I just want to warn everyone about taking their computers to Like New PCs (on 52nd off of Wadworth). They are thefts and they stole expensive products/parts from their customers. In addition, they pay customer to write good reviews.

I brought my older MSI gaming laptop in for some help with diagnostics (slow disk and network I/O and random reboots). Paige (sorry if I misspelled that), helped me to troubleshoot and identify a failing, conventional hard disk. Within a weeks time, they had my PC repaired and back in my hands. Thank you Paige (and everyone else at Like New PCs), I really appreciate your help!

These guys are THE BEST!!! Purchased a refurbished desktop computer from them in August, 2013. It lasted eight-plus years... so when it was finally going thru its death throes, I returned to Like New PCs for another refurbished desktop computer.Sadly, this one ran great for only six-plus months. Two weeks after its warranty expired, it sputtered... hissed... crackled... and wouldnt boot. I returned to Like New PCs, fearing a costly repair bill at a time I could not afford any unexpected bills.But... the guys there extended my warranty, so all I paid for was the diagnostics to figure out what had happened. Five hours after I dropped off my unit, it was up and running again, at no charge to get it repaired.I am beyond grateful for Like New PCs kindness and ethical business practices.

Excellent service and diagnostic skills. Very patient and helpful....able to explain issues in language a non-tecky can understand and assimilate.. I have had this computer for 3 years and was ready to discard and get a new one due too continuous problems. I had had two other diagnostics work on it and the same problems reoccurred shortly after they returned the computer. The techs at LIKENEWPCs solved all the issues and the computer has never run better or more efficiently! They were very patient in explaining all the nuances I needed to know in order to maintain the new programs installed on the computer. I am from Louisiana and was likely to stumble on to them during my visit to Denver! The total cost to repair was less than the price of a new computer and all fees were explained before work was done....no hidden fees! Thank you for a job well done

Very bad customer service and they charge extremely high fees.

I took my computer into Like New PCs for repairs for the first time in July. they repaired it and it worked fine until November. In November it crashed again and would not reboot. They repaired it again. In January it crashed again and would not reboot, same issue that was the original problem. When I called to see if it was covered under warranty the person on the phone said that it was over 30 days and it was out of warranty. He then explained to me that a computer is like a car and sometimes you just need to keep bringing it back for repairs. I did not like his answer after I had already spent several hundred dollars with them on repairs. I have now opted to find another repair shop and had good luck and no issues.

I had an odd error that wouldn’t allow me to connect to WiFi or hardline on my gaming pc. On top of that my windows activation key was acting up and wouldn’t allow me to make changes because it didn’t recognize my profile as admin. Took it in at noon and they performed a diagnostic and system restore and my wife was able to pick it up the same day. Will most definitely use their services again once my own technical skills are exhausted!

I just want to warn everyone about taking their computers to Like New PCs (on 52nd off of Wadworth). I took my 9 month old laptop in because of power issues (it wouldnt turn on). I paid the $70 diagnosis fee and they returned it the next day (it powered up). When I asked what was wrong they replied the battery was really low and they just charged it. 3 days later, same problem, so I took it back. This time they said the problem was because the cord wasnt connecting in to power the motherboard/battery correctly but it was something on the motherboard (not a daughter board) so I needed to replace the whole thing. I originally had paid $350 for the laptop so didnt want to spend too much, but they said it would $277. They had my computer for a week and I finally got it back. It worked for 20 days, then same problem. I took it back and they told me it now needs a new batter $140. I talked to their employee Dominic saying it seems like they misdiagnosed it and I never needed a new motherboard. He said they had NEVER misdiagnosed a computer. I asked to talk to the manager/owner and he refused. He told me the owner had another full time job and was never there, and he was not available to call. I asked him to have him call me within 48 hours, and Dominic was very rude. No word from the owner. I am guessing Dominic never told him, as I cant believe they would be in business for so long if the owner was a jerk. Im still waiting to hear back from the owner. He really needs to know his rude employee is losing him customers. If any of you are friends with the owner (it says his name is Timothy Mayo on the website), let him him know he is losing customers.

Bought one of your Web-Cams this summer. Cost was $29 & some cents people tell me the web-cam is High Quality,the guys said it would last a year or more. When it stops working I will be back. The guys were very nice, freindly,and will go back for all my PC needs. Thank you

I called about a laptop screen. I said I just need to pick it up and not have it installed. I was told that would be fine and they had it in stock. I drove 20 min down and the next guy said, no we dont sell laptop screens. He even called and they confirmed they earlier guy said they would sell it to me. They wouldnt honor the sale even with no return. If they cant honor what one of their staff tells a customer then what else are not not honoring.

These guys are great. Fast, friendly and did exactly what they promised in the time they said they would. I would absolutely go there again. I found them trustworthy and dependable and my new computer is perfect for what I needed.

Dominic listened to my description of the problem on my (Windows 7) laptop, and suggested running a diagnostic to see what the problem(s). He could have tried to selling me something, but he was very professional and suggested the diagnostic, instead of assuming the problem was a bad drive.Im looking forward to doing more business with them.

Buyer beware. This company let me purchase a Dell monitor from their website even though their website is dormant. They refunded my money and then offered to sell me the monitor for $20 more. They then sent me the wrong monitor. After calling them for 2 weeks to replace it, they told me I had to pay for shipping to send it back to them. Also, every time you call these guys they tell you the person you need to speak with isntthere, of course. When I told their employee John that I shouldnt have to pay for shipping again because of their mistake, He told me I shouldnt have bought it on the website because they do pick up only. What? You guys sold me the monitor over the phone and mailed it to me. Now they are demanding I pay for shipping to return the monitor or they wont refund my money. I told John I would be calling the Better Business Bureau and he didnt care.

I called yesterday. Spoke to a very amiable person, Spencer, who quoted me an estimate, and stated that if i brought the computer in today, by noon, they could have the work done by closing, or at most the next day. Took an hour off work to drive there, and the person there today quoted me a price 40% higher, and said they only have 2 fans and if one doesnt fit I wont get my PC back until they order it, could be 2 weeks. Waste of my time and actually the definition of bait and switch. When i first walked in the door he was talking to a customer on the phone about Salvaging the relationship. I should of known right there and then.

I had a positive experience with Like New PCs. My laptop needed a new hard drive and I was able to walk in with out an appointment, and within 2 days I got my laptop back. Which is working so well, so Thank you! Im very happy I went with Like New PCs. They have fair prices for repairs and they got it done quickly.

Bought an iMac and the fiancé wants to return it. They only offer in store credit and only the manager can authorize a return. It’s been almost a week and no one has called us back; even after some attempts to check if manager was at the store. Apparently the guy never shows. It’s incredibly rude what they’re doing. Shame on you. I’ll never go back nor will I advise anyone to visit this store. Might have to call the BBB. Apparently the owner/manager seems to only responds to reviews here and can’t return a phone call from almost a week ago!

I came to this place to have a new gaming rig built. There was a small mixup with the parts on the initial build, but they went out of their way to make everything right and made a real beauty of a machine for me. Not disappointed!

We initially had some slight miscommunication about the pricing and the first time I got my computer back it didnt turn on, however I took it back and they worked on it for several days to be certain it was fixed at no additional charge. Now it works like its brand new!

Im an IT guy, but I had an annoying problem with my high end PC, which I built a few years ago, that I just couldnt track down - spontaneous, random restarts, with no errors or event log entries.After many hours of trying whatever I could via BIOS, OS and software, I took it in. Spencer narrowed it down to the power supply by trial and error, ordered me a replacement, installed it, and its been right as rain ever since. Very reasonable charges - I dont think I could have done better anywhere else, well worth it.Wish Id done it sooner - these guys are like having a good, honest car mechanic, but for computer stuff.

Ive had different computers serviced here over the years - all positive. Purchased my current used laptop there, excellent machine. Just had a minor service need on the laptop. Again, fast, courteous, competent.

I thought I had a rather simple job for them to do, I needed my information transferred from my iMac to a portable hard drive. When I picked it up and checked the information on the hard drive I found that they had given me someone else’s information. Now I don’t know about you but I for sure do not want to share the information on my computer with unknown people. I went back to see if they could do the originally requested job I got attitude from the older woman that did it. She claimed that it was the information from my computer. With that I snapped I got my money back and will never return. I went to Denver Mac Repair to get the job done correctly. They were able to give me 1.3 T of info versus

I went in here to get my iphone camera working. Went in the the gentlemen were super nice and quick to fix my need. They charge $59 just to spend 20 minutes looking at the computer and tell me what I already knew--that everything looks fine and it may need a new power supply. Apple meanwhile doesnt charge anything to look at the computer and will tell you what is actually wrong.

So I am not a computer person, at all, and as such I am consistently afraid I will be taken advantage of at computer stores but when my Ramen noodles spilled on my Mac, in the store it must go. I have been with Like new PC for the past 10years or more and they have always taken care of me. Yes, there are times you hear what you dont want to hear but it is better than having to go completely blindsided and overcharged. Jeremiah and Brandon have always been very honest and given me the best rates they can. I highly suggest them for anyone who needs another computer from rebuilt to custom.

I took my laptop to get the hinge fixed. I get it back and the charger ((a.c. jack) is apparently broken. It worked when I took my laptop in and they told me they would put a new jack in for $85. I told them no they did it any way then when I went to pick it up I had to wait while they put my back back in which by the way pretty sure not my original jack the charger doesnt fit in right. I wish I would have never taken my laptop to them because now I dont have one. Horrible experience

After several issues, everything finally got sorted. It was a frustrating experience for a simple power supply install, and one of my fans is somehow no longer working, but my computer is at least working again.

I have purchased and serviced several used computers from Like New over that past 10 years and, for the most part, have been pleased with the pricing and service they gave. On a couple of occasions, service was a little slower than I was accustomed to, but they usually have a pretty quick turn-around. Being a regular customer, they sometimes gave me substantial price breaks and actually did services free a few times.

Bought two used laptops. They were very helpful in setting up parental filters on the one for my son and helped when I had to come back for assistance. Wonderful staff and good prices.

They will sell you a laptop without a charger then ask for $60 for it later. I got the proper charger from Action Computer for $23.

Had very good experience at Like New PCs. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. I asked to replace broken screen on my laptop. Less than 4 hours later they called me that the laptop was ready for pick up. Price was reasonable too!

Little pricey considering the parts are used . I picked up a tube of thermal CPU greese and mentioned it didnt look full and was assured I would be able to do 8-10 CPUs .It was 10 bucks and change and was just enough to do 3 CPUs.Got a 1Tb hard drive about $30 and its for a Mac.Could have got a new 1Tb WD for 50 Im hopefull this was an isolated incident.

My 10-year old desktop hard drive and video card went out at the same time. The guys at Like New PCs diagnosed the issues, replaced the problem hardware and I was good to go, all at a price that I could live with. Give them a try!

They sold me an iMac that broke two weeks after I bought it, and they wouldnt repair it unless I paid for it(even though they say it comes with 60 day warranty), they did give me 20% off on the repair, but the repair was almost as much as a new computer. I am never going back to this place the way they do business is unethical.P.S. all the good review they post themselves, dont trust these crooks.

I was just in there too the other day looking at laptops and one was flickering it and he immediately unplugged it to take it off for sale. Their computer and hardware prices advertised on 2nd hand websites are about double what they should be. Definitely preying on moms with no clue about what they should pay for a system.** Edit for example. They are selling a 240 GB inland SSD on offer up for $99. This is sold for $30 on amazon

I had bought a Ryzen 5 3600 and installed it myself but my motherboard wasn’t support so the bios chip corrupted and all that. I had went and bought a motherboard and took it in to LikeNewPCs and they installed everything for me and I still had all my same files and all of that. This was my 2nd time using LikeNewPCs I would definality recommenced this place for any PC Support you need!

Had water damage on my iMac and brought it in to their store. Works perfectly now and saved me from buying another laptop. The staff was also very helpful. Definetly will go here again. I drove all the way from Lone Tree because of the recommendations.

I took my old laptop in for repairs, it had a failing hard drive. I wound up buying a used computer at a reasonable rate. I do not think it is as good as my old one was but it works. I feel they were knowledgeable and honest and will consider them for any future computer service.

This is the only shop I trust with my computers. After having to repair what 2 other major stores repair departments did to my machines myself, Im very distrustful of pc repair shops. But these guys are awesome, communicative, and have fair prices. I have total trust in them. They know what theyre doing.

These guys are great! Been going there for over 2 years now. Had a laptop power cord fry on me and it was going to be 80 bucks to replace, went there and got it for 30! Worked just like it was supposed to. Theyve also helped me fix my laptop when it broke for SUPER cheap. These guys are great at what they do and they will give you the best deals possible.

I searched online for places nearby interested in purchasing used laptops in great conditions. Gave them a call which was received by Brandon. I told him that I was looking to sell an HP Pavillion and instead of him saying that they weren’t interested in buying, he hung up on me mid-sentence (the call wasn’t even 30 seconds). I waited a minute and called back, stated who I was again and that I think we were disconnected. He responded “Yeah, not interested.” Could’ve simply stated that the first time and according to their website the computer meets their requirements for consideration. Very rude and unprofessional.

I was having trouble with my laptop. Took it into Like New PCs. They assessed the problem right away, fixed it and I had it back in 24 hours. Ive used this business a few times in the past and have always had a great experience.Thank you to all the employees who have helped me with my computer issues over the past few years.

This is an awesome machine. I got everything I paid for and more.

This was the most outrageous rip off. I paid almost $200 for a USED desktop about a year ago. Within a few weeks I had to bring it back because of a virus, even though they told me it came with an antivirus software. They charged me $75 to clean the virus and said it was my fault, some how and wasnt covered under their warranty that they promised me I would have when I first bought it. Then, a few months later it wouldnt boot up, and the fan just made a loud noise like it was going to burn up. I brought it in and once again, somehow this was not part of the warranty policy. They proceed to replace the fan and charge me again. Within a few months after that (June 1st, 2015 according to my credit card statement I just reviewed), it wouldnt boot up once again and I take it back and they charge me this time for a new mother board. Do you think this would be covered by the warranty, you guessed it, NO WAY. So then, LITERALLY 2 weeks after that (June 16th) it was still not booting up and this time they said because there had been so much lightening and thunderstorms recently, there was no way they could honor the 30 day policy on workmanship ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I just walked out of the store because I wasnt going to be ripped off anymore. I ended up spending WAY more money on this used computer than a brand new one. I still have all my credit card statements showing how many times I was in their store getting this ridiculous lemon they sold me fixed, every single time being promised that if anything else happens I should just bring it back to them, as I walk out their door. Long story short, these guys are completely incompetent and just rip you off. I cant emphasize enough how much you should AVOID buying ANYTHING from them, especially if they pretend it will be coming with a warranty

Came in ask for price had to comeback give me rough estimate bc tech was not there came back and they say be finish with quote before end of day call to ask if i want a used they have which was 100bucks in 30minutes or new but 3 to 5days for 150bucks and choose the cheaper for recommendation then pick up. Start didnt have the right resolution call they said they have the right one come we swapped and it was worth it and much cheaper than other place

Searching for an NVME on a different app when i came across one on offer from this place. It was a WD NVME 256gb Black edition for $225!!! A quick look on Amazon shows it brand new for $67. I thought it might be a mistake, but after viewing other products they had on offer it was quickly apparent it was not. All the products they had listed were were older and were priced like they were brand new years ago. Insane! Website even has older products (they may still be unused/new), but are listed at prices they would sell at years ago!I cant attest to whether they have good repair services or not as i have never had a services done there or bought anything they were selling (who would at those prices?!), but i cant imagine it would be affordable if they had to replace any parts at all.

I needed my power jack repaired on my lap top so based on the positive reviews, I decided on this place. BAD IDEA. first off I took a few screws out of my laptop and then decided it was too difficult a job to do so I put the screws in a bag and gave it to them with my comp. (it was maybe 5-6 insignificant screws) I guess they figured they could take advantage of the situation and pretend that I did some damage to it by taking the screws out myself. They proceeded to tell me that it would cost close to $300 to fix. I was desperate to have it fixed so I said go ahead and fix it Ill have the money for it in a couple weeks. They told me they had to order a part and it would take about 7 days and they would call me as soon as it was fixed.I got no call.I called two weeks later and they told me that I had to pay for the part before the repair so they never ordered it. Obviously not what I was told before and clearly a lie.Who would make you pay for the part before the repair?Im completely disgusted with these DISHONEST scumbags and Im a loud mouth jersey girl who will make sure everyone and their mother knows not to do business with these sleeze balls.BTW my computer is already fixed by an independent contractor for less money and what a shock it was just the power jack that needed to be repaired and no other damageTotal liars. Gross.

Took care of 2 of my issues. I brought in a laptop that had a broken screen, and was running very slow. Took ages to get on the internet. They replaced the screen, and fixed the slowness. I guess I had a virus on it. Had it back within 2 days!And prior to this I dropped my Iphone on the ground getting into the car, and they replaced the screen on that as well. Very happy customer. I will continue to bring my electronics to them for repair!

Ive got a mom who lives in another state. She needs help with her PC occasionally. I can usually get the problem fixed while talking to her on the phone. However, this most recent time I was unable to resolve the issue.This is where Like New PCs comes in. Especially, the guy that I was working with. His name was Danny. He went up and beyond to help with my situation with getting my Moms PC fixed. He walked me through the steps over the phone until we had the solution. Then when we were completely finished I offered payment. He adamantly refused. It blew me away. I dont encounter this level of customer service very often. So, Im writing this review. Its the least I could do!

If I buy something thinking I need when the product Im primarily buying already comes with it dont trick me into a damn upsale.Especially when your drawer doesnt have change and you hand me a bag from the trash for my product.

Purchased a used laptop two years ago and its still running strong! The staff is always responsive to my questions and went above and beyond in replacing the hard drive (buzzing noise) on the machine after the warranted grace period - never an issue since.
