Its also a byob.We very much appreciated the patience they had to explain to us the varieties of cigars, what you could expect from different geographical production.Very educational and personal experience.Well be back.

Jim, Chris, and Tera are all great people that also know cigars. Kodiak even gets lovies and attention there. Definitely a must see spot for cigar lovers and enthusiasts.

This is a great place to have a nice smoke! The humidor is huge, and they have a lot of different cigars to choose from! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. As an aficionado, I would say this is the top cigar shop in Austin!

Recent transplant to Habana House after my dear home cigar shop closed. I couldnt think of a nicer and more friendly neighborhood lounge to replace them with. The walk-in humidor has all my favorite sticks and even a number of new ones that I have still yet to try. The owner and all the staff are so helpful and easy to talk to, and can always recommend something new for me if I ask. The ambiance is relaxing and easy-going. I enjoy sitting in the comfortable chairs in the back corner lounge with my laptop in the evenings to work on homework. Love chatting with/listening to all the banter that goes on between the regulars down there! Habana House is definitely a new haven for me.

This is a great place to hang out and smoke. It is my favorite cigar lounge. The large humidor hosts an impressive selection of cigars. The staff is phenomenal. The manager, Jim, is the greatest. I highlyrecommend visiting. Youll probably become a regular.

This is a very welcoming place, both by the environment and the people, including the staff and other customers. They have a huge, well-varied and well-stocked humidor (and some great jazz music piped in).They have a variety of lounging areas, including lounge chairs and tables suitable for working on your computer. The customers are welcoming and inclusive, or theyll leave you alone if you just want a quiet smoke.This is a really great place to stop in for a smoke, or to spend some time in good company.Oh, and memberships (for discounts) and lockers are available.

Of all the cigar shops I’ve been to over the years, this ranks near the top. The few bad reviews are from people who didn’t bother asking for help or people who think it has become “hood”, whatever that means.The staff is very knowledgeable (especially when you ask for help) and the patrons are some of the most interesting, down to earth people you will meet. If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy a great stick and great company, this is the place to be.

Austin, Texas.Service: spectacular with friendlies as expected in Texas. Southern hospitality at its finest. The locals were pleasant and we got some good cultural exchanges, well... More like old fashion trash talking. Staff and mgmt is knowledgable for you who have no clue on the lingo.Cigar variety: very good. Muy muy bueno. They provide sticks for all pockets and flavors from daily smokes to baller stogies such as davidoffs and padrons.They had some sizes/variances of the casa de Cuba that I havent tried yet. Anytime I can try a new cigar or size (and yes, the sizes hold different flavors).Pricing. Im in Calif so everything is affordable except the Davidoffs, they seem to have MSRP across the nation.Location: South Austin. Not a local so I cant comment well on logistics. The lounge is difficult to spot off of Congress so be aware of map settings.Interior: dark, low key with comfy seating. Had a fridge, kitchen table and a half kitchen. Large ashtrays are available so a patron dont have to move to ash. Lighter and cutter set up is up front making babysitters frequently get up. TVs are available but no live sporting on right now so they were off.Will return if Im in Austin again. Cant wait to visit at night time to exchange cultures with locals and learn more about the area from a natives pov.Travel safely my friends.@cigarcpa

This place is awesome. Its my home away from home. Great selection and always filled with good people from all backgrounds and in no way hood. Some people need to be a little more open-minded just because its not a bunch of old stuffy white guys.

Large selection of cigars and accessories. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The store also has a nice cigar lounge with comfortable seating allowing you to relax and enjoy newly purchased cigars. You are allowed to bring your own cigar and smoke it if you buy at least one cigar from the store during visit. The store doesnt sell alcohol or food, but you may bring your own to enhance your overall experience.

Great friendly atmosphere. As a new cigars smoker, I love their personal attention for each and every customer. They always keep my Djarum in stock and have helped me select some cigars for my boyfriend. Every one has been a winner; and he’s very particular and He’s been very pleased with all their selections.Tara is great at keeping an upbeat positive vibe and David and the hot guys that work there can light my cigar anytime!!!

This is a weekly go to for me and some coworkers. Its a good mix of people and BYOB. Habana has a great selection of cigars and has a great setup with lots of relaxing leather chairs, an outside patio and tables you can pull out your laptop to finish up work. I would recommend this place to the young and old and in between! Staff and regulars are good people.

Very happy that the North-side has a great cigar place to go to now. Good sized lounge and a huge humidor with an incredible selection. Chance and Tara are the employees we met and they were both very knowledgeable about their stock and helpful in finding sticks that Id like. The selection of accessories is very impressive too. All the way around, this place is a winner in my book and Ill be back often.

Had a great experience here the other day. Was buying a buddy of mine a couple of cigars for Christmas, they were really nice up at the register about everything. Humidor selection was nice, and felt really open and not crammed. Prices are fair, and relatively normal for a B&M shop. Will defeinitely be back.

BYOB but does have sodas and water for sale. Clean place and comfortable chairs. WiFi and plenty of power for working during the day. Has great ventilation and filtration better than most places around. Also has a patio area for when its nice outside. Lockers are available for rent. My favorite place to relax at.

The selection of sticks is never disappointing. The sports (if youre into that) is always playing on 4 screens. The seating ranges from socializing couches/lounge chairs to high tops n bar chairs for eatin to a work area with plenty of outlets away from the noise of the TVs....and the bathrooms are always clean.

You can bring your laptop, use the free wifi, and work one of the four tables, or in a comfy lounge chairs. Or just relax and get to know the other patrons or watch one of the big screen TVs. Jim, the owner, is personable and has an incredibly deep knowledge of cigars. He can recommend a cigar you are sure to love, whether you are a novice smoker, or want something to match your palate.

Horrible customer service! Ist time there. Just stopped in. The person in the shop talking about their business and competion. In other words just talking. I walked out of the cigar room. I let the cashier/ worker know that I was leaving because I didnt get any help. The cashier/ worker said see Ya! Very poor customer service. Specks here I come! Lost my business for sure...

Great cigar lounge I found on a fluke. Drove by the far north location and saw the cigar sign, but was concerned with blackout windows that it was closed or vacant. But, soon found my way inside and have recommended the place to others in & out of Austin. I was told they have the best humidor in the ATX-hard to argue with it. Prices are more than I care for, but the patrons are friendly, talkative & quick to accept you, extremely clean & it has a comfortable layout to watch news or sports. The membership is also a great idea in saving a few bucks if you smoke regularly. Its my 2nd favorite cigars lounge in Austin.My 2nd favorite cigar shop & lounge in Austin? Pipe World is #1, but this is a close 2nd, if not soon to be first with the closing of Heries & Legacies. This family owned business was started by the guy who owned Ruta Maya coffee shop (remember that, Austinites?). Well, when Ruta folded its down town location the owner decided it was a great opportunity to diversify with not only coffee, but tobacco. So, he struck out conservatively and wisely into being a tobacconist. The result, two beautiful and popular locations North & South. I was told by one customer before I visited that they had the best humidor in the city-which is true. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the hours are phenomenal and the selection other worldly. They also have multiple events of lesser known tobacco companies and specials for their high roller patrons. This works because from what Ive been told, due to the owner doing his research, listened to and hiring very savvy managers who have put together the equivalent of Las Vegas in the desert. Finally, he did the smartest thing possible-stayed away and let his business flourish.So, why #2 & not #1, two reasons, just two (and Im particular) first, the North location is near Lakeway Mall (30-45 minutes north of DT-but accessible even by city bus), but the southern location (much smaller) is closer to DT just past St. Edwards University (also accessible by city buses). The 2nd is they are pricey-I mean steep. As a bargain cigar smoker, theres not many $5 and under sticks to be found in the humidor (and theres been a recent spike in some brands prices as much as .50 cents per stick)-definitely no Bueno!-but I cant blame HB-thank you FDA.If youre in Austin and are a cigarvor pipe smoker looking for a lounge HH is a MUST. Youll thank me later.
