Been a while since Ive been in here, and wow! Nice remodel! Store is layed out nice! It now looks like a department store! They have a food section, housewares, furniture, a bit of everything! This is a really nice big lots, nicest and cleanest one Ive ever seen! Not what youd expect! This is the Astabula branch store.

Recently I was shopping with my girlfriend and my Aunt in the Big Lots store located in Saybrook. Was interested in several items from their furniture department and inquired about getting them,not available in that store. And then they said they were not on reorder for them to receive anytime in the near future. I ask can I pay for it and have them delivered to the store,answer NO.So we finished our shopping and left.Later I called Big Lots Corp.which it says is located in the Columbus, Ohio area,spoke to a customer care person from Big Lots and was inform that you can not order anything that I wanted from their Biglots.com store and have it delivered to the store or pay any amount of money to have it delivered to your home. I asked why do they have a dot com then,in her broken English informed me I would have to find it at surrounding area stores. I then asked where she was speaking to me from,and her answer was off shore. Great customer service! Maybe Big Lots will be the next US company to shutter stores.

Got some excellent ideas for the patio!

On black friday I ordered a chair on discount from one store. They collected my money and then canceled my order. I wanted to order the chair from another store and they wouldnt let me apply that payment to the other store. They told me it would be 3-5 bussiness days before i would get my money back and by then the sale will be over. Ive been waiting to order this chair for over a month when i could afford it and now they have left me without the chair and my money is in limbo, thanks Big Lots!

Big n lots has many different items I regularly shop for,like snacks, coffee creamer,and canned dog food.i I also get all my paper works, and cleaning supplies too.

Big Lots has the friendliest cashiers of any store I have shopped at. They always greet me when I come into the store and are always happy to help if I need assistance. It has become my favorite store to go to when I shop.

I usually find lots of things I suddenly need or want at big lots.especially large selection in the houseware department. but I wish they still had the peach tea that I enjoy.
