Bemidji, for me is like the holy sight for all things crafted. Its big enough to find what you need, yet small enough for that hi how ya been greeting. Seems the diversity of culture and lifestyle has a place for whomever you are, came from, or seek to be. My personal plug would have to be the Dollar Tree, by Marketplace Foods. I love the fact that no matter what goes in the cart... It is a dollar. Makes my shopping a bit more enjoyable. Just because of that fact. Yup, I do amuse easily. Lol.. enjoy your day in Bemidji, Mn.

Got there at 5:56 along with 3 other customers, man was standing at the door trying to lock it before we got there. Asked if they had something and he said no so I would leave, man at register said they did have it and was very nice . Two customers came less than a minute after me and he closed the doors on them and it wasn’t even 6 yet. Don’t close the doors unless you’re actually closed. Not impressed at all with him.

I experienced probably the WORST customer service I’ve ever had at an establishment. Refused service to an army veteran who presented 2 VALID forms of ID. Will never go back.

Brand new building. Well staffed. Well stocked. Parking lot can be short on spots to park at times.

Excellent selection, very clean and well organized. I was baffled to see something like this in Bemidji. Its head and shoulders above every liquor store in a 100-mile radius - maybe more. Couldnt recommend more.

A good supply of inventory from many different places, including local wineries and breweries. Staff seem to be knowledgeable about whats being sold and very friendly.

This place is always so busy, great spot for a liquor store.

There was a very nice guy who works here who was very knowledgeable about products and be helpful. Helped my son to find just the right products to try on his 21st birthday today.

I am well over 21, but still have a vertial drivers licence from California since it valid for some time still. This place refuses to read the date (or their staff is incapable of reading, its hard to tell) and will not sell to anyone with a vertical drivers licence reguardless of age. Very poor buisness practice and pathetic staff, even if you have a horizontal id I would strongly encourage you to take your buisness somewhere else.

This liquor store looks good inside and out, and has a great variety of spirits, beer ect.The staff are helpful, and if one doesnt know where something is a full time employee is likely to know. Some of the prices are a little high but overall they are reasonable. Cleanliness is very good here, from the floors to the carts.

Probably the best selection of beer, wine, and booze in Bemidji. If you cant find something ask everyone there is very helpful.

Their pricing is ridiculously high! I went in for three items and left with none. Im not cheap, but I refuse to be taken advantage of like that. At another local privately owned liquor store, I paid $6 less for a case of Michelob Golden Light, $2 less for one six pack of Deschutes Black Butte Porter. This was my last trip to Bemidji First City Liquor.

Has some sweet deals I hit up every once in a while, they have random beers, ipas, and hard ciders for sale for 5.99 a 12 pack which gives you a chance to try something new without spending a bunch. They also have samples some times, try it before you buy it table set up.

Evening staff couldnt tell the difference between a business check, & a 3rd party check, so I had to stop at the Beehive on my way home instead... on the bright side, Beehive was just shy of $5 cheaper for a 1.75 of Captain Morgan. I know where I WONT be stopping by again.
