Bought a used car 3 months ago. We were promised three free oil changes. We go to redeem one of those oil changes and guess what? NO ONE at the service desk can find any record of the promised oil changes! Then, Corey, in service tells me about how that must have happened at the other branch of the dealership -which was sold. Imagine that! Getting f-cked over by a dealership s service department! We have a fleet of commercial vehicles and you can bet WE WILL NEVER buy another car from Thompson s.
The associates are always so happy and very nice to their customers, they take the time to assist each customers as individuals, I would recommend them to anyone who wants some one who cares

I could have been killed. I took my vehice to Thompsons automotives collision repair shop after being involved in a accident with a tractor trailer. After not hearing from them for a week I called for an estimate, when doing so Ill let them know but I wanted them to check underneath the car that make sure everything was in good working order and to see if the car needed a alignment considering I was impacted on the driver side front wheel. After being told to come pick my vehicle up I asked them did they find anything wrong with the mechanics of my vehicle and was an alignment done. I was told they did nothing with that alignment and thats one should have been performed and that I had to come back to pick up my car another day. The next day I was called and told that there was extensive damage they needed to be repaired. When I did get my car back I noticed some grinding when getting up to higher speeds so I took my car back to get them to check to see what the grinding was about. I was told it was my wheel hub on the same wheel that was impacting but for some reason they told me it had nothing to do with the accident therefore they could not repair it. I took my vehicle to meineke they get them the check with the grinding was about and they told me that it was the wheel hub but also a bolt on a control arm was left so loose it could have fallen off at any moment. I drive down 97 everyday doing 70 to 75 miles per hour just imagine what would have happened if that boat have fallen off thats why I said earlier that I could have that wow.
It seems that they have a solid line of cars but the management and HR may need to review the quality of salesmen they have. Tried to help a friend buy a car with translation due to his lack of English speaking ability, salesman put together a deal and customer wanted to know the break down of the price. Salesman said that we are making things too complicated because we are asking questions. Do salesmen expect customers not to ask questions about price break down? Maybe they have too many customers because it is tax season and they do not care about every customer that walk in. Either way, I believe Thompson Automotive Group is a great company but some of its employees may bring its reputation down. This is a customer service industry and if the salesman get to a level where he tells the customer I dont want to sell you this car anymore, then he is not qualified to be in that role. Every HR should ask its employees to treat customers with respect & dignity regardless of customers type. you should not expect that every customer is coming there to put money on the table and walk out with a car. salesmen will be tested with tough customers sometimes. so this could be an individual mistake that the company needs to monitor.
I Gave My Offer on a 2009 Ram with 61,000 miles a 9 year Old truck. that was going to take me 5 years to pay off. They let me walk out the door with a 20,000.......... Dollar check from my bank. I thought thompson automotive sell cars. the last counter Offer from thompson automotive still didnt seal the deal. I had the Money In Hand. I give them 5 stars because that. 9 year old truck is a good deal. Someone will be happy to find it
They sold me a lemon. Not a bad car but an actual lemon. When I told them I was allergic to lemons they started throwing them at me. I’ve been hospitalized twice because of this incident. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!

My son bought a car from this dealership, and every time we called with questions, we were given abrupt answers as if we were taking up someones precious time. That certainly wasnt the case when we were making the purchase. Very disappointed.
Bought a new hyundai elantra 75ooo miles tires i have 2000 miles on car and tiers are shot been a customer 20 years they want me to pay 242 dollars for 2 tires they give me 2 i can get 4 for 240 makes no sense i dont recomend thompson or will i go there again after a month Mr Joe Lyons took care of my tires he reimbursed for all four tires so now I can say Im glad he took care of the problem
