As a soon-to-be bride there’s a lot of anxiety and stress that comes along with that. But, also as a full time teacher during a pandemic, let me just say that my stress and anxiety are through the roof. I honestly was not looking forward to looking at dresses. It seemed like a daunting task I wanted to just get over. But, then I came here & met Kai. The shop itself is beautiful and the dresses are amazing. But the customer service for the VIP experience is what made this my first & last stop on my wedding dress hunt. Kai made me feel comfortable, beautiful and special. She has a clear expertise and passion for helping the brides find the perfect dress. I fell in love with my dress and this overall experience. It will forever be a day I will NEVER forget. Im not kidding when I say I must have tried on close to 200 dresses. I had no idea what I wanted to wear, just not what I didnt want to wear. Over time I narrowed it down to wanting a cool back detail, buttons, and a dress that had either no pattern or was only pattern - no half and half.Amanda Ritchey had a wide range of dresses and styles, which was especially helpful when I wanted to try on dresses again that I had seen and thought might fit the bill. Sara especially was incredibly helpful, pulling dresses and intuiting what I might be interested in. When I came in a second time to try on two dresses that I was intrigued by and shared an idea of a third, Sara found the one. I didnt cry or anything like that but as soon as I put it on, there was definitely a Oh. Yes. This.And then when COVID happened and my wedding was pushed back a year and my dress came in, I got to try it on again. Yup, still, This. And then when it finally came time to take my dress home, I loved it just as much as I did the first time I tried it on.Amanda Ritchey was so helpful and their wide offerings was exactly what I needed to find the dress that made me feel most like me, but elevated. This was my third appointment hunting for my wedding dress, and at this point I was still comparing to another dress I thought I had settled on. My mother, matron of honour and myself met with Kai. Kai is amazing, and has wonderful customer service for such a stressful event.She not only listened and found dresses that fit towards what I was looking for, but also offering suggestions and insights to make the selection easier. I am so grateful that she has the experience to make this process less stressful, and make me feel special at the same time. She made the entire experience a very fun one, and was very informative about the styles in which I didn’t have to worry.To all the brides to be looking for their dress, I suggest you meet with Kai. You will have a great time with her.

EDITED: I’ll start by saying that Kai is absolutely AMAZING! She is so helpful and her personality is so bubbly it really puts you at ease if you’re nervous (like me)! I have nothing bad to say about her.However…. BEWARE. I paid a deposit on my dress yesterday and last night I looked up the dress online to show a friend and the on the designers website it stated that it is discontinued. I called the shop this morning, and they put me on hold to check. Turns out, this dress is in fact discontinued even though they said they tried ordering it for someone several weeks ago. They also told me they were booked for this weekend so they couldn’t have me come back but that I could come back next weekend and they would call the designer on Tuesday (it’s Saturday) to see if the designer could make the dress anyway. I literally just paid over $900 on a deposit. If it’s discontinued it never should have been on the rack, how can you take someone’s money without making sure the dress is even available? Not to mention my mom flew in this weekend for this purpose and don’t even offer to try to squeeze me in to fix the situation. My can’t come back again next weekend, and I don’t have a dress. I am DEVASTATED.

Today I had the pleasure of working with Kai! She was extremely patient, kind, & fun. She definitely knows her stuff! I felt like she was a part of my bridal party because she took the time to get to know me, my personality, and my likes & dislikes. She found dresses that suited me perfectly! She also found amazing dresses that were in my budget. I would definitely recommend Kai and Amanda Ritchey Bridal.

Amanda Ritchey Bridal is the best, and most exquisite bridal shop in the DMV!! Firstly, Amanda is the most kindest and sweetest person you’ll ever meet. All of the staff are super friendly! I cannot express enough how much I loved my bridal dress experience at Amanda Ritchey! Amanda took away all my nerves and anxiety from my first appointment with her calm demeanor and styling expertise! I had an amazing experience yesterday. I went to Amanda Ritchey Bridal & Beauty a little nervous. It was my second time shopping for a wedding dress. There are so many beautiful dresses hanging in the shop and it is a bit overwhelming. But Amanda has such an amazing eye and she definitely is good at her job. She pulled dresses for me that were absolutely perfect and all we did was have a simple conversation regarding my ideas. So so pleased with my experience at Amanda Ritchey. I really did not know what I wanted in my wedding dress, I just knew what I didnt want.I went with low expectations after having a blah experience at another bridal salon. I didnt think a traditional dress would be for me but I went through the motions to have my mom part of the experience.We worked with Amanda for our appointment, she listened to my concerns and listened to the things I didnt want. She pulled about 6 dresses and WOW. I actually liked several of them but the one I chose was definitely the ONE. She listened to me, understood my body frame, and hand picked the most amazing dress.I got SO many compliments on my dress as my wedding. I really felt like I was wearing the dress, like it was made for me, vs feeling like the dress wore me. Amanda was never pushy and also was sensitive to my budget. Highly recommend!

I loved my experience and dresses that I tried on at Amanda Richey Bridal. My bridal consultant, Sarah was awesome and so patient with me. Amanda pulled some of the most beautiful gowns for me. I loved so many dresses that it is going to be hard for me to decide. One of the things that I loved most about my shopping experience is that I was able to fit so many beautiful gowns and this is a challenge being a plus size queen.

I was looking for a Mother of the Bride dress, and l really had no idea of what I wanted. Amanda was so delightful, compassionate and professional. I can’t wait for my dress to come in. This was an exceptional experience.

My shopping experience was great at Amanda RitcheyBridal. Amanda called me herself to confirm my appt which I thought was a nice touch and made things feel very personal. She greeted me as I walked in and sat with me to talk about my wedding and to get to know me and my vision. Amanda pulled a lot of dresses for me to try and it was almost as if she had ESP ! Every gown was perfect and she helped me climb into each one. I never felt rushed and she never left my side during the appointment. I recommend this shop for your bridal needs !

Cannot say enough about the selection here! I am a bridesmaid in my friends wedding and was so impressed by the selection of dresses that I had to write a review. We have been EVERYWHERE! Not sure why this was our last stop but needless to say...SHE FOUND THE ONE! Do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment! I should add that the staff was very friendly too and allowed 3 of us to join the appointment.

AMAZING DRESSES and GREAT STAFF! I was nervous because I didnt have a very big budget and didnt know what I wanted or what would look good on me. My consultant Anne was the BEST! She pulled dresses for me that were in my budget $1200 to $1500. My favorite ended up being one of the dresses they had on SALE! I felt beautiful and was so thrilled when she told me my dream dress was only $999! The owner came over and congratulated me which I thought was a nice touch! Thank you Anne!

Horrible customer service. Be warned this place does not know how to communicate.I went in with my bridesmaids in February to pick out bridesmaid dresses. I have 3 bridesmaids. Only 2 of them where with me because my third lives in NC. And I told the consultant that from the beginning and that she will probably order her dress from somewhere near her home. But she says let’s write her info down anyway. I’m like ok no harm in them have her written down. So we find some dresses that we loved. The consultant said you have some time your bridesmaids can each call and order their dress within the next few weeks. Ok great. My two bridesmaids do that. One pays for her dress in FULL. The other puts a deposit down and then calls to confirm that the dress has been ordered. They say yes it will be about 3 months. Ok fast forward to mid July. Have not heard anything out of this salon. So my bridesmaid calls to check on the status of her dress. They say we can’t find the file we will give you a call back. So they call me later that day. And they tell me that they never ordered my bridesmaid dresses because my third bridesmaid didn’t call in with her information. So I tell them well because she ordered it somewhere else which I said might happen. Well they respond with they had no idea and saying I never told them that and their policy is to order the dresses all together. I’m sorry but NO ONE once said that to me or my other bridesmaid when we were there. And that is about the dumbest thing. And please do not give me a dye lot excuse because I work with dye lot issues all the time with my job and that is BS. As long as the dresses are ordered close together there should not be a major dye lot issue that is that noticeable. And if that is their policy then part of that policy should be checking in with the bride after the two bridesmaids called and paid and the one doesn’t. Instead of taking my bridesmaids money and never ordering the dresses. And here is the real kicker they can’t get the dresses I want in time now so I have to find something else less then 2 months before my wedding during a national shortage of everything. I work in customer service and this situation was handled so poorly. Thank god my bridesmaids actually called to check on the status of their dress because if not I would have never gotten a phone call and it would be August or September and I would be even more stressed out. I hope that this never happens to another bride or her bridesmaids. And that this salon learns how to better communicate with their customers. Because the way that I was talked to yesterday was appalling, having some sales woman basically say there is nothing they can do but give my girls a refund and that I should have called then sooner. BS. You should have reached out to me months ago to check in. And you never did. You should have just apologized and taken full responsibility for your mistake instead of implying that this is anybody’s fault but your own. And you shouldn’t have lied to my bridesmaid saying you ordered her dress and never did. And my bridesmaids should have each gotten a phone call right way with an apology and a full refund which still hasn’t happened. Work on your communication so you don’t ruin someone else’s wedding. I have my flowers, napkins, and accessories all planned around these dresses that I now won’t be getting.

We were here for a wedding dress shopping appointment for my friend on Saturday and if I could leave zero stars I would. When making these appointments, I specified how anxious my plus sized friend was about wedding dress shopping, so we wanted to ensure there were enough sample dresses to try on and she felt comfortable during the process with the consultant. We started the appointment with the consultant saying I will be pulling the dresses for her to try on as I see fit so we were not allowed to browse. The woman then looked my friend up and down, dramatically took off her jean jacket and took a deep breath as if she was preparing for her hardest day at work in her life, and ran around the store pulling whatever she wanted that was nothing what my friend had described. Not only that, but her consultant constantly made fat-shaming side comments to her as she aggressively threw her into over 10 dresses within 30 minutes, as well as made side comments to the two of us with her at the appointment about how [the bride]s picky isnt she and She will never find what she is looking for in her size. Needless to say, we left and my friend proceeded to have a full panic attack. Unfortunately we were not privy to her digging comments in the changing room as she shoved my friend into dresses or I would have ended the appointment earlier. This was by far the worst experience and exactly what we had wanted to avoid. I will never recommend anyone shopping here as they are not inclusive despite having plus sized sample dresses.

My experience today with Anne was amazing. With her suggestions and enthusiasm, I felt like I was on an episode of Say Yes to the Dress. Anne listened to everything I said about my style and pulled dresses in my budget and what I envisioned Id look in my wedding gown. We laughed a lot so I wasnt stressed in the least. I could have spent the whole weekend in the salon with Anne and my mom and sister twirling in dresses. Thank you Anne for making me feel like a princess!

From finding the dress to alterations, Amanda Ritchey Bridal made the dress-buying process simple, stress-free, and special. I showed Amanda my inspiration photos at my first appointment and she picked out dresses that truly matched my personality and style. Seconds after I picked the one (an Essense of Australia gown), she found a veil that matched the unique color of my gown. The shop kept me informed throughout the whole process. I scheduled my fittings with the seamstress, Ann, who was the absolute sweetest. She advised me on extra day-of details, had great suggestions for getting in and out of the dress, and put in the most gorgeous bustle. The dress fit like a dream. I would highly recommend Amanda Ritchey Bridal to any bride!

Amanda Ritchey was my first stop for a weekend of dress shopping. I picked this store because it was the only local bridal salon who carried a specific designer I was interested in. Unfortunately I did not have the best experience, but Amanda reached out to me personally to discuss my concerns. She handled the situation with kindness and class, which goes a long way.My one piece of advice if shopping at this store, ask to work with Amanda herself. And if your consultant is Anne, turn around.

My daughter went to Amanda Ritchey in March to shop for her bridal gown. Amanda helped us and was Awesome! She asked my daughter what style she liked the most and then picked other styles that she thought she would look good on her. My daughter wound up choosing the third dress that she tried on that Amanda picked out for her. The gown was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Amanda Ritchey.

Where do I even begin!!! Being limited to only 5 stars just isn’t fair. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Amanda and my experience at her Bridal Shop. From the gate, She was very attentive to my budget and i felt like she really paid attention to everything I said I wanted in a dress.I’m originally from Jersey and recently moved to the area so I went alone to try on dresses (which is so sad ..i know lol), but she made me feel comfortable and I ended up finding THE ONE!! The vibe is chill, the lighting is amazing, and her selection is enormousI made an appointment here based on the great reviews and it’s hard to believe that anyone would give this place anything less than 5 stars. Like are they sure it’s the same shop I went to lol? I could have tried dresses on all afternoon!I would recommend Amanda and her team to anyone. You would be doing yourself a disservice if they weren’t on your list of places to find your dress.

I have never written a bad review before, but I felt this was necessary as I left Amanda Ritcheys shop extremely embarrassed and upset.I was very excited to go to this shop as the reviews looked pretty good and the collections were very pretty. When I first entered, I was asked to fill out a form (which included my budget. I shared that I would not like to spend more than $1500. I felt this was reasonable as the form said most of their dresses were between $1300-$1800. When the woman looked at my form, she questioned whether my budget was flexible. This made me a little nervous as I had not had someone ask this before. Every person I had worked with at other shops was extremely respectful and cognizant of my budget.When the woman was pulling dresses, I pointed to a dress and stated I liked it and asked how much it costs. She just laughed and said a lot. The dresses pulled werent exactly what I was looking for which was okay. That happens when dress shopping. However, when I expressed this, the woman I was working with walked around the store saying that she just didnt have what I wanted for my budget. She continued saying things like this over and over again. It was mortifying and extremely uncomfortable. She even pulled a dress off the rack to tell me it was a beautiful dress, but it was $1900, so it wouldnt work.I thought this would be a fun experience, but it was just embarrassing. It is my belief that someone should never feel ashamed of their budget. Every person is in a different situation in life and should feel special, regardless of how much money they can spend. I was extremely disappointed by the customer service and would not recommend this shop to future brides.

I ended up at Amanda Ritchey (from Philadelphia) during Christmas week while I was visiting my parents. I had been in at least 7 different bridal stores before to search for my wedding dress. I went in with a picture of what I wanted after quickly searching their designers sites on my phone in the lot. They had the exact sample I wanted and it was the perfect dress- the service was great and no pushing other styles or cuts I hated like other shops tried. In 4 months the dress came in, and even my mom ended up buying her mother of the bride dress at the shop in Fallston and was happy. I got so many compliments about this dress!! And even better, it was much cheaper than any shops near Philly and under budget!!

Amanda was great! Very personable and down to earth. Understood what we were looking and for amd wasnt pushy in the least. An all around great experience!

I found my perfect wedding dress at Amanda Ritchey Bridal! My consultant Amanda was an absolute dream to work with and brought so many dresses that were my style and fit so wonderfully that I had a hard time deciding! Dress shopping as a plus size bride was something I was dreading, but Amanda Ritchey Bridal has so many options and sizes in their selection of dress and their consultants that are so knowledgeable, that it was one of my favorite wedding experiences!

Gina was excellent! I love her . She made me feel like I was her daughter. She let me try on all types of dresses she took her time . Her customers service was outstanding. I would recommend anyone her. It just a charm. I had the best experience ever.

My daughters Bridal consultant was wonderful and she ended up choosing the first dress she tried on as the consultant did such a great job listening to her. Dress was custom ordered along with a Belt that she tried on with the dress. Come to find out the dress came with a belt that worked beautifully. Custom ordered for length as well as it was a Horse Hair hem and could not be altered. First fitting went beautifully ! Second fitting pinning was done to take in the top of the dress slightly and add cups. Daughter went for final fitting two weeks before the event by herself and said that the dress fit perfectly. Were told to pick up the gown two weeks later and it would be steamed and ready to go. We picked up the gown the day before the wedding and took it home to unbag and hang the dress so it wouldnt get further wrinkled. It was not as fresh and steamed as I would have liked to have seen. I ended up steaming it myself the morning of the wedding. On a side note, although the dress was beautiful the top had been altered much too tightly. When my daughter tried it on two weeks prior she was told that it Needed to be tight so it would not fall down. However, on her wedding day it took three of us to zip it up and the hook and eye popped in the process. She was in tears and we had a near catastrophe. Fortunately, we got it up and she looked beautiful. Overall it was a wonderful experience bvut I should have taken the dress back to the shop to be steamed again and I should have gone with my daughter for her final fitting; the seamstress there can be a little overbearing and I think my daughter felt pressured to go along with what she was saying rather than what was comfortable. Would highly reccomend the shop as a whole!

The bridal studio was beautiful and well kept. The room where I tried on my gowns was well lit, spacious and private. They have a large selection of gowns and designers (one of the number one reasons why I went there). Amanda was the one who helped me with the entire process, from trying on numerous gowns, listening to my suggestions and providing a stress-free, fun and exciting wedding shopping experience. She is very knowledgeable about her gowns and designers and you can see the passion she has for her career. I found my dream dress here and it was my first time dress shopping. I was impressed overall and would recommend this studio to anyone!

Amanda is amazing! I went in to find a wedding dress. She sat down with me and went over what I liked and didnt like, my budget, and my concerns. She pulled a few dresses, and she nailed it! The first dress was amazing. She took my feedback on the next 2, then pulled a dress I would not have picked for myself, and I fell in love! She worked with me to figure out how to extend the sleeves and make it look cohesive. She nailed the veil, too! She definitely knows what shes doing! My sister is getting married in Maryland and the majority of the bridal party is from out of town. Some of the bridal party members arrived a little late...including myself. However, this did not alter the wonderful experience we had at the bridal shop. Myself including my best friend had to bring our 4 year old daughters with us and the shop was very accommodating to not just us but also our daughters. Everyone was so pleasant and friendly it made for a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend your services to anyone I know in the area.

As a solo bride coming into the store, I felt more than welcomed and admired by all the gals working that afternoon. They let me pick the first few dresses, and then they grabbed a handful more that I wouldn’t have picked normally, but was thankful they did! I may not have left the store saying yes to any dress, but they were very educational and helpful with narrowing down the style and fit that I’m looking for. I plan on rebooking another appointment to try on a few more options

Loved shopping for my daughters wedding dress at Amanda Ritchey Bridal. Amanda was so incredibly helpful in every way and the store is beautiful. We bought our older daughters dress here three years ago and everything went perfectly. So excited for my second daughter to have found her dream dress at this great bridal shop. Everyone was so kind and attentive and made her feel like a princess. Thank you Amanda and staff for making this such an enjoyable experience!!!!!

If you want the full dress shopping experience, you won’t find it here. I’ve heard funeral homes louder than this place — the ambient silence was so off-putting and awkward. Maybe add some nice music in the background. Lighting was also awful. Everyone felt very awkward after leaving this salon. :/Additionally, we weren’t greeted when we came in, despite employees walking right past us. That’s when I knew I wouldn’t be buying my dress from them. The person who ended up helping us was cold at first, but seemed to warm up to us by the end.

My daughter and I had the most amazing experience at AR! In 10/18, we went to the salon hoping to find “the dress” for her 10/19 wedding....after a disastrous appointment at Elegant Touch.Megan was our consultant and she greeted us with a warm smile and an air of sincerity and knowledge. She spent a great deal of time getting to know us, learning details about the wedding and focusing on my daughter’s vision. Megan pulled dresses best suited for her taste and shape (tiny and curvy) and in a very short time, put her in the perfect dress! Megan continued putting her in the remaining dresses to ensure my girl had chosen “the dress.” She even lowered the lights in the salon to mimic how the dress would show in candlelight! Megan jacked her up with a veil and belt and the search was over. Honestly, it was beyond perfect.We made a follow up appointment to show the dress to my girl’s future MIL, SIL and my mom before finalizing the deal. Megan was just as enthusiastic (as was the owner) the second time around and celebrated with us as the entire entourage gave their approval.Amanda Ritchey and Megan gave us the bridal experience my daughter deserved...yes, I think my kid is the best! We are more than grateful for their expertise, patience and compassion and highly recommend this salon!!!

Let me start by saying.. I used to recommend this place to EVERYONE. I have spent a lot of money here between my wedding dress, my bridesmaids dresses, and the friends who I referred here for their wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses, and so on. The last time I came for my best friends wedding for a bridesmaid dress. I was newly pregnant, at 6 weeks. We arrived for our appointment only to be told it was not on file but luckily Ann, the seamstress, was in and could assist us. I took Ann to the side (only the bride knew I was pregnant) to let her know my situation and that I would be 37 weeks at the time of the wedding and I needed help finding a correct size and style. I trusted her when she picked a style that I loved and I trusted her in the sizing. When the dress came, I was around 24 weeks maybe. The dress that was supposed to fit me at 37 weeks didnt fit my stomach area already and I wasnt even close to the day!! It was SUPER tight, no give at all in the dress. I called and made an appointment to meet the owner / seamstress to see what they could do. The day of the appointment only Ann was available, as the owner had to leave for an emergency. Anns solution was to come back 3 weeks for the wedding and she would figure out some way to get it to fit.. Leaving me no back up plan if this did not work out wit no time at all to come up a second option. I took the dress to another seamstress who I use frequently for a second opinion and was told that there was no way this would fit, there was no material to work with. I had to spend money on a different style by the same designer that I found online and it fits perfectly and has stretch (if only the seamstress chose this dress originally).. Now, the bride is being called by the place and being told that the owner knew nothing about this issue (I had an appt so I am not sure how this is true), or any of the other bridesmaids issues (2 other bridesmaids dresses came back smaller than they were supposed to be!) and that she cant do anything to help me at all. It wasnt the dress or size or their fault.. Unfortunately, I dont agree because I have stayed pretty small this pregnancy and should have fit into this dress just fine ... and thank God I have found another option. But I am out a lot of money when I could really use it. The dress they chose for me was almost $250. I would like a refund on the dress that they chose for me but I am being told there is nothing that they can do and I can sell it on a wedding website. Bottom line is, I will not recommend this place going forward, as I dont appreciate the way they handled this situation. I trusted them and ended up getting screwed completely.**IF YOU ARE PREGNANT, THE BRIDE WAS SPECIFICALLY TOLD 6 months after the fact THAT they DO NOT consider their dresses maternity and sizing up the standard 3 sizes does not mean it will fit. They are not responsible for these dresses fitting. I was not informed of this at the time of buying**

I love my Mother of the Bride gown that I purchased from Amanda Ritchie. Unfortunately, when it came to the alterations I had an issue. I took the dress to Ann and she said it only needed a hem. All she did was safety pin the dress and wrote on my receipt to pin. I dropped off the dress April 25 and was told I will have the dress in a couple of weeks. By the end of May, no word from Ann. I called 3 times and on May 30 she called me back and told me the dress would be done on June 4. When I tried the dress on, IT WAS TOO LONG! She told me that you want your dress to drag on the ground. I went home and was tripping all over the dress. I called a tailor on June 5 and when he saw my dress on me he said that is too long. He chalked where to hem and said to pick the dress up on June 8. He needed to hem the dress 2 so it would not drag on the ground. My dress was wonderful once he fixed what Ann could not do. I wish I could get my money back from Ann who did very little to the hem.

Went here on a bridal appointment. The staff was very nice, the set up of the store was so beautiful. I love the fact that the plus size dresses were in the front of the store and not pushed to the back of the store in a corner. Huge selection of beautiful gowns! Amanda was so very nice and helpful, she made awesome suggestion and made me feel very welcomed in the store! Thanks Amanda!

Amanda Ritchey is the best place to go when buying your wedding dress! As well as the dresses for bridal party! I had the BEST experience there! I got my wedding dress, my bridesmaids dresses and the mother of the bride dress from there and couldnt have been happier. I was treated like royalty and everyone I have sent there since has had just as great of an experience! Definitely check it out!

My sister (not by blood but by close friendship) is getting married Summer 2019 and a lot of us who are in the bridal party are from out of state and met the bride at this bridal boutique. From the moment we walked in, staff were more than willing to help and accommodate our 4yr old children who had to travel with us as well. The staff were so efficient to where we were all surprised of how fast we found what we needed and how content we were with our choices. The superb customer service is not limited to walkins/appointments, but extends over the phone as well...staff here are always ready to assist and with a smile. Thank you ladies for making my family’s experience wonderful!

Amazing service, beautiful gowns!! This place is such a gem. The staff goes above and beyond for their customers. You feel like family when you shop here! The seamstress Anne is fantastic and made my wedding dress fit me PERFECTLY!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this shop :)

We had an awful experience here. wouldnt go back. Anne screwed up my bridesmaids dress and the owner, Amanda Ritchey claimed that Anne doesnt work for her so there is nothing she could do. Yet, when we went dress shopping, we were told that we should use Anne for our alterations because if there is an issue, they will cover it rather than going to an outside seamstress for alterations. Every bridesmaid dress in the wedding party was messed up by Anne, including the brides dress. the only one who didnt have an issue with hers had gone elsewhere for alterations. Anne was rude and difficult to deal with. Amanda said she would try and fix this for us because she cares so much and yet, never called me back like she said she would. Absolutely ridiculous.

I was a little distraught coming into this Bridal Shop due to a Bridal shop horror story i had previously visited 30 mins prior to arriving at A|R. Let me say how welcoming everyone was to me and 2 of my bridesmaids. They made us feel welcomed and allowed us to be open with our desires. Amanda herself asked me what i had in mind, only to come back with a dress i showed her a picture of along with dresses that were stunning, just drop down gorgeous. The second dress I tried on was AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL and was fit just for me. If I wasnt so impressed and relieved there wouldve been tears of joy. She then paired this beautiful dress with the most dramatic vial and it was just everything I envisioned. Definitely shop and browse with these professionals, You will not regret it !!!!!!

I used Anne Wagner as my seamstress for 3 bridesmaids dresses. She works quickly and flawlessly! Her prices are very reasonable. I trusted her work so much that I took my wedding dress to her to be altered. My wedding dress fit perfectly. I had 3 of my own bridesmaids go to her, along with my mom and mother in law. Anne is the best and will go to her for any alterations I need in the future!

Went to quite a few different shops and this one was by far the best dress shopping experience I had. It was what I always imagined it would be, down to the look of the shop with nice staging areas, huge selection and a very friendly and attentive assistant. One thing I particularly liked was that I didnt feel judged when talking about my price range. It made me feel more at ease and it was just a great experience overall. (Not to mention, I found a dress I am completely in love with!) So happy I found this vendor!!

Such a great find! I told them what I wanted and the owner just floated in with these absolutely stunning choices that fit my Art Deco vision perfectly. I cannot praise the seamstress, Anne, enough for her attention to little customizations I wanted to make. She was always available via phone, email, AND text and helped me find items that I needed that I couldn’t find in the shop. My new sister in law showed me this place where she got her dress and I’m so glad she did because my gown was perfect for me.

The shop is beautiful, the amount of styles and dresses they have is really impressive, and the staff is SUPER nice and helpful. I ended up finding my dress here, and I cant wait to wear it! My consultant was great, I just cant remember her name! They had a good selection of dresses in my price range (1,000-1,500). The shop itself was pretty too.

I should have known what a nightmare this was from the moment we got there and were told we didnt have an appointment on the day - when it was 100% booked. They were able to squeeze us in - as they should have. However it was seamstress was who helped us with our appointment and measured us for our dresses. When the dresses came in 3 out of the 6 bridesmaid dressed did not fit. One Bridesmaid - was newly pregnant and let Ann know that it needed to be a dress that would work with a growing belly. It didnt work - AT ALL. It was fitted right where the stomach grew. They would not fix any of the issues with out paying for the alterations. One bridesmaid did go up there and she was able to get the dress to zip but fit more like a suffocating corset. I would understand if there was an error in the sizing on 1 ...maybe 2. BUT 3? And the fact that they are ZERO help in fixing the issues without making us pay is the cherry on top. STAY FAR FAR away from this place. Amanda Richie herself doesnt seem bothered at all and provided no resolution. Now we are left starving ourselves for the next few weeks and pray we fit into our dresses. And a bride that is extremely worried that everything works out on her big day.

If I could write a review and give zero stars I would. We went to pick out bridesmaids dresses earlier this year. Here it is less then a month away and they never called me, as promised, to let me know when my dress came in. They never even called the bride. The bride ended up calling when we were asking only to find out 1 dress was in, which was mine, but the other one was not. We ordered more then 2 dresses. They never ordered the other 2 dresses. So they had to go back in to pick out new dresses, since one was no longer available. All they could say is sorry. There is no excuse for dresses not being ordered when they were paid for. Not to mention they were attempting to argue with the one bridesmaid over the phone saying it was not ordered because of the payment... When she paid in full at the time we all put in the order and has the receipt. I called today 10/8/16 and asked if there was a coporate number. The manager said no and said I could explain it to her. Told her the story, she was well aware of it. Said that she was sorry that happened and they never called. Told her I was trying to get in touch with the lady for alterations and she would reach out since I have not heard back. Needless to say I did get a call from her within a few minutes but she doesnt have time to do the alterations before the wedding, which is fine. I honestly dont want to deal with this company anymore. They are terrible!

Beware of alterations with Amanda Ritcheys seamstress Anne!!! I had an absolute nightmare working with their recommended seamstress. I met with Anne 8 weeks before I needed my alterations finished and she assured me it would be finished on time. She told me that she would call me when she was ready for me to return for a fitting. A week before I needed the dress finished I called her multiple times and left multiple messages and she did not return my calls. I called the bridal salon who told me she was out of town and could not tell me when she would return. I finally got in contact with her AFTER the date that I told her I wanted my dress finished. She did not seem to care that she had been out of contact and missed my finish date. I got the dress from her after paying over $200 for alternations of the hem and side seam. I took the dress home with me to a different state where I was getting married to have the dress fixed by another seamstress since Anne DID NOT FINISH! My new seamstress told me she had only taken in the bust (not the waist and hips where the dress was still a good 3 inches too big!). I had to pay and extra $200 to rush these final alterations after I had paid Anne for alterations she did not finish. I contacted the owner who did not do anything to fix this horrendous experience!

Disappointed! I loved the dress I picked out initially and the way it fit me. They talked me into getting a size bigger and when it finally came in the dress was too big and very bulky and I didnt like the way it looked on me at all if it look like that I would have never picked the dress. Now I need alterations and the seamstress Ann cant fit me in for a fitting in time which they told me when I bought the dress that I should wait till one month out to schedule the fitting. I am very upset and on my own to find a seamstress. I will not be buying any more dresses from Amanda ritchey bridal and I have three more daughters getting married within the next two years.

I had the best experience here! Planning a wedding is very stressful. Amanda and her staff were amazing. They were so nice, very knowledgable and made this so easy. We even rented the guys tuxedos here. We all looked great and can’t thank Amanda Ritchey Bridal enough.

I loved my experience finding my WEDDING dress here!!! Ive known Amanda for a few years and knew one day if I ever got married that this would be the place Id find my dress. Amanda was amazing and put me in every dress that she thought I would like and the very last one in the fitting room that day turned out to be THE ONE!!! Im obsessed with it and I look at the pictures of me in it every day! I cant believe I have to wait a year to wear this gown!!!! I love love love my dress and adore Amanda and her shop!!!

Everyone has been Awesome from day one Fast forward I had to postpone my Big Extravaganza. Amanda was kind enough to allow me to keep my gown at her shop. Time flies an I just recently was able to pay Ms. Ann for my alterations and pick my gown up. When I first visited Amanda Ritcheys I instantly knew I wanted to buy my dress here and I knew I would find one. I had an awesome experience. My consultant was great and I was under no pressure to buy at all. She made things easy and I knew I didnt have to worry about anything, After I found my gown, I looked at the Bridesmaids selection and picked my ladies dresses that day. It was like the stars aligned and everything was meant to be. I highly recommend Amanda Ritchey Bridal & Beauty. Besides great customer service, I knew I was in good hands.

Was 15 minutes early for our appointment but sales rep was not ready for us for over an hour past. Made the mistake of telling sales person our dollar limit. No prices on gowns and its funny how each gown we chose was just around our limit. Small selection to choose from. Sales rep was running between us and a bride with a problem so we waited and waited and waited for service. This took the fun our of bridal shopping. Would not recommend.

Amazing service!! Bought my dress, my moms dress, and rented all the tuxedos from them! Everything came in on time and was altered to fit perfectly! Could not have been more happy :)

Absolutely horrible customer service. From the very first encounter of picking out the brides dress as well as the bridesmaids dresses. Ann who did the fitting and alterations was nasty and rude. Disrespectful to the brides mom when she asked why she never called the bridesmaids to let us know our dresses were ready. Day of the wedding every single one of the bridesmaids dresses and the brides dress was not altered correctly and in some cases didnt even seem like an alteration was attempted where it should have been. I would rate this place a 0 if it was an option due to Anns attitude and unprofessionalism alone. Would NEVER recommend to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

Went on a whim to check out possible prom gowns. Even though we didnt have an appointment and there were other groups in the store, the ladies working there had no problems answering any questions and showing us fabric swatches. They would occasionally come downstairs to see if we needed anything. We appreciated being able to just grab a dress and try it on without pressure. We ended up buying 2 dresses off the final sale rack by reputable designers. I know shopping for prom gowns doesnt measure up to the pressure of bridal gowns and wedding party attire but we had a positive experience and would shop here again.

Went to many different places looking for the right tux for my wedding and finally felt at home as soon as I entered the store. I was greeted like a king for my duration there. Lilianna took GREAT care of me and double checked ALL my measurements to make sure the Tux came out perfectly. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend coming down to this store. Lilianna was by far the nicest and most caring sales person at any of the stores I had been too, would recommend her to ANY Bride or Groom. She knows what she is doing and has a great fashion sense.
