Store manager really needs to give more attention to customers waiting. They had three employees working and he wouldnt help customers, his only concern was checking in people as they walked into the store. If he had helped customers I wouldnt have had to wait 40 minutes just to activate a phone that wouldnt activate for me! Verizon Corp needs to look into the training on how to keep customers flow moving better.

Manager was very cold and pretty much flat out said he wasn’t going to help and then when he did he just put the phone on the account he walked away and that was it. No one helped set up the phone or even took it out of the box. I Had to help set up friends phone for her and make sure it was working as Ben did nothing to help. Was walking around talking and joking with other workers instead.

Had a short wait, individual was not as knowledgable as I thought others have been in the past and did admit it. He has poor skin condition thru out his hands, fingers, and arms which could be covered with sleeves, and gloves for customer safety. All had masks on and looked affective.

Id give it 0 stars if I could. Tried to return a phone after a relative passed away. Was told over messages it would only take a few minutes if I bring it in. When I brought it in they told me they cant process the return. Even after I showed them the screen shot of the message. Told me to call they had to reactivate the phone and it would take a while to do. Someone please tell me how processing a return phone for a dead relative is so difficult? Will be going to a different company as soon as my contract is up. I notice in your response nowhere dose it answer the question. Of how they couldnt process a return? You expect me to give you another chance when you cant even answer the first question I had. What a surprise. I asked a question and I still dont have it answered.

I went with Verizon because i heard alot of good about them, unfortionately i recieved a phone that was defective, i went back to the store and they tested out my phone and concluded it was a defective phone, that phone was discontinued and the people at Verizon were very professional and did everything in their power to make it right with me. I applaud Verizon for putting the cusrttomer first..

What terrible business. I have been charged a $5 surcharge for years that I have on no less than a dozen times removed, asked to have removed, and been assured that it would be removed from my bill. My fault for not checking next statement to make sure they removed it but once again, one week later after being told that it wouldnt show up again Im sitting now in my car for 30 minutes waiting to talk to somebody about having it removed with absolutely zero confidence they will have it removed.Purchased an in-stock phone online from store parking lot and the app tells me it will be ready by 8:00 p.m. After I sign the agreements online the confirmation says it will be shipped to my house 5 days later. Walked into the store 3 minutes after ordering and Im told by the store that they cant stop the phone because its already been shipped. Even Amazon doesnt move that fast.

We walked in ready to buy a new phone but with questions and where basically told that they wouldn’t help us, asked to leave and figure it out online by ourselves. Basically told that as a part of company wide response to covid we couldn’t touch phones or spend time in the store. We then went to another verizon store across town and the difference was night and day. They where extremely helpful, spent time with us in store, showed us and allowed us to handle all our options, and they ended up saving us a lot of money with exactly what we wanted. The employee we talked to in this store was extremely rude and lazy. Just drive across town for some far better customer service

Went in to add a line to my plan. Salesman told me my price per line would go up by over $20. He gave me a 1-800 number to call to add a line instead, claiming over the phone I’d be able to stay on the same plan at the same rate. I’ve got better things to do than argue with dumb sales reps, so I went on the app and added a line with no problems and without adding an extra $20 per line. Unfortunately, now have to wait a couple days on the phone to be delivered.

This place doesnt even deserve a TERRIBLE rating. Multiple times both my wife and I have set-up appointments only to be sent on our way without help. many employees give different and conflicting directions. We had multiple problems with new phone we bought from this store, and the store DOES NOTHING. Weve gone the route of helping ourselves, talk to techs, and its like a cloud of NOTHING in this store. I have NO IDEA of the VERIZON business model. When C19 is over, I am thinking their excuses will go away and so will customers. As usual ...a one star reqd to post.

Great phone service, okay prices, ABYSMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE OVER THE PHONE OR WEB. They will just transfer you to other people to help but they will not inform the new person whats going on and they wont actually be able to help and so I wasted 50 minutes of my day waiting on transfers for nothing to get done. You lost a decade long customer and Im taking my family with me.

Stopped in at the Verizon store this morning with my wife both of us we’re not allowed to go in I was in the process of buying a new phone and they told me basically I had to go in by myself and I don’t know that much about them I am 71 yrs old have a 6+ now and it is not working very properly wanted to buy a new phone but would not do it without my wife being with me think I’ll haveTo check AT&T or US cellular I can’t believe Verizon can’t give us the service we are looking for. We were both masked and ready to buy, what is wrong with this picture? They are terrible at answering phone calls even 10min before they close. I have been working on having hot spot on my phone for 5 hours and they still led me to the same number each time whom does not help at all. I am sorry to say that normally these people are good at what they do, but this time they have failed deeply on helping with deeper accommodations

Went to this location because of trouble with my phone. The girl that greeted us was not the person who should be in customer service. She said she couldnt do anything with the phone and thought we should have a new phone . Passed on that suggestion and went to the Verizon store by the mall. Went in, was greeted by young man, told him the problem with he phone and in 3 minutes he has it fixed. Even went so far as to escort us to the door and hold it open for us when we left. What a difference!!!

We had a current Verizon business account that had a bunch of old phones that we were looking to upgrade and maybe change our plan around a bit. Our business account manager Cassandra Vincent had recently been appointed our account. We met with her at the Appleton East location and told her our intentions. She came up with a plan that worked for us. We have text and emails to back this up. We got the new phones and had nothing but trouble with technical issues switching them over (entire separate conversation). Finally got them switched over and things working fine. Then we got our bill...........long story short, not what we agreed to. Met again with Cassie and told her that we were not happy and this is NOT what we agreed to. She said she had to work on it and would get back to us at the end of the day. She got back to us and basically pointed fingers etc and said that now we had to deal with a billing person. We ended up calling Verizon business and within 40 minutes had our plan figured out. In conclusion, if you have a business accout, call Verizon business direct. They are non-commissioned and are there to lookout for you as a business owner.

Have to do everything yourself now when upgrading to a new phone. Store on West side of town had no screen protectors for their new Galaxy s20. They should have walked me through installing the screen protector but instead told me Id have to do it at home and now its all messed up and Ill have to make another trip to the store

Staff was rude. Both the manager and sales associate. Made my wife and I feel like we didn’t know what we were talking about as we weighed the pros and cons of different purchase plans. Also made us feel like we were making a foolish decision when we wanted the iPhone 6s for $0.99 instead of the brand new $700 iPhone 8. Bummed that we chose to buy a case and 2 screen protectors in store as opposed to on Amazon where they are much cheaper. Pretty much what I expected when we walked in.

When I upgraded my phone with Verizon, they sold me a tablet at a Christmas special rate of $30. When they were giving me their spiel, I specifically asked them whether there were any charges I would be seeing on my Verizon account and what the monthly charge would be for this phone and was told there were no other charges and no monthly charge. Tablet bought and given to my husband as a Christmas gift. Now we have been charged a $35 activation fee, plus we are being charged $10 per month.Called Verizon Wireless: We can return the tablet before 1/15 and get our $30 refunded or we can buy the tablet outright at $170 and not use their data. They will not refund the activation fee or the $10 charge already incurred.Called Verizon Store on East Calumet in Appleton: They wont credit any fees, will give me a $10 gift card if we return the tablet, and will do a better job training their associates.Excuse me but your associate outright lied to me. Not only am I out a Christmas gift for my husband, but I now have to take the time to wipe out the tablet, repackage it, drive it back to the store, still pay the activation fee and the $10 charge Ive already gotten and you are giving me a $10 gift card? Not acceptable. Weve talked to a manager at both places. Why is it that a store can be deceitful and I have no recourse?

I have not been very happy with the verizon team! I have an 85 year old father who has not uesd his phone or service for quite a fe ew months now.I have been trying to cancel my elderly mother and fathers lines for three months now including bringing them to the Appleton store, its amazing that they can create an acount there but cannot cancel one there.I have tried to contact the loyalty team10/17 with 17 min listening to elevator music. 11/7 23 min. Of same music 12/20 24 min of same stuff. Today after leaving the store and trying to contact the loyalty team it was 31 minutes before i hung up.My parents are paying 80 dollars plus a month for a service their not using and i cant seem to get to anybody that can help me.The term LOYALTY TEAM ISNT WORKING FOR ME.

The store is very very clean and organized, and the employees were friendly! But now lets list the bad: the shelves were not fully stocked, the place is located jammed right next to a Jimmy Johns and a Starbucks which is horrible given the 20 parking stalls allotted for all 3 businesses and I absolutely hate the check is assistance they offer at all Verizon stores. Nobody available to just quickly check out ever, all employees constantly helping with selecting a phone and setting people up. Rather inconvenient if you ask me.

My wife and I went to the Verizon in ashwaubenon and we were helped by carmen. Let me just say she was very rude and didnt know what she was doing. We were there for over two hours and my wifes phone still wasnt hooked up. We left and went to the Verizon on Calumet st in Appleton and the service was amazing!! The person that helped us was very helpful and we got my wifes phone up and going in less than 15 minutes

Worst customer service from a wireless carrier store Ive had... Only benefit was a short wait... But even then with no other customers waiting they had no interest in helping me with a sale I fully intended to make. And they fully expressed that they had no concern for retaining my business... Literally... I despise coming here and avoid it at all costs. Employees never seem very informed on their own products, and every time we ask a question it takes forever to get an answer. Waiting times are always long too and theres never a comfortable location to wait at within the store. Do not buy phone accessories from here, they are way overpriced. Check with Amazon first.

Completely understaffed. If youre not one of the first 2 or 3 people when they open count on being there for at least an hour, probably closer to two. When I had an issue with my account I had to go there several times in just a few days. It was unbearable. Typically, I dont get this upset about a phone; however, I run a business from my phone, Thanksgiving Day/weekend is the worst day to be without a phone when running a business.Verizon, I am not happy what so ever with your service. First you sell me a phone in which the battery lasted less than a year (really?); then you tell me it will have to be replaced (not a new phone, remind you, it is a used phone, this is what I get for paying your provided insurance on my device?) and that it will deliver overnight to my home; then it really isnt overnight, it is going to take 3 days for delivery and all you can say its out of our hands!!! We have been a loyal customer for over 15 years and this is the kind of service I get. NOT HAPPY!!!! Time to search for another wireless carrier!

Seemed like we were not important. There was a long delay to pick up an order that was already placed and we were notified via email that the store was ready for us to pick it up. Once we got the phones it seemed like the sales rep was walking us out the door right away. We got to ask one question, he quickly got a sheet for us with the answers and walked to open the door. He didnt really help us or seem to want to help us. We felt like we were in the way. Complete opposite experience from what we had online and at the other Verizon store (Appleton WEST). Definitely will never go back to Appleton EAST Verizon.

I had bought a new phone outright from this store because I am a prepaid customer. While they were setting my phone up he had said that the plan I had just bought for the month a few days ago would be gone. So just not wanting to wait I said sure. After I had left the store my friend had told me he had just bought a new note 5 for prepaid and switched to it from his old phone in the middle of the billing cycle. So I had called customer service and explained my the situation and they had said that they didnt know why they would do that and they credited back what they charged me back to my debit card. All I can say is not amused.

First time I went here I wanted to see if they would price match Best Buy (which is literally down the road) on a phone upgrade so I could deal with Verizon directly, but the sales person said they dont price match their competitors ad sales. When asked about matching their competitors phone service deal (Sprint) the salesperson also said no, and that even if their plans offer more, they had superior phone service. His tone was almost arrogant to the point of go ahead, were better and youll be sorry you did.Stopped by again years later and wanted to see if they could try activating an unlocked phone for me on one of my lines, immediately received at the door only to be immediately turned away because they dont activate my model of phone on their network. When asked about all the other phones of my type on their network he said those are ones purchased on their network and were programmed already. I guess all the people on the internet who have done this already were wrong apparently (yeah right; Apple phone btw). Went online and did a chat with a Verizon rep and lo and behold, they went to activate the phone. No ridiculous explanations of we dont activate that entire line of phones.Bottom line, unless youre going to make them money in this store, dont expect help or a deal. I wasnt asking the world the first time I stopped in to get an upgrade, just price match your friggin competitor. Nope, didnt want my money. And I guess it was a fools errand to even TRY to get support at the store. As soon as I heard that ridiculous explanation, I knew I was wasting my time.

I work for a different company setting up contract (postpaid) and prepaid phones for customers. For my phone service I have Verizon, and I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I had to send in my S7 Edge to Samsung for some warranty work and I got a Verizon compatible phone from an online retailer that was being shipped to my house. It didnt come with a sim card and the one in my S7 Edge was a different size so I couldnt use it in the new phone. I called this Verizon store and told the gentleman on the phone that I needed a micro sim card and asked how much it cost. The man asked me if I was a Verizon Customer, I told him that I was and he told me that there would be no charge for the sim card. I thanked him and said I would stop at store later in the day and he said the he would see me then. A few hours later while on my lunch break from work I went to this Verizon store and there was a man at the front door adding customers to the stores queue line. He asked what I needed and I told him I had called about a micro sim card and that the gentleman said that because I was a customer I could have one for free. The man had a puzzled look on his face and said that they dont give those out for free. I told him thats not what I was told on the phone but that it was fine I needed it so I could pay for it. He added my name to the queue and said I was up next, I thanked him and started looking around the store at different phones. I dont normally go to the retail stores because they work on commission and try to get you to buy everything. They also usually have poor customer service, which was my experience on this day. I was waiting for about 20 mins, while waiting I noticed some employees standing around talking to each other, three employees were helping one person and the guy doing the queue line was just standing there not even answering questions for people looking at phones. He finally looked over and noticed that I was getting annoyed and came over and said that he could take me to where the cards were. I followed him and he brought me to a wall of over priced SD cards. I said that wasnt what I was looking for and told him again I needed a micro sim card. He asked if I had the phone with me that needed to be activated, I told him I didnt that it was being shipped to my house that day. I explained that I also set up phones for my job so I just needed the card since I could set it up myself. He told me that he couldnt help me, I needed to bring in the phone and the store had to set it up. I again explained that I called and was told I could get a sim card for free and the gentleman on the phone never said I had to bring in the phone to get activated. He told me that I had to have the phone so the store could set it up, it was store policy. I thanked him for wasting my time and left. From the parking lot I called the store, a woman answered and I asked to speak to a manager. The woman told me she was a manager and asked what I needed. I explained the whole story from the beginning and when I was done she said Well what do you want me to do about it? I told her I wanted a sim card like I was told I could have over the phone and that I would even pay for it. She said that if she gave me a sim card it wouldnt work unless it was activated at the store. I told her that I knew that wasnt true since I set phones up for work and Ive set my own up at home on many occasions. She then said Well its store policy so theres nothing I can do for you unless you bring in the phone. I said thanks for not helping a customer and hung up. I then had to go online and buy a sim card and have that shipped. Moral of the story, dont go to a retail location if you need help. I always call Verizon customer service or talk to them on the chat on the Verizon website and Ive never had anything less than great customer service. At retail locations they care more about making money off commission than helping the customer. The only reason they wanted me to activate the phone at the store was so they could make their numbers look better.

Okay here is MY story from Verizon in Appleton,,I ordered Verizon phones from Customer service, I received the Wrong phones, I was suppose to get Iphone 7 plus, I received regular iphones. Then I called Customer service, they were giving me the run arounds a bit here and there.I was a kinda upset, it was my first day on the Verizon team before I was with Sprint since 2015. Customer service told me that there was a Gold Iphone 7 plus at this location (Appleton Wi, Calumet)So I drove out of my way to go to this store.I was approached by someone Named Tom, he explained to me that there was NO iphone gold in the store!! I was thinking (im done with SPRINT AND NOW VERIZON!!! I had it!!!)BUT,,,, he did explain to me that he was going to call around and check other stores, He said Green bay had a store with a Gold Iphone, but he was going to call to make sure it was there turned out phone was not in stock.He then explained to me AND APOLOGIZED FOR WHAT HAPPENED AS IF HE DID THE MISTAKE... for someone to come out and say they are sorry FOR SOMEONE ELSE MISTAKE is literally above and beyond customer service to ME.I have dealt with Sprint and it is dreadful experience for a customer!!He didnt stop there, he called around to see if other places had phones, he treated me as if EVERYBODY is on a Verizon team, not just a store of competition with OTHER Verizon STORES.I think His manager (female) that I spoke with a bit seemed cool as well!! (professional with kind attitude) Unlike others who just focus whats best for themselves!! (sorry i didnt get your name, but tom spoke to you with my situation, he should remember lol)Toms customer service was very professional, he explained to the T. He explained what he was going to do and what we can do. He spoke to me as if the trouble was hurting us BOTH! He spoke to me not like I was a kid, but same time not like I knew Verizons lingo!! He helped above and beyond as if I was Related!! Not just a Customer! A Team Player!!Because of Tom, I decided to stay with Verizon, I am not mad anymore for driving over an hour and more of my time spent. I walked in the store PISSED, came out with NO phones and happy and still with Verizon!!!only bad thing I have to say about the store is there were other workers around talking and joking as if they were 13. Compitition isnt everything. Not to knock them, but If a customer walks in like me, and sees playing at a store kidding around about other Verizon Stores, I think to myself this is where MY HARD earn money is going to support a business like this? Then I hear one guy tell a customer as they walk to the exit. You need to get a thicker jacket, customer says. Oh I got it in the truck, before the customer can finish the kid responses. Ooookaaay,, Im thinking man this kid is Cocky!! He just wanted to make a SALE!! It only gives a very BAD IMPRESSION AND SECOND THOUGHTS.If it was not for Tom and (i think his supervisor) female who helped.I would be with U.S Cellular as a customer.I recommend asking for TOM at this Location, and or drive from a different Verizon, to this location and ask for Tom until other stores learn what customer service is.Thank you very much!Tom + customers = saving Verizon!!((4 star rated because of store atmosphere would have been a 5 if better))

Great cell service but to expensive. Need to lower their prices to be competitive with other carriers.
