We needed a Home Security System. I checked around with many other companies and decided to go with ADT. My choice was perfect. ADT is THE Company everybody should choose for such a system. ADT is very reliable and No1 in Customer Service. The Technician, who installed our system, BRENT as well as the Service Manager JARED are very professional, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable.Thanks ADT

Equipment always has problems, Cameras never work, off line problems etc etc. Phone support seems less then knowledgeable and frustrating. On site service teams are helpful and always apologize for ADT continued problems which never get resolved other then a quick fix waiting to break down again and again and again. Truly this will drive you crazy and cause you to lose faith in your system when you leave your home. GOOD LUCK????? PS I will continue my search for a better alarm company with a system that actually works.......

On May 18, 2021, ADTs Service Technician, Julio Valles, did a very good job of removing my entire outdated ADT monitoring system from my townhouse, and then, he replaced it with an updated wireless ADT monitoring system. He was very professional in all of his work. Also, he showed me how to use the updated system. I would strongly recommend using ADT, and Julio Valles, for all future service needs.

I have been an ADT customer for over 25 years. I decided to add a camera and doorbell to my system. My technician, Julio, was wonderful. As it turned out my current alarm system is not compatible for an upgrade. He carefully explained the differences and the costs and did not try to persuade me either way. It felt so good not to be pressured and have me, the customer, valued and respected. ADT has always been responsive to my needs and because of ADT I have safe for 25+ years!

The tech Was straight to the point and didn’t try to up-sale me. Also the rep I spoke with on the phone, Travis Mercer was the best, he’s the reason why I went with adt. He found me a great package, another man straight to the point and he was hilarious and just a joy. I recommend ADT for sure better than xfinity by a long shot.

We had a recent install at our new home that was done incorrectly. The technicians wired the thermostat to turn on both the AC and heat simultaneously, when turning the heat on. Not only did this lead to an excessively high energy bill, but I had to have an HVAC professional come out and rewire the system. Ive tried contacting ADT on 5 occasions now, all with promised resolutions, and still have yet to receive a call back from anyone, even after being elevated to the local office. Its been an absolutely horrible experience.

I have ADT at my home and business. This appointment was the now THIRD time that ADT has shown up more than 5 hours late. Because of the last two times that this happened I scheduled this appointment to be the first one of the morning so it would be done before my restaurant opened. Of course it changed again and the technician had to be there the majority of the time I was opened. He was great a courteous and left a great impression on your company. However the folks in the back office really need to get it together.

Lots of fake alarms middle of the night technicians can not fix it right.. too many employees ask same questions. no one in the higher management will talk to you. I spent 20 to 59 minutes on each phone call to fix my systems which I am paying for it

Policy holder died. I am the executor and emergency contact, but do not know the system access code. ADT said it will send the code to my (dead) brothers house - will take a minimum of 10 business days for me to receive it. Mail needs to be forwarded - probably will take 3 weeks to receive it. In the meantime, I need to pay ADTs monthly fee. The timing is totally unacceptable. I tried - there are no other phone numbers to call to make a complaint. I was 56 min on the phone to get this result.

Modesto was good for what he came to do. Extremely unhappy w ADT currently, as per my phone conversation on 5/22/20 with ADT and Safe Haven. My current situation is still ongoing for further evaluation with case # 10671486, I am expecting a phone call this coming week (May 25-29) from a supervisor to attempt resolution. This “situation has been ongoing since 11/2013. Totally unacceptable!

18mos, system still does not allow remote access. The ONLY reason I went with it in the first place was that remote administration is supposed to be standard. It does not work and my issue has been worked on for 18 months.

Initially everything seemed to go well with our system. However, within 8 months the system malfunctioned 4 times which required a technician to come to the house to fix (and they only give you a six hour window). They also were very poor deal with on the phone; not helpful at all, long time on hold, etc. When we requested to be released from the contract because of the malfunctioning system, they refused because of a name-change on the contact which they claimed negated the prior issues with the system. They also made a promise of several free months of credit, only to deny the credit later and claim the credit was assigned to the time the system was down. Strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your home security needs based on our experience.

I received another bill today about an increase. Was extremely frustrated, how in the world are people supposed to keep monthly budgets in perspective when service companies continue to manipulate service agreements. The amount of money used to send out increase letters and postage could be better served in your customers accounts. The only reason I have provided a three star is because I had the complete pleasure of dealing with a professional named Mesha McNiel, who seemed eager to help me get this resolved, Kudos to Mesha (5 Stars) for turning a bad call, good.

My experience has been Hell. We cancelled within 24 hours after we found out that you had extracted money from our account that was not supposed to be deducted until after installation. That was October 9th. We have been told numerous times that our money would be refunded in 7-10 business days. I am now told that they have to send a request to Aurora, Co and some where in Florida. I have been lied to from everyone I have talked to. I will be speaking to my attorney on Monday. I suggest that you never do business with ADT. My rating is 0, however that option is not available.

We were sold our security system from a door to door salesman a few years ago who was working for another company. When that company went out if business our account was picked up by ADT. Things all work well but their customer service is pretty slow.
