We used Rogers moving to move several estate items from Binghamton, NY to my cousin and I in Maine/New Hampshire. One item needed special crating. In addition to providing a competitive price, Rick at Rogers effectively communicated what we needed to do prepare and when to expect movers to arrive - very much appreciated. They also went above-and-beyond and helped coordinate two drop-offs - one at my house and one at my cousins - which usually cannot be done for the size load we were moving. Also, their estimate was detailed and easy to understand.

I went to have some papers shredded. They are great at this. The person who took my papers did not wear a mask. Otherwise, a seamless process.

I recently used your companys services to move last Tuesday, .3/27/18. The gentlemen that came to move me were absolutely wonderful. They were professional, courteous, helpful, and answered all of my questions. They moved me very quickly, but while taking great care of all my belongings. When they brought everything to my new apartment in Binghamton, they put all of my furniture and boxes in the right rooms, which made unpacking so much easier. Great place for family and friends. Highly disability friendly. Although, the park and observation areas are built for wheelchair access, they are missing several essential paths. It is odd?

There are no words to properly thank the many people at Rogers Service Group who, from start to finish, made a very difficult move minimally exhausting! Upon finding out our closing date was being pushed back, and all our moving plans in need of last-minute adjustments, (during an already busy season), their team did everything possible to accommodate our needs and provide a smooth and worry-free move.Michelle was able to get us rescheduled, quickly and calmly; and ensured that everything, from everyone involved in the process, was done to near perfection. Boxes arrived, schedules confirmed, movers assigned, and nerves settled. We had a rather large and complicated interstate move that Rogers handled for us in 2019. Net weight was 16K lbs, with about a dozen pieces of high end furniture, half of which required placing in storage while we put our house on the market.This had to be the best move weve ever had performed for us. Thanks to a cuz in Broome County, NY for making the recommendation. I can verify that Rogers Moving is a top notch company to choose for a complicated (or any) household goods move!

John, Carrie, the loading crew, all were easy to reach when I had questions, were prompt, and were respectful of my belongings. Highly recommend.

The initial visit helped us begin to get organized, the movers were professional and careful with our items and our home and the office staff had excellent communication throughout which put us as ease! I was so pleased with the service I received for our move. Arrangements were made for an estimate with the first phone call. John Goodspeed arrived on time and had the inventory collected quickly. The follow up estimate was emailed quickly, which I agreed to. All appointments happened at the specified time. Our packers were efficient and and knowledgeable. I had received instructions for the packing I was doing.Moving day came and the beds were dismantled and the last minute packing was done. I was informed that the load would be stored in their warehouse until a driver was assigned because I didnt have a full load.Carrie Follett kept me informed of the progress of our move . Seven days later our household goods were delivered to our new home in TN.As with the packing the delivery went smoothly. Boxes were placed in the appropriate rooms. The beds were put together. We were able to start the new chapter of our lives in our new home that night.Rogers Service Group made this transition a pleasure.

As a quick recap I called Rogers and spoke with Carrie in the office who spent time explaining things to me in terms I could understand. She followed up with me by email and set everything up. There was no guess work, no being left in the dark feeling. Rather her efforts made me very secure in my decision to use Rogers. On moving day the movers were presentable and polite. They knew antiques and fine furniture and how to move them safely. They even took great care with the items that were less than valuable or presentable. They set everything up in my new home quickly and with a smile on their face. And here is the part that will amaze you . . . they finished ahead of time and therefore the quote I was provided was decreased. Yes that’s right I paid less then I expected and with moving services I received so much more than I could ever have dreamed. Rogers it is no wonder you have been in business for over 50 years. Over the last several months, weve used Rogers for shredding purposes related to a merging of our offices...they set up a plan and worked with us to complete the project...the service guys were prompt and courteous and a pleasure to deal with...it couldnt have been easier...wed highly recommend using Rogers for any shredding needs you may have.

Save yourself the trouble, NEVER USE ROGERS OR UNITED! Terrible customer service, nothing but headaches. Nancy was sent to our house to do an estimate and explained that the number could change based on weight and she was going to estimate high so it was more likely to cost less than her estimate. When it was time to book, we couldnt get a hold of Nancy but another woman schedule the move. The driver arrived the day before we agreed upon (we were not ready) but if he hadnt Im not sure they would have gotten it all done the scheduled day. The weight was off; it was more than 2000lbs over Nancys estimate and drastically changed our bill. It was explained (and in their written contract) that they had to bill us within 30 days. They did not. 3 months later a final notice is emailed to us. They claimed it was emailed sooner but couldnt provide proof. After much back and forth they maintain we need to pay because they moved our stuff and it weighed more than they estimated dispite what their documents state.

In January of 2011 we had to relocate our office from the Press Bldg to a new office because of the water and smoke damage....Rogers promptly moved all furniture and files...we were very pleased with the employees and how efficient they were....

Working with the Rogers Service Group was probably one of my worst ever mistakes. On moving day the truck was late, the manager was rude and stalked off to talk to his manager for more than one hour while I was just kept waiting, they were ill-prepared in terms of trolleys or other moving equipment, they declined to protect my furniture- almost every piece was damaged and they declined to provide any assistance with the resulting insurance claim. If I had used a different service I assume the whole process would have been much less stressful and my almost brand new furniture would still look that way rather than the scratches, dents, bangs and repairs I now have. I would never use this service - find someone whose moving managers are more professional.
