Great experience as a first time client! Reasonable wait time, polite and friendly team. Dr. Schaubach was very thorough with her exam and did a great job explaining everything to me.

Staff was rude and uncaring, unwilling to work with me or be flexible despite a long term relationship. Lost me as a client

After waiting a month for an appointment, I drove almost an hour to their office, and they told me they couldnt see me because I was a new patient.

2 weeks ago Dr. Bradley literally Saved my life, had Dr. Scott Mann not sent me here I Wouldnt be alive today ❣️ Dr. Bradley and his team found the the recent Eye Stroke in my Right immediately sending me to Roanoke Memorial hospital .

Dr Eng and his crew are a very professional staff who treated me with not only great skill but caring and compassion as I went through surgery on both eyes always checking. before and after to make sure I was comfortable and was not having issues would highly recommend to anyone needing eye care

If you had to wait any longer they would have to sell caskets too it is rediculous

Ive seen both optometrists and had experience with many of the nurses. Everyone is so nice! I really appreciate feeling listened to and not rushed. Every concern you have is addressed and they work with you and ensure you leave happy every time.

The doctor was great, and very convenient location. However, when I called to order replacement lenses, Jennifer had no idea how much they would cost, and seemed unwilling to look up the retail price. She seemed put off when I explained that I needed to know how much I would be charged,as I am on a budget and cannot afford to overdraw my bank account. She then said I would have to wait until Friday (today being Tuesday)to even talk to someone who could answer my questions. I am not happy with this customer service, or the lack thereof

I LOVE Dr Schaubach. She is professional and helpful and knowledgeable. She is easy to talk to and very thorough with her exams. I feel like my eyesight is in good hands.

Just had cataract surgery done by Dr. Bradley of Eye Care & Surgery, Blacksburg. What great people to work with! Every technician was friendly and professional, from the ones at the office to the ones at the surgical center. They put you at ease, and make a scary situation easier to handle. They are very good at explaining what will happen ahead of time, during, and after the surgery. I admit, I was nervous about having cataract surgery, but now that I found Dr. Bradley, I wont hesitate to have the second eye done when it needs it! Highly recommend these folks!

Wonderful experience in both Blacksburg and Salem offices. Dr. Eng and the entire staff are Amazing!! I had cliosed angle glaucoma surgery and all my questiins were answered with care and resoect. I thank you all..

Went here to have an eye exam, and while I have no particular complaints about the care I received, but I was put off by the right-wing Evangelical propaganda magazines (promoting gay conversion therapy and Intelligent Design, amongst other things). It’s a sad and embarrassing sign of how backwards Blacksburg still is that in 2018 a doctor’s office has religious material in the lobby. If this bothers you as well, I recommend selecting a different optometrist.

This was my first visit and I enjoyed it. I would recommend the doctors here. They were very nice. I took off one star for the optical store. The ladies there werent very helpful.

I had to wait more than an hour and twenty minutes and have yet to see the doctor. Overbooking patients is a waste of everyone’s time. I arrived on time and my time is valuable, as is for all the other patients in the waiting area. I don’t plan on returning.

Everyone was pleasent and knowledgeable. This was my third visit and each time theyve been quick and professional.

Dr. Schaubach and staff were excellent, professional and caring. I called the EC&S office in the mid afternoon close to their closing time, explained my symptoms and they got me in right away (this was my second opthalmalogist call as the first doc office I called couldn’t fit me in, but they did say it was important that I be seen by perhaps my optometrist or general practitioner). It turned out that I had a PVD tear, and had I not gotten the treatment protocol that day from Dr. Schaubach then I may have continued doing my usual strenuous lifestyle the next day and further excelled the issue to a more emergent state. Very grateful to Dr. S and the staff.

I have had fine experiences here before, but I waited 50 minutes before walking out without having seen the Dr. My time is valuable and overbooking time slots and forcing people to wait is unacceptable. I will be looking for a new ophthalmologist shortly.
