If you are looking for a contractor, you can stop now. You have found the best one in H&A Home Improvement.Abbas was the first contractor I spotted in my online search. I liked his online videos and pictures - I appreciated the look of the work he did. I reached out and he responded almost immediately (I cannot express how much I appreciated that). Within days, we were set with plans to renovate. Then I changed the layout. And changed it again. And then probably another four times before demolition. And Abbas never made me feel annoying, crazy, etc. Instead, he smiled (and sometimes laughed) and let me change things…literally up until the last day of the last inspection. He even promised me he would work magic and oh my, did he ever! Let me clarify: we HAD the old home on the street, with old panel walls and the world’s ugliest chimney etc. It was an old house and we dreamed of modeling our home after one specific house we had visited. Abbas remembered every detail and made our dream home. He even helped design the kitchen, including the angle of the fridge and the placement of the island. He was also just as concerned about our personal budget as we were = loved that!If I did not like something, he changed it, without question or hesitation. He even came to know my taste - messaging me “I don’t think you like it 100%”. He also came shopping with me! And not just one time to Home Depot - no. He came several times, walked with me through tiles and flooring as I compared EVERYTHING, asked him 100 questions, and challenged him to explain “why” for everything. He even sat down with the kitchen designer more than once to adjust and fix items. He also ordered things for us - which was my saving grace because I literally gave up at one point and just told him to start buying stuff and he could invoice us (note: this was a long pandemic project). He was always available by email, phone, and text message. We were constantly informed of what was happening. There was never a lack of communication. My husband even started calling him “buddy” and that’s a feat in itself.Let me clarify: we were the couple (plus a toddler) who decided to renovate their home during a pandemic. Yes, that was us. And we never regretted one moment working with Abbas and his team. You are in excellent hands with H&A and I give my highest and most sincere recommendation for his work. He truly is number one!

We had our deck completely resurfaced//upgraded old 4ft fence to a 6ft privacy// and storage shed repaired with new sides and roof.All three jobs were expertly done and in a timely manner. We hired H&A Contracting to finish the basement in our new home. First off, his quote was much lower than the major contractors and comparable to the rest. What really sold me was the proposed schedule. My mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers, so it was imperative that we move her into our home as soon as possible. Abbas wanted to get to work immediately by pre-staging all the material and coordinating permits and subcontractors. He expertly navigated the process and we were quite surprised at how fast things were coming together. We are talking over 2000 sq. feet to include a bedroom and bathroom. We were able to choose all the material, fixtures and paint colors. Thats right, colors, we had multiple colors. We also needed a special shower and toilet for the bathroom. The shower was not readily available. Abbas was able to locate, purchase and deliver the shower within 3 days -- at no extra cost. All the time that he was working, you can sense that it was never about the money, but more about providing quality workmanship and the reputation of his company. Very professional and holds subcontractors accountable. We were very pleased with the final result. Abbas took care of any issue that we brought up without question. When I say this guy is the real deal, wait until you hire him, you will not be disappointed. I will hire him again to do work at my house anytime.

I needed a shower tiled and called H and A home improvement for an estimate at 3:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon and they came Sunday morning to give me an estimate.We agreed and the following Wed and did some prep work and installed the tile on Friday.The job was wonderful and very professional.I cracked a tile trying to install shower door and they will be back Saturday to repair my mistake.they also are very tidy about their work area and most important, they show up when they tell you they will be there,I would reccomend H and A home improvement to anybody looking to get some quality work done.Thanks for a job well done, Kim and Steve
