Came in to get my Julbo Vermont temple arm and frame worked on. Getting the temple arm screw through all the slots is a real bear to do on ones own. Owner/proprietor (Mark?) embodied the epitome of southern charm and hospitality, taking care to explain the repairs/adjustments as he made them, charged me nothing, and then made friendly conversation for the rest of my visit. My eyeglass needs are few and far between, but should I have any more of them, I will never go anywhere else in Blacksburg. With that kind of service, even if I move away, I may just mail him what needs working on. Highly recommended.

See Mark Optical is hands down the best place to go for eye glasses. Mark, Carrie, and Lisa provide excellent customer care, taking time to make sure you get the perfect fit. I have a challenging prescription (bilateral strabismus with big time astigmatism) Mark helped select a cute frame that would work well with my prescription and suit the shape of my face.As long as See Mark is in business, I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else.

This is my first experience with prescription glasses. I went somewhere else first and they were not bad but I felt I needed a friend there to help me decide what glasses fit well. Then I went to see Mark and I needed no friend!! He was very honest about what glasses fit my face best and spent so much time with me. He is extremely passionate about what he does and it is evident with his customer service. Cant imagine ever going anywhere else honestly. Hes a keeper!!

My glasses broke and I showed up 30 minutes before they closed after being referred to them by another optometrist who couldn’t do repairs. They were fast, efficient, and had a matching piece and I was out before close. Also one of the best customer service interactions I’ve had in quite a while.

Mark at See Mark Optical has been providing me with excellent service for prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses for a couple of decades. He is very knowledgeable about the quality and utility of frames. He has excellent taste when helping select a frame that is flattering. Most of all, he is exceptionally skilled at adjusting my frames to fit my asymmetric face. One side of my entire body is larger and disproportionate from the other and one of my ears is 1/2 inch higher than the other. It is no small challenge to get eyeglasses to fit my face and to be comfortable. Mark carries a wide variety of frames that span from High Fashion Boutique Quality to Budget Frames. He takes all of the time that is necessary to do a thorough job and often fixes my glasses when I mess them up without even charging me for his time. Mark is a pleasant person to do business with so I encourage anyone to visit See Mark Optical.

Mark is an incredible person who I look up to. He isnt like most businesspeople, he truly cares about his customers, and uses them as his primary form of advertisement, and rather than trying to make a quick buck off of you, he would rather keep you as a long term customer, which means he will go above and beyond to keep you happy!. He will go above and beyond to fix your glasses until they are completely beyond repair (even fixing other, less skilled opticians errors!!), and he is always trying to save his customers money. He truly is a good person. Come into his shop, and you will be impressed!

I needed a special screw for my glasses. I told him that Ive been using a paperclip to keep my glasses frame together and he found it funny enough to fix my glasses for free. He was very kind and even tighten up the other screw. I would definitely recommend going here for any glasses/optical needs. If I ever need new glasses, I will definitely go to him rather than myeyedr. 11/10 would recommend

Ive ordered my glasses from Mark for over 10 years. Every experience has been great. Oh, and its MUCH less expensive (for the same frames& lenses) than Bburg Eye Assoc.

After about 20 years I couldnt go anywhere else, you feel like family and he always has time, he is honest and knows his business well, he even picks my glasses and tells me his honest opinion on how they look, he has a great selection and good taste always finds the ones I like.Mark is just a nice guy, its a pleasure to see mark!

I talked to him on the phone and when he found out I couldnt make it during business hours, he offered to stay late and wait until 6! I left work and rushed there, calling him on the way to make sure he was still able to stay but his phone was off. When I got there (at 5:40), he was gone. He called later to apologize and offered to come in over an hour before he opened the next morning. Fantastic guy.Update: I just got a pair of glasses from him after losing mine and I was hoping to get them within the week. He finished them and I picked them up in one day! Very customer centered. He gave me a great deal and made sure that everything was perfect with them. He also shipped out my Costa frames for me for warranty repairs.

Absolutely the best customer service I’ve ever experienced.I went to get a new pair of lenses for my prescription glasses, Mark and his assistant Ben are two of nicest people you’ll ever meet, they talked me through all options, their pros and cons (didn’t just want sell me all the unnecessary add-ons like how pretty much every other optics retailer does!), the lenses were prepared in record time and Mark made sure frame is perfectly fit, and all for extremely fair pricing! Definitely won’t be looking at any other optics shop as long as I’m in Blacksburg or anywhere nearby.

When you live away from Blacksburg long enough, you really start to miss See Mark Optical. As a lifetime wearer of glasses, theres no one that can match his customer service, genuine care for people and friendliness. Id guarantee theres not a better optical shop in this country. I certainly have never been to one that comes even close. I may have to make a trip down to bburg soon.
