Oakley, the owner, is a wonderful person and really takes care of your Ducati. I highly recommend him.
Took my 2007 Ducati 1098s in to get the 7500 mile full Desmo service done and also get a TPS fault fixed. Oak did an amazing job keeping me updated on the progress and anything that caught his attention. Ended up also fixing my kickstand as it was stripped out. I ended up paying less than half of what I would have from an actual dealer but got better service and an amazing end result. Bike runs like new now and I couldnt be any happier. You can tell he knows what hes doing and has a passion for these great machines. Oak has earned himself a new customer and I will be only taking my bike into his shop from now on!
Recently had my 1098 SF serviced (major) here with Oak and I cant say enough about his attention to detail and quality of work. Ended up getting valves adjusted, all fluids flushed, timing belts, and any other accompanying maintenance. On top of that his prices are more reasonable than any other shop I called around to. Now my bike runs beautifully and I will be returning to him for any future work.
Please, do yourself a favor: If you have a Ducati and are in need of service, bring your bike here. Oakley may not give you the quickest turn around, but he will give you the very best result. My bike visited several other shops in town for service before I found this shop. Its coming back here every time from now on. Thank you Oakley for diagnosing and fixing the real issue with my bike. Youve helped me fall in love with it all over again! :D
I went there once, and it is rock on! The owner is a great guy and very friendly. He will only charge you what is right, and will do his best work for you. This place is a refresher from authorized Ducati shops that charge you an arm and a leg...
I stumbled upon Oaks shop on Yelp and Google Maps. If you have a Ducati and are tired of paying stealership prices, look no further. Oak is a consummate professional who clearly loves and takes pride in his work. My bike sat for 3.5 years and needed to be tuned up, and he was kind enough to swing by on a weekend to pick it up. Most other shops will give you their buddys business cards to do the pick-up service. He is a no-nonsense kind of guy and does only what is needed. He goes above and beyond the call of duty (he saw some scratches on the tank/tail/CF swingarm cover, and decided he wanted to help buff things out. And so he did, on the house.) The total bill came out to be HALF of what the dealership quoted, so that tells you the kind of padding thats in most of these service bills. One thing to point out is that Oak is a one-man shop, so if you think you can drop off the bike on a Friday and expect it for a Saturday track-day, you may want to let Oak know your expectations. Other than that, I have now found my go-to local Austin Ducati mechanic.
Although Oakleigh specializes in Ducati service and repair, he has provided great service for my BMW1200 GS. I give him 5 stars for personal attention and quick turn around!
This guy is awesome! Helped me out with decoding the service history of a bike out state!
Great motorcycle service with the personal attention.
