I took my truck in to get the transmission replaced last month, first they only replaced the torque converter and didnt check the transmission to see if it was damaged when the torque converter failed i had to take it back 3 more time before they decided to replace the transmission. After waiting over three weeks to get a transmission in i get a email from the customer service manager saying they have my transmission and have been trying to contact me so i called and the service department said they have no idea what i was talking about. I tried to contact him directly making multiple calls, emails and messages i never got a response. the only reason anything got done was because of chevy customer care service they had to contact them. on top of all that i asked them to fix this really bad squealing noise when the trucks starts up 2 different times and it was never fixed. I will definitely not be going back!

I bought a car from this dealership and had it delivered to me at work. When it got to me it was not even detailed one bit. There was dirt everywhere Inside and out. When I asked my salesperson about compensation for the 400 dollar detail that I paid for I got not a single thing. BTW there was terrible paint damage. The reason why I paid 400 for the detail was because it was a full paint restoration. Needless to say I let it go. Fast forward 3 months. I traded the car In because I had a great offer on it. I bought the extended warranty through the dealership I bought the car from and today when I went to cancel the warranty and get my money back they had the audacity to tell me I had to physically come to the dealership and sign the form. Never in my life have I heard of a dealer requiring that. I worked In the car business for 12 years so I know how it works and that is not how it works. They state company policy which is BS. What if someone lived in California....you going to force them to fly the north carolina to sign a piece of paper?!?!?! For your sake avoid this dealership at all costs! All they care about it the sale. I would have paid more somewhere else had I known this is was going to be the case with this dealership.

I purchased a used Chevy Cruze from them about a year ago.From the moment I drove off the lot something was wrong with the fuel gauge on the car so I had to bring it back they fixed it and it kept messing up and they still made me pay for half of it to be fixed. They knew the car was a lemon and still sold it to me. I don’t recommend purchasing used cars from them. I traded the car in to Asheboro Honda and got a much better car.

These guys were awesome. I thought I had a kitten inside the body of the car. They didnt find the kitten but they took the time to look for it. Even put it on the lift. A place with a heart. You dont find that anymore.
I was able to make my appointment the same day I called, and the wait was short. Also, I was told what would need attention soon. As a senior citizen who likes to take her grandchildren to school and events, I like being able to know I can count on my dealer to keep my car safe and in proper running order.

I was recently in a auto accident that smashed in the back of my 2003 four door pickup. My wife and I were both looking for a used four door replacement and the prices at the pre-owned dealerships were unbelievable. Then my wife happened to see a new arrival at Wayne Thomas Chevrolet. The price and the mileage was much lower than the pre-owned dealerships trucks. I drove over 50 miles to the dealership, test drove and purchased it. The staff was courteous and helped us make arrangements to pick it up.
The dealership was very helpful in finding what was wrong with my vehicle and fixing it. They kept in touch with me letting me know what was going on with my vehicle and what needed to be done past leaving the dealership.
The person in the service department went out of her way to help us. Found the problem and had a technician fix it and we were back on the road in less than a half hour. Since we were from out of town we were able to get home that same day. She was a real life saver.

When I call with a problem with my vehicle the service department work me in a timely fashion and took steps to figure out my problem with vehicle and advise what they found and advise what would solve the problem. When they got started with repairs the service tech did advise there was more damage then advise. The tech solve the problem and made the correct diagnosis to repair and got the repair done in a timely fashion. I was very satisfied with the service writer and tech with the repair job. And very satisfied to keep me inform with the progress of the repair and getting it done a timely fashion.

Took two months to replace a simple bushing, gave us the run around for weeks. An absolute embarrassment of customer service, we bought two trucks from here but will never do business with them again, and will tell others likewise.Despite the reply from the company below, the issue wasnt with parts, it was being blown off continuously over the course of two months. They had our truck, we would call, they say theyd look into it, then nothing. The correct thing to have said was It looks like our staff just really messed up, were very sorry but instead look at this company trying to shift blame to parts manufacturing.

Outstanding dealership. I submitted my contact request online (late at night) and was in communication with them the very next morning. After test driving the Jeep Liberty on their lot, I was very interested but didnt feel comfortable signing until it checked out mechanically. Not only did Wayne Thomas make the necessary repairs, but they also allowed me to take it to the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealership up the road and have it inspected. After I felt secure about the cars condition, they dropped the price so that it was more in line with the amount that I had financed, too. It was a very smooth buying experience and there was no pressure whatsoever on added warranties or packages. They even made sure that I had gas before I drove it off the lot. 5/5 stars, thank you for going the extra mile to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with my Jeep Liberty.

WTC’s website was easy to navigate to sort through their inventory and locate exactly the car I was interested in (kudos to Andre for making the website so great!). Not knocking your business but wasnt very pleased with the outcome of the technicians diagnoses and then saying that the issue were under the bumper to bumper warranty that had expired in only a years time when the issue is really a drivetrain issue that is still under warranty just because he was trying to make the company an extra $600 for replacing a $3 part. I looked it up on the internet and GM corporate website says they will fix or replace the part for free instead of issuing another recall for the 2.5 million vehicles that are affected by this problem. What Im saying is that if the vehicle doesnt move or you cant take the key from the ignition its not a cosmetic problem its a mobility drivetrain problem.A vehicle that is only a year old shouldnt be having any issues.

There not every far when it comes to younger family’s. They try talking you down or out of what you came to make a deal on, they push to shell you a used card or one that your not interested in. They actually act like I was getting mad at them for not sitting there as re-discussing another deal on a vehicle they wanted to sell me that I didn’t want. Then they proceeded to act like I didn’t exist and asked me to leave the parking lot. That’s my experience there I hope better for the next young person that needs a car/truck that don’t not have there dad or mom with them.
I got an oil change and tire rotation and everything went well. Scheduling was easy and work was done quickly
All went well until it came time to setup our free month of OnStar. Dealership stated that the account was setup correctly but OnStar stated that I was not in their system for a new car purchase. I did receive and email from OnStar but most of the free month was gone. Otherwise, it was successful and a smooth transition.
I cannot ask for a better experience from the sales department. With this covid mess, & GM employees on strike recently, it was quite difficult to find the specific Silverado I wanted. After my first meeting with Preston, I felt confident this dealership would help us out. It took some time for them to find a new truck with the specific options I wanted, but they did. My wife and I agree this was the best sales experience for any of our many vehicle purchases. I highly recommend this dealership.
Unorganized, made an appointment to have a key remote programmed, after they checked and said yes they could do it put the notes in and got me scheduled in. Got there and handed my keys over they came back with a copied key. I asked what happened to the remote. They said I was scheduled to have a key made not remote programmed, charged me $23 for the key, then came back saying they couldn’t program a key remote to my vehicle.
Great people. They are extremely honest and trustworthy. They are locally owned and one of the nicest, kindest families in Randolph County. You will have a great experience here.

Took 2 cars in for service and repairs and was pleasantly surprised how affordable a franchise service department can be. Had to wait on some parts but Erick kept me in the loop and well informed. Tiffany, Savannah and Alan are always courteous and eager to help. They even gave me a 2019 Silverado to drive while I waited on the parts. Why anyone would buy a Ford, Toyota or a Dodge truck is beyond me. Was an awesome ride! Professional in every sense of the word!

The service department never communicates with their customers. You are on their time and yours does not matter.
After getting my car lowered, I stopped by 30 minutes before closing an asked Alan if he could do an emergency alignment because the camber and toe was so out of align on my car. Alan dropped what he was doing and got my car fixed, drives straight as can be now. I recommend talking to Alan if you can find him, as hes the reigning hide an seek champion.

I loved my experience here. One of the best Ive ever had. I was treated well. There were no gimmicks or tricks. Everything was straight forward and to the point and we had a complex multi vehicle trade worked out very quickly. Really enjoyed my time there and talking to everyone. When I bought a vehicle from here, it had a smell to it. Wasn’t extreme, but the salesman John Henry said they would change the cabin filter. Couple of days the smell was strong when turning on the heat. Pulled the cabin filter out and guess what, hadn’t been changed. I bought it as is. The transmission came out on the 2nd week of purchase. I was ill but I know I bought as is. They called me 2 months later and said your license plate is here. Told them the transmission came out, so I would be up sometime and get it. Didn’t need it right because I couldn’t drive it. My wife goes and gets the plate. The salesman said to my wife in front of some staff and customers hear is your plate and how is everything with the vehicle. She replied honestly and said week hard to tell because we are fixing to make the second payment on a vehicle that we only drove for 2weeks. Immediately he said in front of everyone to tell your husband to call me on Monday and we will see what we can do. Called on that Monday, and he paused for a second and uh so have you already put the transmission in, I said yes. then he said ok then we can’t do anything since you already put the transmission in. I said you know what I wasn’t expecting you to do anything, but don’t tell my wife in front of a bunch of people for me to call you just to make you look good. The main reason I am upset is that you said they changed the cabin filter and didn’t. He said I’m sorry bring it up and we will put one in it. I said I already put one in. Then he said his manager is out of the office right now, but when he gets back he will call me back. Haven’t heard from him since. I’m not trying to get them to fix the car, I already fixed it. My point is don’t tell someone in front of staff and customers to call me and we will see what we can do when you have no intention to do anything. I called his bluff by calling. Just letting you all know when buying a car here, watch who your dealing with they may tell you what you want to hear.

I brought my 2018 Yukon Denali in to replace Spark Plugs, Inspect the Magnetic Struts and Drivers Side Mirror, and perform an Automatic Transmission Fluid and Filter replacement.All requested work was done while I waited. The Service rep reported that my Front Struts were leaking, and my Drivers Side Mirror was broken and required replacement in order for the Defogger to work.After discussing the needed repair with the Extended Warranty folks, I was informed that my warranty covered everything except the Mirrors outer housing. I have agreed to pay the difference, and the Service Rep has ordered my parts.As always, the Wayne Thomas Service Department has performed a fabulous job. I bring my GMC here instead of to the dealer that I bought it from, simply because the Service Department here is outstanding. These folks do great work!Thanks....Kerry Justice

I have been a customer of Wayne Thomas Chevrolet for years, they have a wonderful service department. Two weeks ago my car battery died and I was sitting on the side of the road with my 6 month old, I called Wayne Thomas service and spoke with Alan, he was very nice and said he would come out and jump me off so I could make it back there to get it fixed. He and another gentleman came out in the pouring rain and jumped me off, that shows what kind of people they are. He didnt charge me a dime for coming out, he thanked me for my business. I just wanted to share my wonderful experience with them. They are top notch service department. Thanks for all you do!!

I normally despise having to go to dealership for service but this has been the best experience Ive ever had at a dealership. I have been here twice (driving nearly two hours each way) and Allan has been wonderful to deal with. Both times I was in and out within two hours. I sure wish I lived closer! Keep up the great work.

I bought a 1994 Miata from Wayne and he made it a fun experience. Everyone from the front desk to Wayne to service, are all great guys and gals. I would say if you want a good, solid, and informed buying experience, they are your people!
I took my car to be fixed for a left front axle. They called to tell me it would be 1,600 to fix. They said it was the clutch and pressure plate which I knew was not true since it had been replaced previously . My neighbor who towed my vehicle went up there and discovered the hood had not even been raised. He was told they knew from listening. After getting the service manager involved my bill was changed to 454.00. This is the second time this has happened. I would give a 0 star if possible. I Will never go back there. They are just crooks who try and take advantage of people who dont know about cars. I also would not buy another Chevrolet if this is the kind of employees they hire.
