Called and they are 46weeks behind to get repair work done, made me come in to tell me that, next time tell customers that on the phone !!!
Best lawnmower shop in all of Texas. You better get over here as fast as you can. Owner Kevin is unbelievably awesome!
My review is based solely on my short experience with them. I called to get some of my equipment serviced and they are scheduling 8 weeks out. How???
Called to ask bout getting blade sharpened on my reel lawnmower and said it would take 2 months! Wow...not sure how they are that busy given all of the poor reviews.
Wish this place was more professional and support the rules on wearing a mask, when asked the employed the reason why hes not wearing one he took it personal and called me ignorant for following what the government requirement is and still refuse to wear it. Safe and good customer service should be a top topic at Austin outdoor power.
These guys are fantastic as always. Both my father and I have been using them for close to two decades. They do great work and stand by it. The only problem is that are so poplar that they have a line of work a mile long, so it can be a bit of a wait to get your repair done. But at it will be done right so it is worth the wait.
Awesome customer service!
I still dont understand how Echo and Stihl have as an authorized distributor (dealer) this place. The customer service is the worst, but especially the person in the service area, the guys greeting to me was like I was his buddy, he doesnt communicate well and everything he did was check his phone, was very rude. The management of this place urgently needs to increase customer service skills in its employees, otherwise it will be another empty building soon. I’ll never come back. My mistake was not reading the reviews before I got there.
I couldnt get my echo started after a few uses walked in planning on it needing warranty work. We went to the back and they got it started right up. I felt like ridiculous but they were very understanding and helpful
Quick and easy service, done right.
Stay away from that place. Awful front desk staff and even awfully service.
Love this store. Always have what I need and if they dont have it in stock well it can always be ordered. Not sure what some of these comments are complaining about these guys behind the counter are great at the job and are professional. This comment by Mr Ros sounds like a complete idiot who doesnt know anything about landscaping equipment. The owners have always been way more than helpful. I will continue to shop here and is by FAR the best place in Austin when it comes to landscaping equipment.
Horrible customer service!Come here if you want to be talked down to and pushed aside. We initially contacted them as a reference from our warranty provider. As we were explaining who we were and what we wanted, Jeff or Deff (not sure since he mumbled his name) constantly cut in during our conversation and kept pushing us to come in, get charged $50 dollars for something we weren’t even sure would be covered under our insurance. As we were trying to ask clarifying questions, this employee began to catch an attitude on top of his rude behavior. To defuse the situation my brother said “please don’t cut me off as I’m trying to explain, I’m getting frustrated, actually can you put someone else on the line?” to which he was replied with “This is America I don’t care if you’re getting frustrated” and denied us access to another employee. I am appalled this comment would come out of a store representative and also disgusted at how this employee carried himself throughout our interaction.
Anthony was incredibly helpful over the phone! I tried a few different places and no one seemed willing to help. :( I sent him a photo of a brand name part (hoping to find a generic one) and he found it quickly! Will definitely keep their number for future outdoor power needs!
What an honest shop. I went in to get a part for my power washer pump, simply a blown seal, and they matched the seal and sent me on my way free of charge. Ill definitely be taking my more complex equipment here for future repairs.
Been buying lawn mowers, weed eaters and blowers from them for over 18 years. Bought a new Echo blower from them to replace a broken one I bought 3 yrs ago. The new Echo was not near the quality of the old one, and I attempted to return it after one use and in less than one week. They would not give me a refund because they would have to sell it as used. And why would they have to sell it as used? Because they graciously solicited my email address when I bought it so they could register it with Echo immediately; thus invalidating the warranty for any new purchaser -- funny how that worked against me! I wouldve never registered it until I was sure I was satisfied with it. But the owner evermore graciously allowed me to apply the return toward a FULL-PRICE PURCHASE UPGRADE Echo (item on sale at Home Depot for $30 less). I asked Ricky the owner why I should buy from him instead of Home Depot. Of the reasons he gave me, he implied the most noble one was for the loyalty of buying locally. Well, that seems to be a one-way street which I had been following faithfully for 18 years. Funny, there was no reciprocal loyalty to the local customer. I could have purchased the Echo for less at any national big-box store and returned it up to 30 days later for full refund. Now, my guess is, had I been a big-spending landscaping service, Ricky wouldve bent over backwards to satisfy his loyal customer. The moral: If youre a small potatoes homeowner, buy from Amazon or one of the big box stores. Youll have a better chance of getting the item at a much lower price, and youll have a satisfaction guaranteed return policy.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.I took a weed eater in for routine tune up.after a couple of weeks of not hearing from them, I called. It had been ready, no big deal I drove into town to pick it up.3 days later I discovered there was a screw in the motor mount and, another one that fell out of the on/off switch housing. The head would not engage with the motor running.I drove back in, they took it in the back and got it to running. They informed me that yes it was missing a screw but they didnt haveOne, they could order it for me.I left, $103.00, 2 screws missing, and it still dies frequently. At least they were rude also, no greeting upon entering the store, no thank you, and no apology for the missing parts.Very disappointing, I have used them for years, must have changed owners. Never going back.
I had been looking at a new riding mower for just over a month. Once I determined what met my needs, next came finding a dealer that could provide a great price, service after the sale and excellent customer service. After dealing with some other dealers that could provide none of the above...I found Austin Outdoor Power and they hit every category! Not only did Ben help me quickly with his professional and friendly service, but he got me a great price and out the door in a timely manner. Im glad I found this location and I look forward to years of dealing with them. I definitely recommend Austin Outdoor Power.
I have to agree with the other poor reviewsThey provide poor service and serious bad attitudeI purchased my 1000.00 mower from them and its been a good machine but parts do wear out .I own a Gravely 6 hp Wisconsin Robin commercial mower . It powerful and fast .At the time of my original review the gravely switched to Honda engine probably a better engine but the frame and drive were the same . Same mower different engine . So the parts I needed they should have had in stock and later I discovered they did .With serial and model numbers and engine codes they didnt bother looking my machine up and I was told they couldnt look them up . I provided them with pictures of the codes and deck labels and still nothing . I later had to provide them the part numbers .I ordered and paid for a part and waited for 3 months, no call or anything . I called them up and they hadnt even placed my order . They told me oops the part is now on back order .I reversed the charges on them for spite and ordered the parts directly and they were delivered in a week . I later discovered that all the parts I needed were in stock and still used in the Honda powered gravely .This is a rewrite because I admit I was still angry and my review didnt make any sense . it probably still doesnt another failed Texas education .
My mower would not start, so brought it to the guys at Austin Outdoor Power. They got it fixed up, and at a very reasonable price. This is the place to get your mower repaired! Thanks again!
If you are in the market for the best lawn equipment around, this is the place! Dennis and his crew are top notch. From the friendly smiles, to their knowledge about the lawn mowers they sale, you just cant ask for better service! Youre not gonna find this level of commitment at the orange or blue stores. I am quite pleased with my new Honda mower purchase. I might actually LIKE mowing the yard this year 😉. Nah probably not, but hey, one can dream right?! Oh I forgot to mention that they repair any type of small engine you got. Stop on by and say HI to these wonderful folks. You wont be disappointed!
My experience has been good for the last two years. They have not sold me any new equipment but have done a good job of maintaining my old mowers. I have a Cub Cadet and a Swisher drag mower that they have maintained for the last two years. There service is slow, but competent. If you think they are too slow, try doing it yourself.
I took my Toro mower for repair and was advised a fuel flush and cleaning of the carburetor was done. Got it home only to experience the same issue. Talked to owners wife (that should manage the phone lines ) who said I had pay for further repairs. Needlesstosay, my mower has been taking space in my garage for the past 3 yrs.Team seems friendly at first, but they must have enough business to NOT give a damn!
Always great service and conversation as well!!
Might have had a better experience if the person that answered the phone wasn’t so full of himself. Refused to help me over the phone. Said I must come in because he’s done what he thinks he knows a million times.
Always terrible service. Ive noticed that a certain ethnicity gets treated horrible. I saw it 3 times in 10 min so its not just me
I used to like these guys until there was a problem and their customer service went down the toilet. Basically, they performed a repair that I didnt authorize then stuck me with the bill. Even when I went in to pay for it, the ticket was still in the estimates file. Everything would have been fine if customer service was a priority, instead I leave feeling like the victim. Guys, it would have been easy to make this a win-win, it isnt rocket science.
I saw a few negative reviews here so I was a little hesitant to come. Im sure glad I did! I went in for a new head on my trimmer and the guys were super super nice. He even replaced it for me right there on the spot for no charge. Based on my experience, I highly recommend them!
I took my Stihl chainsaw in to get repair service, 28 days later it was ready to pick up. A new carburetor was installed, when i asked why a new carburetor was needed on a 2 1/2 year old saw that doesnt get used a lot, i was told it was because of the gas i used. I told them that i only buy gas from austin outdoor power and then i was called a liar by the rude jerk behind the counter. I will never go back there again, absolutely no customer respect.
Well my husband has called twice today and both tunes the guy took his number down. And so the rest are of the story has to be what? Yep they just wont call back. We needed a part people and you wonder why Amazon is crushing it?
People who rate Austin Outdoor Power low have no idea what they are talking about. I have a medium size lawn company and Ive been to every shop and power equipment distributor in the area and these guys are clearly the best. I drive an extra half hour to do business here rather than my closer alternatives.
Came in on Sunday afternoon with a dead Echo weed eater and didnt know anything about it. They took the time to check it out, add fuel and get it running. They didnt talk down to me or have an attitude. All of this while they were super busy. Highly recommended
I have been shopping here for years and they always take very good care of me.
They took care of me quickly and went the extra mile to help me out. I appreciate it.
I was spending a Saturday afternoon helping a friend whose mower was experiencing low power and stalling. After some poking around I decided that the governor spring was bad. We tried to find a replacement at the big box stores, but we struck out. He mentioned this mower repair place on N. Lamar. It was near closing time. We hustled to get there and pulled up into the lot right around 4:59. As we got to the door they were locking up, but they unlocked and let us in. We explained the situation. They spent a lot of time looking around for the right spring, and eventually came out from the back room with the correct part. It was competitively priced--only 4 bucks--and we paid and were out of there, leaving our profuse thanks. When we got to the car, however, we realized wed somehow dropped the tiny spring between the store and the car! We searched high and low in the parking lot, under the car seats, and everywhere else and just couldnt find it. At this point the guys were leaving the shop. They saw us and joked You didnt lose it, did ya? We had to sheepishly admit that, yes, somehow it was gone. At this, the guys unlocked the store (again!), pulled the last spring from inventory, and handed to my friend, gratis. They really went above and beyond to help us get a part that was insignificant to their bottom line. Great guys!
I called to see if they had a part in stock. The counter guy would not look for the part without the engine number, even though I had make and model of mower. I hung up and did a 30 second google search, got the exact part number, called back and voila--they dont stock it. Price quote was $53 if they ordered it. I called Georgetown Power Supply and they had it in stock for $12. Im in Round Rock so one place is just as convenient as the next. I dont know why I keep giving these guys another chance.
Benjamin provided outstanding service today! Appreciate the honesty and extra mile he extended to my son. SHOP LOCAL!
Always a good experience for me. Had everything that I needed. Plus courteous & professional service & treatment.
This place is great. They helped me find what mower parts I needed and ordered them for me.I will definitely do business with them again if I need to.
Have used Austin Outdoor Power for years and they have always done a great job. On the 1 occasion that I had a problem, they stood behind the work and quickly made it right.
The guys in blue shirt on the pic,is a jerk,he treated me like i would never treat my costumers or would never want anyone to be treated, rude, poor costumer skills, only beacuse i did not purched a belt for my lawmover from him,but i will go further with this complain, i will find out who the owner is and will make sure they know who this jerk is all about.if you are reading this,do you know that i and all costumers make your pay check possible, if no one in the store have told you that?because im sure you are not the owner, you do not look like a business owner, you are just there for pay check, you do need to earn it pal.i will keep going with this till i get to talk to the owner,im a business owner and i will not treat my costumers the way you treated me,you will hear from me more, get costumer skills or get the hell out there.p s,i will find out what your name is and will post it on here.
If you want your equipment repaired correct and quick go see Ben. He is a great guy and always willing to help.
Very poor customer service all around. It all started on the phone and continued in the shop. First, I called them to see if they had some parts I am in need of. The lady who answered the phone was very curt and said they had the parts. Perhaps she was having a bad day, Ill giver her the benefit of the doubt. I made the drive up north to get the parts and when they checked their inventory, they didnt have them. I advised I called ahead but they said they havent been in stock so its apparent the lady I spoke with never checked to validate they were in stock. I advised the clerk I was working with of this misinformation and he just laughed it off. I somewhat did to but expressed my disappointment in being inconvenienced. I was able to get 1 of the 5 parts I needed and after completing my purchase, he started speaking spanish to another clerk and never thanked me. Dont take me wrong, I dont expect to be treated like their most valuable customer, but if they dont care for my business, then I as a customer, wont care about spending my money there.
Nice people, but completely unable to sell me a generator. Several visits, several emails, lots of calls over a one month period, and they still come up with a Honda Generator. It is always going to be here tomorrow or going to be here Friday. They seem to have no idea what they are doing or any coordination with their suppliers.
Extremely helpful. Very knowledgeable. Reasonable prices.
Got a brand new Gravely zero turn mower, and the drive belt kept coming off. Took it to Austin Outdoor Power, to see what was wrong. They had it for about three weeks, with no communication. We called them a few time and they finally had it ready, though they apparently were not going to let us know. The ticket showed that the belts were installed wrong. And that they spent 45 minutes working on it, out of that three weeks.Brought it home, jumped on to mow the grass, and sure enough, the belt came off again. Not sure if we just got a defective mower or what... :/ But, either way, we will not be returning to Austin Outdoor Power ever again.
Local brick-and-mortar store that has better service and pricing than the big box corporate boys!
I had a great service and product experience here several years ago replacing a Honda mower carb. I need another and am headed back, no worries. Id give 5 stars but they didnt have a complete gasket set for the carb, auto choke and air cleaner for that engine.
Awesome staff very knowledgeable, super fast turn around. Benny and all the guys are always on Point. Thanks
Horible customer service. Did not get guys name but, without looking at my zero turn that I just purchased he told me warranty would not cover. Would not recommend this place
False advertising. Fleet ad is on its website without any date to completely deceive customers. They wont honor the price and the company reps instead blame me for calling and expecting the adertised lower price. Great.
Thy were awesome with me great people and very helpful. Trusted me when no one else wold
Went in to buy three different things and they had all in stock and very helpful.
Worst business I have ever encountered. I took my chainsaw in to have it tuned up because the motor kept dying and would not idle. After 2 weeks they had it ready and when I got it home, it ran for 20 minutes before the same problem returned. I took it back to them and they said it would be ready in 10 days due to backlog. After 3 weeks, I called them to see if it was ready. I was told it was not but they would expedite it (no parts needed). After 3 more weeks and no word from them, I called them again and was told they would have to look into it and would call me back. A week later, they still had not contacted me so, I called them again and was told they would have to see what was going on and would call me back (again). I told them I needed to know what the status was now. They put me on hold and never returned so I re-called them. They told me they were working on it and would try to have it ready by Friday (this was Tuesday). I waited two more weeks for them to call but that was just wishful thinking. I called them again and they said it would be ready the next day. I called them the next day and they said it would not be ready until Friday. On Friday they called me to say I could pick it up late in the afternoon. I did so but when asked them why it took so long, they said they didnt know. I told them that their customer service was sub-par and was told that maybe I should go somewhere else next time. Well, at least I finally had my chainsaw back so I took it home and started cutting some wood and it lasted 10 minutes before the same problem resurfaced only worse and was now totally unusable. Do not take your equipment there. Not only is their customer service terrible, their work is equally terrible, and their attitude is worse (once they have your equipment). They also require your equipment and a credit card when you drop your equipment off where you have to sign a statement agreeing that they have the right to charge you credit card a fee even if they dont fix your equipment. They wont trust you even when they have your equipment because they know how bad their service is. Spare yourself a major headache and stay as far away from this business as possible. Over 3.5 months and 2 separate repairs for the same problem should speak loudly to anyone thinking of doing business with them. If you choose to ignore this review, all I can say is I warned you.
Very friendly environment and people you can trust.
I went with my grandpa and the service is fantastic they have great suggestions. I recommend you go to austin outdoor power. Im nine years old and I learned a lot FROM austin outdoor power
Easy in and out. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Had a horrible experience there, the guys at the counter were clueless and did not help at all. I called and asked for a rebuild kit for my weed eater carb and they said they had it. I told them that I would be right there and when I got there the guy behind the counter told me they did not carry it. I told him they were holding it for me and after about 10 min he finally found it after talking to someone in the back. I then asked him if the fuel mixture screws took a special wrench and did they carry it. they told me I had to buy a entire carb or have it serviced. I am not a stupid person and when I asked them if they could ask one of the mechanics they told me to work on it you have to be a 2 cycle mechanic. when I looked at him with disbelief he told me he could get the owner and he would tell me the same thing. I have been working on engines for most of my life and his rude response was completely uncalled for. I left there thinking what a jerk. all I asked is if they had a special wrench for me to buy. I will never go there again, they have horrible service at the front counter. I found the wrench on amazon for 10 dollars. I guess customer service is not their thing.
Got three blades sharpened and it was done quickly and affordably.
This company is a scam. I brought my trimmer in and basically all the business customers that came in after me were handled as a priority to me. They ignored me until they were done with the business customers. That was the first warning. I said ALL I want is the fuel lines repaired. They were brown, brittle and falling off. The guy goes wants wrong. I thought that was a weird question but I answered anyway. I said well it runs and shuts off. Obviously, I said, the fuel line to the carb. falls off. Then the guy said $25 deposit, it will take over a month (once all the business customer products were taken care of, then they would look at mine). I said well I dont want to spend too much for it. They said well they ONLY contact you if it over $100. That was the second warning. Then a month later they called me and said it was repaired and guess what it cost $3.33 shy of $100. Amazing how cost they got that mathematics to work. So they have literally done a bunch of things. Replace the spark plug (I had just put a new one on at the beginning of the season 3 months prior), carb gaskets, all sorts of things. I was upset and reminded them that I told them the ONLY thing I wanted replaced was the fuel lines. Anyway, you have to pay the hock fee or you dont get the equipment back. I take it home and it literally is now nearly impossible to start, the carb. adjustment is completely foo barred. Once you get it running, it is so lean that it eventually overheats and stops. Once you try starting again, it floods almost instantly. Its a mess. I tried calling them but they dont answer the phone. Of course not, they are busy with the commercial customers. I tried complaining to the BBB and their offer is well come back in leave another deposit and we determine on our own its our problem, well then we will fix it. Otherwise, we will charge you another fee. This company is totally incompetent. They will over charge you. They will do shoddy work. They will take forever. In a nutshell, they will rip you off. There is a reason why their rating is the worse one on this page. Dont go there. You have been warned.
I am a former employee and I can tell you that they put used parts on your machine and charge you for new one they also fix things on the machine that are not broke another words charging you to fix something that they never fixed if you have a carburetor job they also charge you to adjust your valves they also refused to pay me my last paycheck and said that they would not pay me until I gave them $300 for somebody elses windshield that was broken on their lot and trying to say that I did it with no proof just cause I quit this week for a better job
Nice buying experience...ultra poor service experience. Two service experiences, one to repair my old chainsaw. My perception was the customer interface was curt, unfriendly, and combative. Six weeks in the shop and had not been touched. I took it with me and left.So three weeks later I decided to buy a new Stihl due to its reputation. Purchased a Farm Boss. Buying experience was great. Friendly helpful courteous throughout the transaction. After a month of use, I brought it in for break-in service. Figured my bad service experience was due to my non-Stihl product. Brought my nearly new Farm Boss in for a post-breakin tune and checkup. After expressing that I got puzzled looks and non-responsiveness. The counter guy did not know what I meant by break-in. After explaining, he said they had no such service and started fiddling with receipts on the counter. So once again, I left with another bad impression of their service and their general demeanor with customers. To sum it up; they sell a great product. If you want to buy something, you might have a good experience. Skip this place for service.
Came in to get a mower serviced which was under warranty. even though they were an authorized repair place, they made me put $25.00 deposit down which they said was refundable. i came to pick up my mower when NO service was done because i decided to return it instead. and they said that i cant get back the $25.00. soo...they basically stole that from me for holding my mower for 2 hrs. THEY ARE THIEVES DO NOT GO TO THEM
WORST BUSINESS IN TOWN!!Last may 4th 2016, I took my weed eater for check up because the motor kept dying and would not idle even after I have it tuned up and replaced all gaskets and filters. the desk attendant told me that they can repair anything but I need to pay $25 for the assessment and in case they find that my engine need a more expensive repair over $90 they will give me a call to get my authorization for any repair and if I agree with it, those $25 will be counted towards the final repair price as deposit, so I told him No you need to call for my authorization if requires over $50 repair, because my weed eater has over 7 years of good service already, and for $90 I better to get a new one instead. he agreed and told me not to worry about... BTY this guy spoke to me only in poor Spanish because he noticed that Im Mexican, which I dont care because I though he want to be nice with me and probably he assumed I dont speak enough English, anyway after 4 weeks I called to check if they had it ready my weed eater and the guy told me that if I knew they can take up to 4 weeks to review any item, so I clearly told him that precisely I was calling because 4 weeks has been passed and I never heard anything from them, on June 8th 2016 (3 days after I called) I got a message in my voice mail that my weed eater is ready to pick up and the total will be $51.19 so my first Bad surprise was when I went to pick up the weed eater that they are charging me $20.19 of a new carburetor and $31 for Labor (to change a carburetor on this tiny engines does require only 2 neurons and 5 minutes of your precious time), and I thought OK I have to pay only $26.19 since I had $25 on deposit, BIG MISTAKE, the $51.19 was on top of the $25 I payed first, so my grand total was $76.19 so they where only $13.81 under the $90 limit to dispose the weed eater, my second big mistake was not to turned on the weed eater right on site to check if the problem was really fixed, so I took it home wait until next available weekend I have to cut my lawn when I found that now the problem is worse... the weed eater never start at all... and I did so many attempts to start the engine until the starter cord came completely out of the pulley so I have to brought back to AOP, The same front desk associate told me that is not a problem and that still under the repair warranty so I left the weed eater again in their hands, he said it would be ready in a few days due to backlog. On June 17 I receive a message in my voice mail saying that the weed eater is ready to pick up and this time I will have to pay another $16. 24, so I went to pick up and I told the guy that I was not happy with their poor client service and I refused to pay for something supposed to be under their repair warranty, so this time he told me that if I have a complain in that case I need to speak with the owner... (he was thinking that like most Mexican landscapers doesnt speak English they declined to fight for their rights with the owner because he is an white Anglo guy) so I told him no problem I will discuss this issue with the owner, he called him over the phone and the owner came to speak to me... (big surprise for them because thanks God I speak English as my 3rd language), So I explained to him all the details and he is WORSE than his illiterate employees he only said that if I dont pay the extra $16.24 he will put my weed eater in the pawn shop, I told him the problem is not the money... is the actions against clients.. those $16.24 I can give you as a Tip if I wanted just to pay your sarcastic smile... but with that kind of service I wonder why you have so many BAD REVIEWS, and told them I will put mine and he told me that he doesnt cares about this type of reviews so I paid the money and turned on the weed eater just in front of them (so loud!!) to check this time if works and I left this place FOREVER.PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VALUABLE EQUIPMENT THERE!!/jrgg
I had a 32 gravely zero turn and was looking to replace it with a 60. I had shopped everywhere in San Antonio and was not happy with pricing. I ran across Austin Outdoor Power and they were significantly less for what I was looking for. I bought the 60 ZT HD with bagging attachment and lights. Drove up to austin to pick it up knowing the bagger was on back order. It came in a few days later and one of the service guys drove to my house and installed it. Absolutely a great experience. Ive had the mower now about 3 years and have had zero trouble with it.
Excellent place to buy quality lawn equipment and parts to repair your broke down equipment. This is the place to shop.
Serviced my Echo blower there a month ago. Fast service and its cranked up every time since.
Worst place ever took over a week when I was told it be 24 to 48 hrs to sharpen 2 chainsaw blades, and replace a broken pull star cord on my chainsaw. There customer service also sucks, I had to wait on them to stop chatting with each other they just keep telling me some one will be with you shortly.. 15mn went by and then one of the workers said have you been helped after she had told me a couple mn earlier that some one would be with me shortly...must of been high on something.
Austin outdoor power specialize in small engines sales and services for riding lawnmowers, push mower, saws, weedeaters and more !
Well...it is now a year since I posted my first review of AOP and much to my disappointment, they have not improved. The Gravely lawnmower which I purchased at this reseller for over $1000.00 has required a repair for the powered drive each year of ownership so far. I do get it serviced...despite the customer service experience you get at AOP...its definitely an experience...one of frustration on the customers part and indifference on the part of AOP staff. I find it ironic that AOPs response to my last post was to quote an average turnaround time of 7.29 days for their service tickets. Rest assured, on average your repair/service ticket will not be even close to the 7.29 days figure.Okay...so it is obvious my disappoint comes from their indifferent customer service attitude...and their constant defense of their poor performance as the manager Joe stated, this (i.e. small engine repair) isnt an exact science...weve been back logged as much as six weeks for repair. Sorry Joe, a lawn mower essentially consists of a motor, a drive mechanism and a blade. It is, in fact, pretty basic and you have access to the professional resources of the manufacturers which you represent. I pay you for the conveinence of not having to perform these repairs myself...you should be able to better estimate and perform the repairs youre paid for.Heres the lastest performance from customer service at AOP: I dropped my mower off two weeks ago and showed the front desk attendant the broken part and explained what wasnt currently operating. This individual did not capture this detail so when I was called two weeks later to pick up my repaired mower, the broken housing had not been ordered and replaced. So, not only was their, itll be ready in a month assertion not accurate, ultimately they didnt even complete the repair as requested. When I explained that since they do not offer loaner mowers or even rentals while customer equipment is being repaired that I had to sign up for a mowing service...i.e. their long estimate cost me money because I took them at their word...they just shrugged and gave me a very unconvincing Im sorry. They also didnt seem to care that they had caused me an inconvenience by calling me in when the repair hadnt been completed...in fact, Joe the manager told me to finish my story when I was explaining why I was unhappy. At this point, I need to sell this mower and buy another brand at another dealer...AOP doesnt deserve even one more cent of my hard earned money. They should be boycotted by everyone...but I know the commercial customers which make up the majority of their business will continue to support them. My mistake was not seeing this early on.
Very helpful and easy to deal with.
They have a great new sign!
Extremely Rude people. Gave all wrong info & they are greedy of money more than anything. Went there for my lawn mower repair, and they behave as if I came for free repair. When I asked why did you have wrong info, they said Im not their customer yet. Never go there!
Always helpful!
I call ahead may I have the parts waiting for me when I got there I was in and out just a few minutes.
These guys are freaking awesome!
Excellent service
Worst customer service !!!!! I went in to look for a part for a machine and the employee named Benjamin not only directed me to the wrong product, but got mad when I asked questions !!!! Will never shop here again !!!!! Good luck staying in business with this kind of service !!!!
Every time I leave Im mad. Wish I would have never bought hereWorld lawn sucks.
Thanks again guys.
I stopped buying from them a little over 4 years ago.
Charged for services not completed!Crooked place! Do yourself a favor and dont ever do business here!
If I could give 0 stars I would, we left our lawn mower here getting fixed & would call to see if it was ready they would say no, we left on vacation came back & called them to them telling us they had sold it after trying to contact us by mail & phone which is a lie we’ve been at the same house with the same phone number 10+ years.
Great sales department.
Bad bad service
Many people complain but if you don’t know what you want what you can expect
Gentlemen are very helpful
When it comes to customer service, they are number 1
Knowledgeable and helpful staff
They took good care of me Ai finds everything to weigh your business to cut yards
If I could give zero stars, believe me I would, I have spent years buying parts and tools, but 3 years ago a seller, who has his eye marked seems to me, was very rude, and even ran me from the place, because I went to say that a yellow post, it did not work, and I had a day of buying it, the guy got upset, then 10 days ago another guy Delgado and asked me to show me a part that he needed and he told me that they were not to teach anything, they were to make money, after three days I called again for another part that I needed, and they answered but they left me online for more than 30 minutes this is embarrassing
Very good prices with Rebaja ... very friendly ..
They treat customers with respect and what they dont have, they order soon.
