I have a love/hate relationship with F4L. The prices are great, the selection is decent, and its close to home. But why in the world are they riding around on forklifts and stocking shelves during business hours? Dangerously high stacks of goods all over, blocking aisles, and forklift driver driving very fast with a lot of shoppers in the store. Its dangerous and unnerving to a shopper. And PLEASE try at least to enforce the mask mandate. Even the produce people had theirs pulled down while working in the store!

In and out, no problem. Got what I needed, service was great greeted with kindness.

Elliot was one of the funniest nicest person as a cashier.... I always try to hit his line. But everyone else is nice there too

I enjoy shopping here and really get a good deal on my groceries. The problem that I am seeing is that less and less people are wearing masks in this particular store over the last 3 weeks and today one employee was even wearing hers beneath her nose. While I agree masks are not comfortable they are still a necessity. There are variants that appear to be resistant to the vaccine and we will have more of those variants if we quit wearing masks and allow this virus to spread more again. This inclination of viruses to mutate is not new science.I prefer to live life by looking at scientific facts and information. I dont think we can afford to put the human race at risk by following our own whims like we live in the dark ages.

Always low price some of the produce wasnt that great but I love shopping there

I really appreciated the checker wiping down the belt before I unloaded my order. Many stores have quit doing this. Would have given five stars but when I asked another employee for help finding something he was kind of rude.

Staff rarely wear masks. Shoppers often don’t wear masks. Cashiers try to force you to ignore social distancing while they hold up line talking to customers. You have to stand close to these maskless wonders to bag your groceries. Final insult: a sign that says special senior hours are 5 am to 6 am two days a week, everyone else CAN SHOP 5 am to midnight seven days a week. In other words, NO SPECIAL HOURS for seniors. When I pointed this out they said they really don’t care about keeping seniors safe. 64 year old just became eligible this week for vaccine, it will be July before they’ve been vaccinated under this useless administration and Food 4 Less is happy to kill off seniors

They have no regard for their customers safety! There were two no mask customers in the store yesterday making themselves look like fools. If someone has a health problem that prevents them from wearing a mask, they should use curbside pickup. These two were stepping right in front of me. I do not trust Food for Less food safety now at all. They dont make any effort! This is serious people! Try to care about others that might die because of your selfishness. Dont shop there! Make a statement and refuse to shop in that store!

Im done! Been shopping there for years but their failure to keep the public safe has me shopping going elsewhere. One of the checkers apparently has some sort of excuse as to why she cant wear a mask. I have no problem with her and wouldnt want anyone to lose their job over something like that. The parent company of Food for Less is Kroger foods and I believe they are large enough that they could afford to give her a fully paid vacation until things get better. If Kroger foods doesnt care about their customers I wont do business with them

Nasty! Many times I have witnessed bugs on fresh vegetables! And the breads on the rack at the end of the produce section are frozen or thawing from being frozen! Fresh is NOT frozen. Also the long lines are insane. I just left there. Was going to get just a couple of items. But with only 2 registers open and a line of 14 carts full of groceries. We left and headed to Paso instead!

Tonight the store was busy! But they were organize and moving people through really fast and easy great group of people I love that store! had most of the food items I was looking for.

Friendly service, has most everything. The bacon they package themselves is great quality compared to that prepackaged stuff. Only negative thing is their spice selection is small, if you are looking for spices like savory than you should go elsewhere.

Nice place, got plenty of stuff. Kind of annoying how the store is laid out that you need to enter from the left, go all the way to the left of the store and then walk around the entire building to get your stuff and reach the cashier. Sure you can slide through the cashier line on the right after you enter, but its never a comfortable thing to do. If I just want some bread, I have to walk all the around the entire store to do it. Its not a big deal, just a bit annoying. The staff here is always nice, make you feel welcome and get you in and out without talking too much or taking too much of your time. Definitely like coming here for quick visits as well as full grocery trips.

I bought my go to wine here and it was bad. They probably let it get too hot. I would not buy wine here again.

There plastic bags are cheap. They rip very easy. Busted my foot with cans ripping through the bag. Not happy

This is an all around good store. You can get fresh fruit/veggies, meat, bread, alcohol, and ice. When I call to see if specific items are still in stock they are always friendly and helpful. Ill continue to shop here and would shop more often if the parking was better.

I enjoy going grocery shopping and food 4 less makes it a pleasurable task. Its a big store but once you know where things are you can get in and out.

In my recent visit to food4less, It was very pleasant. All of the staff at the ATASCADERO food4less are very curious and helpful.

This place is terrible, the meat is on the verge of expiring all the time. You can actually see the color change in it. This is not in the buy/eat today or manager special section. This is the usual. Unfortunately, many poor folks end up being forced to shop here. Witnessing the way they treat people with WIC and EBT with such contempt has really made me stop shopping here. Hopefully they get some more training down there for the employees at least. Grocery Outlet has way more class, deals and doesnt treat the least among us like they dont deserve to eat.

Food 4 Less is a great grocery store. At Food 4 Less they sell a lot of bulk item groceries. Some of the bigger bulk items are about the same cost as the smaller sized ones you might find in a supermarket chain store. Food 4 Less also sells a lot of non name brand items which are just as good as the name brand items. The bigger bulk items are good until you need to find a spot to store them at home. An example would be ninety six rolls of toilet paper. Food 4 Less is a great store.

I love this store! Great selection of meat, produce can improved in variety and freshness, staff works hard to get shoppers out quickly at the checkstand. Super helpful finding products if you ask them.

I love that I can get great prices for the things that I need for my family, however I tend to go shopping at night but by the time I get there theyre already pulling out the pallets to be restocked. Sometimes it makes it very hard to get down the aisles having to trip over the boxes or to move them out of your way to get to items needed. Staff always seems friendly and helpful. Great prices and selection on wine. Beats paying the winery costs by far.

They block off too big an area when at a time polishing the floor, of which is done every night. It would be better for the customer if they rope off smaller sections at a time so one can navigate there shopping instead of blocking off half the store. But other than that, it is open 24hr and more affordable on most items.

I love grocery shopping simply because the staff there is so welcoming, super friendly, helpful and not to mention, time efficient. Ive been shopping there for years and I wont go anywhere else. Its my home away from home. Not only is their staff Grade A, Ive never encountered any rotten meat or produce. They take pride in the quality of there fproducts as well as keeping our monthly grocery bill a little more tolerable. Their involvement with the community, helping with food drives fundraising events for our local youth sports and so much more that makes Foodbe4 Less stand out among the local competition. 5 stars all the way. Absolutely recommend to anyone who just moved here is visiting, or life long residents of the area who dream of enjoying their outings to the local market.

Helpful, caring staff who literally run to help you. I was interceded by a staff member when I started pulling something off the top of a bin. What I wanted was already on the ground to the left. That was kindly and respectfully explained.

Its Food 4 Less so you get great deals, but what I like about this specific one is the super friendly and helpful staff, especially the cashiers. They have gone above and beyond helping to entertain my kids as they speedily ring up my items. They are really awesome and sweet! I appreciate them so much during this stage of parenthood. 💕

Awful! While the rest of us are dealing with face masks and social, all of the heat and sweat that comes with it, these people think that they are above the law and are allowing employees to not wear masks, are allowing people into the business who are not wearing masks. When I approached staff about it I was told, in an angry voice, We are not going to be the mask police! If someone doesnt want to wear one it isnt our business to tell them to! After years of shopping at Food 4 less, I am through. I will never go back.

On top of this is the mandatory circumnavigation around the perimeter of the store before gaining entry to the main aisles. When wider aisles do exist, they are stuffed full of extra sales islands, further adding to the clutter.Smaller fresh baked good selection felt almost non-existent.While one employee was helpful during my last visit, two others were publicly bickering.

Good place thats open 24 hours. It is kind of a maze to get in. Upon entering you can only go left since the right side is the checkout area and closed off. You have to go quite a bit around till you can get to all their aisles. It was a fun little maze the first time I went in. Other than that the staff is helpful, its nice and brightly lit. Its in a big shopping area so you cant miss it and Ive never had issues finding a parking spot.

Love, Hate! I love low prices, friendly long-standing staff, and finding what I need quickly. I love the layout of the store and the product selection. BUT I absolutely HATE that they use fork-lifts all day long! We have been nearly run over, seen cans of food dropped from top shelf heights and roll to our feet and been asked to usher my small children under pallets loaded with canned food . Also they stock shelves all day long too which makes for crowded aisles occasionally.But I keep shopping there because after all....I love it. Hard to explain.

This is my go to store for every week grocery shopping. Not only do they have everything you need to feed your family healthy but they have the prices to help you stay on budget. Check out their thick sliced bacon for a special breakfast at a great price! ALL of their staff ( from the guys stacking the shelves or behind the counters to their cashiers ) are beyond helpful, friendly and just great people. This place is my sanctuary away from or with my kids in tow.

This is where I typically go for all of my meat salmon chicken beef this is where I go they have the best prices on crab for the times I want to make gumbo they are open 24 hours which is great for someone like me if I cant sleep I can go there to get some shopping done without a lot of people beware that this is the time that they are stalking the store because there is not a lot of foot traffic they have a lot of uncommon ingredients here that you would not be able to find most places they have a lot of registers but theres only ever 2 or 3 open so the lines can be a bit long depending on the type of day you go they have a fine selection of candy
