I LOVE Joanns. Every time I come here, there are so many sweet ladies who help me out! Any questions Ive had to ask about recommendations for length of fabric or what materials to use, they have never led me astray. Although I mostly stop in whenever I need to make my yearly tie blanket, every project Ive needed help working on has been a success thanks to the lovely staff at Joanns. They have top tier products, excellent staff, and the store is kept very clean and organized :) 10/10 from me.
It has been a long time since I was in a Joann Fabrics. They have far more art and craft supplies than I remember. JF still has fabrics but they seem to be catering to a larger customer base. All-in-all, a nice clean store.
I went to Joanns yesterday with an idea and very little experience with the project I had in mind. I didnt know where to begin. Sherrie was so gracious and helpful in getting me started with fabric and a pattern. She deserves 10 stars for customer service!
Staff is always friendly & helpful @ this location! I dont need to go anywhere else for my crafting needs! (Psst they also have really cute Halloween decor)
I went here with my boyfriend to buy upholstery fabric, and the woman working the fabric cutting station was extremely unpleasant. Her name was Karen, and when she found out we were working on a home renovation project, she decided that was a great time to mention that she couldn’t believe people who weren’t married live together, and that “fornication” used to be a crime in Wisconsin. After looking to see if I was wearing a ring, which I wasn’t, she said “I could never move in with someone I wasn’t married to”, and glared at me like she was disgusted. I have never had such a bad experience at a Joann. I come here often and I love this store, but this woman should not be working with the public. I am a grown woman who owns a home with her boyfriend. This was beyond inappropriate for an adult woman to say to another adult. All I wanted was fabric to redo my barstools.

They Almost Always Have what ImL👀King for on each trip to their store.The only serious problem:I ALWAYS seen to leave with MORE than what was on my LIST!
It was wonderful for my wife who frequently shops there but from a mans point of view it is extremely boring! They need some man chairs to at least kill the time.

The staff are pretty friendly overall, but they always seem to not notice (or not care) when they are busier and you tend to wait in line at the cutting table and at check out - there is usually only one person at each. The selection is OK but Green Bays JoAnns is SOOOOO much better, better organized and more stock/selection of items!

Side Aisles were nice and stocked. Main aisles very crowded with displays and sale bins caused a bit of bottlenecking making it tough to maintain social distance.
I found the perfect fabric for the dress I want to buy, but there was only 2 yards. They were able to find the fabric at a different store and have it sent to my store, free of charge. They were very friendly and helpful!
If I had a million dollars, I would be here everyday. So many great quality items and ideas at much more reasonable prices versus competitors.Hannah, a Joann Fabrics and Crafts associate, was super helpful, personable and professional.I hope she is there in the future should I have questions and/or need assistance.

It was okay. Clean store. Lots of fun stuff. However, So many staff members but always finding items on my own. No one says hi as they pass customers or asks to see if they need help.
Beautiful store. While waiting in line talked to many people from out of town. Went on a Saturday. Go on a weekday.
Had some great luck when I stopped, my favorite buys during this trip was a tote bag and some cotton fabric. The prints on both are vintage retro and I love them! I got a 40% off coupon by email and there also was a 40% off coupon on the Joann app which the store did allow me to use both coupons when checking out.

Second time having a bad experience at this location. First time went in and the manager was just rude. Tried asking a few questions because I couldn’t locate it. Her response was must be online only when I could in fact see on the app that it was in store. Second experience said they closed at 9. We were held up and so we got there at 8:50. I need one thing, just some card stock which I already knew the color and amount needed. Walked up to the door and it was already locked. Different manager came out made sure the door was locked then walked right back in. Didn’t even say sorry we are closing early or anything. Just made sure we couldn’t get in. After this I will not go to this store again. I would rather drive further to go to a different one.
Way too much flannel. Couldnt find what I wanted for boys trouser. Looking for twill and left with thread purchased with coupon.

A large selection of craft supplies and fabric by the yard. Check out their sales online before stopping in to see if they have any online-only, or pick-up-only, or in-store sales. The sales are pretty good.
They have a good selection of things and I think their yarn is little to pricey.

Always searching for clearance items, they always have two and three yard pieces of fleece packaged up and ready to go, my kids fight over them for there beds, found some good pieces of material to cover the beds in our camper
Some stores have your coupons automatically connected to your account when you check outt that would be much more efficient. Your store had a lot of nice sale items.
Had almost everything I wanted, but a lot of thing were out of stock, and it’s difficult to navigate the store.
Staff was not friendly at all. I placed an order for pickup and when the associate came out to my vehicle she complained that I pulled to far forward for the pickup. I had assumed I should leave room for others to park behind me as well... Before I could even respond she shut my trunk and walked away.
The item I wanted wasnt there, but the staff was helpful and cheerful.

A good place to find hard to find items
My two biggest complaints about this store is their hours on the website are wrong and the selection. Every store is different. I had to go to 2 different stores to get what I needed.
They have a good selection of fabric and craft supplies. Store can be a bit disorganized especially during sales and when them change over displays
I walked up to the cutting desk no what can I help you with? asked a lady for nylon fabric and she mumbled we dont really have any nylon. Walked me over to a different fabric she said was sport fabric witch was not. I went to Oshkosh location Not only did I find the fabric I was looking for A lady I talked to was much more willing to help me and not with overly fake excited just like a helpful person.The topper she said that Appleton should have more NYLON than us. Always going to Oshkosh from now on.
I went in to buy a cross stitch book and they dont even have cross stitch books, only kits.

Service is really hit or miss. Either you have someone super knowledgeable that is somewhat short on manners. Or someone super polite and less knowledge able. Overall they do ok.
Took a beginning sewing class in Appleton. The instructor was clearly very knowledgable in a wide variety of machines; she knows her teaching materials and articulates them so theyre understandable and the information is usable. Attended with 2 friends and we all left feeling the class was worth our time, money, and the drive from Fond du Lac. Very enjoyable and informative.
The Ladies at the cutting table were so helpful. One young lady was putting fabric away and helped me pick out some fabric to go with what I had already chosen. Thank you so much.
Good sales
It was really busy, especially where they cut the fabric. Very pleasant, helpful.
Called into see if they had a specific adhesive and if they could hold it at the front for me. The guy I spoke with on the phone was very nice and willing to help. Went in later to pick up the product and unfortunately was not given the same experience. A lady named Roxy was assisting me at check out and was incredibly rude. Seeing the comment below me I wouldnt be surprised if it was the same lady she was at the far end of the counter nearest the door. Not someone I would want working with my customers.
Love to shop here 😁. Especially enjoyed the after Christmas sales. Yarn sales in January are always fun. There selections are wonderful.
A great place to get items for sewing

Theres long lines due to the covid regulations so make sure you go there with time on a weekend! Other than that, they had great service!
Service is always top notch. Cant wait until they get decent prints at a decent price. Got to keep an eye on sales and email coupons for biggest bang for the buck.
I went into the Appleton store at approximately 1:30 pm today. There were a fair amount of people in the store, I stood in line and waited my turn for one of the two checkouts that were open. When checking out I realized I only had a $100 bill. After scanning, coupons etc I attempted to hand the cashier my $100 bill asking her if it was ok. She told me no, she didn’t think so and stood looking at me. I told her thank you anyway and left empty handed.I am dumbfounded that a store with two registers open and a line of people could/would not cash a $100 bill at that time of day!

I love this fabric store. This location has many choices for fabrics and crafts, including upholstery fabrics, threads, ribbon, buttons, and paterns. Good service friendly and helpful staff, good location, plenty of parking and handicap accessible.

The store has quite a selection, though not for vintage sewing machines like mine. No stars off for that. What did drop my rating was the price on common items - easily twice the price for thread and sewing machine oil as other stores... for identical items! I returned and purchased elsewhere.
I dropped a penny on the floor and the employees helped me find it. Super good customer service! :)

My friend and I had to get fabric. Lynn and Karen at the desk decided that talking was more important than helping us. After awhile of talking, Karen treated my friend horribly. She had such a fit with me when my friend went to get a new fabric because it was cheaper. She said to me, Am I supposed to cut this or what? and rolled her eyes. When my friend brought her nearly the same fabric for cheaper, Karen says, Oh, are you shopping for a gift on a budget? Then, she just put the original fabric behind her and rolled her eyes, because she mustve thought it was so hard to walk two feet.Very unfriendly, inexperienced, and unprofessional. We will not go back.

Always the place to go for fabric, fun projects, and the women that work there are so, so helpful!! They dont just stop with the coupon you hand them, they are so informed they use every coupon that you may not know you can use. Just awesome people
Wish there were more options for clothing making. Most fabric there is fleece, quilters cotton and flannel. Otherwise decent selections for most crafting.

Anywhere I have gone to any Joann Fabrics has always been a very good experience. I find many arts & crafts here that often are on sale, as well as gifts for others. My love loves to sew so this peaks her interests as well.
