This place is 5 stars all around. I have brought multiple cars to this shop and they do virtually everything for a pretty great price. From oil changes to getting my a/c controller replaced, all the work is done professionaly and within the time they tell you unless there are other issues of course. They usually call to let you know how the service went and if there are other issues before even proceeding to do any more unexpected repairs along side estimates. Also these guys are not afraid to let you know if they cant do the job or recommend you to take it to another shop or dealer, its very rare they cant do something but Ive only heard it happen once within the past several times I have come in within the past 2 years. Highly recommend, great quality work, they do appointments online, trust worthy and straight forward.

Service was good but their old school and you need to call in for setting up service DO NOT USE their web page. They do not accept their online coupons and I made a online appointment for 11.30, arrived on time and was told everyone was out for lunch and would have to wait 1 hour for the oil change. Was told I should have called in.

I always feel safe with this shop, never taken advantage of. It’s hard to find a mechanic who is honest with exactly what you need and these guys never try to over sell or create issues that are not really there. I appreciate their honesty.

Meineke did their usual great job that keeps us coming back. Just a simple oil change but they checked all my tires - even the spare! Friendly service and attention to detail.

I will start by saying I have had a great experience before which is why i was so upset by my last experience. I called ahead to schedule an appt the guy was a little curt with his answers i just assumed he was a bit busy though. He said i didnt need one I said okay then asked if the coupons worked he said all but the 17 dollar oil change. I was like perfect and I said see you then and he hung up. I come Saturday like I said and they could not accommodate me, I said that I tried to make an appt and we are from Lake isabella drove and hour plus to get here and he said well you shouldve said that on the phone. I was like i could come back and he responded that the best he could do was have us leave the car and they could get to it before end of day. We had no other vehicle in town so obviously that was a no go. Then I said I would go somewhere else but the 60 dollar alignment was hard to pass up and hes like that car would be 80 anyways and I was like I called to make sure, well you didnt tell me what kind of car, but being in customer service my whole life I would have asked what coupon and what vehicle. Also, saying we dont need to have an appt soynds like they will get you in and out quick so why specify where I live? The whole experience was infuriating. We ended up at big o tires down the street, got the car in we were out in 30 minutes it cost a little more but it has a one year warranty and the customer service alone was worth it. Also the Meineke team wore NO masks and big o did. If you want to go to meineke make sure to give them ALL the details or you wont get the service you are looking for because they will not ask appropriate questions.

My brakes were serviced so fast. I left to get lunch while i waited for them to fix my brakes. It was ready right as i returned from lunch. I also got my oil changed at the same time and the price was very good compared to another quote i had from another mechanic shop.

They were able to take my car in fairly quickly. Very professional and reasonably priced. I will definitely continue to take my car there.

Sandy is one of the most helpful owners that I know. He cares about his customers and their car’s safety. I bought a used vehicle recently with over 160,000 miles on it. I didn’t have a service history on it, so I wanted it thoroughly inspected. Sandy even ran a Carfax history on it and after running a diagnostic test, I felt confident that I had purchased a reliable vehicle.

Call this businessTo ask a simple question about a type of oil. The owner and manager Andy or Sandy was very rude and hung up on me in the middle of my question. Then when I called back He forwarded my call, called back a second time and got another employee to answer and say that he just stepped out and went to the post office!! I will not recommend this place and will never take my car here, now I see why they have so many bad reviews

Every Meineke Location is Franchised out so they get to pick and choose what coupons they want to honor and how they treat people I already called corporate and they said that location can do whatever they want. Way to go Meineke for not honoring your rewards points. If you reply with a phone number I have already called it.

Horrible customer service. Never even made it to the place. They do not honor online appointments so I don’t know why they offer it. I called with a simple question, he was rude and basically hung up on face. And I’ve never heard of an auto shop taking a two hour lunch. Ridiculous. You can reply to my comment however you want but it doesn’t matter. I have nothing good to say about the place to anyone and I will warn people.

Had a mobile Tuesday free oil change . Made my appointment . When I got their they said oh did you make it online? Were swamped he tried to give me a business card. Thats why I started doing my own oil changes.

I was vary happy to find out that my carrier T-Moble was working with Meineke offering a $25 service credit.But apon calling the Bakersfield center this was not the case. The person was short with me and stated they were NOT doing this promo and hung up on me, which is a shame because I had more then just my $25 basic oil that I needed done, it to bad that a first impression was my last and the prospect of gaining a new customer who may have spent $1000 is now going somewhere else. This, in my opinion is bad business.

This store falsely advertises specials (like $25 off an oil change) and then refuses to honor them. I was able to make an appointment at this location using the promotion code for this special and was only told when I arrived at the appointment that the code would not be honored. This a classic bait and switch. False advertising is illegal and dishonest. A Better Business Bureau complaint will be filed. I would highly recommend not going to a car repair or service store that is dishonest, because they will screw you over first chance they get. Also, the manager of this store is very rude (apparently, I am not the only person who has had this experience, see the reviews below).In summary, unless you want to be lied to, treated rudely, and pay more than you are supposed to for car service, I would avoid this location.

Scheduled my appointment at 3pm, called ahead of time and told them I was going to be a few minutes late and they told me it was okay. So I showed up exactly at 3:04pm, and the rude man at the front desk told me I couldnt be seen because they closed at 4 and that I should have been there at 3 on the dot. I called their call center back and they informed me they do not close until 6 and me being 4 minutes late shouldnt have been a problem. I wouldnt recommend anyone to go there,even though the price is reasonable, the customer service isnt worth it. I drove straight over to valvoline and didnt require an appointment,took 15 minutes with AMAZING customer service, worth every penny.

Always been very fair and done great work.

My sister took her car( shes had for 2 years without any prior issues with a/c) to have the a/c serviced and after waiting 2 hours she got maybe 5 minutes of cold air! She called when she got home to be told well there must have been a leak we didnt know about and there wasnt any freon in the car when she brought it in to be serviced...after 2 hours I think you would have found any damn leak the a/c had. $150 to charge freon and put a new rubber gasket on that suposably wasnt there to being with.

The service was actually done pretty quickly. The reason I gave 3 stars is because there were oil/grease stains left on the passenger seat.

Went to get oil change at 11:00 am and was told everyone is out to lunch and wont be back till 1:00 pm never knew workers could get a 2hr lunch and they didnt have one car in any bay. So you dont want my money thats fine with me.

I got my oil changed there and they put on the wrong drain plug and it started leaking and the old man there told me i had all this oil leaks and said it would be $1,200-$1,500 to fix it when it wasnt that. They tried to rip me off Ill never go back there for anything ever agian.

Horrible service!!!! Our 1st time here and we scheduled an appointment 2 days before we took our car in and they canceled our appt. Then rescheduled again, but now their saying our car has to stay all day long in order to be serviced. Never going here again. Bad service.

Wouldnt take a container of used oil I brought to recycle. Wouldnt take a coupon for an oil change, didnt even look to see what the coupon was as a matter of fact. Argued about how much oil my car needed and was very unprofessional. I walked out, called back once I calmed down, and he was still unreasonable and rude. Dont go here, support places that respect their customers!!

Sadly, it appears the decision for free oil changes for veterans was made by Corporate, and the local franchise cannot afford to honor it. Too bad there wasnt a sign outside, as there were many vets lined up when the owner arrived to dash their hopes.
