Weis Market is really one of the greatest grocery stores in the area. The selection is great and the staff is always kind and curtious! People say the prices are high but they treat their workers right and give them a good wage. You get what you pay for and every time I visit Weis I walk out with a smile π
They failed to open at 6:00am on Tuesdays for senior citizens and handicapped people like the sign in the store window says. And if you do manage to get in early in the morning there produce is whats left over from the night before. And forget about buying individual seeded rolls because there never any. Customer service sucks at this store. The only outstanding worker is Beth on the register!
I normally shop on Robinson St as its close to home. It was nice to check out another location. Nice store, staff was great. Thank you Weis!!
Not a bad place to shop. They definitely have what you need with comparable prices for the area. Staff usually nice and helpful
Friendly and helpful staff..always clean and stocked pretty well.
Fine store, wide selection, responsive staff. Of late, sadly, some noticeable supply chain shortages have affected here.
Clean, neat and ergonomically arranged the employees are usually very friendly and helpful. Also they carry a good selection of meats and produce
Nice place to shop big found everything. But self checkout register talks. To much lol
Always well stocked, great selection options, orderly and courteous workers.
Fish dept very helpful in filling out order crabs and cashier help explain our savings and told us about survey!
I love all the WEISS grocery stores in Broome county! Nice produce, always something on sale & (ALMOST) π³ always a VERY helpful staff.
Pretty decent. Wish they had more of a selection.
I like this neighborhood grocery store. I can find most of what I need without having to check in another store.
At 5:07 this evening we went up to customer service on Pennsylvania ave and they said they were closed and seems like they can make up there own hours when the sign states 8a.m. Till 8 or 9 p.m. and this is on numerous occasions and they are very short with a lot of customers which is not appropriate for a store to do so. And all the money we spend were thinking of taking it elsewhere where they follow the rules of the time not too very happy again
Prices donβt ring up as marked. ALWAYS out of pretzel rolls in the bakery. BAKE MORE itβs really not that difficult.Update: Way to copy and paste the same generic message every time someone leaves a bad review. A bit of advice: Pay attention to detail of each bad review and reply accordingly. Again itβs not that hard. I refuse to shop at Weis ever again.
One of my favorite places to shop.
The people are always nice and eager to help. :)
Friendly staff and quick in and out
I love shopping at Weiss. .... they have good meat specials ... my freezer is full, and hasnt cost me a lot. .... I find myself shopping more and more there. .....
Great variety. Love it here
The checkout people are always friendly and helpful
I love this supermarket
I come to this location once or twice a week in the evenings as I work and attend school all day (weekdays and weekends). Every time I come, they never have anything stocked on the shelves that I need. If I ask customer service they refuse to help me, even though if I come the next day the items are stocked. I donβt have much availability during the day so coming at night and seeing that they refuse to help me is very upsetting. I explained my problem to someone at customer service just a few minutes ago 3/5/21 6:45pm, and she was extremely rude and unhelpful. She wouldnβt even consider checking to see if my item was in stock, nonetheless ask me what the name of the item was. Iβm extremely disappointed in this establishment.
All good.
The best! What a great team π
Had what I wanted !
Now that we have self check out, Iβm a huge fan. No more waiting in long lines come first of the month. Clearance items are often a huge score as well.
Good place to grab a sandwich while waiting for your vaccine
I went here by bus and th area always confuses me a bit but...i had a gr8 trip 2 this weis today with my food stamps...i got a blueberry pie 4 $1...meatbals...buter...π§ and...my favorite...Pure Leaf Sweet Iced T...i forgot 2 get Steak with Alltel fat on it...but I plan 2 get that at th Weis on conklin avenue...and...i plan 2 go back 2 this weis bc theres a Smokers Choice
Its a nice store, they always have what you need
Great service they were really nice and respectful
I had the usual experience, got what I needed and left no problem. The manager Steve is pretty nice.
Love baked goods. Friendly clerks. Clean supermarket
Dont like all the do it yourself registers they have 8 or 9 cash registers only to is opend on some of the buisest days of the month im in that store a whole lot spend alot of money and i dont like having to pay for bags thats petty in my books paper bags should be free specialy wen people spend a lot money if this keeps up ill find another store to spend my money in ....
Always convenient quick stop n shop
I love these people so friendly
Never have anything Im looking for π
I work here. I recommend weis over any other food market store. You can get all the fresh best tasting products at weis. No bs no long lines.
Great place π
Another nice groceries store with nice produce
I am very unhappy with your 2 stores (1) located on Vestal Prkwy. And the other on Pennsylvania Ave. Both located near Binghamton, NY. These stores carry very few vegetarian products such as Amys other wonderful vegetarian companies. They also rarely carry petite frozen peas all year. It seems Weis is reluctant to support vegetarians needs and rarely get these products on a regular basis. In comparison with Wegmans your store sti is, a d I would prefer to get them from Weis, but I have given up. You need to educate your employees about the needs of vegetarian prepared frozen foods and foodstuffs.
I rarely post reviews on anything unless I am either thoroughly disappointed or exceptionally pleased. Iβm happy to say that the reason for this post is because I am exceptionally pleased. Man they did an awesome job with my sonβs cake, I gave them a photo and my ideas as far as what I wanted and they nailed it! Thank you Weis!
I wonβt be shopping here anymore. For the 2nd time, a cart has struck my car and I am stuck with the repair bill. They do not keep their lot clean at all. I have seen carts sit in the same spot for hours or even overnight without being touched. Iβd rather pay a bit more and shop at Wegmans (Who keeps their lot immaculate) than take a chance being stuck with a $500+ repair bill for shopping here.
Penn Ave WEIS is always clean and service is impeccable
Management should be more cautious on employees? Although Jeff I have seen and family one of the good ones!
Everything was fine. NOT crowded. Fast service.
Great experience for the little time in the store.
Their shelves are stocked, no limits during this shopping trip. Lots of sales, prices are a little above average but worth it. Dont forget your own bags!
They have their hours posted on the door which are different per covid-19. However it states they close at 10 but on more than one occasion Ive gone at 9 and they are already closed. They need to either adhere to the hours they have on the doors or put the correct updated hours they are actually following currently
Weis is the biggest bait-and-switch grocery store around. Prices are -consistently- higher than other food stores; sales that are only a few cents lower (if you buy 3-10; and even then they might still be higher than elsewhere!), lesser variety, shopper card requirements, and now, the biggest kicker, they require their APP installed on your phone, linked to the shopper account so that you can actually get the advertised prices!!!Im not actually sure how this isnt discrimination, since older people not comfortable with technology and people without smart phones are now essentially being overcharged.Stay away from underhanded marketing tactics and shop elsewhere.
The staff could be a little more helpful
I love the Coustomer service.
Weis is an ok store but since I cant review their products on their own web-page Im doing it here. Their baked goods, specifically their hot dog rolls and kaiser buns are horrible. While they taste ok, expect them to fall apart in your hands when you try to use them. A pile of crumbs.
Decent selection, clean, fair prices but nothing outstanding.
Easy to get to. Great selections.
Clean and organized, but runs out of product (even their own label)
Great little market to stop in for basically any food necessities!Always good customer service too
Perfect little local grocery that is close by when we need it. Clean and well maintained, friendly staff. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars, is oftentimes advertised specials are not on the shelves and VERY often the store in completely out of half and half no matter if it is on sale or not. We buy it for home and our office staff. The employees are more than willing to run back to see if they have more, but stocking the shelves and keeping them stocked and full when the entire section is sold out tends to be a bit lacking. Special shout out to Mary who is usually the daytime Customer Service person on duty. Friendly, knowledgeable and has helped me with everything from finding me half and half, returns, rain checks when they are out of sale items and even and emergency Western Union from time to time.
Its strange that I received this notification an half an hour BEFORE I went to the Weis. Noooo, noooo, nobody is listening through our smartphones. Great Weis tho! π...π³
Very convenient location. Friendly staff. fresh fruits are of very high quality. I like that its not over crowded.
Quick and Convenient.
I am very upset with Weis Markets, because when you check out you have to bag your own stuff. I have a right wrist injury and it would help if the cashiers would help bag the groceries.
They have pretty nice employees. They seem to work well together as a team, I sense maybe? Bri is my favorite. Great service from her, good small talk that delights my days. Decent prices. Not the worst but not the best. Quality in store brand? I dont recommend. Specially the store brand cheese. The family Dollar has better cheese.
This Weis has the best selection of products out of all the other local Weises. Also has the best customer service.
Better than it used to be! Way better!
Great...has what I need and want..
Wies Markets consistently deliver fresh produce and easy to find items. The best section is ready to eat packages already cooked when you are on the run
We have found Weis market to be a good overall neighborhood grocery store.
After going to this store for almost 12 years, I am not going there anymore because of one rude, incompetent supervisor. It takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch and I can take my money somewhere else and be treated with the respect I deserve. I dont deserve a nasty attitude for asking a question.
The best weis ever!!β€οΈβ€οΈπ₯°
Friendly service.
Good meat sales
I worked here and was discriminated... since I called corporate office the employees now dont speak to me, and one has rolled her eyes, oh well!!! If I stand alone so be it, but I will always stand up for whats right when it come to me and my family...
This Weis is not my favorite Weis, though it is better than the one on Robinson St. (Upper Front St. Weis is my favorite local grocery. It has the best prices, a better selection of discount meat and breads, and the best $20 butcher packs.) This Weis offers a great selection of goods though, better on that count than the other local Weises. It is also the largest store by-area and features an attached CVS.I was not impressed by the variety in their $20 butcher bundle (which is usually enough meat for me for 2 weeks) which contained chicken wings, chicken drumsticks, chicken thighs, and Italian sausage. Upper Fronts usually contain ground beef, chicken thighs, sausage, and pork chops. I took two stars off for that and the lack of meat specials, before giving one back because this store is immaculately-clean.
Its just your average supermarket. Produce section is decent. Dry goods adequate. As Im a vegetarian, I cannot evaluate their meats and fish except to say that they stock them both.
More than once I have purchased produce that has spoiled by the next day. I would rather go to Wegmans and pay extra to buy real produce.
Weis Markets are very clean well organized store. Great produce, bakery and meat counter. A little higher priced than a place like Walmart but when you want good produce its a great place to start.
Love it
Lots of reduced prices on good selections of meat
People at the courtesy counter can be a bit gruff.
Clean, bright, roomy; help you out or leave you alone; has everything - much high quality, all fair priced. Dont cook fish at home or bake, but their store baked rye bread and cooked cod are treats. My quality of life, health, and solvency are well served by this Weis store and its workers.
Deals! Love the workers here theyre all so friendly and p ite, always smiling g and helpful!
Friendly male employee in produce was helpful and went out of his way twice to help me. This was my first time in one of your stores. Customer service got me a card quickly and outside of me no being unfamiliar with the stores set up, it was fine.
Love to shop here
Always fresh seafood.
Always nice. The help is wonderful courteous and happy. The Shoppers are pleasant as well period I have no complaints of all the local Weis stores around me
Nice there today the 4th of July was clean and the staff that I encountered was friendly! Even if they had to work today being a holiday no one seemed upset and acted professional!
High prices
Not to crowded.
This is my Weis. The best one in Binghamton and surrounding area. Always clean and classy. Usually many ways to save money with several 2 for 1 deals. Need a pharmacy close by, they handle that as well and their staff is always friendly.
Kind of pricey compared to Wal-Mart, and I wouldnt say I was impressed with their selection of home goods (non-grocery). Zero office/school products, either. Id recommend Wal-Mart in Vestal over most Weis locations.
Always check their expiration dates.
I love this grocery store, dont get here often anymore. Clean, inviting, up to date with changing technology. Friendly & helpful employees.
Stopped at a weis I was unfamiliar with the layout of for organic bananas. Associate was stocking produce...walked me over to where bananas were. Thank you!
Staff knows about the products they sell and offer suggestions
Friendly staff, clean inside and nice to have a CVS connected to it. I like this store
Macaroni Salad, Potato Salad, Shrimp Salad, loaded with sugar, why does everything have to have sugar. No wonder everyone is diabetic. I dont make it at home with sugar and lots of spicy brown mustard. Make it with no sugar next time !!!!
