I believe this is the 4th time in the last year or two that Ive taken a vehicle here and the whole process was flawless- from making an appt. the night before (yes, they have an after hours call center) to picking the truck up the next day (on time) and in perfect working order. Outstanding service. Found myself in a pinch in the middle of a roadtrip and the gentleman at the front knew almost exactly what my issue was and got me head of line emergency service. I can thank this team enough.

First off they were not very nice. I told them I needed a new alternator and they insisted on testing it my car to make sure that’s what it was and charging me $30 to do it. If I had known better I could’ve went next-door to AutoZone and they would’ve tested it for free . I did not use them to put my alternator in because they wanted to charge me an outrageous amount to do so.

I’ve had my vehicle at a number of different mechanics for issues that never seem to get resolved. Meineke was able to identify the issues and were honest with what repairs needed to be done and which could potentially wait. I opted to have everything fixed and my vehicle hasn’t driven this great since I bought it.

Great customer service. Easy to use app, make appointment, drop off, they communicate all along the way and send you a checklist of everything checked, pick it up knowing everything was taken care of.

Prompt service. I had a 4:30 appointment and got there at 4 and they took my car right on to the back!! Was in and out in no time. Great service!!

I had an oil change here before I made a trip to Arkansas. After I started my return home, I started hearing slapping and dragging under my vehicle. When I checked the cause, I found my lower splash shield was missing the rear bolts and was only hanging on by two bolts on the front. Luckily, I had a small tool kit in the car and was able to remove the shield and put it in the trunk.

Good communication: explained work required well, called promptly when parts were in, and called when service completed. Work was done as described within timeframe given. Will definitely go back for future service.

Car died as we pulled into the lot. Unfortunately they were booked for the day but got to our car first thing next morning. Was a good experience and would recommend to anyone.

VERyY busy shop. I took that as a good sign. I needed a tire repair as I had aired it up and next day it had lost some air. I went in but they told me they were already booked for the entire day They offered an appointment for first thing the next morning. I arrived on time and they took my car back The short time I was there, they filled the remaking slots available that day and started on the next - the first hour of business. So much better than “ just leave it -we might get to it” They gave me the price up front as well. I will come back here for more extensive service than tire repair based on this experience

Worst experience ever with a automotive shop.One wheel was completely loose when I drove from there facility and they rotated the wheels and putted the worn rear tires on the front without my permission.Now the balancing is far off and the whole car is vibrating.Never again!

I dig meineke. Ive been going to this location ever since they opened. The one service they offer is updates. Theyll text or email you about the progress of your vehicle. I like that alot.The price of some great tires are outstanding. The service is great and the price is fair. Yo call them and set up an appointment. I havent had a bad experience yet even with the stupid stuff.

I had an appointment for an oil change, they started on time and finished faster than the estimated time I was given. They didn’t try to pressure me into other services, only told me what would be needed to be done based on their inspection.

I have been using this Meineke location for oil changes and other basic maintenance for years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Consistently great customer service.

The first week I went in when they were super busy but they took a few minutes to check all my tires air pressure and fill as needed, The following week my check tires came on again, they aired the one and checked i needed replacement. Their entire process was great even when I was not a paying customer.

Quick turn around. About 2 hours from drop off to pick up.

I love this location everyone is always nice. I messed up and took my car to pepboys to get new tires and a alignment and balance because it was closer to my house. The wheel weights pepboys put on my car feel off twice and didnt put my lug nuts on good so I had to buy more to replace them because pepboys would not.. so since iv used this location for years it was time for a would change and I took my car here and also got them to re balance my tires now my car runs brand-new again and I will never go anywhere else just because its convenient. I would definitely recommend this place and would not go to pepboys

I am very dissatisfied with my recent visit. I brought the truck in for brakes and to check ABS fault. The technician told me the brakes looked new and were in good condition. When I asked about the ABS fault he said he didnt check and would have to go back and do it. I said forget about that and I will come get it. I took it to a trusted mechanic and found out the front brakes were into the rotors. So basically I spent time and money on lies or incompetence. Neither of which are good customer service.

I scheduled an appointment to have a front end check done as we weren’t quite sure what was wrong with our vehicle. I got there at 4pm and was greeted with a smiling face! They checked me in right away and got my car on the lift within 5 minutes of being there. The gentleman at the counter asked me a few questions about what was going on with my car. I waited at the site and the waiting room/lobby was exceptionally clean. Comfortable chairs. The mechanic came in about 10 minutes later to tell me what was wrong with the vehicle and that they could fix it right away for only $60!!!! Within a few minutes they came back out to tell me that they fixed everything up and were going to take it for a test drive to make sure the issue I brought it in For was resolved. He came back to tell me that there still was a slight noise in the front end and he thought it may be a sway bar link. He said he wasn’t 100% sure it was that so he told me to let it get a little bit worse and more repetitive and at that point, bring it back in so he can replicate the noise and feel 100% sure that it was the root cause. I thought this was awesome customer service. He didn’t want me paying for something that may have not even been the issue!! I was so happy with my service. In and out of their in about 45 minutes or less!! I will definitely be using them as my new mechanic. Nowadays you can’t trust any of them!!!

My experience was very satisfying. I took my vehicle in for service. For the type of service performed, I thought it would have taken much longer. My vehicle was ready in approximately 4 hours and I did not have to spend a fortune. The service was outstanding!

We were coming home from a family vacation when we started having problems with our SUV. We went to multiple places (including Pep Boys and Express Oil Change whom wouldn’t give us the time of day... We felt like a nuisance to them) Meineke was the last place within route that we were able to stop at and they were Heaven sent! They figured out the problem, got the parts we needed, and stayed late to make sure we could be on our way home safely. The employees were wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about them. We would’ve been stranded if they wouldn’t have stretched themselves thin to help us.

Very pleasant atmosphere and the people were friendly. My only concern was no one was wearing a mask but they did practice social distancing.

I had an issue with my air conditioning and the mode function. Come to find out it was the mode selector/actuator. I was told they would need to get the part from the warehouse which would take about 2 hours. I had a feeling I would have to be there until about 12:30 but they rushed over to the warehouse and got the part right away. I was in and out of there well before 12:30. I was so happy with the service I received.

Great service done quickly. I was referred to them by one of their customers. I couldn’t be more pleased. They took off the old stock exhaust and installed a Borla ATAK dual exhaust on my Mustang.Very pleased customer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered tires and new wheels online and had them delivered to Meineke for installation. They had me in and out in less than an hour!

I usually go to Meineke for any insignificant maintenance work that I need on my cars. Ive had a decent experience overall, but I had a situation a couple weeks ago that I was not happy about. I had a coupon for a free A/C check, But I was talked into a more elaborate service. The free check was an actual temperature check of what was coming out of the vents. The additional service was to actually remove and weigh the freon to see if it had the full amount required for my system. Upon completing the work, the mechanic told me that the temperature coming out of my vents was 55, which made me wonder if he even weighed the freon. If he was just going to check the temperature coming out of my vents, then why did he talk me into the more expensive service?!!!

Came in late Fri afternoon with a dead alternator that I didn’t feel like fixing in a parking lot by myself. They jumped right on it and went above and beyond when it was also discovered my 2 month old Interstate battery was bad as well. Fair pricing, fast, accurate service, extremely welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

I’ll definitely be back! Only drawback is they are a little slow, but keep in mind they stay busy because they are about quality, take time to do the work right, and are thorough. Make arrangements if you can by advance appointment, then have somebody pick you up and return you after the work is done.

I havent always used Meineke for servicing my vehicles. But, since theyve moved to the McCalla area, Ive found that they give me more for the money. They are more affordable on a basic oil change than the other place that I was using and they do a VERY thorough inspection every time. On more than one occasion, theyve alerted me to issues that either were a problem or would become one. That is something that I really appreciate. And they are fast!

I recommend using Meineke Car Car Center. We had our car tow to them thinking we needed a transmission but later was informed it was something different. The cost was ten time less. I thank God for them being honest in there dealings with us.Thanks for your great service from a customer for life!!!

Wonderful people. They treat you with respect and make sure they take care of your vehicle in a timely manner. Even though they were very busy they were so apologetic and still very nice. They did a great job on my truck. My husband and I will continue using them. One more thing the lobby was spotless and comfortable chairs made. Never seen any one with such a nice place for customers to wait.

Had a tire slowly losing air. Stopped by to see if they could help. He was able to squeeze me in and got a look. There was a small crack in the valve stem that I missed. They replaced it and got me out the door quickly. Great customer service and an excellent staff.

Maid appointment for Labor Day on line and waited 1 hour to find not opened. Made appointment for next day and line for 4 to find when I got there they did not show an appointment. I had email confirmation for both appointments. I made an appointment for the next day at10:30 and it was 11:50 before I got my car back for a simple oil change. The guy did say he was sorry. Did not help on my time or expense in coming in for 3 appointments.

Made an appointment to have a basic oil change at 10:00. Finally left at 12:30. There were three other customers, no extra work was done on my car aside from the oil change.I also had a coupon that I requested to be emailed to me at the time I scheduled the appointment, and this email was never sent so I ended up paying full price for this terrible service.Save yourself time and money and just go to express oil change.

Meineke has the best price around on oil changes. Friendly customer service and the best technicians around town. They will not pressure you to buy services not needed.

I like Meineke Car Care. I feel confident that they will fix the problem I have at the time. What I like mostly about them,They dont pressure you to do other services that are needed they just let you know. They give you a print out of what services your car is in need of along with an itemized price list.

I made an appointment on Friday at 1pm I scheduled the appointment online dropped my truck off and was told they would take a look at it received a call an hour later saying it would be a two hour job now this was a little after two o’clock I was advised that I would have to bring it back on Monday I guess I’m confused on how appointment scheduling works if you make an appointment to get service within business hours but directed to bring it back on a different day I’ll take my business elsewhere than a big chain that doesn’t seem to value my time or business.

Drove my old faithful 1998 Infiniti to the McCalla Meineke and requested a checkup before deciding if it was reliable and safe to give to our 16 year old grandson. Well, the guys at Meineke did their job. There comes a time when you must weigh the cost vs benefits. The Infiniti served us well, as did the honesty of Meineke.

I knew what I needed to have done. The price was good and I was not pressured into extra add-on expenses.

Felt the new staff has taken better care of me and helped me save money.

Great service shane was very honest and knowledgeable about his job and answered all my questions with no problem. I recommend them for all your service needs.

Went there early afternoon 2-28-19 to get custom exhaust work quote. They couldnt give me estimate on the spot and so advised it would be short to give it to me. I expected reply end of that day or morning next day on 3-1-19. No response at all - not even an acknowledgement that they were working on it but needed more time. It will now be 5 days later without any response. Meineke must not want new customers - look at how I was treated and not even a customer yet. Imagine what would happen if I became one - I shudder to think about it!!!!

I highly recommend this meineke center. This is the best place in Mccalla/Bessemer/ Birmingham I’ve found, everyone is very positive and knowledgeable. My reason for this visit was, I messed up a few things doing a DIY project on my truck and these guys fixed everything and had it riding like new again for a very reasonable price. Within 24hours of dropping it off. I’ll be a returning customer as long as I live in this area.

Good service while I was out of town, even dropped off truck at my house when complete. Only complaint is that after $1,700 of work, my tire air pressure light is still on.

I wish I could give zero stars. Don’t go here. This place is a joke... I don’t think they know how to run a business. Bought a set of tires from them reluctantly. They never called me to tell me there was an issue with one of the tires I purchased and just assumed they would keep my car an extra day without communicating this with me. Found this out when I called for an update, then told them I needed a car for work the next day so they gave me the “shop car” which was a total beater. Went back to pick up my car the following day and they handed the keys over. Got home and realized it was not the set of tires I purchased. They gave me LESSER tires without telling me. My husband called to sort it out and they said they just wanted to get the tires on and didn’t want to wait on the correct tire, so they just put on an entirely different set. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Save yourself a headache.
