Boteler Auto provided quality and affordable service efficiently when I needed car repairs. I first used them when I wanted to find an alternative to expensive dealership repairs. Zip fixed a worn out strut for me last year faster and less expensive than the dealership.In November, I brought my car back to Zip at Boteler to address a rubber burning smell. He fixed a leak in the engine very fast. He also helped fix my brake light that the dealership failed to fix multiple times.During the last repair, my wife went into labor and I was not able to pick up my car while we were in the hospital. The level of communication and professionalism all those at Boteler exhibited was exceptional. They made sure my car was stored and told me to call them anytime I was ready to pick it up.Because of their honesty and quality work, I would recommend this shop to anyone!

Bote lol er had my vehicle to do a tune-up and a few other repairs. What I got was my axles needed to be replaced and I couldnt afford to pay botelers prices. I drove the car home and parked it. I just had it towed to a shop local to me in Columbia. Apparently Botelers stripped the wheel studs and loosened and for got to tighten the axel nut on the driver side...they allowed me to leave their shop with my vehicle in such condition....not to mention 2 cracked rims that were not cracked when I dropped off my vehicle

These guys are the best.Phenomenial service and competance. Greated me like a human being by everyone who works there.Even though I live 3 hours away I might have to start bringing my vehicles here.I was in a major long distance jam and they took care of me.

Ive never met a more honest mechanic! When I brought my handicap van in for service it was at the recommendation of another auto shop who didnt do that work but assured me I was in good hands. Well as someone who has been overcharged and dissatisfied before I was ready to get messed over but not at this place. Boteler Automotive is going to be my Go To place for both my vehicles now!! Not only did they fix my customized van perfectly so that Ive been able to travel safely since then, they were not overselling and even when I inquired about a service they educated me that it was not needed yet. Wow!! Im so happy since then I cant stop telling people how great Ray, Skip and their Team are. They are such friendly people with a nice little waiting room. Ive been here twice with my wifes car. Both times, the service was quick, and the price fair. The only bad thing is that Google sends you to the WRONG LOCATION. EDITED: They fixed the location, Google Maps sends you to the right place now.

This place is the BEST!!!!!!! I have been coming to them for a couple of months now and they are the best people in the area. I had called when my car was having problems on the way back from ocean City and Kenny walked through the steps on the phone with me as for what i should do and they never fail you. If you have a simple question or your worried something is wrong they will schedule you in to check it out. This place is the best and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!!!

Boteler Automotive is fantastic. Ive been taking my 2008 Lincoln Navigator to them for several years, and the service is incredible. My car rides like it is right off the showroom floor. Hes also been able to do service for me at prices at least 30% less that the dealer. I get pro-active maintenance on my vehicle, but he also lets me know when we can wait on an item if a repair isnt in my budget. If youre looking for a straight shooting automotive repair from a group of guys who are passionate about cars, Boteler Automotive is for you. Its actually a relief to have someone working on my familys cars that I can trust. It takes all the stress out of wondering whether or not Im being taken advantage of at the repair shop. Excellent customer service, friendly staff, fair prices. They went out of their way to help me stay within my budget and time frame, and did not ever try to talk me into anything I didnt need (in fact I was talked out of a lot of things I didnt need and/or couldnt afford, which was extremely helpful as Im going through a tough time). Simple honesty and experience are enough to earn my repeat business for a real long time. My dads a mechanic 1500 miles away so I have trouble going elsewhere... but with these guys I feel confident. First time going to a mechanic that didnt hassle me over nuts and bolts. This place is a Godsend.

Ive been going to Boteler for many years for all our makes and models from a 91 Saturn on. They even keep my 96 Jeep Cherokee with 140,000 miles running great along with a newer Jeep and Ford. I will continue to use their excellent serviceand all around great shop. No reservations needed, just drop it off, get a ride to work and pick it up at the end of the day.

These guys are outstanding to say the least. I dropped car off with a note on a Thursday night. Friday at 8am they called me. We spoke multiple times throughout the day. Bad blower motor In the beginning of July is the worst thing to experience in Maryland. Had it fixed that day. Since Im a traveling sales consultant no ac is not cool. Im thankful I was referred to them. I highly recommend this repair shop!

I came from outside the immediate Beltsville area to look at a used car. I brought it to Boteler Automotive to have it inspected before I purchased. Ray was extremely nice. He drove the car himself to check it. Then brought it back into the shop to look under the hood. He checked everything over for me, pointed out some (minor) things for me to ask the dealer about.And he didnt even charge me for the inspection!If I lived in the area, I would absolutely come here again.

This is a great place to take your vehicle for repairs or service they call when they say they will, and the mechanic are certified and they have a warranty on their work. The times Ive used them my van was ready when they said it would be.

Boteler Automotive is the best! I have a 5 year old Jeep Wrangler that has a small lift and slightly larger tires than came on the vehicle when new. Unfortunately, it has driven poorly since. I have had 2 local shops do a total of 4 alignments and some new front end parts but it still drove poorly. Brought it to Boteler’s and thanks to Ray, Chris and Shamus (hope I spelled it correctly) the Jeep finally drives like it is supposed to making the 1 1/2 hour drive back to Fredericksburg, VA awesome. I was thinking of selling it due to how it drove but not any longer.

The team there is very friendly and courteous. I have been going there for years. They are honest and straightforward. The work they do is top notch reliable. I actually have recommended my friends and family to go to thier shop. When they did go, they we very satisfied and continued to go to them for years.The same team has been working there for as long as I can remember. I have never had them try to sell me service I do not need. They make an honest assessment and a conservative recommendation.Now that I moved farther away, I actually drive 30-45 minutes from Baltimore to Beltsville to go to the shop.

I have been going to Boteler Automotive for several years now and I am sadly just getting around to a writing a review for this amazing shop. Ive brought my car and my husbands car here for repairs, tune ups, oil changes, and more. Ive never had a problem with the service theyve provided and their customer service is top notch. These guys have saved me literally thousands of dollars by telling me the truth and not trying to swindle me like many dealerships in the area. I took my 2010 Ford Hybrid here after the Ford Dealership told me a repair was going to cost around $900 for parts alone and then labor on top of that. I doubted what they were saying and went to Boteler for a second opinion. The guys here took a look at it, told me it was a $15 part and that it would take them less than an hour to fix. I brought my car in the next day, and drove off within the hour. The car was totally fine for the next 3 years before I traded it in at 130k miles. My husband took his car here after a similar situation where a dealer told him the repair would be upwards of $700, Boteler took a look, told us the options for brand new parts or second hand parts and we went with the second hand option which understandably is cheaper than what the dealer was saying, but the brand new parts were significantly cheaper as well. We walked out with a bill of $200 instead of $700. I cant say enough about these guys, theyll answer all of your questions, theyll explain what they are doing and why, and theyre honest. Its appalling what other people will try to pull on you, but these guys arent in that category. I recommend them regularly and I cant ask for better service. Take your cars here, you wont regret it.

I have been taking my car to Rays team for as long as he has been open. He is honest as the day is long. They give you an honest assessment and try to work with you to only get the work done that you absolutely need and/or can afford. Kenny and Brian communicate with you right away, tell you what needs to be done, how much it will cost, and when you pick the car up, usually the same day, it turns out to be exactly what they said. Fortunately, I am right around the corner but I would travel from another state for such a great shop. I have referred MANY people to Botelers and they have all been satisfied.
