I would have to say that Wilkins HD has the best customer service of any Harley Davidson dealership that I have visited. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to make sure each customer is completely satisfied. I rode across the US and visited a number of dealerships and they were all good, but this place was exceptional. John, the owner, and Chris in the service department made room in their schedule to service my bike to keep me on schedule. I will visit them again next time Im in the area. A wonderful experience!
Long time Vermonter, 1st time visitor.Upon entering I was greeted and asked if Ive ever been. After a negative response given, I was asked if I would like to take the tour. I obliged and was taught the history of the dealership and given a tour of the entire facility...to include the parts warehouse!Very knowledgeable, pleasant and courteous staff who were all to eager to go the extra distance.My only regret.... I shouldve bought my Harley here instead of....somewhere else... next time, for sure!!!!

My experience could not have been any better. They exceeded every expectation and made the transaction flawless. They are a well-oiled machine, buying a motorcycle is seamless. All the paperwork was ready, they went over all of my options and even hooked me up with gear and a great insurance policy with Harley Davidson. Me and my family recently lost our home with everything in it including one of our family pets I to obviously I also lost all my riding gear so I called to see if they had the same Badass helmet I had gotten there before the nice lady on the phone explained that they didnt have the same one but had one gloss but not the flat black I didnt care so I made the hour and a half trip to get it when I got there she already had the helmet waiting and I also picked out a pair of riding glasses when I went to pay she explained that one of the employees had payed for the helmet and they gave me 10% off the glasses I dont know there names but thank you to everyone there you made my day a hole lot better Im a customer for life if you want to deal with real people go here Wilkins has your back!

Wilkins sets the bar for customer service. I just bought my 4th bike from them. Donovan went above and beyond, quick honest reply to messages, and even delivered the bike because of my schedule making it tough to get to them. Tom then made sure the used bike I bought was up to the used standard of Wilkins. Again he made arrangements for drop off and pick up after hours. I can not express enough how happy I am with Wilkins each and everytime I deal with them. Thank you Wilkins, the best Team around!

I rode four hours in the rain, (it wasnt raining when I started) and despite having rain gear, which didnt work, I arrived soaked. Wilkins provided me clothes, a dryer to dry my gear, food while I waited for my bike. They helped my find a close local source for a ton of ibuprophen as I have a neck/back problem that was killing me. I felt like I was at my Grandmothers house they took such good care of me. Eric and Lindsey were of the greatest help, but there was no one in the building that was not nice. All the other customers in the building were equally engaging, polite and great for conversation. My only regret is I live four hours away or I would be there more often.

I traded in a 2021 Road King Special with 680 miles on it, after negotiations were complete we agreed on a trade value of $20,200, based on an email from there Sales Manager stating they were going to sell for 23,000, so I decided that was on the high end of fair, so I went ahead with the deal, then they list my 2021 Road King Special for $25,500, I will let you form your own opinions as to if you think this is how you want to be treated. Keep in mind I paid full MRSP for my new Harley and all custom work done as well as $105.00 per hour for the 13 hours to complete my new build. I do want to give credit where credit is due and everyone at Wilkens was amazing to deal with, Im just not happy with the financial aspect of this deal and would of been had they kept there word and listed my trade for $23,000 not $25,500.
Wanted to mount new tires on my wheels.WHD would not mount them for me(off bike) because the tires were not purchased thru WHD. They mentioned something about tires they sell are known great quality and sometimes people want inferior tires mounted. Completely understandable. It is a dealerships’ right to refuse service. I paid 520 dollars for this set of Dunlops. Far from inferior. Curious on why they would inspect my wife’s Can Am Spyder. We did not purchase the Spyder from WHD. We will never enter an HD dealer again.

Probably the worst Harley shop I have ever been in. Not acknowledged when coming in, and when I asked a question, I got a very terse no from the lady at the desk. But the worst thing was when I asked a service guy for directions to Hwy 2, a US highway less than 5 miles from the shop, and he told me he had no idea which direction it was. I find that really hard to believe. On the up side, one of your patrons outside was very nice and glad to offer directions. After this year, I would certainly think you would want to be nicer to the people coming into your store.The co owner has been emailing me about my experience, and Im impressed by his concerns over our experience and his desire to make it right. I have no doubt that things will be different moving forward. I cant stop again, but definitely go check this place out!
Stellar customer service!!! These folks went out of their way to assist me and prioritize my needs when my bike broke down during a multi day trip. He even helped my wife shovel the driveway because I was running late from work, and the snow plow backed the driveway up. Update Sept. 2020.Went back to Wilkins on my vacation the week of Labor Day on Tues. Noticed when I got back, my tires were no longer looking so good. Went back up on Wed. to look into getting new ones put on.Long story short, I traded in my 2008 Ultra Classic CVO for a brand new 2020 Ultra Limited in Zypher Blue and Black Sunglo, all blacked out.They were great to deal with and gave me a fair trade and a little off the new bike.OB at the service counter is a great guy. Honestly, hes the reason we were able to put a deal together.Very nice dealership. A lot bigger than expected for so far north.The owner, Mrs. Wilkins is great.

Best dealership I have ever dealt with! I recently started working on my 19 Road Glide and ran into issues I couldnt fix myself. Wilkins happily came and picked up my half disassembled motorcycle and all the parts. They were constantly sending pictures and keeping me up to date on the repairs. I couldnt be happier with my finished Road Glide that now has a 124 big bore kit and S&S 475 Cam. The list of things Wilkins does well is a long one. Their customer service is second to none, technicians are skilled, careful and flexible. Ive been to a lot of dealerships where the sales team will be really nice and helpful, but as soon as you go to parts, service or clothing they couldnt care less. With Wilkins, once you walk in the door, you are part of the family. It doesnt matter what department you go to, each staff member is super helpful, friendly and knowledgable. I also recently bought a riding jacket from them and Mandy in apparel, remembered me and my size from the last item I bought. She was able to get me into the right jacket that perfectly fit my needs. Bottom line: dont bother going anywhere else for you HD needs. Wilkins is the best! Ive been to so many dealerships from Maine to Georgia and nothing compares to the experience you will have at Wilkins.
I just bought my second bike from Wilkins. I cannot speak highly enough about the level of customer service that I experienced not only when buying my bike, but every time I enter the dealership. Each department goes above and beyond and out of their way to make sure that you are A.) Educated about the product or service you are considering and B.) 100% satisfied with your choice. Doesnt matter if you are buying the most expensive bike or simply a key chain- you get treated with kindness and respect. Every step of the way was a really great experience, and each department is attentive to details and your needs. I 100% recommend Wilkins and am proud to do business with them.
We were in the area for a birthday drive... but not on a Harley... we drive an electric car and Harley dealerships are known for having great charging stations. We’ve been to many of them... from Maine to Virginia. I don’t think I have met a nicer group of people than the group that works at Wilkins Harley Davidson. When we arrived... the charging station was available and not blocked. Our plan was just to stay for a quick charge... I write a blog on electric cars and like to see what is available. The charging station is reasonably priced... fair for both consumers and dealership. After about 30 minutes.. we were ready to leave and “Mark” came out to greet us and make sure we were able to charge and also to see if we had any questions. I mentioned seeing an electric Harley come by and he told me that the owner has one. I was impressed! Mark also told us the there was one inside. It was the first time I had seen one. Mark was extremely personable and helpful. After telling us about the bike... he showed us around and invited us to enjoy the showroom. Every person we came in contact was with just as pleasant. Clearly the people who work here enjoy where they work. I currently live a few miles away from a Harley dealership and would consider driving back to Wilkins, which is about two hours away, the next time we are thinking of purchasing a Harley. I work for an auto dealership, in sales, and will bring back to work the attitude I felt back at Wilkins. I want my customers to feel that valued.
I completed the Riders Academy with John and Tony, and it totally exceeded expectations! I would recommend the class to not only beginners, obviously, but also for more experienced riders in order to get good instruction on low-speed maneuvers. Might just break some bad habits. I feel much more confident on my bike thanks to this course.In addition to the great instruction, this dealership treats everyone there like family. As someone who has experience in both customer service and sales, it certainly didnt go unnoticed-- they have my business. :)

He already knew what my wants were from our constant emails prior to me arriving; so Donovan made sure to have some bikes lined up for me upon arrival! I was also greeted and introduced to John, their General Manager with congratulations on my first bike and some welcoming and friendly conversations and smiles. That girl was able to get me right where I wanted to be with my payments, and also made me feel very welcomed to be there; She also was able to arrange for my bike to be delivered right to my house! Chris helped me with purchasing a smart battery tender for my new bike, with lots of easy conversation and laughter. I also got to work with James from parts and service a few days after my purchase regarding adding on some new pipes, again with easy conversations and laughter over the phone! This team is AMAZING! I was recently traveling through Vermont on a Saturday when my front wheel bearings started growling. I called Wilkins Harley Davidson and explained my situation to a young lady that answered the phone. She put me in touch with John, one of the owners who verified they had the parts and said to bring it right down. When I arrived at the Dealership it was very busy, John was the first person I ran into. He took me over to the service area and introduced me to OB, who got the ball rolling on repairing my bike. Next a gentleman named Mark introduced himself to me, he knew my story from John and asked if there was anything he could do to help me, water, coffee and even offered me a loaner car to grab some lunch. Dan Stevens was my technician, who took the time to show me the bad wheel bearings. I can not speak highly enough of how I was treated, the friendliness, and professionalism of the entire team at Wilkins. As busy as it was they had me back riding in two hours. They have won my respect and business.

From my experience with the Rider Academy to purchasing a bike, I cannot say enough good things about the folks at Wilkins Harley. These folks go above and beyond to make you feel welcome whether youre buying a motorcycle or not.Being brand new to the motorcycling world, I was fairly apprehensive going into the Rider Academy. This quickly evaporated as Eric made something that is mentally and physically exhausting so much fun. He was serious when he needed to be, incredibly encouraging and very patient. He pushed me to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone and helped me gain confidence. This kind of environment was exactly what I needed as a new rider and afterward I felt fully prepared to go out on the road, hearing Erics voice guiding me through the whole ride.Two weeks later I decided to trade in my brand new sport bike for a Harley and again could not have asked for anything better. Mike worked hard to ensure that I had the bike that was perfect for me. He was informative in every way, honest and fun! From the initial test rides to the final paperwork and the Ticket to Ride, the hospitality I was given was above and beyond, just top notch. I would hang out with these folks every week if I could. Thank you Mike, John, Marc, Jenna, Chris, Eric and everyone else for an exceptional (and fun!) experience buying my first Harley! I cant wait to come see you guys again!

Sure Wilkins HD has an extensive inventory of amazing bikes. Yes their staff is extremely knowledgeable and go out of their way give you an extraordinary buying experience...but can we talk about something that can give you the truest indicator of this dealership’s attention to detail? Their restrooms! Yes, their bathroom game is top notch. Cleanliness like they used John Lyon’s toothbrush to get the nooks and crannies spotless. Lysol scent not overwhelming. And never leave you embarrassingly without paper products. So buy here with confidence...all your needs will be well taken care of.

I considered my local dealer, but This Harley shop was much more attentive to what I needed and put forth extensive effort to help me through the whole process. Even during a pandemic I felt safe and right at home.
We called Jon from Wilkens about getting my 2018 street glide out of storage. He said no problem. A couple days later he called me and said I don’t know if your 15K was done and the front tire definitely wasn’t replaced like it was supposed to be.Jon said I’d like to take the bike to the Barre dealership and confirm that the 15K was done and have the tire done as well. He didn’t want to release the bike to me until he knew for sure that it had been serviced and was safe to ride.They took it to the Barre dealership and the 15K hadn’t been done as I was told It would be before it was stored. They serviced it as well as told me that when I had the rear tire replaced at the 10K service that a missed matched tire to my front one had been put on that I was unaware of.They’re level of service and quality is far above what I’m used to plus they’re a great bunch of people at the Barre dealership. I look forward to doing a lot business with them.They currently have my ‘98 Dyna Lowrider and are going to go through it and make sure everything is spot on with it and running correctly.I wouldn’t trust that bike to anyone else with the sense of commitment and dedication that Wilkins have in Barre.
Just bought a new bike here and I couldnt be happier. Not only do I feel like I got a good deal, but the service was top notch. Everyone is down to earth and treats you like family, yet still very professional. The bike I wanted wasnt in the showroom so Mike had to track one down for me. Within 24 hours be had the bike I wanted and surprised my wife and I with it at the dealership. Wilkins is in a class of its own. Thanks to everyone that had a part in my purchase.
