Carlos over in paint helped me immensely w/ giving me honest to God recommendations on the more appropriate wood stain for long lasting protection from the elements. Sat there and answered all my questions concisely but w/ all necessary details. He was very patient and helpful; provided top-notch customer service. I haven’t had service this good sine, well an immemorial occurrence.
I really like this Home Depot. The only rough thing is the busy parking lot bc everyone knows this is a great store. Every time I leave w lumber someone helps me load the car. Great employees and great store
I am doubtful that this will get any traction but my parked car was hit at this location by a Home Depot employee who lost control of some carts on 9/28/21, resulting in hundreds of dollars of damage. Home Depots insurance company has been difficult to deal with and I am still waiting to hear back regarding my claim. Would not recommend.
Was able to get floor help from Raymond. Very knowledgeable about product. Took his time to assist me. Very professional.
Super great selection and easy to find things. Parking can be a bit dicey during peak traffic times but they have the bulk pick up area well-tuned and quick to navigate.
Who doesnt know what Home Depot is like? They are all the same, pretty good. But choices are dwindling as they move to online sales. Get the Home Depot app and check for availability before you go. The app also helps you find stuff in the store. Thats what the employees use when you ask them for help
My experience with this HD location staff has been that of a superb service. This location isnt as spacious as the one in Rockville, and therefore, the selection of certain items may not be as extensive as a larger floor facility
Pro member since 2017. Love this place
They let you bring your dog 🐕 which is the best part!
Range of hardware items is great, prices are lower than most, but technical support is often limited
First time in this HD. Walked in and was easy to find what I was looking for.
Best Home Depot in the area by far. The staff is super friendly and always helpful. They have quite a few associates there that are very knowledgeable too.
Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at Home Depot. Their labeling of lumber prices was overly misleading and then they tried overcharging me. When I asked to speak with a manager, the manager just said I was wrong. After I had lumber cut, I left it there and went to another Home Depot 40 minutes away because of their abysmal service. Needless to say, I will not be shopping at Home Depot ever again
Nice service. A smallish home depot.
They have the best paint department. Carlos knows what he’s doing over there.
Not to crowded for a Saturday afternoon.
Very crowed but so far everything its smooth not long lines or anything. In and out of you know what you need.
I was at my wits end with a Home Depot in Port St. Lucie and then had a problem with a lawn mower I bought in Bethesda. Colin Trainor, store manager saved the day. Hes a great guy who knows how to deal with customers. They almost lost me to Lowes but a great resolution by Colin has kept me as a customer. Ive renovated over 35 homes so it was a great save.
There is absolutely no/horrible parking!!!
Good selection of home repair and improvement items.
This home Depot doesnt always honor veterans discount. I have veteran identifier on my license. They stated to use the discount you needs military active id.Ridiculous,I am a general contractor, but try to go to Gaithersburg. Easier to go to Lowes, they always grant the veteran discount.
Given its location and lack of parking, they do a really good job by being organized and helpful.
I had a much better experience at this home depot than any I have been to previously. 2 different employees actually asked me if I needed help finding anything when I looked lost(I dont like asking for help because Im stubborn like that...). Checkout was fast and easy, and they were taking Covid seriously.
If you want to feel like a man this is a place to go. Honestly you dont even have to know how to use the tools its enough to display them in your house and everyone will know that you are a men.I felt the masculine in the entrance of the store!Honestly prices here are okay definitely not the cheapest unless you come during Black Friday which everything is almost 20 to 50% off which is amazing. In one thing thats important to note is they dont have Apple or Google pay which sucks if you forgot your wallet at home like me and then have to waste another hour to buy your stuff
Convenient location. Can get pretty busy though, so best avoid peak times. Parking lot is small.
Employees so disrespectful!!!And down right mean
Not my favorite Home Depot as they are mostly there for homeowners not the contractors.
Why advertise “free wood cuts” in store if, after waiting for 45 minutes, asking 5 different employees, and calling customer service 3 times, you are not capable of delivering on your offer?Staff walks by the line of people waiting, pretends they are going to go get someone when asked, but no one ever comes.Terrible customer service, deserves 0 stars.
While Home Depot is a great chain the location on westlake in Bethesda is overwhelmed it seems due to too many people and too little space. The parking was very difficult, small spaces and too few of them and the store was very crowded. The staff was very helpful despite the crowd and they had exactly what I needed. Next time though I will drive a bit further and avoid all the hassles of dealing with the crowd.
Fantastic I get everything I need!
I was in the store today trying to find way and buy kitchen cabinets. I didnt have an appointment the specialized team members were booked but Rese and Eli who work in different departments helped me finishing my order. I would come again to this location just to work with them again. thank you guys!
You can find anything you are looking for. Very convenient. I just wish service could be better. It all depends on if you get lucky and find the right person to help you. Sometimes you have to wait for 10 minutes for the knowledgeable staff to help you. But considering there are not that many choices of stores close by, we take what we can.
Nice Home Depot. I dont think its as big as some other HDs Ive been to, but I havent had a problem finding what I need. Use the HD website to find out if they have what you want in stock. This HD parking lot can be challenging on weekends. There is additional parking near the post office, but if you need to park that far away its going to crowded on e you enter the store. For a quick exit try parking on either side of the store along the road, unless you dont like parallel parking. Go weekday mornings and you can make it in and out in no time at all. Every weekend I have been there its very busy. Dont waste time looking for what you want. Every employee can look items up on their mobile device to let you know where anything in the store is located. But if you are there on a busy weekend it could be challenging to get the attention of an employee that is being followed around by at least 10 customers with questions. I have to mention the HD website again because its so convenient. You can order items, pay for them, and then pick them up curbside. So convenient. Did I say its busy on weekends? Yeah, I did. Its busy on weekends.
Its good to get out to familiar stores.
👍🏽Nice and Helpful associate
Always a pleasure walking down the aisles of HD. HD associates, if you can find them, are always helpful. The outdoor garden area has good seasonal flowers.
This Home Depot has a great garden center, and unlike Lowe’s, purchases of mulch are loaded into the car for you. They don’t carry nugget mulch, but I think that is because nuggets seem to be less popular these days. The employees are all very nice and try to be helpful, though you usually have to have someone called over the store speaker to get specific questions answered. They will cut lumber for you for free, and don’t act like it’s a pain. They also have a good selection of holiday and seasonal stock.
The parking lot is a nightmare. Small, crowded and too tight.
One of the many HD I shop at. Never had a problem.
Went to pick up an appliance which was set aside for us. No one was able to locate it and when the manager was asked for at the customer service area, a vague response that, ...hes over there was the reply. Driving in and out of the parking lot, with the flower department taking up a sizeable portion of the area, was tight.
Parking is difficult when people are picking up large items but once youre in the lot, curbside pickup is efficient.
Service was subpar and I was to to use the to locate the item I was looking for. So walk out without purchasing what I came for.
The vehicle ingress and egress is on par with Publix in Stafford.
Pretty much the only game in town (Kensington/North Bethesda) now that Hardware City is closing (which has been a few years in the making given that their customer service had gone down hill as their prices went up).Their hours are good for contractors as well as homeowners, but sometimes it can be challenging to find an orange apron who can help you find non-obvious parts/supplies, and sometimes they are just flat out of supply (like today - only 1 broken bag of sand on the floor).Overall, I am pretty satisfied with this as my go-to hardware/building supplies store.
Home depot is great, had exactly what I needed. Had enough cashiers to allow me to be in and out. Easy experience.
Exceptional Services at Loading Dock! 3 outstanding gentleman assisted me with my ROADIE pick up for delivery.
Good selection, and good pricing of indoor plants.
Always a good experience at this Home Depot. Can usually find what Im looking for and prices are reasonable. They are also very good about taking returns. Sometimes it can be hard to find a staff person to help you, thats the only downside.
Getting in and out of parking at this Home Depot is always something of a nightmare. Other than that, though, the availability of what I need and the customer service are excellent.
Great service. I went on Thursday to buy a gas grill. Todd helped me find pre-assembled weber that I wanted and walked out to my suv with me to make sure it would fit. He then wheeled it out to front of store and told me drive to front where he would help put it in. When I got there, Anthony disassembled the top to make easier to put in my suv and Brad brought propane tank that I exchange. Best team service I have ever received at HD.
My experience was great
Got our Christmas tree from them this year. Absolutely wonderful experience. Great bunch of people
Clean, well organized, fast checkout
Store is fairly well organized, though there are a number of things that are inexplicably on end caps that are no where near things they are related to (e.g. smoke detectors on the same aisle as light fixtures).
This review is based on 1 person: John J. I shop at Home Depot quite frequently as I’m an artist, creator, and interior designer - this store tends to be very busy and it’s hard to find help- sometimes I have to yell literally to get someone to pay attention. This was until I met John J. This man is beyond helpful - originally he just helped me load my car when no one else was noticing I was trying to fit a 75 pound rug or door or whatever into my car - and I’m 5’8 115 pounds. This man goes beyond anyone I’ve ever had help me with making sure the item is put in car and the car is safe. So 5 star loader. Now, when I go to store I find him if I can to work w him exclusively bc he doesn’t just tell you to go to aisle X. He will find the item you’re looking for, give you his opinion on the tool if he’s used it (only if you ask which is key bc I’m a business owner), and even show you to other similar items. If it wasn’t for John J’s help in a recent unpleasant experience at the store - I don’t think I would ever have gone back to HomeDepot. This man should be a manager or something seriously. He is intelligent, kind, and truly amazing - as a business owner he’s an HR dream in a lotOf ways - he knows how to balance the line of customer facing yet keeping Home Depot front and center - I thank him and he says “that’s what I’m here for that’s what Home Depot is all about.” So here’s to you John J - you’re a truly magical person :)
Good place to shop
My roommate and I came in looking for lumber to build a bench for our living room. Pedro, the manager was extremely helpful in recommending what the best type of quality lumber we should use while remaining in our budget. JoJo, a crew member, was a life saver. He basically helped us build out the project with him right there in the store. From cutting the wood to figuring out which type of bolts and braces to use, he answered all of our questions. We walked in looking to build some additional seating on a budget and came out with a piece of furniture that has a great story behind it. Thank you to JoJo and Pedro and the other team members who stopped by to walk us through our plans and just chat. Honestly, the best Home Depot weve ever visited.
It is exaggerated how time is wasted in that Home Depot many times you look for material the staff is very inefficient, I came to look for a base board foot and it took me 1 hour and I left the store without the ma
Up until past couple of months ago I rarely shopped at HD before. Im really getting to know where the items are and am loving the curbside pickup BTW. Never thought Id like shopping online and then go to the store to pick them up.Couple things about the employees tho; this new way of shopping and dealing with clients is a new thing for them as well and yes they need to be more professional and patient but just be mindful that its a new way for them as well.Bottom line, its best that you shop online to make sure they have them in stock and do a curbside pickup if you can. Less headache, less contact, safer shopping!
The drive-thru mulch pickup is the worst. Received less bags than I paid for... I suggest buying elsewhere. They cant count or think they can cheat you out of bags.
Its a home depot. They have what I need and I can find it. In this case I didnt know where to find it and asked and was given pronounced and courteous help.
This place is super organized and the guy who helped me was so helpful. Thanks!
I always find what Im looking for here!Except when it comes to plants. They have a very limited selection in person. I havent shopped online for pickup, but their inventory is usually very limited to only the most popular, in season, plants.
They had what I needed, but no assistance in sight. Will never replace Strosniders for service or advice.
Yes,but I work there
Awesome collection of Flowers and pots.
Staff was incredibly helpful.
Meh....buying new stuff is about all theyre good for now and alot of that is lower quality to compete on price.Selling stuff for repairing things isnt as profitable.
Super crowded with not much parking
Customer service is iffy mostly good in the mornings
As every Home Depot, they have almost everything you need for construction, repairs and maintenance. Plus, a nice variety of indoor plants and seasonal decorations.
Always a project and needless stress EVERY time I go there! Yesterday no exception!
Worst experience. No one was there to help. Once I flagged someone they didn’t know the section I needed help with. They said they were going to page the right person. 15 minutes later no one.I go to customer service line...another 20 min because two people working. Finally get there, I tell the guy no one helped me and I’m frustrated. He tells me lots of people called off...fantastic excuse...on top of everything...they didn’t have what I needed.
2 out 3 employees were not helpful. Completed paperwork for dishwasher purchase and when paying employee refused both a new homeowner discount coupon and military discount, insisting discounts could not be used on appliances even tho new homeowner coupon specifically indicated certain brands were not included (our brand was not excluded!). He was VERY insistant so we finally walked away with no dishwasher.2nd employee was asked to help locate an item that online said there were 5 in stock. He could not find them so I suggested the computer should be corrected. He almost laughed in my face and said something like oh well, those things happen.Considering our bad shopping experience, I must commend another employee, Margaret. While checking out, I asked her if coupons were allowed on appliances. She assured me they were and was extremely helpful and apologetic, suggesting we speak with the store manager. This Home Depot definitely needs more employees like her and less like the two gentleman who the exact opposite of Margaret!
20 people working an aisle, everyone of them trying as hard as possible not to help and pretending to know nothing
1st time here. Very surprised that Home Depot could be so clean and organized
Great garden center!
2 weeks agoDecent experience. I guess because of covid, the associates arent as enthusiastic to come to you and ask if you need help. I had to walk around to find someone to help me but after that was a good outcome.
Parking lot is a bit confusing but its a cool place, staff are friendly and helpful, Id recommend first spending a day window shopping there then the next day actually shopping, but if you just want to get the things off your list it wont be hard to find what you need
No parking spot for truck
Good store. Always busy. A bit hard to find a person to help, but once you do they know whats in the store.

Is bad, all are tomuch xpensing
I bought a dryer. The delivery came only a week after the scheduled date. They were supposed to install it and they didn’t (I had to call Home Depot to be reimbursed and I had to find someone else to do it). Additionally, the delivery company were supposed to take the old dryer and they didn’t. I like Home Depot in general, but you can’t trust their delivery service.
Customer service is the worst!!!😠Not even one star!!!
Ive been lost in the plumbing section for three days and am running out of water, please send help. The Home Depot owners gave loads of money to Trump, so Id prefer to go elsewhere, but its so darn convenient.
This Home Depot has the art of the Covidian Age well mastered! Either curbside pickup or at the expanded customer service area! The guy who helped me was Jonathan H. and he was fabulous! The dude was super helpful and knows his stuff! On another note... I dont know who did the Spanish translation for this sign ... seen at a different Home Depot (in Rockville)... but its gibberish! Seek better translations!
Found what I wanted. Well stocked. Not crowded at noon.
Home depot has become yoo expensive. This particular one is a smaller store. Difficult to find knowledgeable associates on the floor. Several times I bought items that were sold as new but were the disgiosed returned items missing parts. Otherwise as in any home supplies location, there many useful items there fo DIYers.
Parking is a bit difficult at the Hone Depot on Motor City in Bethesda. Otherwise the store is busy as expected.
I ordered a flooring product online for pick up, all of it came in with damaged corners. On the return, the customer service was helpful with with getting me a discount on the reorder. The reorder came in and was also damaged, this time customer service had zero interest in making it right. My only option was to reorder at the original price. So now Im looking at 2 weeks with my kitchen floor being torn up, done with Home Depot.
Store itself is good. Well staffed and helpful. Parking is the sore spot. Its a small lot and the foot traffic at the front grinds the car traffic to a halt. If it is busy, drive straight to the back of the lot and then see how far forward you get - dont drive to the front first and slow everything down. Please.
Great HD and gardening section.
They have what you need, and it is a neat store with tons of staff around the isles to help. Only issue is the parking.
Great Cactus Find. Very happy
Most everything you need. i really enjoy talking to the folks that work there. You know they dont make stellar money, so giving so much heart to your job speaks volumes about character. Thanks everyone!
