Visited the Austin Texas location (Spring of 2019) to look at used vans they had for sale on their very small lot ... didn’t take me seriously since I’m an older single female.Their loss for I had cash in-hand but took my well earned money elsewhere for business!

We a repair done to replace a leaky toilet valve. The people working on our Sprinter van we efficient and very courteous. Excellent service.

We’ve been wanting a Sportsmobile van for years and finally bought a preowned one from an individual. We took it into Sportsmobile’s Austin location to have it checked out and they were THE BEST. They carefully evaluated the current condition of each item and gave us a written report of their findings. They offered us beverages and a comfortable spot to wait while they worked. Several different employees visited with us and offered their wisdom and advise while we waited. We also enjoyed looking through their amazing demo vans while we were there.There was one small thing we needed done immediately and even though this location was obviously super busy, they were able to schedule the work the same day. When we returned we realized we hadn’t followed proper procedure with the previous owner to complete the purchase, title change, etc. Sportsmobile staff went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to walk us through the steps, including writing down addresses and phone numbers for each step. During both our appointments we noticed how very busy they were and yet they made every effort to meet our needs.We’ve been dreaming about owning a Sportsmobile for years because of what we’ve learned about the quality of their product. Now we are equally impressed with their customer service. We’re looking forward to years of fun in our ‘starter van’ and to designing our dream van down the road.

I was holding off on this review but Ive determined they just dont care about customer service thats all I can ascertain. I had these guys complete a build for me - it was delivered 3 months after the delivery date I was given and the day I was scheduled to pick it up it still wasnt ready. To make it worse when I got there I noticed a couple of things that werent correct, but I wanted to drive it and camp in it so I could go back one time to get everything tweaked or fixed. I called to schedule an service appt 2 months ahead of time and was told they are running 6 months out for any service. I want to love this vehicle and maybe the other locations are better but this one doesnt care about customer service or delivering a quality product the first time.Update - in all fairness only after writing the above review I got in to get service when I wanted to get in and was assured the delay mentioned above for service was a miscommunication. I met with the shop foreman and went through the things that needed to be fixed, and left the van with the confidence it would be corrected. I picked the van up and almost everything on the list was fixed. I also noticed they hired more office staff which was a bonus for all their inbound calls Im sure they get here. I believe the team is committed to making the process better for future customers.

I recently bought an early 90s sportsmobile and am in the process of restoring it. As a completely inept mechanic and handyman, I naturally have lots of questions concerning the design of the Sportsmobiles and how to fix some of the various problems that have come up during the process. The entire staff has been incredibly helpful and friendly. Kevin, the GM of the shop is especially friendly and seems to really enjoy his job. I drove my van to their shop unannounced and he still made time to show me around the van and gave me advice on how to fix some tricky problems. Thanks!!!

Ever here the term buyer beware? Read John Carrs review then check this out. FOURTEEN months ago I gave Sportsmobile $2000 dollars to order a Sprinter van. Months later they tell me the dealership had received the van. When it came time for me to give them the options I wanted them to install they conveniently missed the appt. A couple of weeks before I was to take delivery I am told the dealership did not receive my van. HUH? If you were to take $2000 dollars from, I dunno, lets say just 100 people over the course of a year and put it in a C.D. how much money could you make off of it in a year? Dont, DO NOT, trust this establishment.
