Really nice little ice cream shop. The staff were very friendly to us and happy to give us samples of the ice cream. We got 3 scoops for a reasonable price. The ice cream is good and different than other ice cream we have had in the past. The texture is very thick. The plastic spoons are almost kot strong enough to scoop it out. Everything was very clean and it was a comfortable environment. Washrooms were clean as well. We will be back.

The girls that worked here today were so kind and personable and the milkshake I got here was great, first milkshake Ive ever had that didnt send me to the bathroom or make me feel like a bloated mess. Great work ladies, this is what Customer Service is supposed to be.

Acme Valley Ice Cream Cafe has delicious coffee, freshly made pastries, stretchy ice cream, friendly employees and a cheerful atmosphere. However, this establishment DOES NOT HAVE DONUTS! Lafeens would be your best bet for some of your more unique donuts desires, and if you’re in a quick pinch Haggen and Fred Meyer can also meet your donut needs. Acme has a lot to offer, I highly recommend this place to any individual searching for a sweet treat, that’s NOT A DONUT. :)

I bought a pint of Fudge brownie and I liked the flavor but the texture was like thick rubber cement. Not enjoyable to eat! Watching my husband try and eat it out of the container was like scooping quickcrete. Wont buy it again!

Well, I love this ice cream and I generally have a good experience with the store. However I went in a few days ago and asked for a chocolate shake. I was down due to pandemic and wanted a little pick me up.One server behind the counter (pleasantly) argued that they had no chocolate ice cream (“so sorry”). I looked into the ice cream refrigerator under the counter where there were many pints of chocolate ice cream available to purchase. I asked them to use the chocolate ice cream in one of the tubs for my shake. I’d pay for it. The women again vociferously suggested that they were not available for making shakes (“I can’t do that”). I shook my head in amazement. Talk about the lack of adaptability and putting the customer first!! I left this dystopian establishment with chagrin and frustration drinking a berry shake and a pint of chocolate ice cream. A smile returned to my face....

The gal working the register was so kind in explaining that they do not sell doughnuts anymore, contrary to the Google description. (I really had my heart set on one.) Got a pastry instead, the hand made pop tart. Would highly still recommend. Amazing service, good selection of ice cream and pastries. They do not sell doughnuts haha.

Absolutely love Rocket and were so sad its closing. We look so forward to the donut of the month every month. The savory roll, croissant, buttermilk bar, whipped cream filled donut, cherry cruller, giant donuts, glazed, Oreo donut, fritters and the coconut cream are our favorites. They make good coffee as well. We always bring our dog in with us when we get donuts and the staff always offer her a treat. Very friendly staff and love the space. We will really, really miss you Rocket.

Perfect balance of adventurous and traditional flavors. Not necessarily soft-serve, but allows for you not to rush through the ice cream before it melts. Grab a cone and walk down to the boardwalk!

Cute store in fairhaven neighborhood with great coffee, pie and my son loved the cookies. Very friendly front of house staff. When we are in the Bellingham area we will definitely stop by.

Rocket Donuts is a must for dessert in Fairhaven! The icecream is creamy, and very good. The donuts are fluffy and bites of deliciousness. The staff is really helpful and fun to talk to! The quirky atmosphere adds flavor and character of the vibe in Fairhaven and the stores near Rocket Donuts. On the inside however, a little short on space, but it is not a problem if youre just popping in with your friends. The prices are also reasonable for what you get and their choices on the menu cover a wide variety of flavors and drinks.

Fun donut shop with amazingly good Acme Ice Cream (best in the area). The decor here is out of this world, I adore their collection of vintage ray guns! The location is prime on the busiest corner of Fairhaven and it can get very busy in the summer.

Coffee was good, but of course the giant donuts are what make Rocket Donuts fun. I couldnt eat one myself (dairy-intolerant) but they were definitely huge and smelled great! My partner got one and loved it (and also ate it in one sitting).

A fun spot for sweet treats. The locally made ice cream is thick, rich and always amazing, and the donuts are our favorite in town. Bonus: there are always old black & white movies playing on various TV screens around the store to entertain both kids and adults alike.

The newer version of the amazing place on Holly street! This is a great addition to the Fairhaven downtown area. Right next to Fat Pie Pizza with a great location and fast wireless access! Gluten free and gluten full both available. Kids love getting donut holes and wandering Fairhaven. I agree with them!

The butter pecan ice cream was so good. But the picture showed u had donuts and their was None there when we showed up which was a little sad.

After taste testing donuts all around Whatcom County, I chose Rocket Donuts to make the dessert for my wedding. I could not be happier! They even matched the color of the donuts to my wedding colors. Thank you! It was a pleasure working with your team!

Excellent donuts, but they are going to stop selling donuts soon and will just be an ice cream shop. Too bad. They have free water with a pitcher and glasses on the counter which I did not know so when I asked for water they charged me for boxed water without clarifying. Bellingham has really good tap water, no need to buy it.

Ive gone here a few times, and as recently as last Sunday. I didnt order any ice cream for myself this time, but I had a few bites off of my sons cones.The good:1) Ice cream is delicious. If you like hard ice cream with a nice variety, you wont be disappointed.2) Location. This is pretty much prime real estate in terms of summer foot traffic. Its directly in the heart of Fairhaven, which is a fun place to people watch. They also have a small outside section that is covered in shade in the afternoon. Very nice place.The not-so-good:1) The queuing system. Theres something really odd about this. The bulk of people coming here for ice cream are bringing with them small children, which can often be indecisive. So essentially each transaction is held up because you order your ice cream directly from the counter where the ice cream is. So you cant see the actual ice cream even if youre second in line. I can see how this could potentially cause a huge line.

Gluten free Donuts are great, when they actually have have them. I have been in a handful of times recently only to hear they dont have the kind me and my kids can have. Its pretty disappointing as we live 45 mins away. Second it would be even more awesome if they could figure out how to make a variety of gluten free ones. Not just the small ring donuts that they make.

Oh my! I came upon this place on my way to gelato and sight and smell of donuts lured me in. Their donuts were so fresh and good but it was the ice cream that blew us away. The BEST hands down!

Not a big selection of donuts, the raspberry pillow one I got was more like a heavy, overly sweet friand. Not good at all. Husband got glazed donut-nothing special but after all it is just a glazed donut. Donuts look like supermarket quality and the taste goes with it. Fun decor but Im not there to eat that. Very disappointing!

So 5 stars for (of course) the donuts, but also for the girl that sold me the donut. She asked me how I was doing, and I said, Pretty good, I just got my college schedule set up. Then she goes on about how you work hard, get it set up, then something happens, and you have to settle for a crappy schedule where you have to actually wake up early in the morning for a class. She was kind of sarcastic, and she also seemed somewhat depressed, but she said it all in a cute, funny, serious way. That girl made my day, thanks for the donut lol. Lets just say I walked out smiling ;D

Great environment, good donuts and ice cream. Pricey.Donuts are better than ice cream. Both are good, but the ice cream is quite expensive. Nearly $7 for a milkshake. My daughter recommends zab ice cream - tastes like egg nog.

I have not tried their donuts, but their ice cream is decent. They use fillers (gums), so not the very best ice cream, but not bad either. Service is always good.

Honestly, the doughnuts were mediocre, and only a few flavors are interesting. I paid over $30 for a dozen, which in my opinion was mind-blowingly overpriced. A lot better than grocery store doughnuts, but far from the best. Store has a cool vibe going for it. Wish the product was better.
