Absolutely the best on price and work. Had a tire explode on my small travel trailer at 10 oclock at night on freeway. Called Triple A to put on spare and got price gouged like crazy (950 bucks to switch exploded tire with spare - 20 minutes work. I paid $475 out of pocket AAA pd 500! Guy was 1/2 mile from where I was from his last call. Still fuming about it). Extremely nice and helpful on phone, had tires I needed in stock, got me in an out with no appointment in less than an hour. Cost less than half what I pd to have spare put on for 2 brand new tires and balanced. Customer for life.

I cant think of a better place to do business. These people are friendly and efficient. I discovered them when I first came to Bakersfield year ago and needed a tire replaced under warranty. I went in yesterday to get my tires balanced on my dually free of charge. Extremely helpful highly recommend this place

November 7th, 2020 (11:30 am)This is a very exceptional company with employees that go above and beyond to ensure customer (or in my case not even a customer) satisfaction. One employee in particular, Jake, did what another shop would take an hour or two to do, depending on wait times, took him 15 minutes exactly, in a gas station parking lot mind you, and got me and my family back on the road in our emergency situation. He was a stand up guy, I simply asked if he had onboard air on his truck because he was parked on the side of the road and I had a super low tire, he met me in the gas station parking lot and turns out, my tire had other issues. Like I said he got me fixed up and out of there for no more than a handshake and “go meet up with your family, drive safe” it’s that kind of character and dependability you can expect from Smith and son tire shop. I owe that guy a 12 pack and carne asada tacos for sure. And now because of this experience I won’t go to anyone else. Lifelong customer gained today.

Excellent service! Last night (Thurs) after 5 pm my employee blew out a tire on his trailer while towing another vehicle and was stranded in Delano on a freeway off ramp. I had called multiple companies and was told we cant bring you a tire and they could only tow entire vehicles which was no help at all. One company however told me to call Smith & Sons and gave me the number. I called and spoke with Lee (in after hours dispatch) who was very polite, addressed our concerns, calmed our worries, and said he could get a tech out to help my employee right away. We had to submit a credit card payment in advance over the phone which was nerve racking because we were unfamiliar with this business, but that technician showed up within an hour like Lee said, and with the tire we needed. He got my employee back on the road safely so he could finish out his day. My employee stated the gentleman who showed up was very nice and helpful. The pricing was reasonable for a late call. As promised, I also received our receipt in an email as soon as the office was open the very next morning. This company is legitimate and has great service and if we ever need roadside emergency service we will definitely call them back and also refer them out to others. The service was fast and they serviced my vehicle same day. Ill be back for more service later. They were quoted me in the morning, I called to schedule an appointment and was able to be seen that afternoon. They had my tires in stock. It was the best deal I could find plus it was same day service. Cant beat that.

They where gonna offer me a job and last minute they canceled and i had told them that i quit my job just so i can work with them.All they said was sorry and that they will call me back its been 2 weeks already and im looking for work now because of them.

I was coming back from a weekend at the coast pulling my 28 ft travel trailer which is 1 year old almost to the day, feeling like im always prepared i have AAA for towing and any road side assistance that may come up. i was on I-5 when the first tire threw off the tread coming up to the lake pyramid observatory, my wife said no worries ill call AAA after she got off the phone they said they would be like 4 hours so i said call them back and ill just change the tire no big deal so i did and we got to exit 11 just coming into Bakersfield the time now was 3:00 pm on a Sunday afternoon and another tire blew so now no spare we were stuck! so we called AAA back they say not to worry they would have someone out within an hour after waiting an hour we called back only to be told we were a priority (wrong!) they kept stringing us along until now it was 6:00 pm on Sunday now there were no tire stores open we were stranded on the side of the road in a not so good neighbor hood. After calling around only to find no one that would help, Smith & Sons tires stepped they said Ill have someone out to you in like 90 min well like 25 min later the truck pulled up very professional guy gets out of the truck with a big smile and saves the day! you will always be my place to buy TIRES.
