicious drinks. I will keep coming back unless the app continues to be a hold up.

The coffee is great and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is cozy, friendly and very intimate. The baristas are all really nice and they bring your orders out to you which is a nice little touch. I wish they could expand or open another location in Hesperia! Highly recommend!

Was harshly scolded by a cashier who told me I couldnt grab a disposable cup for myself because it was a health violation.But the cups are out front of register, right where customers pay. The cups are not well placed if customers arent supposed to be able to grab them.I shouldnt have been chastised by the cashier, in any case, regardless.It was a redheaded young lady.. This isnt how you should treat customers, ever.The cups are literally next to the credit card terminal, between the register and customer.Move the cups behind the counter if you dont want customers to grab them.But certainly never scold a customer over something like this, considering.The prices are a little less than Starbucks and this is the only reason I gave 2 stars.

I like to finish my bike ride with some good coffee and relax atmosphere so I go there often.Nice cozy place and decent with more variety coffee than starbucks.I say decent because I like stronger flavors but I know most people like milder flavors. Excellent pastry choices. It has lots of inside and outside sitting area with excellent service.

Insane wait times always, don’t order a bagel they’ll leave your bagel in the queue and pump out coffee for everyone who ordered after you before even starting the bagel.

I needed coffee brew boxes for memorial service. Everyone was helpful. When something went wrong with brew box they made it work with air pump containers. Coffee was great and service is exceptional. Thank you Grind House.

Im in week 9 of a life without the bitterness of Starbucks. I need my coffee, though, and am on the continual quest for local coffee houses that have great ambience, are filled with enchantments, and, most of all, have amazing coffee.How did I not know about The Grind?They are super friendly, there are lots of kitchy things to look at and buy, and their coffee is excellent!The corner is a little dark and its hard to see from Apple Valley Road, but its right by Lowes and kitty-corner from Target.Im sure this is nothing new, to locals, but its a must stop on my list, as if today.

This locally owned gem may be across the street from a big chain competitor, but nothing beats the personal and detailed service you receive at The Grind. The holiday decor always impresses. The quality brew is always fresh, and the pastries are delish. I love how they cut and cream your bagel for you!

I love the grind, they are super friendly and helpful when Im not sure what Im in the mood for. I only wish they had more milk substitutes for us dairy free peeps!

05/22 I gave 2 stars because there was a short-haired brunette girl in there that was really, really sweet. The other girl was red-head. Her interaction was bitter. No eye contact, and very, very rude. Im all for supporting local coffee, but the customer service is awful. The coworkers were rude to each other as well. People would come in asking about their drinks, but they were super short about explaining their product. Not selling the quality of their coffee at all. Id look into Tonyan or one of lifes perks over this coffee shop.

Omg, The freeze is 💣! I dont drink coffee ever but if I get the chance to get the freeze then I make exceptions.

My go to is always the freeze, its one of my favorite coffee drinks Ive had from any coffee shop. They employees are always very friendly and the orders are put out quickly. Definitely recommend stoping by and trying this local coffee shop out.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service. The Road Warrior is the bomb! The only complaint I have, hence only 4 stars, is that the bread for the breakfast sandwich was burnt. Its a good thing I noticed before the guy served it to me or else it would have tasted horrible. Then he burnt it again the second time! They need to train the employees how to cook better.

I love The Grind, the girls are always welcoming and have great customer service. But today I was just not welcomed at all, I come here a lot, and honestly I never had a problem with any of the girls getting my food right away. But one of the girls who was working, took her 20 minutes to do my grilled cheese, on top of that she burned it. I purchased a blueberry scone and I asked her to reheat it for me, after I asked her in the beginning to do so, she reheated it and took her another 10 minutes to get it back to me. The other girl, the one with the bright red hair got it for me instead of her. Through the whole time Im waiting for both my grilled cheese and scone, the girl with the brown hair giggles and talks away with the other girl in the red hair and with a guy that comes in. Horrible customer service, the girl in the red did a better job then her... This was on a Sunday, October 23rd at 5 pm. The girl in the red hair was sweet and had good customer service, but the other girl was just horrible in her customer service. I was not happy...

I have been going the Grind Coffee House for a few months. When I was there, I always sat back, enjoyed my frappes, kept to myself and bothered nobody. One day, I sat in my chair and waited for my frappe. The lady with the red curly hair walked up to me, handed me my drink, then told me in front of all the costumers that I cannot come here anymore. She said that costumers were making complaints that I made them uncomfortable. I asked her what I did to make them uncomfortable and she said that I was moving funny, talking funny and looking at them funny. I explained to her that I have Tourette syndrome. It’s a neurological disability that causes me to make these involuntary movements, voices and gestures. With no expression of empathy, she told me that I had to go. Having been told this in front of the costumers, I found the experience humiliating and disheartening. I have been too many coffee shops all over the country and have never felt so degraded like this. I’ve always thought of the coffee shop community as a place that embraces equality, acceptance and tolerance towards people with diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, disabilities, ECT. Apparently, that’s not the case with the people of Apple Valley, California and certainly not with the people of The Grind House Coffee shop. I am writing this review so that anybody out there who may have Tourette syndrome or other such disabilities, who wants to find a coffee shop with staff and costumers who would be understanding, accepting and welcoming of you, I find it highly unlikely that you will find that at The Grind Coffee House in Apple Valley, CA. Hopefully you will skip pass this area and not experience the rejection, humiliation and hurt that I experienced.
