I was unable to take off my flat tire because I didnt have the key for the locked lug nut that Subarus have. The subaru dealership was going to have me waiting 2 weeks so I called this location and he told me to come over right away and he would try to help. He said he doesnt charge for small things like this. He was able to put my spare on for free! I was so grateful. Great customer service. Compassionate care.
Very quick and considerate. Fair pricing. I came in with AC issues and they fixed it in under 20min. I had my baby with me and they put on a kids show to keep baby entertained while we waited.
Only place i trust with my subaru wrx, amazing service, communication and prices.
Friendly, professional, honest. They do good work. The first time I went to them I decided I would never go back to the dealership to get any work done, I head straight to Subie
I was considering the purchase of a 1996 Subaru and they fit me in the same day I called, even though I was not a regular customer. The car was in Aurora and I live up north so was looking for somewhere convenient with Subaru expertise. They put the car up on the lift and showed me and explained to me everything they were checking. They also test drove it. Turns out the car was in excellent condition, so I was able to purchase it with confidence. I appreciated the professionalism and expertise, and they are also very friendly and accommodating. Wish I lived closer, but even though Im 40 minutes away I would consider using them anyway if I need a major repair on my Subaru.
Went to purchase a used vehicle, asked for a compression test, offered to pay for said test and was told “you should be good”. When I asked if the ac worked, answered with a quick “of course” I was really curious as to how that worked when there was no accessory belt running the compressor. Typical sketchball used car lot and salespeople. Total joke of a buisness
I am new to Colorado so finding a great, trusting mechanic can be challenging. Especially being a young female, I notice a lot of places will try and take advantage of price and saying my car needs things fixed when it does not. These guys are awesome. Very honest on what needs to be taken care of and what doesn’t. Also recommends the mileage to bring the vehicle back in for suggested repairs. Highly, highly recommend!
They are by far the best Subaru repair shop we have worked with! Very professional and honest pricing. We had the radiator replaced on our 09 Forester and I honestly thought I was going to be spending a lot more than what they charged. They also have great quality workmanship, and a very clean auto shop. We will definitely keep working with Subie Auto Repairs!
Liked the quick service and diagnosis of the squealing sound from under the hood. The serpentine belt, pulley, tensioner-Shortline Subaru replaced only 2 years and 20,000 miles earlier. Lifespan should be 60-100,000 miles.Subie seemed to think the previous repair may have used a faulty pulley as it looked damaged.I was shown all of the parts and where the damage was. I’d spoken to Autonation Subaru first bc the oil light would go of/on intermittently & they’d done the oil change only 5 mths earlier and there was still 3000 mi to go. I checked oil and had to add 2 qts, which was a little too much-but it shouldn’t have been empty! They wanted to do an oil consumption test for $250, which the car would need to be driven apx 1000 miles—that was unacceptable to me. I don’t put that many miles on the car these days. They didn’t even want to do a diagnostic test first. Shortline would do a diagnostic for $160, to be put towards repairs and would only warranty the belt for 10,000 mi. In the 2 yrs, I put 20,000 miles. Regardless, I felt like both dealerships were giving me the run-around to get more $. Subie had good reviews, wanted to try local repair shop with hopes of a better rapport.I feel Subie did an honest, quick and fair job-the car is purring like a kitten now!
I’m not one to normally leave a review, but these guys are great. I originally took my vehicle in for brakes a couple of weeks ago. They told me there was no need to do all of them and only did the front brakes and rotors. (Oh man, my rotors were shot.) I had been having problems with one of my headlights and was using the high beams because hey, it’s a 99 Subaru... no one could tell my brights were on. Anyways, turns out it was a melted cable and they ordered a replacement and replaced my bulbs. When I showed up, one of the mechanics was like, “Hey! We polished your headlights too!” I’m not sure if that’s a normal thing shops would do, but it really put a smile on my face. They are all super nice and honest dudes and they definitely have my business for as long as I own a Subie.
Friendly staff and highly skilled mechanics.
I have been going to these guys for over a decade and so has my family. My crank recently came out and jumped oil all over the street. I thought my car was done for, however they helped me get it fixed and back on the road and now its running better than ever. If you are a Subaru owner in the Denver metro area I would not take my vehicle anywhere else. These guys have me back on the road within a few days with my car running and feeling smoother than it did before. Thank you Subie Auto Repair!
Visited to have the clutch replaced on my XV Crosstrek days before making a 3500 mile road trip. Excellent service, extremely skilled mechanics, and completed at a good price. New clutch was perfect on the trip. Definitely will be going back for all work from here on out.
These guys are the best in town. The owner and all his employees are incredibly honest, they work hard and do the repairs quickly. Ive tried 6 other places in town and all of them except subie auto repairs lie to you to try to upsell and rip you off. These guys provide the utmost professionalism and the best value in town! I recommend them to everyone!
They were able to rush order a part for me, and did a free diagnostic to ensure that that was what was causing the check engine light.
My Mom had her car towed into their shop and we were expecting some expensive news. They could have told us anything to make the repair really expensive; we were at their mercy. They called right away to give us their diagnosis, which was dead battery and suggested oil change. They were very kind to my Mom, very professional, trustworthy, and fairly priced.I highly recommend Subie Auto Repair. Thank you guys; Its good to know that there are still honest people.
Thanks to Subie Auto for a quick fix at a good price. The repair I needed was one I could have done myself, but didn’t want to go through the hassle. I didn’t want to pay too much or go through the hoops other places put you through. I called them on the phone, they were able to gave me a reasonable estimate, and fixed the wheel bearing in a day. The people, the service, and the price were nice.
You got Subaru? You encountered issue with it? Then take it to this place. Enough said!
Replaced my transmission. When it started acting up almost immediately, replaced it under Warrenty with absolutely no hassle. Gave me a quote on some work I thought I could do myself. Handed me the keys back with no questions asked. I will continue going here for the foreseeable future.
Best place to take your Subaru in Denver. Quick, reliable service at the best prices Ive ever had. Friendly, family run business. This will be the only place I take my Subies in the future.
Oil pump repair. Highly recommend these gentleman for any Subaru needs and repairs
Bought a Forester from these guys. 100k miles later Im still happy with that purchase. Thanx 👍
Cant say enough good things about Subie Auto Repairs. My 22-year old Outback has been serviced at Subie for the last 7+ years. My daughters 15-year old Outback has been a customer since we bought it. Always receive a quick, accurate diagnosis followed by a fair, reasonable price. Islam and Rustam know Subarus inside and out. Now with their new, expanded facility at Alameda and 225 they have risen to a new level. If you value honest, competent service professionals offering fair priced repairs, this is the repair shop for you. You wont be disappointed.
My aging (2001) Legacy has been serviced at Subie Auto for over 12 years. They have never disappointed me. Always a fair price and work done right.
My car recently over heated while I was driving and I had it towed to AutoNation. I was advised that I needed a new radiator, water pump, timing belt and possibly a head gasket repair. This job was quoted to me at $6000-8600. I called Islam at Subie Auto Repair, he had me bring the car in and diagnosed the issue for free (something I paid $200 for AutoNation to do) and advised that all I needed was a new radiator, new hose and a coolant flush which cost me less than $700. For good, HONEST service I definitely recommend bringing your car here! The job was completed within a day and they were extremely friendly and family owned.
Great and fast service. I went in for an oil and oil filter change for my 2016 Subaru Legacy because I dont want to get ripped off at the dealership, I only paid $65 !!! And best yet, the service was done in under an hour. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves their Subaru (if you dont, you should still go!)
Friendly mechanics, they know what theyre doing.
Good prices. They know what they are talking about. Got me in amd out as quick as they could. Very honest. I was referred to them by my mechanic when he could not help.
Don’t come here. They didn’t do what they said will do, took my money and not paying me back!! STAY AWAY
Fair price, Great service, no hidden or last minute additional charges.
This place is amazing! Being that I was in a completely different state then my wife, I was naturally nervous about her taking the car just anywhere. After having a super bad experience with a local Subaru dealer, we had the car towed to Subie Auto. And they were extremely professional, fast and honest. I will continue to use them as my subie mechanics as long as were in the area! Thanks again guys!!!!!!!!!
Had my head gaskets along with a number of other gaskets replaced here about a month ago. Man I talked to was extremely difficult to communicate with, and didnt seem to believe me when I told him I had just had my cam belt done not 2 months ago. Quoted me $1500 and then asked for $1600 when I went to pick up the vehicle. Wasnt about to argue over $100 dollars, especially with the enthusiastic guy. Days after picking up my car I see coolant pooling atop engine block, and vaporizing. I was very confused and concerned, and figured to give it a few days before taking it back in to be checked out (work came with 1 year warranty which is awesome). Havent seen the issue since, and have driven another 1000 miles on it. Engine seems to knock more now but I believe that is because they put conventional oil in it whereas I have used synthetic for the past 5 years, and the knock goes away once the car heats up.Overall, a little tentative of the work, but given the 1200 or so miles Ive put on the car since the work, I dont think there is any issue. Engine and components were intricately cleaned upon pickup, which impressed me.Still confused as to why I had some phantom coolant atop the engine block...
Subie auto repairs was extremely helpful, honest, kind, and awesome. They use the correct parts and fixed a repair done by another Subaru repair shop that did not work because they use aftermarket parts. I would recommend this shop to anyone that has a Subaru or other vehicle in need of fixing.
These guys did a great job for me.I did need my head gasket replaced, and my clutch was shot when I brought my outback in.These guys replaced the clutch and fixed the head gasket, along with some other minor repairs, and now my car runs like new! These are very down to earth, friendly, honest, and affordable Subaru mechanics. I will certainly be coming back for my future repairs on this Subaru and future ones.Thank you for your services, subie auto repair!
These guys do a great job! Im not one to leave a review one way or the other, but I felt they deserved it after having taken my car to them a couple times with the same results -- quick, friendly, quality service at a great price.
Every friendly people helped me out with my car highly recommended them
I took my Subaru Outback here because the sixth cylinder was misfiring. When I called, they asked how many miles are on the car, and seemed skeptical when I told them that it was a high mileage car, which is pretty normal. They said they would look at it, and call us the next day. At 3:30 pm the next day, we called them and they hadnt looked at it yet. Again, not my complaint, I understand being busy, and I understand the nature of the industry. They called back 45 minutes later, and told us that we had a cracked head gasket and that our third cylinder was also misfiring, and that there wasnt any coolant in our car. He said that he filled the coolant, but the car wasnt worth fixing and needed a new engine. A gasket could lead to a misfire, and it could lead to a second cylinder misfiring if the two cylinders are next to each other. The problem is, that these two cylinders on the engine in my car are not next to each other. We came to pick up the car, and talked to the guy. It was clear that he did not actually diagnose the engine, but simply saw low coolant and assumed with the high mileage that the gasket was cracked. I decided to get a second opinion, and it turns out it was not a gasket at all. This repair shop clearly didnt perform any chemical tests to check for a gasket, because when we took the car somewhere else, they did extensive testing and found no evidence of a head gasket crack. The only good part about this shop is that they did not charge us for their terrible diagnosis. The guy talked to me like I know nothing, and didnt even take time to have a long enough conversation with us, because he was trying to leave. He was a nice guy, but do not take your subaru there, unless you want to pay for a new engine that you do not need. I will never go back here, do NOT recommend it, and am appalled at the lack of service and the wrong diagnosis that he made based on a guess. The coolant was low because the radiator needed to be replaced. From the other reviews, it seems like EVERYONE needs a head gasket! How can you diagnose a head gasket on a busy day in less than 45 minutes? These guys are frauds. Listen to the bad reviews, because they are all from people that know things about cars. My dad has worked in the industry for 35+ years.
Great service knowledgeable staff, if you have a Subaru definitely get it repaired here
Highly recommend Subie Auto repair! They were very helpful, timely and professional! My car overheated in Denver while on a cross country road trip for work. I initially took my car to autonation Subaru of Arapahoe, and after having my car for two full days, they called to say my car had “engine damage,” would cost $3600+ and 3+ weeks to repair. I called Subie auto repair and they answered my calls immediately (something autonation does not do), answered all my questions, and gave great advice, but were not pressuring me to give them my business. After more frustration and back and fourth with autonation (plus a $200 charge for nothing), I brought my car to Subie auto repair and could not be happier! They ran the diagnostics for free, did a full head gasket repair and had me back on the road in 2.5 days for $2000 less than autonation of arapahoe. If needed I will definitely give Subie Auto repair my business again! I can’t recommend them enough
Subie Auto Repairs is a fantastic little shop. They are honest (exceptionally so), their prices reasonable, and they do great work. Its a terrific shop and I give it my highest recommendation.
Bought a car here for a good price. Come to find out later that they purchased it at a salvage auction and repaired it themselves. The repair work they did was awful as they did not follow factory guide lines. Caliber collision refused to work on the car because they did not want to be liable for the cars previous work that Subie Auto Repairs did. I have all the paperwork to prove what happened. They ripped me off even though they knew I was a single teen dad who goes to college and works part time. I couldnt afford being ripped off like that. This car is putting me in major debt as I cannot drive it until the work Subie Auto Repairs did is fixed. 15k dollars worth of fixing. None of this was disclosed at the time of purchase. Not cool and super unethical. Very disappointed.
I’ve had a few services done at Subie Auto and it is the only place that I trust with my car now. They never try to get me to do extra work on the car and I feel that the prices are always fair. They also take the time to answer all of my questions which I certainly appreciate. I ask a lot of questions! I’ve also serviced my 2009 Dodge Sprinter with them and they did a great job! They are way less expensive than the dealer and get the job done way faster! When you are running a small business any downtime can be hurtful. I won’t take my car anywhere else.
Thank you guys with all my heart, you guys are amazing. We picked up my 2007 STI that they did engine repairs on, they fully rebuilt my short block, polished my heads, valve train, Catch can, etc... Will go for a tune to Harvey next week and post few pics of the dyno numbers here.Thank You for getting it done so quickly.
Hadn’t driven my 06 subaru for a couple weeks, wouldn’t start. took it to subie to get in inspected. 2 hours later and my car was running again. battery and cables. definitely good first time experience
Have been getting my 02 outback serviced here for years! wont bother to take my subie anywhere else. this place is the real deal when it comes to fixing any issue with any subaru.
They are good honest mechanics. They do not overcharge and are very experienced and knowledgable with Subarus.
Fixed the clutch on my sti, works like a charm 3 weeks later, definitely recommend these guys!
I brought my Subaru here when I had a leak and they were so fast to find the issue and it turned out the place Id taken it to prior to fix the issue didnt use the right bolts as they werent meant for Subarus. They fixed it in a timely manner and didnt charge me an arm and a leg like most places wouldve. Ive never taken it anywhere else! I also took it there a few months ago because I had a cover under the car hanging that needed to be secured and they did it for free in just a few minutes. I also had to take it there earlier this week because I had a leak so I dropped it off and it was coming from the transmission. They looked at it and found it was just a cap that needed to be tightened and they didnt charge me for looking at it like a lot of places wouldve. Theyre honest and they know what theyre doing! I highly recommend them for your Subaru needs!
I have known Islam and Rustam for 10 years. I trust their workmanship and pricing. I have had 4 subarus and they have taken care of all of them. I have bought 2 subarus from them also. Its a family business and I recommend anybody with a subaru to work with them. I am lucky I found them. Thanks Subie.
Friendly staff, they know their Subarus. I brought in my WRX and will be going back for anything I need.
Helped with installing a mod on my 2015 STI w/ the best customer service and support I have dealt with. Quick service with friendly employees. Definitely going back next time.
Friendly, trustworthy owners who will show you and explain to you what they need to do to repair your car. Love that!
These guys are awesome, too care of all of my issues and quick! Ill be back. - Elevated Autos
I was one of their first customers when they first opened several years ago. This shop is friendly, honest, and do quality work at good prices. I wont take my car anywhere else.
Excellent and fast service. Highly recommend.
So disappointing how dishonest this place was. After another auto shop (not a Subaru specialist) was afraid my engine needed to be replaced when my car suddenly wouldn’t start, I called Subie and they were very kind over the phone so I had it towed to them. Subie had my car for approximately 30 minutes before they called to tell me the engine was fine but has $4000 worth of leaks. Meanwhile, we had never seen any leaks. This seemed very fishy so I found another Subaru specialist and the problem was determined to be that it needed spark plugs. He was baffled as he said my car had no leaks at all and even if it did, they would never cost that much. I think because I called sounding desperate and afraid of a huge expense of a new engine that they thought they could get away with taking advantage of a woman. If you’re looking for an honest Subaru repair shop, OEM SAAB and Subaru in Parker took the time to properly diagnose my car at a reasonable price.
Great Customer service, they were very helpful.
When I started to have engine problems with my old car, a friend of mine recommended me to go Subie Auto Repairs. The brothers have showed me what was wrong with the engine and gave me loaner until get mine fixed. They also took care of miner problems I didnt know and didnt charge me for it. They are truly good mechanic and they have a great attitude. I highly recommend this place.
Ghosted me on my appointment, didnt return my call or voicemail, nor did they return my email asking what happened. Absolute great way to waste someones time and energy.
Great service for Subaru at reasonable price.
DO NOT COME HERE!Their employee is very bad! Scams! Steals! Lies!Go on your own risk
I serviced my Subaru Forster and past the emission. Excellent and fast service.
Subi Auto Repairs did an wonderful job replacing my fuel pump. The customer service was great . And the work was done on time and done correctly, this shop really knows what theyre doing when it comes to your Subaru.
My heart sunk when my beloved 2005 Subaru Legacy started making a screeching noise and behaved sluggish. When the check engine light came on I googled the symptoms and the top result was a leak in a vacuum hose. I took it to Subie auto repair and it turns out the there was oil around the plugs and it was the head gasket problem. My car was ready when they said it would be, and now it runs like new. The charged exactly what they said and as a bonus, the passenger seat seat belt sign issue was fixed as well. These guys are awesome!! I am in love with my Subaru again!
I had my cars entire cooling system replaced by this shop and within five months all of the replaced parts have failed. The radiator they put into my vehicle was used, and I have confirmed this with other mechanics. While I am uncertain if the other parts where also used I can only assume so. The failure of this cooling system almost led to a car accident on a major highway.
After years of having my 2009 Subaru Forester serviced at Shortline Subaru, last spring (2018) I made the move to Subie Auto Repairs. Like many car owners, I found taking my car to the dealership convenient and easy, and I appreciated the free shuttle service and other amenities. At the same time, I knew those “extras” weren’t free. In fact, those extras were costing me plenty. When Shortline informed me that I needed to have my head gasket replaced at a cost of more than $3,000, I decided to get another quote from Islom and Rustam, the owners of Subie Auto Repairs. They said they could do the work for $1,000! That very affordable price – together with their many 5-star online reviews – convinced me.Since then, Islom and Rustam have performed my 100,000-mile service and taken care of a recurring problem with my tire air pressure, which they handled many times at no charge. And just this month (April 2019), they discovered a serious issue with my brake light assembly while replacing a shift connector fuse. It required Islom to spend hours researching the matter and then customizing a solution that ultimately saved me a lot of money compared to what Shortline would have charged me.Islom and Rustam are friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile. Support a small yet growing local business. Take your car to Subie Auto Repairs – you won’t be disappointed!Deborah WilliamsAurora, CO
I dropped my Subaru off here for a diagnostic for a very loud clunking in my suspension. It was loud enough that I would deem the car unsafe to drive. A day after I dropped it off they call back saying my car is fine they cant find anything wrong with it. He asks me a few more questions and decides its the tie rod ends which he quotes me $500 for both sides. Im not down to gamble $500 if this dude cant even hear the clunk so I ask him to let me think about it.I go in the next day to pick up my car and do the work myself, and its up on the lifts with a dismantled car beneath it. I tell the man I want my car and he immediately gives me attitude saying its not his problem and I should have called. I said it is his problem, to which he YELLED at me to leave his property. I have just called the police for theft and am awaiting their arrival to get my car back. Nuff said.
The guys at subie auto were very easy to work with, i had called them with a headgasket issue on my 2004 Forester, talked on the phone with a gentlemen named ismail, he explained everything to me from a-z through the whole proccess. I was confident enough to drop of my car there and they were done in JUST 2 DAYS!!! 2 months laters and my car runs like a gem, no leaks or anything! THANKS Subie Auto
Very nice polite there I would recommend
Didnt have work done there but these guys super helpful need a second opinion on my 2016 wrx and they were more than willing to stop what they were doing just to help me out.
Visiting RMNP from out of state. Car would not start after oil change at Jiffy Lube. Jiffy Lube techs could not figure why. Got car towed to this garage after reading others reviews. Rustam the owner worked on my car. Told him I needed to get back on 2K+ miles road trip back the very same day. He worked on it immediately, found the loose connection and fixed it that very same day. They do not charge for work in the 1st hour. He did it under an hour and did not charge me. I was very impressed at how ethical he treated me and at his technical prowess for being able to fix it so fast. If your car is dead and you have to choose a garage to tow your subie to, choose this one. You will be in good hands and dealing with very ethical owner. They only work on Subarus.
Place is a joke, quoted me 4grand on replacing parts on my fuel system, fuel pump and possibly a line or 2. Said it would take a week! Dont go here, they will take you for a ride and steal your money
Quickly diagnosed my problem based on my description and their experience with Subarus. They repaired the transmission on the same day I brought it in.
Always great and quick service. Wouldnt take my STi anywhere else.
Very intelligent. They really know subarus. And awesome price!!
Very good and friendly people if you have a Subaru if any problems I highly recommend it to take it to them they will help you show you what’s wrong and fix it from you for a good price
Great guys, very honest and reasonable. Wont rip you off like dealers do.
Very quick knowledgeable and well priced! I will continue to use their services.
So I crammed a Subaru engine into a VW Vanagon in preparation for an around the world drive ( plus or minus a boat or two) and these guys didnt bat an eye. They have helped me out numerous times along the way. I couldnt be more thankful for all the help they offered and would highly recommend them to any other subie owners.
Excellent Service! My flat tire was fixed in seconds and no charges was applied!Thank you!
Good, fair, honest, friendly mechanics who know Subarus inside and out.
Terrific customer service, kind and responsive people, great work
Honest group of guys and fast. awesome prizes.
These 2 brothers have saved me from worry numerous times on my old subie . No one in town has ever given me as superb- right the 1st time diagnoses, lowest prices and loaner to boot.I have mentioned them to others and apparently these 2 brothers are known all over the metro area as the best subie mechanics in the front range and yet they are also really nice, incredible customer service..They are polite, have driven me to work, put in bulbs and topped off my fluids without even taking a penny when I wanted them to, show me the used parts and always do the right thing with a smile. I have had my subie towed there from across the metro area b/c I learned over time that they are always the best- they know subies so well when others have misdiagnosed or named a price, I ended up there anyway and happy.I have a lifetime of owning old cars and have never found any mechanics as good on any car I have owned. If you get a subaru repair quote elsewhere, better call them too esp on big or complicated jobs subie jobs: timing belts, head gaskets, trans, etc.fyi:the car sales lot is not the 2 brothers, so any sales comments are not about the actual repair shop.
GOOD SERVICE FAST AND CLEAN WORK
Place sucks don’t go here unless you want a bad running car
Quick, honest service.
Was greeted by an old man yelling broken english at me.
Nice service, friendly.
They are amazing!!! Thank you!
