Friendly, professional, helpful, fast. The guy there (owner?) talked me OUT of buying a New phone bc he saw that he could help me cheaper with a battery change.

My phone hit the pavement at 60 mph.... I contacted AMA about a new phone and they were Most Helpful and Knowledgeable... Even considering where I live (network coverage).. I needed a phone NOW and only had so much money.. I ended up with a straight talk from Wally World... but went back to get a case and screen protector.. I was a little short on cash... the Lady cut me some slack... I WILL go back..

Fix phone screens depending on phone type So call first.And have small selection of new phones to choose from. So to keep from wasting your time call to get details then look their phones up online to see if thats what you need.

Fixed my phone screen in ten minutes and cleaned out my charger port and even put a screen protector. Gave me the best quote of all the places I called. Employees were very nice and professional very happy with them :)

I went in for phone water damage and didnt even get the name of the individual working on the phone he operated so quickly. I searched out the store in an attempt to avoid buying a new phone, and within 20 minutes he diagnosed the issue and replaced the part for $20. This was beyond an exceptional experience, absolutely going back here first whenever another phone issue arises. 5/5

Amazing experience! I dropped my phone off, ran an errand and was back within 45mins with my iPhone battery and face cover repaired. Better prices than other shops and great for the WAvl people!!

I bought my phone here. It cost about $200.00. But the lady only charged me the price on the box--$100.00. She was very helpful in getting me a phone cover & told me the price & itd be a week before it came in.My friend who took me up there told me if I ever had a problem with my phone, any problem they could help me with it. I enjoy doing business with them.

I had a brand new I phone that Spectrum Mobile would not unlock for me even though I had paid it off in full. After trying to get resolution and hours of frustration on the phone with Spectrum, I just stopped in to AMA to see if they could help. They unlocked the phone in about 10 minutes and charged me $0! Very friendly and down to earth LOCAL business. I am a customer for life! BTW Spectrum Mobile is EVIL!!

They were helpful, fast and competent when repairing my phone. Then when the party they replaced was defective, they replaced it easily, quickly, and with no trouble the second time. He was careful to check all parts the second time including what was not working on the defective party as well as what my original replacement was. They even let me come in later than they normally do repairs to replace the defective part. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the prices are great.

I have had several issues with an iPhone recently where I went to AMA for a new phone and needed a new battery as well, even though I was outside of my 30 day warranty, the owner was nice enough to make an exception. My first visit to AMA Wireless and my experience was outstanding! I have a multi-phone plan with one of the National providers and one phone quit charging. I live 30 minutes away, so searched for cell phone repair in Asheville. After visiting 4 locations handling repairs, none had the part I needed, and 3 out of those 4 could use a lesson in customer service. Then I lucked out. AMA not only had the part, but the price I was charged was on the low side of all the quotes received from the other 4. And their customer service was top-notch! They took extra time to test the phone before I left. Its been a month and the phone is working perfectly. I have already recommended them to my circle of friends and family, and I wont hesitate to drive 30 min. to use them as my first and only choice in the future!

Best place to get phone unlocked. unlike most cell carrier store fronts, the staff here are quite knowledgeable. 5 stars because it suits me perfect. im sure some people would prefer if the customer service was better. however, i will always prefer staff with good product knowledge over staff with a better customer service..

Dont be fooled by outside appearances. This shop is family owned and been around for a long time. They are the best local cell phone place. I love the service and phone I got from them. Ive also had great luck with a repairing expensive phone for $30 and under 5 minutes when Verizon deemed it unrrpairablr and a replacement was starting at $300. I think this place is now my go to for no hassle cell phone service. They will not BS you

Doesn’t get any better than these guys. I’m horrible with breaking my phone, dropping it in water, managing to dent it in the stupidest way and they’ve saved my poor phone twice now. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. ALWAYS reasonable with pricing and up front about everything. So thankful for them.

I’ll have to give them two stars. At first when I’d come in with a guy friend, they were really wonderful. I bought an iPhone 7s plus from them and I started having camera problems from the start. They replaced my camera and everything was fine. But when l started having WiFi problems is when things went downhill. I would come in by myself and David would look for me but then he’d send me home and say he’d research it for me, and it’s a good 30 min drive from where l live. Even that would have been fine had he called me back. I went down there again and he replaced the WiFi antenna which didn’t help, so he said he’d research again and see about replacing my phone. Well yet again l didn’t hear back from him, even after calling three times and leaving messages. I know people get busy and I’m a patient person, but two months is a long time. It makes me feel like they don’t follow through with what they promise so l won’t be going to them again.

These guys know what theyre doing!!! They changed out my iphone battery, and put a new screen/back on my iphone right in front of me in about 30 minutes. My bill was more than reasonable. I hope I dont break my phone again, but if I do, this is the only place I will go.

Very good service the owner took care of a problem I didnt think could be fixed.i went there with a phone that couldnt be used and a phone card I couldnt activate .I left with a activate phone (the one I took) with unlimited data plan.and more cash in my pocket than i had when I got there.all within about 20 min.Ill never go anywhere else

Only shop in Asheville that was able to replace a cracked camera lens on my iPhone 6s. The total charge $20, and it took 10 minutes after they pre-ordered the part. There repair guy, David is 1st rate!

David really took care of me. A coworker had suggested I bring my Moto X Gen 2 with a broken screen here for repair. He had his Moto X repaired here. The first attempt didnt quite work as planned. While he was installing the new screen David cracked the screen. He was terribly sorry for the inconvenience and promptly placed an order for another screen. The second screen arrived and David installed it but there were some complications with the IR sensor which caused complications with making calls. I called and spoke to Preston to explain what I was experiencing and David called me back and again apologized for the trouble and ordered a replacement phone. I am now sporting a new Moto X Gen 2 that works like a charm. He even upgraded me from an 8GB to 16GB in the process. It may have taken a little patience but I am pleased with the end results and the commitment AMA made to making things right. Thank you David, Preston and staff.

This place didn’t do a great job on my phone. My cracked screen needed to be replaced. I got my phone back and the tint of the screen was a little off and not as easy on the eyes as it was before. The screen also seems like it is not put in all the way and the keyboard does not always respond even when I tap it. Not a good experience at all!
