I really want to like this place, but I have tried a wide variety of their baked goods and while some are just ok, some Ive hard to throw out because they just taste bad. Most recently I thew out a pumpkin cookie because it was just awful. Im sure there are gluten free options out there that do taste good, although it might be a limited selection. Im not sure what theyre doing (maybe using an alternative sweetener or other nontraditional ingredients) or if its because items are dairy free as well as gluten free, but the taste is just not good despite the very nice apperance. The place is cute and the concept is a nice thought, but if you dont need to eat gluten free unfortunetly, I wouldnt waste the calories on their baked goods.Also, the parking lot is dangerous. I understand they dont own it, but if your patrons are going to be parking there (with a sign indicating parking for patrons) you have to work the the lot owner, pony up and have the repairs done yourself or not use the lot for customer parking. Someone is going to end up getting sued, and even if Old Barn gets out of being legally responsible, they should really be ashamed ethically and morally for patrons being endangered.If you visit this place, please park on the street.

Awesome array of gluten-free baked goods and jams made in house (they taste just like regular baked goods). Plus locally sourced meats and dairy! Great choice if youre looking to add more local food to your diet.

Leaving the Bay Area means leaving the comfort of plenty of gluten free options. On a visit to Binghamton I was delighted to find Old Barn which is even better than my usual gluten free spot in the Bay. Their pastries are addicting (favs: lemon cake and pumpkin chocolate bread) and the gluten free pastas they carry are the best Ive had. So many other great things to mention including the welcoming staff but check it out for yourself and dont leave without grabbing a Kombucha on tap!

OMG! Just opened a jar of peaches we received as a gift from Old Barn Market and they are amazing! Sweet and crunchy! Not like canned peaches that tend to be artificially sweetened and mushy. A burst of sunshine in a jar. Love em! I plan to stock up (if there are any left)Kudzai

I have been a long time patron of this store, and have told numerous people about it. Beware of the parking lot just beyond the store. There is a big drop off and it is not marked. While attempting to patronize the store today my front right tire got stuck - as the drop off is not marked. I was blessed to have a group of men from the surrounding businesses come to lift the front of my car off so I did not have to call a tow truck. One of the men who was helping me told me it had happened to him before. I contacted the owner Kathy Allen of Old Barn Hollow. I was calling to make her aware of the dangerous condition, but she spent time wanting to give the number for the owner of the lot. There is a sign for parking for Old Barn Hollow, so I felt it should be brought to her attention for her to pass on to the owner of the lot. She indicated that there was a orange something showing that - but that was on the ground and not visible. She showed no compassion for the trouble I had just gone through and ended the call by laughing. I am completely disappointed and will not patronize a store that treats customers like I was treated. * Update: I just spoke with the owner of the lot. Very kind and understanding and he will take care of the issue and make sure it is marked. He acknowledged that there were markers but they had been knocked down. I just do not want anyone else to have to deal with what I just went through. If only the owner of Old Barn Hollow would have had the same level of compassion it would have made this much easier. Customers are the heart of local businesses.

I was buying cupcakes for my Granddaughters class for her birthday. Two of her classmates require gluten free food. No one except Old Barn Market had them. The selection was extensive. Thank you Old Barn.

Cute place, excellent location right on state Street DT near the galleriesI bought some really unbelievably good hummus here. Its a quaint shop that doesnt try to present itself as a grocery, yet has a surprising variety of clean, organic food. The baked goods looked incredible as well.

Cozy little place! Nice selection of organic and other healthy foods. They carry a bunch of gluten-free baked goods. They seem to always have free samples of one of the various coffee bean varieties they sell. They also have a cooler with some fresh, presumbaly local produce.

I could spend ALL my money HERE, but I never remember to go. :( Thanks to an Instagram post, I made it in today to get a GF donut. So many fantastic, local products. I dont know the girls name who was working, but she is very sweet. I love that they have a parking lot and I need to remember to go back.

Got a vegan, gluten free lemon pie for my daughter and you couldnt tell anything was different from a regular pie...it was very good and the cashier that was there was very helpful.....there is also alot of locally grown foods here

I love Old Barn Hollow! I pick up my farm share there each week and always manager to grab some fresh, local produce, eggs, cheese, yogurts, etc. They bake gluten free items there too! Its a great place...stop by!!

The best GlF, DF peanut butter cookies around bar none. I particularly like when you can get them when they are still soft. The jam thumb prints are amazing too made with in house jam. Actually all of their desserts or wonderful.

They have a great gluten free section. It includes beads, pasta, cookies, brownies, different flavors chocolate mounds & doughnuts. I recommend that you try one of the brookies, part brownie part cookie. 100% delicious!

I like thinking of Old Barn Market as a righteous grocery store, in the class of Side Hill Farms in Manlius. Yet, the difference between OBM and SHF is a matter of degree than kind. SHF moves the fresh lamb, chicken and beef so much faster than OBM because SHF does butchering and charcuterie on the premises, right before the eyes of the customer. And the butchers are going to be butchers at SHF for life. Theres no reason for those gals and guys to go anywhere else. Like I said, OBM is a righteous grocery store, but it has a freezer locker mentality. I didnt really look at the meat lockers because I couldnt identify the meats at a glance. I would have to read the labels. I loved how the jams, honeys and other products were celebrated, but I wouldnt detect a bakery by the lovely scent of baking bread at OBM.Show the bakers. Show the butchers. Let us watch them work. Get the staff out circulating in the aisles.Really was intrigued by the OBM story, and I could imagine a self-reliant baker living in the hills with her true loves. I could see the coffee was branded OBM. But I couldnt fill in all the pieces of the story.So much was fresh. So much was right. And I loved the support of local arts and crafts by displaying items locally made by local artisans, marked of sale. I noticed that C.S.A.s had access to the market for selling shares, too. However, I noticed a package of donuts with evidence of freezer burn. Somehow, those freezers have to be made friendlier. Side Hill does a good job of that.I wanted a cool, righteous ginger soda or cherry stomp from that place in Seneca Lake, but I cant remember seeing a drink cooler just for the impulse buying.

All local, seasonal, organic, and fairly priced produce! Im one person, and spending 20 bucks a week there on groceries is worth it, it lasts, and I feel so healthy.
