Lost 1st set of racks from truck while traveling down highway. Not sure why but after contacting Rhino customer service they sent replacements along with replacing the kayak carriers, and the bars that go on the roof of my truck with a better quality than what I had purchased at no charge. Went and had them installed today, and wanted to share that this company did all they could to keep me a happy Rhino customer. Thank you Norman!!
My bike rack broke and got this. We longer carry that product, so like I said, we do not have spare parts.
Thank you for making a strong product. I had a tree fall on my truck from 60 feet up. The rhino HD bar absorbed most of the energy from the tree, and saved me from extensive damage to the rest of my truck. I only need to do a little fiberglass work, and I will be getting a new Rhino HD set.
Very poor product. I ordered a kit for my Jeep Wrangler. Over a month of waiting and ordering parts as it doesn’t come as a complete kit to finally have everything all put together and it doesn’t even fit😤😤😤😤😤

Ive been a fan of Rhino Rack for a long time. Their products make your vehicle look great and theyre super functional. Theyre always innovating and coming up with new systems. I have the pioneer backbone and platform. Ive used it for storing extra gear on my overlanding trips, bringing my kayak to the lake, to bring a Christmas tree home, etc. The platform especially helps to protect the roof of my vehicle from scratches and dents too. One time a fly ball came over a fence at a baseball game and hit the rack. If I didnt have it there would have been some serious dent damage to my roof. No damage at all to the rack. In addition, as a brand I dig that they were founded in Australia. They seem less pretentious and elitist than Thule.
After months of waiting for backordered product, cancelling, and re-ordering, my rack arrived without the hitch pin. Customer Service refuses to replace it. I will update if/when I can find a replacement pin
Rob Gonzo Gonzales super helpful in my research for a rack and awning. 2007 FJ Cruiser and went with Rhino rack backbone with Pioneer platform and it is spot on. Platform style gained me about 5 inches over the stock rack, so getting into the garage even with new lift and tires all good. Wind noise comparable but I normally have my stereo up so no noise to me! Thank you Rhino-Rack.
Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever seen. Hope you dont have a problem with their product. The product itsself seems great. But again, good luck dealing with them.
The absolute worst customer service experience ever. I place a $2200 order for will call, havent received anything since the acknowledgment. They have the systems in place to take your money but not to refund it. I have called and emailed them asking when the order would be fulfilled...crickets!!! I understand that there are circumstances beyond our control but no response is unacceptable. I am disputing the charge with my bank.
Awful customer service. I would never order from the this company again. Impossible to return something. I rarely have issues with outdoor companies and am very disappointed by Rhino Rack. Regret not buying a Thule or Yakima. I thought I would give a newer brand, at least in the US, a shot.I’ve emailed their customer service email address multiple times with no response. When I call, they are adamant l email the customer service address. Haven’t been able to connect with a single person who will actually help me.Update - I received a response from the company on my review to resend my return request to their customer service email address. Still no response...
Worst customer service EVER. I need a replacement part. No one calls back or actually helps. I bought the part I needed and the order got canceled. I was told it was discontinued last YEAR! After I purchased it on their website. I have a two year old bike rack and now I have to trash it. EVEN THOUGH THEY STILL SELL THE SAME BIKE RACK!Rhino-Rack has shown once you bought the product they could careless about you. They have your money so they dont need to make things right.
Superior customer service. Had an issue with a roof rack, these guys worked for 3 hours to resolve the problem. Best customer service I have ever experienced!
Fantastic product, horrible customer service. I’ve been emailing and leaving voicemails for three weeks without a response. I picked up a partial order from their warehouse and the staff there was great! Some parts were on back order, and haven’t been able to reach anyone to discuss this. Expectations are low during COVID times, but not even returning emails? Come on...
Tried to order multiple different items for an important event. Called customer service for help. Website shows items in stock and shipping 2 weeks out when really they are out of stock and at least 4 weeks out or more. Missed out on sales..disappointed.
I ordered a roof mounting track system, a Batwing Awning and a very expensive cargo carrier with bike mounts - 2/3 of shipment shows up. After ten days of calling and leaving messages, I finally get a human who then yells UGH into the phone (All I asked was is this Rhino Rack?) and then slammed the phone down and hung up. 15 more calls in a row, I finally get another team member to pick up, to which I am told, We havent received a shipment from Australia since COVID broke out and we have never been this busy. So essentially, Rhino Rack is taking customers money and they know they DO NOT have the inventory to ship. I was told the next shipment is due to leave Australia at the End of August.I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT RHINO RACK KNOWINGLY HAS NO PRODUCTS ON THEIR SHELVES AND THEY ARE STILL TAKING ORDERS WITHOUT INFORMING BUYERS THAT IT MAY BE MONTHS BEFORE THEY SEE PRODUCT DELIVERED!
Rob and the folks at Rhino Rack helped me lock down the best solution for my situation. What I really appreciated was that they helped me change my original design that Id built out online into a much simpler, better and affordable end result. They kept my budget, safety and practically in mind. It was definitely worth it, and I highly recommend Rhino Rack to others.
This is just pathetic. I ordered a part a month ago; it never shipped. There customer service is a joke; I followed the instructions exactly as they asked on the order ticket; sent 3 emails and never got a response, waited on their live chat for 2 hours; only for their system to bug out and kick me out; waited another hour two days later and still couldnt talk to someone. I called the phone number, they put you on hold for 15 minutes, I called back and left them a voicemail; still cant get a hold of a single person there. There is tons of companies that make this type of equipment; dont waste your time with this one.
Edit: They took care of me in the end.Will ship it late and charge you a 15% restock fee once you need to return it because it came too late.My experience was the same as other people’s here where it was difficult to get a hold of anyone.
Ive stopped through twice for miscellaneous nuts and bolts. Extremely nice, have helped me get exactly what I need. Very great customer care. I love my Rhino Rack gear. A+
Awful customer service its been 1 month now still not resolved defective Bat Wing Awning. Just keep on getting the run around one answer machine after another. I must say I expected more from this brand!
Purchased a roof rack for US Will Call and cant get a hold of anyone. I have tried calling the store and emailing customer service many times. This company is taking your money and not providing you with the product or any further help. Do not buy from them. I am still waiting to hear back about my purchase.
Sucks I can’t just buy a replacement part for my rack without going through a bunch of BS. Ridiculous. Not all people are incapable of ordering the correct part. I’ll now trash this unit and buy one somewhere else. Don’t recommend.
I spoke to Robert Gonzalez and he was a very rude person. I will not go back to this business. He was charging $500 for a rack that I got for half the price at Rack Attack Denver. Take your business elsewhere, if you dont like getting ripped off. Also, I reported this business for unfair pricing at BBB. I would suggest anyone else feel the same way, report them to BBB.
As a Jeep builder on a budget, I research products and companies before I spend my hard earned money. Today I ordered a fox wing awning for my jeep. Rob Gonzalez over at Rhino Rack USA was super helpful and patient with me while I asked a hundred questions. I went over my build and where I wanted to go with it. Rob helped me understand what all the fox wing was capable of and how he sets up on his own rig. I bought the foxwing with the plan to buy the new bat wing when it comes out. I’m very excited to receive this game changing gear and put it to good use. Thanks again Rob for your help and thank you Rhino Rack for the kick @$$ product.
Very disappointed in rhino rack from quality and design of parts to customer service. I’m still waiting on a response from customer service to replace my shovel mount. Hopefully this notification prompts a response....
John, Rachel, and George i dont know how you guys had a bad experience with Rob. He was very polite and friendly to me when I had a default ski carrier for my car. He replied to me on an instant and made me his number one priority. As for you John, company buy name brand products then sell them for a cheaper price, sometimes they are the exact same product and sometimes they are knock offs but just take the name, probably what you happened to you. Rob was a very generous representative of this company, he was able to replace my ski carrier cause they had issues with the manufacturer making their bolts that secure it to the mounting clips and i just so happened to get one of the ones they didnt have time to fix. He also reimbursed me for all the damage that was done to my snowboard, bindings, and was willing to get the little scratches in my car fixed but they were not big or bad enough of for me to really care, something i was easily able to fix. All around great company and will recommend to all my friends when looking for car racks etc.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Rob Gonzalez and the customer service I received at Rhino Rack. I bought a Euro 2500 Rhino Rack for my Nissan Altima through a third party internet dealer in August of 2016 and loved it after switching from a competitors roof rack on my previous sedan. In December of 2017, I was in a comprehensive accident after hitting an animal driving on the highway and my front load bar was dislodged from my roof and damaged (to no fault from Rhino Rack). Rob helped me locate an affordable replacement option as the Lifetime warranty does not cover acts of god like this, and I couldnt be happier that I have my roof rack back on my car. Thanks Rob and all the people over at Rhino Rack. You have excellent products and service. You have a customer for life!

I ordered a kayak rack on 6/26/20, and the order has been pending for over a month. I can’t get a reply back from this company as to what’s going on with my order. It’s just terrible customer service.

After an odd, one-off instance I needed to service my Vortex 2500 Black 2 Bar. I live in Denver (purchase locally, when possible), where RRUSA is headquartered, and called up Rhino-Rack to see what they could do. I was ultimately connected with Tony (VP) who was very understanding of the situation and willing to help. He assured me Rhino-Rack stands behind their products and they sure did. Rather than replace my Vortex package, RRUSA graciously offered to upgrade me to a Zenith Cargo Box 400L, and Tony himself drove into Denver to deliver it to me.Rhino-Rack is leading the pack when it comes to roof racks, cargo boxes, and even the ever-fleeting concept of customer service. Its wonderful to be part of an adventure-advocating company who truly places their customers as #1. Im a RRUSA lifer.
Slow shipping, shipped the wrong items, no indication on the website that items are back ordered. Overall friendly but for the most part useless customer service. Im not sure if they just have problems communicating or what but I will make sure that any additional Rhinorack branded items come via Amazon Prime.Update Dec. 5th 2017: What they lack in customer service they make up for in product quality. Everything I order still works and has seen its fair share of use. I am extremely happy with the product in the end.
