Best Place to find Old School Records in ATX

Love this place! The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. My partner and I went in with a general idea of what we wanted but nothing in particular. He recommended some amazing albums to us that we have on repeat weekly, if not daily.

On Google Maps the store was listed as open and open for in-store browsing. This was not the case. There was a closed sign on the door. This was on Friday 9/11 @3:30PM.

Great little store! Great selection, great prices! The owner is very friendly and workable on the prices! Fantastic selection of both new and used records! Also has a great amount of CD’s AND Cassettes.Overwhelming amount of 12 inches of rap and hip hop. Not to mention a great selection of rock, punk, latin, funk, soul, folk, and electronic music. Also available for DJ booking as well!Would definitely recommend stopping by!

Great spot

Heres a fun time.... You walk nearly 30 minutes from your hotel to a record store in 95 degree heat only to be greeted by a sign that says Will Return 12:45. Okay thats 45 minutes away, so you walk across the street and grab some lunch. You return to the record store at 1:00. Now the sign says Will return 1:00. You wait. Its 95 degrees. You wait some more. Its now 1:25. It looks like this just isnt happening, so you leave.

Turntable Records is family owned and Austin based. They have a great mix of old and new hits. I love the large selection of latin freestyle music they have. I remember the old shows and autograph sessions here when I was a teenager.

Very small place. There are very few price tags on the merchandise. Out of the dozen I was interested in only 1 had a price.

Nice little store. Looking forward to visiting again when I have more time to dig through old albums.

This is an old school place, i bought my first stevie b record/tape
