I was doing a video recording in my home of a talk; and, plan on doing other LIVE presentations on Zoom and social media - so, I wanted to learn how to apply makeup for the camera. Marilyn is highly knowledgeable along with being a great teacher. My experience with her was definitely 5 Star worthy!

Marilyn is so professional and experienced. The best part I liked she tailor made my foundation. She also educated me as to how and what should use to improve my skin and how to do the proper makeup to match my age. She is now my coach, I have her to guide me in order to have a perfect outlook. I learned so much from her and is so happy I found her.

To begin with Marilyn was very accommodating with my hectic schedule and she was very understanding. She made the lesson enjoyable and so easy to follow. I felt comfortable to ask any questions I had. I feel confident in my ability to replicate the look again. It was all around informative, from the application brushes she was using to why each color made sense for my complexion and undertones. I also found interesting her insight on different liner types, powders, creams, gels, basically breaking down the kind of makeup substance I should use for each step. I also brought in my makeup for her to assess, she was very knowledgeable about why some were good or bad for my specific face tone. I could tell she knows what she’s doing. She’s also very friendly, I feel like I could take my girls in for makeup lesson when they’re older. She’s very encouraging and makes you feel great.

Marilyn is just lovely! I wanted a manageable daytime makeup routine that I could do on my own. She knew exactly what to do. I left looking great and not too made up. She gave me a face map to follow so I could remember the steps/shades/brushes/colors. Shes has had a lot of experience in the industry and actually even creates her make her own makeup. I decided to go back a second time for a complimentary bring-your-makeup-and-Ill-tell-you-what-is-and-isnt-working session. It was very helpful. I bought some of her makeup and so far Im super happy. Shes a gem!

Marilyn was great! I wear some makeup everyday but am a total novice. Marilyn listened to my concerns, helped me work thru what I wanted to fix and what I wanted to highlight and I love my new look! Had so much fun with my cousin getting a makeup lesson from Marilyn! We learned so much about how to apply makeup in an age appropriate way and the techniques to looking younger. Amazing Service! Marilyn is a very kind lady that will work with your budget. She stayed with us as long as the look took. She went through ALL my makeup and brushes to determine if they were quality or would clash with my specific features. She is very knowledgeable and even let me record her tips so I could recreate the look easier in the future!Updated: I visited Marilyn again this time so my niece could learn how to use makeup. My experience today was fantastic! I haven’t updated my look in 10 years and I’m my early 40’s now so what worked before is no longer working well.
